RAM install help

Hi,

Im installing 2 sticks of ram into a Gigabyte B450M DS3H (http://download.gigabyte.us/FileList/Manual/mb_manual_b450m-ds3h_e.pdf)

I want to make sure im putting the RAM in the right slots. Am I suppsoed to put 1 RAM in Channel A and anther in Channel B or both in the same channel?

According to the PDF manual (linked above) channel A is slots 2 and 4, B is slots 1,3.

So do i put the RAM in slots 1 and 2 so its over Channel A and B, or 2 and 4 so its all on Channel A?

(RAM: Kingston HyperX FURY 16GB (2x 8GB) DDR4 2400MHz Desktop Memory Black)

Thanks

The slot numbering is misleading, but just follow the table on the top of page 10. With two sticks, use either slots 3 and 4, or slots 1 and 2.

The slots are not numbered sequentially. Going by closest in distance from the CPU, they're numbered 4, 2, 3, 1.
