get the ax200 if you can. i believe its the flashship laptop wifi card (not sure tho)

Flashchip?

There is standard PCIe, which the AX200 is, and CNVi.

Ah. Well both are flagships, just one is a newer generation than the other.

What card did it originally have? The Intel 9560? Or the 9461 or 9462?

Linus mentioned in the review that the WiFi card in this laptop is pretty garbage so I was wondering what a suitable and compatible replacement would be. I don’t know anything about WiFi cards.

I apologize if there is a specific category this should be in but I didn’t think this would go in networking.

So I have just got my zephyrus ga502 and had a ping of 60 a download of 20

And an upload of 6 with the stock wifi card..

Anyways let's get to the point. I had ordered a Intel 9260 with the computer and when it had arrived

(REALY IMPORTANT BIT HERE!!! )

I HAD INSTALLED AND RAN THE DRIVERS       (.https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000005634/network-and-io/wireless-networking.html

BEFORE SHUTING DOWN REMOVING THE BACK AND PUTING IN THE WIFI CARD.

I put everything back together and it all ran smoothly

I am now getting ping of 6 and download of 212.16 and an upload of 14.79 if you need to conact me for questions my email is owenwaltersuk@gmail.com
