E:\ is not accessible
Access is denied.

Yes, it does, but how much space is available is not shown.

When I try to add myself, I get the following message when I press apply
" An error occurred while applying security information to
E:\
Failed to enumerate objects in the container. Access is denied."

EDIT: PLEASE NOTE that in the security tab it shows " You must have Read permissions to view the properties of the object."

I had a drive that guest accounts couldn't access. I followed this forum to do that https://forums.tomshardware.com/threads/how-to-restrict-access-to-local-drive-partiotion-to-guest-account.1001751/

Now yesterday after cleaning my pc, my windows wasn't starting. SO I reinstalled windows. Now I can't access that drive.

Is there a way to access it because I have a lot of important files in there.

Thanks for helping!

Do I understand you correctly.

You changed the permissions on a partition in order to prevent guest accounts from accessing it.

Then you had to reinstall Windows, and now you can no longer access that drive even on your main account. Correct?

What error message do you get when you try to access the drive?

Does the drive even appear in Explorer?

If the drive does appear, while on your admin account, right click on the partition in Explorer, choose the security tab, edit the permissions, add yourself (and preferably the administrators group) and give yourself full access to it.

If it doesn't appear in Explorer then you need to mount the partition. You can do that from "disk management" in Windows.
