You might want to go HEDT.  Quad Channel memory and quality components and high core / thread count.  I would personally wait until Zen 2 comes out in 2 months then you will have the Zen 2 ThreadRipper 32 cores 64 threads.

If you don't want to go HEDT then grab a Z390 Gigabyte motherboard and throw a 9900k into it.  You will have 16 threads to work with and cost will be much lower then HEDT.  good luck and let us know if you have further concerns or questions and what not.

Asus Sabertooth x79 / 4930k @ 4500 @ 1.408v / Gigabyte WF 2080 RTX / Corsair VG 64GB @ 1866 & AX1600i & H115i Pro @ 2x Noctua NF-A14 / Carbide 330r Blackout

Scarlett 2i2 Audio Interface / KRK Rokits 10" / Sennheiser HD 650 / Logitech G Pro Wireless Mouse & G915 Linear & G935 & C920 / SL 88 Grand / Cakewalk / NF-A14 Int P12 Ex
AOC 40" 4k Curved / LG 55" OLED C9 120hz / LaCie Porsche Design 2TB & 500GB / Samsung 950 Pro 500GB / 850 Pro 500GB / Crucial m4 500GB / Asus M.2 Card

Right now, for the money, this is good advice.  I'm not sure how all of your different workflows and software utilize cores and speed, but the 9900K is a very good combination of both.  It has good flexibility.  The only issue is building a system with it for your price point.

Try this out.

You don't need a ridiculous 850W PSU, and Intel doesn't benefit as much  from fast RAM.

Dropping the price on the mobo quite a bit makes room for a dedicated GPU, which will help out with rendering even if its a weaker one like the RX570
