Asus Z370-E M2 drive problem

LeSauvage

Setup

Motherboard: Asus strix z370-e gaming LGA1151   bios v1802  (latest)

CPU: i7-8700k

RAM: 4x8 gb ddr4 3200mhz corsair vengeance lpx

Drive 1:  Samsung 970 Evo 1TB (MZ-V7E1T0BW)

Drive 2: WD Black PCIe Gen3x4 NVMe SSD (WDS512G1X0C)         link to manufacturer

Drive 3: Samsung 850 EVO 500gb MZ-75E500B/AM
Drive 4-5: 2x  Seagate 4TB Barracuda (ST4000DM004)

I can successfully boot without Drive 2 installed on the motherboard. Once I install this drive into the m2_2 slot, it won't boot into bios. I can see the prompt screen that ask me to press F2 or DEL, but nothing happens.

As far as I can see, my motherboard should support the drive.

Here is my motherboard manual: Asus z370-e gaming manual

Could someone help me?

It does appear that your board supports NVMe drives in both M.2 slots, if you put the Samsung drive in the m2_2 slot and he western digital drive in the m2_1 slot does the issue still persist? Which drive is your boot drive and what does the bios show as the boot order
