Mics not picking up audio into audacity

New to podcasting. We have a 4 channel mixer from harbinger and our mics are akg p120s and we are using audacity. Everything is set up but our mics audio is not showing up in audacity. We thought only 1 mic wasnt working then realized all 3 mics audio wasnt being recorded we were just sitting close to the laptop. We need help on how to get our mics audio recorded into audacity. Please use layman's terms we clearly dont know alot about what we are doing.
