Review of CoolerMaster Elite 110 - Mesh Front Version.

Galion

There are 2 variations on this case, a solid aluminum front and a mesh front variant. Otherwise both cases were built the same. This case was designed and offered as an option by "CoolerMaster" in 2014 (mesh version), at a budget priced range of $49.90 back then. (the case is still available via newegg and amazon)

In my opinion this is an amazing case but still had it's flaws. But at it's price the flaws was negligible and understandable. Made from steel alloy and some polymer plastics and weight in at 2.65kg/5.9lb it's got a nice strong sturdy build with good air-flow.

Dimensions( WxHxD) : 260mm X 208mm x 280mm / 10.3 x 8. 2 X 11.1 inches

Advantages

Takes up a small work space.

Liquid cooling capability. (120mm radiator supported)

Excellent air-penetration / air-flow.

Dual super speed USB 3.0

Plenty of storage compatability.

Supports up to 180mm atx psu. (sfx or 140mm psu for better cable management)

Perfect solution for a Lan box or HTPC  builds.

Disadvantages

No megnetic filters for gpu intake.

Only fits mini gpus under 210mm

Experience with product

It was easy to build in and easy to cable manage, for a budget case it has excellent quality.

Things CoolerMaster can improve on

Extend the case to fit gpus up to 250mm.

Remove the drive cage on the gpu side.

Add megnetic filters on vents outsides.

Refine the front mesh.

Update io with dual USB 3.1 and a type C

Attach the io to chassis.

Note :  I would love to see an updated variation of the case, you can even name it CoolerMaster MasterCube C1

Built one for a friend which costed HKD399, interestingly very difficult to find one in stock, while the longer 120, 130 was everywhere and cheaper..

thoughts

the cube is really FAT!!!

works best for semi- modular ATX psu,
