I built this PC around a month ago and wanted to do a little testing. Specs: CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D Cooler: Arctic Liquid Freezer II 360 GPU: Sapphire Nitro+ Radeon RX 7900 XTX MOBO: Gigabyte B650 Aorus Elite AX Memory: Gskill Flare X5 32GB (2x16) 6000MT/s CL30-38-38-96 (EXPO Enabled) PSU: MSI MPG A850G PCIE 5 (80+ Gold 850W) Disclaimer: I know very little about benchmarks, or what is or isn't a good score so I could just be an idiot, I'm just trying to make sure that everything is running properly before my return window closes for all my parts. I decided to download and run Cinebench 2024 and Unigine Heaven. I ran Cinebench first for the GPU and I got, what I believe to be a poor score? I don't know if being lower on the list than a 2070 super is bad...but it SOUNDS bad. These were my test results along with a screenshot of my afterburner near the end of the test. I ran everything stock and I haven't touched any settings for my hardware other than enabling EXPO on my memory. After I ran this test, I noticed I had an update for my GPU drivers in Adrenalin, so I downloaded that, restarted, and tried the run the test again, but now every time I try to run the GPU test, Cinebench just closes. I tried a couple times after a couple restarts and it keeps doing the same thing. I don't know if this is a big issue or not, but I didn't keep trying after that. Next I ran a multi core test for my CPU, with the following results. Again, I don't know if this is good or not but I felt it went ok? The stats on Ryzen Master were fairly constant through the whole test. I took a screenshot towards the middle of the test (shown) and again near the end, but the stats were nearly identical so I didn't post the second screenshot. Finally, I ran Unigine Heaven on both high and ultra. In the first Cinebench GPU test, the speed was around 3100MHz, and in the Unigine test they were fairly steady around 2800MHz. TLDR: I basically just want someone smarter than me to tell me if everything here looks ok, and if not, is there something I can do? I haven't really had any issues gaming so far, but I wasn't sure if there were any hidden symptoms here which might effect me down the road. Either way, I appreciate your time. Thank you

After a long time I finally decided to make my first pc... I used all budget parts coming to around $~800 Ryzen 5 3600 and a 1660 Super... works okay but I made the extremely stupid decision to plug a wrong key m.2/NGFF card into a nvme m.2 port on the motherboard while powered on... I know kinda stupid the computer shutdown automatically and when I turned it on everything worked fine... Then it kept bothering me if I had damaged something and I just didn't know it (PCIE lanes??? the m.2 slot??? etc). Before that I had run Unigine Heaven on like x4 antialiasing and most max settings and everything looked fine. I decided to run heaven again after the unfortunate accident and it looked good but when I bumped it up to x8 anti-aliasing all the grass turned blue. I am unsure why this is and if this is a problem caused by the previous incident (I have attached a photo of the blue grass) 2. is there any way to check what pcie standard (or whatever you call it my gpu is running in) like gen3x16 or gen3x8

Upon trying to launch Unigine Heaven or Valley I'm granted with a "browser_x86.exe" error that reads. "The code execution cannot proceed because MSVCP100.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem." I'm aware that a thread about this has already been made here, but that went unanswered & I need one in order to ever OC the new PC. As of right now I'm still using my old one to log on these forums as I have no idea what that error means so don't trust new build yet. Any ideas on how I can fix this & get on with things?

Hi all, I've never really experimented with overclocking or benchmarking before, and I tried it for the first time yesterday. So after running my first ever benchmark, at stock speeds, I noticed that the Unigine Heaven Benchmark results had the wrong VRAM amount displayed (see attachment). The R9 390 is supposed to have 8gb. I am aware that this won't make a performance difference, but I'm just curious as to why it is displaying this incorrectly. If anyone has the same or a similar issue, or understands why this would be happening, I would love to know! Thanks all Unigine_Heaven_Benchmark_4.0_20161026_2109.html

Trying to overclock my R9 280X and I've increased the core clock and memory clock. The increase is displayed in GPU-Z (its at 1160mhz coreclock and 1600 mhz) but when i run unigine heaven or valley, the GPU core clock and speed read out at 880mhz and 1500mhz. I've tried increasing the voltage too, but that didn't have any effect. Don't worry about if my core clock/memory clock is too high, I just need help with figuring out why my card won't stay over clocked in the bench marks. Motherboard: B350 ASUS STRIX ROG CPU: R5 1500X RAM: 8GB CORSAIR PSU: 600WATTS EVGA Any help is appreciated!

I’m using 1080p and an i5-3450 I’ll be benchmarking at 1440p and with a 6600k very soon, will I see better comparable scores? I'm guessing the 3450 just stops the 1080ti from pushing more frames at 1080p, please correct me if I am wrong. Good day all! MY SPECS: i7 6700 with stock cooler 4x4GB Crucial Ballistix DDR4 2400MHz MSI B150m Mortar EVGA 980ti Hybrid Corsair CX750 750W PSU Windows 10 64 bit MY UNINGINE 4.0 SETTINGS: Resolution = 2560x1440 AA = x8 Tessellation = Extreme Quality = Ultra DX11 V-SYNC = off I recently upgraded my CPU from an i5 6500 to an i7 6700 for better content creation. I immediately booted up Unigine, and ran it with the exact same settings as my previous set up with the i5 and noticed my frame rate was cut in half, and my score tanked by 300 points. With my i5 I was easily hitting the 1500s score-wise when the 980ti was at stock, and then would reach the 1600s when overclocked. I was seeing frame rates usually as high as 130-140fps. With the i7 in, the max frame rate is usually below 75fps, and my new score at stock is in the 1300s, while overclocking with the same values as previously used pushes my score into the 1400s. Neither the CPU nor the GPU are thermal throttling, as the CPU levels off usually in the high 60s, and the GPU caps at 61*C. I tried reinstalling Uningine, fooling around in motherboard settings to see if there was something I missed, and updating my drivers. However none of my actions have fixed this issue. In games I have not noticed any decrease in quality, and some improvements FPS wise.

After weeks of testing I came to the conclusion that +140 on the core & +700 on my 3GB GTX 1060 Gaming X with voltage & power limit set to max was the best stable choice. At these settings it stayed locked at 2050Mhz on the core & 4705Mhz Memory for 5+ hours in Unigine Heaven & Valley. Whenever I tried to add more than +140 the 2063 & higher clocks were never steadily maintained for an extended period, even with fans keeping the card under 62C. Either I'd hit power limit of 1 & the card would significantly throttle down to 1800s or it'd just gradually drop the 2050 I came to accept. Now however after finally testing this OC in my main game RuneScape, I'm seeing core clocks regularly hit 2075Mhz while running around. 1: Should I be concerned about running it at this higher than tested clock speed? 2: Should I simply just play the game at this OC for a week or month & if it's okay then don't worry about it?

I'm trying to run some random bench marks to compare my GTX970, and my future GTX1070 on a new 4k display using Unigine. This is probably a stupid question, but how do i benchmark Unigine Valley/Heaven in 4k? The max resolution it gives me the option for is 2560x1440 (for 16:9). Any help is appreciated!

What is the average Unigine Heaven Benchmark for GTX 1080s? I recently tested my PC and started wondering if its good or bad for a GTX 1080 asus rog strix. Would love to see others score, especially with recent drivers as I feel like my GTX 1080 got a performance increase since the last time I used Unigine Heaven Benchmark.

So, I know there are probably a million threads about this, but I feel like my Asus 1080 is underperforming compared to the scores I have seen. I am getting ,on average, roughly 2400 in the 1080p setting on unigine, and roughly 1600 on the 1440p setting. My friend has an OC’ed 1070 and hits pretty close to my scores. Specs: GPU: Asus Advanced edition 1080 (Running at 1835mhz) CPU: Ryzen 1600X (Base Clock) Memory: 16GB G Skill Trident Z 3200Mhz Mobo: Asus B350-F Note: My temps stay around 50-60

Can anyone give me some suggestions for making sure my GPU overclock is rock solid? Obviously crashing is an indicator it isn't stable and obvious artifacts also, but what about other things I may not be able to notice with the naked eye? I am currently using MSI Kombustor to run the FurMark Donut and I have it scanning for artifacts and am looking for suggestions for other free programs to use. I also run Unigine Superposition a lot and some Unigine Heaven. CS:GO and Rocket League all seem fine too. This all stems from the overclock I have on my memory seeming a little too good to be true and it makes me worry there is something wrong that I am not seeing.

I can't seem to get Valley or Heaven to open, as I always get this error: I've been going around online to try to solve this, but to no avail. I've tried everything, including reinstalling the program (at least 6 times now), DirectX, .NET Framework, and Visual C++ Redist. All my drivers are up to date, and I've even tried reinstalling Windows (I had to anyway). So now I'm just completely lost. If anyone could tell me if I'm missing anything, I would really appreciate it. Thanks!

So, heaven stutters the same way on 2 different computers even if I don't have a CPU or GPU overclock enabled. One system has a gtx 1080 and an i7 4790k overclocked to 4.7. The other has a gtx 1070 and an i5 4690k overclocking to 4.7. I thought it was my OC at first, but it seems to happen no matter what I do. Will the fact that I'm using a 60hz monitor cause this since the frame rates in unigine heaven go really high and my monitor can only handle 60fps? I'm not noticing the same issue in superposition.

Hey all, I plan on overclocking my GPU for the first time in a couple of weeks and was therefore doing some research on the subject. Upon said research I decided to download a couple of stress tests, including unigine's Heaven and Valley benchmarking tools. I had previously used Valley on another PC so I know how it works, but on this PC for some reason, when trying to start up Heaven or Valley, I get the same crash and error code: "Windows cannot find 'browser_x86.exe'. Verify that you have entered the name correctly, then try again" However, when checking inside the bin folder, I can confirm that the 'browser_x86.exe' is present in both Valley and Heaven. The screenshot below (excuse my French) is of me trying to start Heaven, which is exactly what it looks like when I try to boot valley as well. Grateful for any advice you may have, Harold

Hi, I'm hoping someone can help me with this please. I recently did a full format and reinstall of my OS (Win7 x64). Everything is now installed and up to date, yet, when I install and try to run Unigine Valley and Heaven, I receive an error on startup: "Windows cannot find 'browser_x86'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, then try again". I've tried 3 uninstalls and reinstalls of both apps, doing complete shutdowns in between, and I've checked in the install folders and 'browser_x86' is present as it should be, yet it fails to launch every time. Anyone got any ideas as I've used both these apps pretty much since they released and I've never experienced an issue, so I'm stumped Appreciate the help.

I was wondering if anyone can confirm if these are artifacts i'm seeing in these videos of unigine heaven and firestrike or are they normal? My gpu displays the same things at stock so I believe it may be defective. First are the firestrike examples: (At around 0:18 you see a flickering "artifact" on the left side under the drone) (Same thing here around 0:44 same spot to a lesser degree) I've seen some other firestrike benchmarks where this doesn't happen so it makes me suspicious. Next is Unigine Heaven: (Starting at 7:47 you will see 2 blurry ripples race from the right side to the left and around 7:56 on the stone platform the dragon sits on you will see a piece missing from it allowing you to see through it) (Same here starting at 1:38 and missing piece at 1:45) With Unigine I have yet to find a video where these 2 "artifacts" don't happen and the ripple seems to display in varying degrees. EDIT: Can people who have stable overclocks or stock clocks actually run the two benchmarks and reply if these events actually happen to them?

Hey i just got my new gtx 980 (refernce zotac) and the thing is running like a beast but i cant get it to work in unigine valley/heaven (it always starts valley/heaven and after a sec it stops and clocks the gpu down to factory) when getting over 1400 MHz while its sitting on an under 70 degrees and using never more then 114% power usage (using msi afterburner) in furmark for example its running just fine... could it just need more voltage??? am is stupid or is it some unigine problem???

Hello LinusTechPros, Fx 8320 @ 4.4 Ghz 2x R9 280x Crossfire Factory OC 1020/1500 Gigabyte 990fx-a UD3 Revision 4 12GB RAM 850w Corsair Anyway, Last week I ran Unigine 4.0 and got this. This was with beta 14.3 drivers. This week I literally did nothing except update my via USB 3.0 drivers (VIA_XHCI_Driver_V4.50A_AP) because they were utilizing 13% CPU at all times, even idle. After I patched that the cpu back to 1-2% usage at desktop. So I decided to run Heaven again to see what happens. To my surprise, my FPS plummeted from 70.5, to around 58. Same exact settings, same exact drivers. So I tried downgrading to catalyst 13.11 and get the exact same results. The kicker? I get even more min fps, but still get a lower score and FPS overall. WTF is going on? Is one of my cards dying? Was heaven 4.0 glitching up because my CPU was using 13% at all times. Why did it make results worse? Help is greatly appreciated kind sirs. Thank you.
