As a buyer from Scan for a while with them having a very different webpage it is weird for them to have only recently updated their website. Personally I quite like the change but it will take some time to get used to it. New Look: https://www.scan.co.uk/ Old Look: If you live in UK and use Scan too what are your thoughts and opinions?

SO I downloaded a GTA V "free" online and let it install on my mac book air 2013 13 inch ( i know something longer, WHOAOAOAOA) and it has taken up so much of my space and I dont know where to delete it from. I let it download to my desktop but its not there because I didn't put in an activation key. So somehow the files are still there taking up space but I dont have the game. Does anyone know where I can delete them from to free up space on my laptop. Also, this is my school laptop so I really need help!!! P.S. for people who have seen my last posts I have built my pc and its really cool. I might post pics. Thanks, PLS HELP ME

So I've lately decided that I'm going to buy a smaller case and since the space where i keep my PC is limited (i have a z9 neo that barely fits in height) I've decided for an mATX case. My requirements are: - CPU cooler height of minimum 160mm (more is better) - Price isn't a big deal as long as it's below 150-200 euros - As small as possible, but with the ability to have fairly long GPUs - Tempered glass (duh) and dust filters atleast in front and for PSU - PSU shroud and preferably good airflow (front opened) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ My top picks right now are the define c mini (flaw: front io is connected to the panel) and the h400/h400i (flaw: is quite big for mATX)

First time asking a question on a forum, please be gentle... So I bought a zotac 1070 mini secondhand, because it was a good deal. After installing the card and updating the drivers, I optimized nvidia control panel and windows for performance and ran a few benchmarks. I ran the userbenchmark for a quick and easy overview of the card, seeing the 25th percentile and 'good' 72% listed...im confused. Shouldn't the card be scoring atleast slightly better than my other components? Is 25th percentile something I should be concerned about? My hdd and ram will be upgraded so ignore those results for now, my concern is the gpu...unless they affect the gpu score. Pictures are provided Tnx

I am looking into upgrading my graphics card. I currently have a GTX 780 and it's on an amd 8350 CPU and Asus motherboard. I am going to upgrade my other components later when I have the money but for now I just want a good gpu for my system that's not gonna break the bank and it must be Nvidia. I am looking to play 1080p games and hope to play all new titles at Max graphics setting. I can sacrifice some AA setting and other small impact on graphics settings but I want the games to look as good as possible. Thanks guys!

Basically, i dont know what is going on with my pc over the past 3 weeks its just become more and more unstable. The rundown is, when i play a game it can be any game, ill get a sudden drop in fps and internet lag (these seem to be connected), i know its not my internet lagging me im getting on average 50 down and 21 up. i have checked all my thermals on the mobo gpu cpu and my hard drives, and theyre all normal even when under load. I have done a stress test on the cpu to see if it was somehow throttling to see if the issue was with the cpu and nope everything checked out fine. i have attached 2 short clips of cs;go mainly because you can see the fps and internet ping together and its just easier (keep your eyes on the "fps" the "var" next to the fps the ping and the "sv") as i said earlier it seems that my fps dropping and the lag spikes are somehow connected. my specs are cpu- i5-4460 @ 3.20GHz gpu- palit gtx 1060 3gb ram- 2 x 4gb crucial @ 1333mhz if you guys could help me, that woulds be fantastic Counter-strike Global Offensive 2018.07.02 - 20.14.56.01TrimTrim (2).mp4 Counter-strike Global Offensive 2018.07.02 - 20.14.56.01TrimTrim.mp4

Hey guys, just wanted to ask a simple question. Do you know of any game like game dev tycoon, but instead of developing games you make pc hardware components? I couldn't find anything online, but I think it would be a good idea as you could design somthing like a chip based on tdp, nm process, core count etc. or a case with optional extras like cable management grommets and 2.5/3.5/5.25 inch slots.

Yesterday at night I encountered an interesting problem. To begin with: I am using a deepcool aio, in which pump is near it's lifespan (it can be easily heard sometimes, cause it's being relatively loud and much louder than it used to be) So here is a problem: suddenly, after I shut down my PC the pump starts working, while PC is turned off and none of the LEDs shine. I know this exactly because it always runs loud when this happens. It even continues after I unplug PC from the wall. Any ideas WTF is happening and, if possible, any solutions?

So my Cyberpower PC is about 5 years old. I am pretty sure the watercooler reservoir is dried up by now. I upgraded my PSU, RAM, and my GPU and that is about it. I know my expectations need to managed with the amount of expendable cash I have. I was going to hold off until Tax Refund time but I am had some scares restarting my computer recently. It is running smoothly now but I just want to play my games without anymore worry until next year. I would like to keep my existing replaced items to save money but the power supply is not modular and is a cabling nightmare. I also have no experience building my own PC as I had this built, obviously by CyberpowerPC. That being said here are my specs and I will take a pick of my monstrosity for the morbidly curious. Do PC benchmarks produce subjective or objective results? I know this has been a topic of great debate for decades but we all have a solid understanding on sweet spot hardware or extreme hardware and what they'll allow you to do in your games.

Hello All, My first post but I figured as good a time as any since lately I've been thinking alot about how to upgrade my mediocre machine. My current specs are: AMD A10 5800K APU Corsair XMS3 2x4GB 1600MHz RAM MSI FM2-A75MA-E35 Mobo ULTRA X-Finity 500 Watt PSU Cooler Master TC101B Mid ATX Case twin 320GB 7200RPM Sata II HDDs 2TB 5900RPM Sata III HDD Lately I've been contemplating an upgrade but am not sure what to do first. The case is a little on the small side but I have been noticing I am reaching the limits of AMD's stock CPU cooler, not quite the point where I am having any real issues. The graphics in the APU are decent but I'd definitely like better. I am a gamer but am comfortable with playing games on low settings. My question is: What part of my rig would YOU upgrade first?
