This is my first post, I'm a long time LTT fan but never a forum user, but this issue drove me to create an account just to post about the radio silence I've gotten from Carl Pei's new venture into the smartphone world I got the Nothing Phone (1) on release day as I had been tracking it with interest and my old One Plus Nord just happened to break a few days before the release, I received the Phone (1) on the 27th of July and was pretty impressed however thought it seemed very fragile, well it seems my fears were correct, I dropped the phone from a small height, less than a foot, and the entire back glass (Under which lies the phones big USP) smashed and the phone itself also now has a slight bend. This happened on the 2nd of August and I immediately created a support ticket as this is how you are supposed to initiate an RMA, after a week of hearing nothing back at all except for the email to confirm that my ticket had been created, I created yet another ticket requesting the same thing and mentioning how I hadn't heard anything back yet. It's now been another 2 days and still have not heard anything from either tickets. On top of this the phone itself is apparently extremely difficult to repair even if you can manage to find the very very limited spare parts that are out there. I'm super disappointed with this process so far and was just wondering if anyone has had any similar issues so far or could help in any way. Thanks, Andrew

Still going strong on my 5 year old LG V30. Keeps up with usage on a lazy day but is showing its age. If I get any more usage time than 8h (that's usage not screen on time) in a single charge I've been conservative. It's worn out with massive burn in to the point where I've even received a message from my carrier that they're shutting down 3G and I'm on such an old phone, they've given me a 25% discount on any new phone on top of existing discounts. So let's say I do get a new phone. Have you seen the market? All boring phones that look exactly the same as one another with meaninglessly powerful specs that I feel are more often a detriment to how well it functions rather than enhancing the experience. 120Hz screen on a phone for what? Just so the 3 seconds that I look at what the time is is super smooth? So that when I record a video the camera stats come back to me at 120fps even though I'll be recording the video at 30fps? Silly. That's the same if the car industry put launch control on a front wheel drive 1.0L VW UP. That's like buying a 3090ti just to play CSGO/Valorant on a 1080p 60hz monitor... My rant out of the way, the only 2 phones that have even remotely peaked my interest are the Pixel 6a and Nothing phone (1). With Google I can kind of know what to expect. Good software and long-term software support. I hope. I've heard Pixel 6 had a ton of bugs that turned people away and lost a lot of users but you think Google will have fixed most of them by the time Pixel 6a comes out? Shame 1080p, no headphone jack and even worse no wireless charging. For such a huge 6.1" phone to have such a low resolution screen really is a turn off. Have either a small phone with 1080p or a big 6.1" phone with 1440p. Worst of both worlds. And then there's the new kid on the block. The Nothing phone. Specs wise I'm satisfied. Shame it's also a ginormous at 6.55" with the same low resolution 1080p screen at least it has wireless charging. Size to screen is even worse here. The question is what is their plan with OS and software support? The same 2 years of updates and then abandon like most of the industry does? Anyone know how their custom OS is gonna work? Closer to vanilla android, something bloated like Sony's old android or a disgusting imitation of IOS like Honor used to do. I've always jumped ship and dove into the deep ends with every new android phone I've gotten and the last 8/10 android phones I've used it's been a good purchase. Which one should I look forwards to the most? Or is there some other phone anyone can recommend that I should keep an eye out for too?

the System worked normally, then an upgrade was performed, removing the motherboard and old processor, then the upgrade was installed, the i5 11400F and MSI B560M Pro-e, so when turning on the computer, it doesn't show any sign of life, it doesn't light up no system led, no P.O.S.T LED, no fan spins, no sign of life, Before this motherboard and processor were installed in this system, they were in another system that used an RTX 3060 TI that uses PCI 4.0, in the system current the RX 570 Uses PCI 3.0, so a BIOS Reset was done, removing the battery and holding the two terminals to reset the bios, but still no sign of life in the system, before being mounted on the current system, tests were done and the CPU Kit and Motherboard worked perfectly, I wanted your suggestions of what could be the problem -Tested with only 1 sitck of ram -Tested PSU power on Last System: Intel core i3 9100 H310 Ram: 2x8gb ballistix DDR4 2666 Mhz Gpu: SAPPHIRE RX 570 4GB Ssd: kingspec M.2 256gb Fonte: Corsair CX650 W Actual System: Intel core i5 11400F MSI B560M Pro-E Ram: 2x8gb ballistix DDR4 2666 Mhz Gpu: SAPPHIRE RX 570 4GB Ssd: kingspec M.2 256gb Fonte: Corsair CX650 W "Donor" System for the Kit CPU MOBO: Intel core i5 11400F MSI B560M Pro-E Ram: 2x8gb DDR4 3000Mhz Gpu: RTX 3060 Ti Ssd: M.2 PCI 512GB 463806056_WhatsAppVideo2022-11-09at21_07_32.mp4

Here's what you are dealing with. Mid game i.e. Cs Go or Overwatch I'll be playing solid over 100 fps overkill for a 60hz monitor so I cap it at 90 just to keep temps down and not overrun anything for no reason. Out of nowhere without opening any programs or nothing new showing up on task manager the fps will drop to 6-7 fps and that's it, it becomes a slideshow out of nowhere. Now I know what you are running to, the temps on both my CPU and GPU do not spike and keep at like 30C. The memory cap doesn't fill on either ram or Vram so we're good there. Complete parts list below, no software updated or changed prior to this issue so it's not a new update or driver issue. No programs installed anywhere near this. In addition, I ran malware bytes and defender not the best but just wanted to try to rule out viruses. The only thing that can fix it is a restart which is strange because you would figure at that point it's a memory cap issue of some sort but there is no indication when watching the VRAM and ram charts that it hits any allocation cap. All other programs still run fine during this I can still manage to watch a video and have excellent ping on the in-game server its literally the hardware. Yes, it pushes the CPU and GPU to full capacity but that's usual. Trying to turn down the graphical settings does nothing and has made it worse while not touching the frame rate it just stays at 6-8 fps. Parts: Cpu i5 4670k OC@ 4.2 Ghz stable for a year at the overclock Cooler Hyper 212 Evo pretty standard GPU EVGA 750ti Ftw not high end but always ran games on medium-high settings at 1080p with pretty high frame rate Motherboard Asus Z87- pro Power Supply Cooler master M2 silent pro 620W (slightly overkill I know it was cheaper than less dw) 4 case fans 2 stock 2 cooler master Case: Corsair vengeance c70 arctic white Hoping to hear some advice as to what I can do. Thanks for your time in advance I'll be on frequently if you need any additional information from me I tried to cover the basics. Good luck because I am clueless

It was working fine then i took in on a plane (I moved country) And i bubble wrapped everything. but obv something broke. I also have 2 brothers and i know both of them would be happy to let me try their parts, but they have LGA 1151 CPU sockets so i can't try MB (I have a i7-5820k MSI x99a Raider AMD HD 6600 (Could be something wrong with this one had to buy it after my gpu failed) Cooler master 750W Corsair H60i Crucial ballistix 16GB DDR4-2400) And help would be appreciated.

So I was playing csgo with a friend when suddenly it froze the screen went green and then it turned off. when I tried turning it on again it did nothing, no fans, no hard drive, no LEDs nothing. I have tested the PSU and that works fine as when I use a paper clip the fans spin etc. I have tried shorting the power button, i have tried unplugging all periferals, usbs and internal connections. I have tried rebuilding the entire computer but all with no success. It might be the CPU overheating but it never really gets ridiculously hot max 70 degrees when it crashed the inside of the case was warm but not that hot. Any ideas would be helpful!! The Story : So currently the Thermaltake Urban T81 comes pre-installed with 3 x 200mm Fans. Included Case Fan : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835106224 What To Do : I was thinking of buying High Static Pressure fans for all the fan mounts but that came out way to expensive ($95 - $105 +) The other option is to re-use my Enermax fans Enermax Fan : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835214043&cm_re=enermax_cluster-_-35-214-043-_-Product (3 x 120mm as front intake / 2 x 120mm bottom intake / 1 x 120mm back exhaust / 2 x Stock 200mm top exhaust) or should I use the stock setup and add one more 200mm exhaust fan & 2 x 120/140mm bottom intake : (2 x 200mm front intake / 2 x 200mm top exhaust / 2 x 120/140mm bottom intake) or last option : Replace all 200mm fans with higher quailty 200mm fans & 2 high quality 120/140mm fans. Recommendation : What would you guys recommend? Let me know! Thank you.

Has Samsung finally realized they are clueless when it comes to smart watches? It is a bold strategy, lets see if Samsung actually follows through and starts releasing watches that aren't half baked and cobbled together just to include every feature there is and not consider the actual usage of their devices. Then again, Samsung launched their watches off the bat with only Samsung phone compatibility in mind, the first mistake in the history of mistakes they like to make. That never made much sense to me. A niche device for a niche set of phones instead of all the phones so they could've actually had decent penetration. But oh well, lets hope they come back with something thats more G Watch R than Gear. http://blogs.wsj.com/digits/2015/03/01/samsungs-novel-smartwatch-strategy-dont-release-anything/

Hi, I recently built my first computer, and have almost had it for a month now, and I love it, but I might have done something stupid. I put my computer to sleep in windows 8 and it crashed without any error or message. It just turned itself off. When I tried to boot it up again, i heared a clicking noise( probably the stock cpu cooler from Intel. Still waiting for my water cooling kit), the fans started spinning for half a second, but then nothing happened. Is this a known problem? If so, is it easy to fix? I tried clearing the Cmos a few times, removed gpu, put the RAM in different slots, unplugged all peripherals, but still the same problem. I can't even get something on my display. The problem is, I don't have any spare computer parts just laying around, so I can't really check whats the problem. I use my computer a lot, so I hope for some quick responses -Koen van Eck Computer specs: Asus z97 Maximus VII Formula Intel Core i5-4690k @ 3,5Ghz (stock) HyperX Fury DDR3 1866Mhz 16Gb kit (2x8Gb) Asus GeForce ROG Matrix 780Ti 3Gb (stock) Samsung SSD 840 Evo 250Gb Corsair RM850, 850W Additional notes: I'm going on vacation and won't be able to do anything with my computer until i return. Any ideas on what is happening and how to fix it are still appreciated. Thanks.

me and my best bud wish to build a steam machine. we only need to get a cpu, mobo and ram as we have all other necessary components. i am going to build a custom case for it. what cpu, mini itx mobo and ram do you recommend we get? current components: 550w psu. amd 6870 1tb sshd we are not looking for a beast that can run metro at 4k, we just need to be able to play most games at medium /low setting as it will mostly be used as a streaming box. WiFi build into mobo would be nice to have also thanks.

My Samsung Galaxy s3 is using up a bunch of ram even though there are no apps running. I downloaded android task killer and stopped all the apps i could, yet I still only had around 400MB free of the 1.5gb on the device! If anyone has some tips, or could tell me if this is just happening to me that would be nice. The phone heats up easily and lags on games like temple run so I am feeling very disappointed in it. My brother has a nexus 4 and it does not lag or heat up as easily, so idk.

I have rooted and installed TWRP (Team Win Recovery Project) and FFF (FireFireFire) and the Google GO Launcher on my Kindle Fire. Then I used it for a few months. All of a sudden at random it would keep shutting down and booting in TWRP. I messed around seeing what I could do and then out of nowhere I went to shut it down and I get a horrible message! There is no OS installed are you sure you want to reboot? I had no recovery and no OS and nothing. So I look up a few things on the internet and decided to flash the old stock OS on it. I did so and it took off TWRP and FFF and EVERYTHING the worst part is that I STILL don't have an OS. It will just show the stock Orange Kindle Fire logo on it. I'm not sure what I did to it! If you need anymore information about my problem please just ask. I'm willing to tell you anything that you need to know. Thanks for all the help you give me!
