Prepare to hear the strangest computer issue ever. This is a custom-built PC (see specs below). I have been dealing with this issue for a couple of years now. It started after I updated from Windows 10 to Windows 11 (about a year after being built). Randomly, my computer will hard freeze. Whatever is on the screen will freeze in place until the computer is hard powered off. There is no blue screen. When booting the computer back up no dump file is created, despite how much I have messed with settings trying to get it to do so. There are no errors or even warnings in the event viewer for at least the 10 minutes leading up to the freeze. There is no pattern as to when it happens, I have had it happen while using the computer as well as when the computer is idle. Sometimes it will happen a few hours after the PC has been booted, and other times it can go several days before freezing. Now comes the really strange part, and this has been consistent after all of the troubleshooting I have done already (listed below), if I have a Minecraft server running on the computer it will not freeze. I have tested with other programs running on the computer that actively use memory, network, etc. still freezes. If I am running server.jar though, it can go a couple of months and not freeze, at which point I restart the computer myself, because uptime. I want to think that its a hardware issue except for the fact that it is fine while running a Minecraft server... What I have tried: -Backup and restore via image-based backups. -Fresh install Windows 10 -Fresh install Windows 11 -Reseat RAM -Reseat CPU -Reseat GPU -Replace Hard drive (tried sata ssd and nvme.) -reset bios -update bios -update graphics drivers -different keyboard -different monitors -new add-on nic (since removed to use with another computer) Computer Specs: OS: Microsoft Windows 11 Pro Type: 64-bit MB: MEG X570 UNIFY (MS-7C35) CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 3900x GPU: NVIDIA MSI GeForce RTX 2080 Ti Gaming X Trio RAM: G.Skill Trident Z Royal 64 GB (4 x 16 GB) DDR4-3600 PSU: CORSAIR - RMx Series 1000W ATX12V 2.4/EPS12V 2.92 80 Plus Gold Drive 1 (boot drive): WD Black SN850X 1TB Drive 2 (Data drive): Samsung 860 EVO 2TB Drive 3 (Virtual Memory/swapfile): NVMe SK Hynix 512GB TLDR: The computer freezes randomly with no trace afterward of what happened, except when running a Minecraft server(I have no freaking idea).

Hi, my computer is getting restarted randomly without any error or bsod. In event viewer log i get the following error tagged as "Critical" Error: Event ID: 6008 (The previous system shutdown at 9:33:33 PM on ‎8/‎14/‎2020 was unexpected) Critical: Event ID : 41 (The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly.) Any help would be appreciated alot because im totally blind what to diagnose in this regard. Thanks EDIT: I just noticed if i do any demanding tasks it restarted. I remember when it restarted. 1. when i played a 4K video on youtube 2. When i load a new Scene in Unreal Engine 4 This unreal engine 4 scene is a must restart thing, even if i do it now my pc will restart. When did it start and other problems My 3-year-old PC has been acting weirdly recently. First, it got weird graphic glitches that have been here since February I think, but that seems to have been solved with my very recent Windows reset (yesterday). Recent Reboot. Ever since a couple of weeks ago, my PC has been rebooting out of nowhere. No error message on Mobo, no blue screen, not under load, just a force reset when browsing or doing anything. Troubleshooting I have reset windows, reinstalled all drivers including BIOS, installed a new CPU cooler (it was too hot for comfort with the stock cooler). What to do now? I believe that this makes me think it is a hardware problem? I recently changed case and have now, today after my most recent crash, unplugged my Case power button if that maybe was the problem. If this doesn't help I want help with what hardware that could be causing this. Here are my thoughts: PSU, mine is 3 years old and only 80+ standard (check specs below) Motherboard, it did get some cables stuck under it and might maybe (very unlikely) have scratched the underside of it? Malfunctioning Graphics card. I have recently had trouble with 2 monitors but it seems odd to have this caused a forced restart of the PC Help Do you think I got this right, or do you have any other suggestions on what could be the cause of this force restarting issue? Hi, I just built my new pc with specs : i7 8700k @ 4.5ghz on all cores corsair h115i pro rgb gtx 1080ti fe g skill ripjaws v 16gb(2x8) ddr4 3000mhz ram asrock z370 taichi samsung 860 evo 500gb ssd coolermaster v650 fully modular 80+ gold nzxt h700 windows 10 pro 64 bit So the problem here is sometimes my games crash to desktop without any error msg! I googled my problem and no matter what I tried games still crash! I thought it was my cpu so I oc to 4.5 from 4.7 and still this problem occurs. My temps seem fine. I don't know what I am doing wrong PLEASE HELP ME !!!!

So my windows wont activate even if i click activate windows when i wanted to check the error code it's blank

My pc for the last few weeks hads been locking up at random interveals reqiring me to hard reset. However once back into windows theres no error message in the reliability information. This last time it frooze I hard reset and booted only to a black screen. Hard reset againb and it booted up. Any ideas? Im thinking maybe connection between hdd and mobo? Hi guys. I am having a problem where my pc after a while and i am not sure what causes the problem sometimes it happens when i start playing games but even when i watch videos on youtube. The pc starts to lag , than it freezes and screen goes black and when i am playing a game the sound freezes too and stops. The computer is still running , no shutdown or restart until i do it manually, With no errors or warnings. I dont know if its an hardware issue( probably HDD) or software (virus , bu thats unlikely i scanned the shit out of it) I am running Windows 8.1 64bit CPU: AMD Phenom II 1100t X6 GPU: nVidia GTX 560 Cooling: 2x Noctua NF-p12 120mm fans Corsair H80i (closed water cooling) HDD: 1x 250 Gb 1x 1000 Gb Motherboard: ASRock m3n78D PSU: Cooler master 620W Ram: Kingston 8 Gigs DDr3 (4x2) Any advice will be helpfull , thanks in advance.

Hi, I'm new to the forum and I need help on a problem that's driving me nuts. In case it might help here are some specs that might be relevant: i5-3570k (with Cooler Master Hyper 212EVO), Maximus V Gene, Gigabyte GTX 660 OC 2GB, Corsair TX650 PSU, Samsung 840 SSD and a WD Caviar Black hard drive. It's about a month now that the computer randomly and suddently shuts down like someone pulled the plug, then after a couple of seconds it turns on automatically and loads windows like nothing happened. No error message, no nothing. I overclocked the components but that's not the problem (both because it's been overclocked since a long time before this problem occurred and because I tried removing every overclock). How random is it? you might ask... well, sometimes it doesn't happen for days and days, sometimes once or twice a day, and some other times it shuts down every couple of minutes (I had to write this post quite a few times thanks to this issue). Still, I haven't found a pattern to these crashes... It can happen while I'm watching a YT video, a minute after starting any game, or on anytime on idle. It's not even a heat problem... I might play hours of BF4 or run Prime95 and not have this problem (and temps are really low, about 33°C on idle and 55-60°C @ 100% and 4.3GHz). The only thing I have not tried out yet it's formatting the drives, cause I'm not sure it can be a software issue and frankly I have no time right now (I prefer not to anyway) That's why I'm asking you guys, I hope you can help me. I apologize if my English is not perfect (I'm from Italy), that's the best I can do.
