So, I Can’t Boot PUBG Because It Restarts My Computer Everytime Before I Get To The Main Menu & I Play A lot Of DayZ But Recently I Played A New Server & Boom Restarted My Whole Computer After 20 Mins Of Being In! I Don’t Have A Clue What Is Wrong Or How To Fix This, I Have A Error Message On My Event Viewer Which Is Critical & Is A Kernel Power 41 Error, I Researched Online To Find Out It Could Be A PSU Issue Or A OS Issue But Again I Don’t Have A Clue If It Is Or Where To Begin To Diagnose A Problem Like This, Its Only These 2 Games That Do This, I’ve Formatted My Drives I Keep My Games On & Reinstalled So Many Times I’ve Lost Count, I Went Online To A Parts Checker I Believe & It Said That My Parts Make Up 408w Combined & I Have A 350w Corsair PSU In My System So I’m Guessing Its A PSU Issue, Any Thoughts? Am I Right? Am I Wrong? I’ll Take Anything Right Now As I’m Struggling To Find Anything Right, Please Help Me

I just installed the 7900xtx, so far so good, except for when im playing rocket league. Every minute or so it completely stops for half a second, and fps goes to 14, until its stable 300 again. (Sometimes there are stutters in other games, similar to this, but never as extreme) I used to have similar drops with my last gpu (5700xt), but not this severe. Does anyone have any idea what could help? Ive tried reformatting windows and updating drivers, but nothing seems to work. PC specs: GPU: 7900xtx CPU: 5800x3d MOBO: rog 450 F gaming PSU: 750W gold, dont remember the type (pretty new, should be good) RAM: TridentZ 16GB 3200MHz I cant see anything being wrong when i have HWmonitor open during the stutters, wattage is around 300-400 max and nothing is going 100%. Ive attached images of the ingame graph if that helps, sometimes the GPU graph spikes, sometimes it doesnt. ANY help would be appreciated very much

Hello, forum I currently have a problem with my new PC, which is running single 16 GB RAM Stick (new ones on the way), because the other stick was seemingly a bad stick. (read below for long explanation) The PC as stated has 16 GB 5600 MHz in it currently, but i have an issue of it using so much RAM. Out of the 16 GB, its almost always at 90% utilisation or around 15GB usage. But i dont understand how thats possible when i cant find the cause. I found windows to be using in the systems eyes 30-40% of my RAM, but that aparently in systems eyes translates to 800-1500 MB???? The PC works, but games has understandebly been affected by the PC deepthroating it self with RAM... I could really use some assistence. Although i am hoping its gonna be fixed with new RAM. Full story: So TDLR. I wasted so much time and efford. troubleshooting MB when RAM was most likely the only issue. But now my PC is eating ram like it was candy and there was no tomorrow.

Specs: Motherboard: ASUS Z97-P GPU: GTX 950 RAM: 2x8gb DDR3 Corsair Vengeance PSU: Alpine 850W What happened: I followed a Youtube tutorial to Clone my windows using macrium reflect https://youtu.be/CHCENfs87F4 ^^^^ the exact video. So I followed along all fine and actually got windows on my SSD as it booted much faster than my HDD, but then the video continues on to show how to now wipe the old hard drive completely using the command prompt, so I follow along and wipe my disk 0, the hard drive or what i’m nearly sure was my hard drive, because if i wiped my SSD surely windows would’ve died then and there right? so then I go into macrium reflect Pre Environment (i think, i have a USB that i can access the drives with) and find the drives and try and boot from the SSD, this is where everything goes wrong, I get an instant blue screen windows error in super low res. Then, I try and do some normal trouble shooting and can’t get past the bios or PE really, but eventually i got to where i am now. The PC now wont let me past the UEFI BIOS splash screen, the only thing I have found that i’m able to do is as soon as the PC starts, I can press CTRL + ALT + DEL and it restarts itself, but when the BIOS screen has been up for more than a few seconds, it completely freezes control of anything Solutions tried: resat RAM removed and reinstalled CMOS battery removed GPU and got display straight from the motherboard

Minecraft is a game that I have been playing for years, almost 8 to be exact. (Started in May or June of 2014.) I have had my ups and downs with Minecraft, like not playing for months, and playing every single day. Now, he’s the review for a game lol. THE PROS (and the Legacy) Oh boy, where do I begin. For starters, I found out about Minecraft from my sister, and I used to have 2 versions of it. Minecraft PE, (Pocket Edition) and Minecraft PE Lite. If you know what MCPE Lite is, you’re a legend. I fell in love with the game right when I got it. It gave me so much freedom to build whatever I wanted, and I love Legos, so this game was perfect. I built anything from a small house to an entire city with an island. I loved how back when Microsoft didn’t make everything need an account, I joined servers with no account and played some Hunger Games and obstacle courses. Minecraft will forever be in my heart as the game that really staples my childhood. (Also I watched a lot of Stampylonghead. Shoutout to the people who know him.) But, with every review, there is a downside. THE CONS (Pretty minor lol) Ok, so I don’t have the most money, but Minecraft costs $6.99. But that’s not all. Since that Microsoft controls Minecraft, there is something called Minecoins and it’s basically a currency for Minecraft. (Kinda like Robux or V-Bucks.) You can buy maps, skin-packs, etc. But, the coins do cost real money and to get Minecoins, you need a Microsoft account. I don’t have one, so no maps for me, yay! (I’m not bothered to make one lol.) There is another issue. Minecraft YT. It used to be Stampy Cat, iBallisticSquid, L for Lee, DanTDM, etc. Now it’s like Dream SMP, weird videos, and other interesting stuff. There’s still good content, but not a lot. CONCLUSION In conclusion, Minecraft is great. A few nit-picks, but overall, it’s my childhood. Minecraft Rating: 11/10. I mean, I love the game and grew up on it.

Hi, I've had a Huawei Mate 20 Pro for over three years and I use it daily and charge it daily. I've noticed my battery is dying much faster and it incorrectly shows my percentage. For example, it would say 20 percent and then in a few minutes it would shut down. I want to maintain the battery's health for as long as possible before I need to go replace it. Advice?

I need to choose between two monitors... specifically: 2x Acer ED320QRP 32" 165Hz Gaming Monitors https://www.evetech.co.za/acer-ed320qrp-165hz-gaming-monitor/best-deal/8377.aspx 2x LG 27GL650F-B 27" FHD Gaming Monitohs https://www.evetech.co.za/lg-27gl650f-b-144hz-gaming-monitor/best-deal/7615.aspx Both cost exactly the same amount. The differences that I am worried about are as follows: The acer is 32" whereas the LG is 27" The acer is curved whereas the LG is flat The Acer does not support HDR whereas the LG does The Acer does not have an IPS panel whereas the LG does The Acer is 166Hz whereas the LG is 144Hz The Acer supports Freesync whereas LG supports G-sync (I have an Nvidia GPU) The Acer has 5ms response time whereas LG has 1ms I am very much conflicted over which to buy, and I need to make a choice between these two. Any and all help is very much aplreciated

I use my laptop for gaming (ew a gaming laptop, I know I know, its not my favorite either, but it works, and I'm on a budget so what can you do) and previously had a second monitor that had only 60Hz refresh rate, i recently purchased a newer monitor capable of going 240Hz, however when I set the refresh rate to 240Hz my screen goes black and the returns to 144Hz which I have set it to while I troubleshoot. if it helps the exact monitor is the AOC C27G2Z (https://us.aoc.com/en-US/gaming/products/monitors/c27g2z) while 144Hz is outstanding compared to 60Hz and I cant understand how I used 60Hz before, I would like to be able to use the full potential of the monitor

Hi, earlier today while gaming, my GPU suddenly stopped outputting anything to either of my displays. I could still hear the game I was playing, as well as my friends in discord. I tried the WIN+Ctrl+Shift+B combo to quick-reset graphics drivers but that did nothing. The only thing I was able to do was force-shutdown my PC by holding the power button down. When restarting, the display was working again. Since then, any time the computer is under any sort of moderate to high load, it will do the exact same thing. This has happened nearly a dozen times today while I've been trying to troubleshoot the issue. If it means anything, one of those times instead of no display output, it turned both of my monitors pure white (only once out of 10+ times). I have taken everything in my PC apart trying to solve this. I have made sure everything is plugged in correctly, as well as reseating the GPU. I have checked all PSU connections. I have cleaned out any dust. It is definitely NOT an overheating issue - my temps will only get to 70-75 degrees when this happens, and I can mostly verify this by feel and I can say it doesn't seem like it's misreporting temperatures. I did use NZXT CAM to under-clock the GPU once this started to happen, and although that did help for a while, it ended up crashing after about 20-30 mins of gameplay. When running Furmark, the GPU will crash after about 30 seconds to a minute. I have not had the GPU overclocked. I am wondering if this seems like a GPU issue or a PSU issue, as I have looked around and some people are saying that it's possible the GPU may be receiving too little power under heavy load and then will crash. I'm a bit all over the place with information at the moment, so sorry if it seems a bit random. My GPU is an ASUS 3070 Dual OC 8GB, and my PSU is a Corsair CX750M. I have had this configuration for quite a while and never had any issues like this before, nor have I added anything that should increase power draw. I'm not sure if it's a clock speed issue with my GPU or that perhaps it isn't receiving enough power. If anybody could advise me on what I should do to go about this that would be great. Thanks Edit: I have also tried multiple different Game Ready Drivers, that did not solve the issue. This started out of nowhere - not right after any game updates, windows updates or driver updates. I was playing for many hours the days before with the exact same config and software and there were no issues.

I have a HP bs15 with an Intel core i5 7200u, a 2 GB amd integrated graphics card, 500 GB ssd m.2 and 20 GB ddr4 2400mhz. The boot up is very fast but when I run softwares like Microsoft Word or any other software for that matter, it becomes laggy as hell. A game like FSX lags like I've never seen before. My old laptop was an hp pavilion with 2 GB ram, 512 mb graphics card and a 512 GB hdd and I took everything I would throw at it like a champ without even breaking a sweat. Can you please advise me on how to improve my laptop?

So I've recently been having some issues with my games crashing on me for no reason. And I'm at the end of my rope here, so as a last ditch effort I made an account to see if I could get some help. I normally game for hours at a time without any type of issue however ever since last week I have been having more and more crashing with my video games. And it's all the same too, no matter what the game is it'll be fine then the screen freezes but the sound continues like normal and the game is "playing" but nothing is happening. Then after about 10 seconds the game hard crashes without any error messages or anything. Normally stable games like the Witcher 3 and Dark Souls 3 are crashing all the time now. Some days i make it an hour without a crash but others I only get maybe ten minutes. I have already done a completely fresh install of Windows 10 and clean install of just the most basic drivers I can get away with. I don't have a slow computer either and it's never given me any type of issue like this before. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Specs GTX 980 ti MSI Gaming 6gb Edition running at ~1400mhz (+175mhz core and +200mhz on mem for the OC) Intel 4790k @ 4.0 ghz 16gb ram @2133mhz ASUS Z97 Impact VII Samsung 850 Pro 1tb SSD H100i V2 for the CPU 144hz 1440p gysnc dell monitor also its all in a Corsair 250D but I took the side panels off so its effectively an open air test bed Software Stuff Nvidia Drivers 378.66; not even running Geforce Experience just the drivers, no sound or surround Nvidia drivers either I let windows find the audio drivers because I heard Realtek drivers cause issues so they were the first to go Windows 10 64bit home edition with latest update as of 3/8/17 running windows defender (idk I have a virus because I was using Avast Pro before I clean installed and I was still having the same issues) minimal background applications, Steam, Logitech Gaming Suite, Skype nothing unusual Please if anyone has any advice or anything at all for me I'd literally love you for ever. This system isn't even that old and I really do not want to have to buy a new GPU or something.

Hello, I am looking to get a plan set up for upgrading my computer in the near future. I live in Colorado for reference for shipping stuff and I will be going off to college next fall. I would like to invest some money into my computer in the next coming months to get some more power and future-proofing out of it. Here are my current specs: Motherboard: Dell XPS 8700 Cpu: Intel Core i5-4440 @ 3.10 Ghz Ram: 2 * 4gb DDR3 SDRAM PC3-12800 [ 800 Mhz ] 2 * 4gb DDR3 Corsair Vengeance Ram [ 1600 Mhz ] Graphics Card: Asus 660 Ti -- Notes I haven't put in the Vengeance Ram yet. There are a pair 800 Mhz 4 GB ram sticks in the system right now. I have been too neglectful to switch out them and now want to wait. I am not 100% sure on what my power supply system is. I plan to buy one of those nifty computer case working sets that Linus uses a lot and switch out to the higher Mhz ram and clean out my system. When I do this I will figure out what kind of power supply I have in there. My benchmarks from PerformanceTest 9.0 are: Passmark: 2749 [68th Percentile] CPU mark: 6968 [63rd Percentile] 2D Mark: 727 [74th Percentile] 3D Mark: 4973 [81st Percentile] Memory Mark: 2352 [80th Percentile] Some notes: I keep the side panel off. I do this mostly because I've been lazy and secondly because I don't think it being on will do a whole lot. I may be misled in my thoughts. Please tell me if I am for all help is appreciated. I also am not sure if benchmarks from Performance test should be what I look for graphics cards from. This was the way that I chose the graphics card I will discuss later. I looked at their score and price and found some sweet spots. Is there another benchmarking software or system that I should use for finding a graphics card in the future? -----Part Outlook Case: I plan to buy a new case in the near future. The case that it is in is too small for my 660ti to fit comfortably and looks horrendous. It is the original Dell Xps case. My plan is to wait on new egg or eBay or even Amazon and wait for a sweet deal on a good case. ----- Plan for Graphics Card: I want to be able to play games in 1080 with high frames (possibly 144 Hz) and possibly 2k. I am not totally set on what I want in the computer's future. I just know that I want to upgrade a little more. With the prices of upgrades coming down I feel like it's a good time. There is one thing that I know that I want from my computer upgrade and that is to be able to support two monitors. I am pretty sure that my current set up is beefy enough. I haven't tried it out, though. And not two monitors for gaming, but two monitors for browsing the web and watching youtube videos at the same time. My Research For Graphics Cards: What I have looked at so far for graphics cards is the 1060s and the 1070 families so far. In the 1060 family, I am looking at both 3gb and 6gb ones. This is where I would like most of my help. What should I invest in? Would it be better to bulk up and save up another $100 or $200 for a better card? ----- Motherboard: I am also wondering if I need to update my motherboard. I have recently watched Linus's video on motherboard upgrades and feel like my current one should be enough for a little while longer. ----- Cpu and SSD: I believe that my CPU is enough for gaming. And my SSD is good enough for me right now. ----- Ram: I believe my current setup is enough. Tell me if it isn't efficient to have two different types of ram in the system at once. I believe not, but I am new to upgrading my PC. This is my first time for a major upgrade since I started gaming. ----- Peripherals: I am looking at buying a new keyboard and mouse. I want my these to last a long time so I don't have to rebuy them in the future. My current ones are about 3 years old and I feel like they are about to fall apart. Not to mention the membrane keyboard isn't a very pleasant experience anymore. I will be in a dorm with other people next year so the sound is a little bit of a consideration for me. I have researched a little on switches and I believe that blues would be worth the sound that they produce. The reviews that I have heard are that people love them and they are great for typing. Which will be an extra plus because I will be typing a lot next year. My price range for my keyboard is from $30 - $100. I have picked some out, but don't know what kind of features I should really be looking for specifically so I haven't bought them yet. Here is a link to the one that is my top picks (I have Amazon Prime too so these are a good % off): More Expensive Keyboard, but still not Mx Blue Switches Cheap Waterproof Keyboard With "Blue" switches For my mouse, I plan to get a Razor DeathAdder Elite. If there are any other good alternatives I would be open. I use a G9x mouse (claw grip) right now. Headphones are not as of concern right now. I have some cheap ones I got off amazon that is stereo and plugs in via USB. They are adequate. I have a few thoughts in the back of my head if a sound card is a worthy upgrade in the future. I plan to research this topic a little more by myself, though. If anyone wants to throw some free help my way I would appreciate it in this too. ----- Thanks for the help if you read all that, it was quite a bit, and I hope I didn't leave any information out that is required to help tell me if I did.
