I recently bought a Cooler Master MasterCase 5 (not pro) to watercool my HOT components with. I'm getting mixed messages on front radiator support for this case. Can I mount a triple 140(420mm)? or even a triple 120(360mm)? It is very unclear. I'm cooling a GTX 1080 (slight OC) and a 4790k (good OC @ ~ 4.6Ghz). I'm using 1 SSD and 1 HDD with an ATX motherboard and I've already removed the drive and 5.25" bays. The GPU isn't that long, especially once the waterblock is on it. I haven't got my heart set on any reservoirs, either.

Hi guys, I'm looking at getting a new case soon, and currently its down to the CoolerMaster Master Case Maker 5 or the Phanteks Enthoo Evolv ATX with tempered glass. Each has aspects about them that I like, the look of the Enthoo, the radiator mounting in the Maker 5 (can hide my ugly Noctua Fans). I am also looking at maybe in the next year or so doing a custom water cooling loop, so I want to also pick my next case with this in mind. Which of those 2 would be better suited to fitting a custom loop in? I'm having a hard time choosing between the 2, so any other insight, or alternative options, would be greatly appreciated!

I found a perfect solution for GPU sagging. My setup is a Coolermaster mastercase and a zotac amp extreme gpu. Even if your setup is different, you might find this helpful to get an idea to solve your problem.I didn't even spend a penny on this and it doesn't look ugly as if you use a support bracket from the market. And the ready made solutions are expensive too. So I think this is the perfect solution for my setup. All you need is the PCI-e slot cover you took off when installing the gpu , a screw and a zip tie.I made a video about ithttps://youtu.be/D5mmSrCG2ok Hope you find this helpful. Thank you.

Hi there, I want to mod the Mastercase Maker 5's front I/O and make it RGB instead of just red - Is it possible to remove the entire unit from the case in order to do this? Also, anyone know if getting into the I/O component is possible or have a picture of the inside of the casing? I'm hoping that Cooler Master will make a controllable panel at some point - perhaps with the USB 2.0 removed and a 3.1 / 3.2 interface with the new connector added in its place. Heres hoping. Cheers! (Photos are just a crude reference of what I want to do...apologies for the rubbish quality)

Hello Everyone, I just bought the new Cooler Master MAF H500P Case and planning on moving my main rig into this case (Current case is the Bitfenix Shinobi XL A.K.A Obi-Wan Shinobi) Because I'm using Rigid tubing, this means i gotta re-do all my bends etc etc. So i thought it would be fun to kinda record it and slap it on YT. If you're bored or wanna check out the new case, Feel free to tag along, give me some pointers, tips etc etc. Hope you enjoy.

Hi guys just enquiring about these two combination for my new pc. Im intending to put the 2x 140mm on the bracket top, and the radiator below the fans . What i intend to achieve is that the fan acts as a pull mechanism rather than push [linus coverded something about dust issues with push into the radiator causing issues to clean later on] would the pull config on a 280mm work is my enquiry because there is a 20% ebay deal and im kinda on the verge of buying it [143aud after disc] just enquriing now because if it doesnt fit smoothly i am ok with downgrading to a smaller aio [240mm] just to make it work but would like to check first with the community. Thanks a heap bunch for the help~! sorry if i double post wasnt sure where to put this post... zzz

Hey LTT community I was wondering about the differences between the CooloerMaster MasterCase Pro 5 and the MasterCase Maker 5. A friend of mine is offering to sell he his Pro 5 in good condition for a very good price. Is it worth getting it from him or just saving for the Maker? Aside from the table CM list on their site here, like what it's like to build in them, small things that make you prefer the one over the other. So if you're someone who owns or has owned, built in or had any experience with either case, please post it, really wanna know. PS: I have a Nepton 280L AIO (280mm radiator), will this fit in either case easily? And thoughts on custom loop potential for each case.

I've almost finished building my new system in the MasterCase: Maker 5. I want to install an additional fan in the front of the case. I looked online, but I can't find another one that matches the ones that come with the case (I think they are a Cooler Master Silencio 140mm x 25mm Airflow Fans). Could anyone point me to somewhere I could obtain these. Thanks in advance.

Project AZISAI: Kaby Lake mATX Custom Water Cooled Build Hello LTT Forum! So I built my first desktop back in 2011, and that trusty 2600K/560-Ti rig has served me well through all of my five years of college and then some (though I admittedly haven't done much PC gaming in the past year or so). But now that I've achieved independent adult status and am making a decent salary, it's about time I finally step it up and build myself a high-end machine. I want it to seamlessly run modern titles at 2560x1440 with high refresh rates and be sexy and silent while doing it, so I'm going with the top-of-the-line hardware, custom water cooling, and a color-neutral theme with RGB lighting everywhere! I'll be doing this build in parts, just because I won't have all the money at once. Here are the components lists, with the stuff that's arrived or that I'm carrying over from my current PC in green: Part 1: Tower CPU: Intel Core i7-7700K CPU Cooler: be quiet! Dark Rock 3 (until water cooling happens) Motherboard: ASUS ROG Strix Z270G Gaming Memory: 32GB (4x8GB) G.Skill TridentZ RGB DDR4-3200 Storage (OS): Samsung 950 Pro 256GB M.2 Storage (Data): Samsung 850 Evo 1TB GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 FTW Chassis: Cooler Master MasterCase Pro 3 (w/ Tempered Glass side panel) PSU: Corsair AX860i PSU Cables: CableMod ModFlex Sleeved Cables (white) 120mm Fans: 4x Noctua NF-F12 LinusTechTips Special Edition (w/ white Noctua Chromax accents) 140mm Fans: 1x Noctua NF-A14 LinusTechTips Special Edition (w/ white Noctua Chromax accents) Lighting: CableMod WideBeam Magnetic RGB Strips Part 2: Peripherals Monitor: Dell S2716DGR Keyboard: Corsair K95 RGB Platinum (Cherry MX Brown) Mouse: Logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum Part 3: Water Cooling CPU Block: EK Supremacy EVO (Full Nickel) GPU Block: EK FC1080 GTX FTW (Acetal+Nickel, Nickel Backplate) Pump/Reservoir: EK RES X3 140 Revo D5 PWM Fittings: EK ACF (Black Nickel) Radiators: 2x EK CoolStream SE 240 Tubing: EK DuraClear 3/8" ID 5/8" OD Coolant: EK Ekoolant Pastel White I'm glad I stocked up on the beautiful Linus edition Noctuas back in April. Finally they'll be put to good use! So as soon as the Kaby Lake Desktop parts hit, I'll be placing my orders for the tower. CES can't come soon enough! Stay tuned for updates!

So im building my first build, it will be a: .-Asus TUF Z-390M Pro Gamin (Wifi) (m-ATX) .-i7-9700k .-Seasonic Focus 650w Platinum PSU .-Asus Dual fan RTX 2080 OC My cpu cooling of choice is the Noctua NH-D15s (with the S) and after much tinkering and searching i concluded i wanted to put all that into a Cooler Master Mastercase Pro 3 but looking in the compatibility chart Noctua offers in its site i cant find said case, in the other hand, specs chart from Cooler Master's site says it can support 190mm of cpu cooler height (Images of the two charts included). I dont know if Noctua's site is out of update or i am looking in the wrong messure on Cooler Master Case Specs, but it'd be helpfull if you guys could help me. Thanks

Hello, does anyone know where you can buy the MasterCase accessories that they show on the cases pages? Near the bottom there is a list of the previous cases and I think that is saying what it comes with. I also find it hard to believe that you cant put a LED strip in the MC Pro 6. Thank you.

Soo, i need a water cooler or a air cooler for my CPU. I wanna chose the Corsair Hydro Series h115i RGB with 280mm fans, cand i get fit this in my case? On the top? Or should i go for an air cooler for my CPU, and instal 3x Corsair LL120 RGB on the top of my case? An set them to instake? Then i'l have 2x 200fans in front and 3x on top for instake, and 1x, in the back, for the exaust.. So there are two question The h115i RGB with fitting in my case on top? And should i go air cooler my CPU and instal 3 fans on top for extra intake?

Does the tempered glass side panel that is listed under accessories on Cooler-masters website work with the Mastercase Pro 5? On the page it says that it will, but it also shows two different mounting screw layouts for the different cases that it supports. https://www.cmstore.eu/case/tempered-glass-side-panel-for-mastercase-5-6-mc500-mc600-and-h500-series/

Been using my current rig for a little over a year now and a month or so ago I noticed it got insanely dusty in just a year, even more so compared to the pre-built system it replaced which didn't get as dusty over a period of 6 years. Since building and up until yesterday, I've only utilised one of the 3 preinstalled 140mm fans that came with the Mastercase Pro 5 as an exhaust, leaving the front two unused. Right now I'm using the top most of the front two fans along with the exhaust. For the time being anyway. And just to note, I have my PC on the floor due to my desk literally being just two thin pieces of mdf with cardboard sandwiched between (and Ikea have the gall to charge £25 for it. The Wanks.). I want to obtain positive air pressure in my case so that it doesn't get as dusty as it did but I have no idea how. Ideally I want two 140mm fans in the front(that are both running and not just the one) as intakes and a 140mm fan in the back as an exhaust. I know I cold have a third in front but the drive cage in the basement would pretty much block it. What I don't know is if this would result in positive or negative air pressure. Hell. I don't even know if currently having the one front intake and one rear exhaust is currently positive or negative. Getting an answer to both of these would be nice. I have to run one front fan at the moment since the second can't reach to either of the two headers at the bottom of my z270 Gaming M5 (i have no extensions...yet) and my system gets real bratty and fussy if I plug both into the two closest headers(All headers are working. it's just if these two are both used and I don't know why. Headers are Sys_Fan4 and Pump_Fan1.) Also, I'm currently thinking about replacing the three DC 140mm fans that came with the case with some decent pwm fans of the same size but I don't know which ones are worth throwing money at. Airflow is what and I honestly couldn't give two shits about RGB. Also Black, fans have gotta be black so they don't look out of place with my case.

Need some help here, i own a master case 5t, will a 360mm aio cooler radiator fit in the front of the case, the website states only 280mm at the front. I physically measured from fan mounts + extra top and bottom cappings on the radiator and it easily fits 360mm with out any obstructions. hard drive cages are gone, i dont need them. will a 360mm aio cooler + fit in the front ? why does the website state 280 when there cleary is room....

PROJECT LOG TEMPORARILY ON HOLD. PC FINISHED, HOWEVER CHANGES NEED TO BE MADE + FINAL PHOTOGRAPHY INTRODUCTION This build has undergone ongoing planning between the client and I for the past 12 months with a deadline of early January 2018. The brief was to create a matt-black-and-gold build in the Cooler Master Mastercase Pro 6. Originally we had intended on incorporating some aspects of the geometry of the Transformers character, Starscream. However, we decided that this wasn't going to be so much a typical themed build which would try to emulate the subject. Instead, we simply wanted to add some interesting acrylic design that borrowed from the character's body, while keeping the very minimal modding mostly additive and minimalistic simply to clean up the case a little, since gold tends to look best against simple matt surfaces. The goals for this build were to place aesthetics at equal importance to performance. For this reason, the following design decisions were made: All components are to be as black and as simple in design as possible, excluding the fittings which will be gold. 16mm OD acrylic hardline tubing used to fill out the large internal size of the case with Mayhems pastel black coolant. Barrow Gold fittings to reduce cost compared to Bitspower True Brass. Custom laser-cut acrylic in matt-black to cover up and simplify most of the case. Custom laser-cut and line-bent geometric acrylic parts which resemble parts of Starscream's body. Natural white LEDs to allow the gold to shine through the tinted tempered glass panel, while keeping the matt-black internals mostly unlit. All ATX/EPS/PCIe cables custom-made from 4mm MDPC-X black sleeve over 16AWG wire, and all front-panel and SATA cable sleeved. Custom laser-cut acrylic cable combs (eg. 8+8 and 16+16 for GPU PCIe cables). Mountable CNC-milled cable combs to route all ATX/EPS/PCIe cables neatly. PROGRESS INDEX UPDATE 01 (18/12/17) - Core Components Product Photography #1 UPDATE 02 (15/01/18) - Laser-cut Acrylic and Watercooling Components

Ok, so at some point in the near future I would like to build a new PC, and the case I have chosen is the Cooler Master MasterCase Pro 5, cause it seems like a good case and I like the way it looks. The way I have the component list currently set up is like so: Intel Core i7 7700k Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo w/ a Noctua NF-f12 G-Skill Trident Z RGB 16gb ram (2400 mhz) Gigabyte ga-z270x-ultra gaming motherboard Asus Strix 1070 ti graphics card Samsung 850 pro 256 gb ssd WD 2 tb black mechanical drive (for mass storage) Corsair rm750x power supply samsung dvd reader/burner Rosewill data hub for 5.25 inch bays For case fans, I plan to replace the stock fans with Corsairs AF series of fans. I would like to have the case to have positive pressure, so I was thinking about putting 2 AF-140s at the front for intake, 1 AF-120 in the rear for exhaust, and 1 AF-140 in the top for exhaust. My question is: Is this a good fan setup for maintaining positive pressure? Are there any better fan setups that I can do for my current list?

Hi, I was wondering which case i should get. They both look good but my build theme is red+black which makes me lean towards the S340. I'm worried about cable management because the only gap that leads to the back is that bar. The mastercase pro 5 looks good, is very modular and I hear it has good cable management. I would love some advice. Thanks

Hi all! I hope that this year has been great to all of you thus far? I was asked by Cooler Master South Africa to complete a case mod on the new MasterCase Maker 5 chassis for the rAge expo this year in October in Johannesburg, this is a large computer and gaming expo here in South Africa, and I have to say that this is an amazing opportunity. So without further delay, let the modding begin! The day I received the chassis:
