Hello everyone, First time here. Might as well try and I am seeking for help. i bought new components and built a pc. Here is the list of the components: AMD Ryzen 9 7900X3d MSI GeForce RTX 4070 Gaming x slim 12gb ASUS TUF x670-e 2x16gb Corsair ram DDR5 5200 2 2tb Samsung NVme m2 Lian Li GA II 360 Trinity SL-INF 3x lian li uni fan 1x nzxt fan from nzxt h9 case PSU Bequiet Pure Power 12 M 750W OS: windows 11 pro 64x BIOS: asus tuf 1813 (do not really know the name but version is 1813 supposed to be the latest) Here is the context. My brother in law built the pc. Everything went well. Pc booted, windows 11 pro installed and activated. Everything worked fine until I tried to launch games. I first launched rocket league. The whole pc crashed. No blue screen but completely shut down. I then restarted it and launched rocket league again. This time pc did not crashed and was able to play (I did only for 5 min to test). Then I launched warzone. Again, pc completely shut down and no blue screen. Starting to worry and did some research on the internet. I tried a few solution and running tests such as memory, download latest drive (was already done), etc. I then launched warzone a second time and pc still shut down. Knowing warzone is maybe not optimal, I tried launched another game in this case CS 2. The pc also shut down when launching the game. It pissed me off. I unplugged psu and did not restart the pc. Now, I do not know what to do. I begin to think that PSU is not enough to support the whole thing, mainly GPU, AIO and others. Because when launching games, every components starts to activate and maybe requires more power which can’t be delivered by the PSU. Does anyone has an idea of what the issue can be or can anyone help me ? i am starting to worrying because it is quite an amount of money and I am afraid components might have been damaged. Many thanks if you took your time to read this and if you bother replying. Btw, whising you merry Christmas !

So I just bought a 4060ti and I upgraded from a 3060ti. Bad choice probably but why not. I'm new to pcs and all of that so I didn't uninstall the old 3060ti drivers or any of that. I just plopped it in without messing with the drivers at all. So, I still have the old drivers. I just downloaded the ones necessary for my 4060ti so do I delete the old drivers straight from my files? Please help. specs: i5 12600k, ddr4 32gb ram, 4060ti, 850w evga psu, deepcool ak640, aorus z690 elite ax ddr4, 1tb 980 pro

So I just built my brand new PC and everything was working fine until after I installed Windows, BIOS stuff, and set up the pc I went to connect to the internet using an ethernet cable, but it didn't connect anywhere. The wifi has the same issue. I tried the device manager and removing the ethernet device or internet device but I can't do that when nothing shows up for me. It says that I don't have the correct wifi drivers to connect to the internet so I'm stranded with a useless expensive PC. I looked it up in the forums and everyone said something about downloading the drivers onto a USB or watching the DVD that came with my motherboard to get the wifi drivers but nothing worked. Someone, please help me. My motherboard is the Asus ROG Strix B550-F Gaming Wifi II btw. Thanks. im in the us and im looking to build a new gaming computer. I want a powerful rig so my games dont look like they were made in ms paint, yet im trying to be realistic in my goals as i am on a very tight budget. I plan on playing games like M&B Bannerlord, which involves a ton of ai in big scale battles. I plan on playing vr games such as Half Life Alyx. I may do a little of modeling but its not a main concern. I am currently upgrading from a computer built around 2013-2014, cant remember. I want to play at 1080p as i am fine with that, although hopefully capable of 1440p, as i might get a 1440p monitor someday. I would really like to make my new pc small, close to console size(i know its possible, just dont know where to look).Cooling isn't an issue as i have a fan/water-cooling hybrid cooling system in my pc that i can use.I dont need a case as i will build one myself. My budget is 800 USD, although i am willing to stretch the budget slightly *edit: my specs are an AMD A 10-5800k APU, one functioning 4gb ram stick, and a rt 550, and an old derelict dying motherboard.(keep in mind that the computer has been neglected and so dusty, that I can't clean all of it, and to the point of breaking one of the 2 ram slots.) many thanks, Blank user

I just recently got a 6600xt to add onto my current build, which has a Ryzen 5 3400G and was using integrated graphics. Now after adding the graphics card, I am getting low fps in games like Warzone (60fps on all low settings) and Valorant (120 fps and stuttering on low settings). In the case of Valorant, my fps actually went lower than before the upgrade and I don't know why. I ran MSI afterburner on Rust and I saw I had 50% gpu usage with 1400mhz which is much lower than the base clock speed and 70% cpu usage. The temperature of the GPU was only 50 degrees. Can someone help. Specs: Ryzen 5 3400g Sapphire pulse 6600xt 2x8gb 3000mhz ram 550w power supply I have tried: Remove old drivers with ddu and downloading latest drivers. I have tried updating bios and chipset drivers.

I recently move to a more powerful gaming system, my vr worked on my old system, but when I have everything hooked up to the new system the remotes won't show up when I have the helmet on, and the buttons do nothing. The Oculus software says they're connected, but steam vr says they're not. I've already ran the repair tool, tried a full uninstall and reinstall, taken the batteries out for a while, replacing them... I plugged back into my old system as well, just to make sure, and the tracking still worked, so I'm not entirely sure what to do. I contacted oculus support a week ago and still no response. Specs: Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 2600x 6 core processor, 3600 Mhz Motherboard: ROG Strix B550-F Gaming (Wifi) GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080, 8 gig Ram: T-Force Delta RGB DDR4 16 gig OS: Windows 10 Pro 64 bit Any help would be appreciated.

Question about how a PCIe Wifi+Bluetooth module works. A network PCIe module usually includes, in the same board, a WiFi chip and a BT chip, and it's obvious that the two are different because one needs a USB connection to the motherboard, while the other connects through the PCIe. So, first question, Does the Bluetooth module use the PCIe connection at all? Next, and for similar reasoning, I've noticed how the number of antenas don't seem to increase wether the module has Bluetooth or not. I mean, comparing a product which only provides WiFi, and one which provides both, there's usually the same number of antenas. So, I'm wondering, for a 2-antena module, Is the Bluetooth chip sharing antenas with Wifi, or is it using them at all? I know for a fact that there are hundreds of products and the specifications vary a lot depending on price and quality. I'm focusing mainly on the cheap ones, though I'd like to know if characteristics change with good 50€+ versions. Thanks in advance, Armand.

Hi guys, I play a lot of warzone and I recently switched from PS4 to pc. Whenever I play warzone on pc I get a ton of fps Drops/ skips. It only happens once I play for at least 10 mins. At the start of the game it runs just fine. I normally average 70 to 110 fps in Warzone and it is very frustrating because I will be at 100 Fps and the moment I shoot it will drop to 12. Etc. Any suggestions would be appreciate!!! many thanks

So I'm not the most knowledgeable about all this stuff, but I do know when I need to research. However, I remembered that I'm not 100% sure about this either, but here's the issue: I recently got a new computer about 3 or 4 days ago, and it was perfectly fine the first couple of days. The issue is that in this time, my computer has had a tendency to black screen at a random time once a day since Wednesday and crash. Twice it happened during a game, and it happened just this morning while I was asking a friend for possible tips on the situation. Luckily, this more recent occurrence didn't lead to a pc crash so I could see my CPU's temp, however it terrified me to see that it just randomly got so hot. It's happened a total of 3 times and I'm worried about permanent damage taking place. By default, this is what MZXT shows me about my CPU when idle. At first I thought it was the clock speed, but I'm wondering if it could be something else as well. Today I managed to capture a screenshot of the overheat. I've been recommended to change the thermal paste, to undervolt the CPU (which I have no idea how to do), and to mess with it in the BIOS, but I've also had suspicions of a possible hardware incompatibility (which I'm still hoping isn't the case) or maybe something's wrong with my drivers. Here are my specs as listed from the website I bought the PC from (iBP): Please help, I have no idea what route I should take here ;-; Edit: Changing the thermal paste did not work on resolving the issue, will happily take more suggestions

OK long story short I have relatively decent knowledge about building PCs I’ve built one and I really enjoyed it for my birthday. My parents decided to get me a used PC off of eBay so I can tinker on it and have a really nice media PC, the PC and the components worked just fine but there’s a Windows key issue when I bought the PC. It had no hard drive in it anymore so I installed a SSD. And proceeded to try to install windows everything booted up, but it would not except my personal windows pro key. I stayed on the phone with Windows tech-support for about three days straight at about three hours at a time, but they cannot help me with any of it so as of right now I’m having to run Linux Which the PC is running fine on Linux but I would prefer to use windows anybody that can guide me with some advice on if I need to either buy a new motherboard for it or do I have to grit my teeth and yet again by another windows license

Have had issues since I first put it in a brand new build. It would only work for a day with only a minor tearing issue (as seen in picture) that would sometimes appear. After being on for some time the screen will go dark and the cpu and case fans will start to run at full speed. I tried a different motherboard (same chipset X570) to see if that was the issue but the same thing happened. I DDU the drivers mutiple times and the same issue would happen less then a day. Fresh install of windows only let it work for 2 days instead of 1. No issues in games just will black screen after a random amount of hours. I gave up on it a couple of months ago. I had bought a new GPU and everything works with no problems now but now I want to see if I could get this 1070 to work for a new ITX build before just selling it as broken. I haven't tried opening it up since I didn't want to make things worse and I don't know what is wrong with it. I have no idea what the problem could be so any advice is appreciated. PC Specs: Motherboard: Gigabyte X570 AORUS Elite Wifi (Also tried with ASUS Prime X570-P) CPU: Ryzen 3600 RAM: G.Skill Trident Z Neo 16gb 3600MHz

Hi! Ive managed my way into finding the settings tab where I can enable and disable certain programs to startup on launch. Unfortunately, I can’t find my way back. I’ve tried searching up on YouTube where this is again, but I cannot find it. Does anyone have any step by step instructions and screenshots on how to get there again? (That settings tab where you scan enable and disable stuff to open on launch.)

So about three weeks after i started using my new GPU, (MSI GTX 1060 GAMING X 6GB) I have been getting a reoccurring issue in which the screen goes black and the computer buzzes. I can restart to fix, but ~20-60 mins later it happens again. Notably, every time i start up windows the music buzzes a bit. I've noticed that the problem is where once the GPU is triggered (For a reason unknown), the fans on it go crazy and dont stop until i restart. It is able to handle anything, but the problem happens randomly. Any solutions? P.S. I am contacting MSI Technicians ASAP, as their hours are only on weekdays.

Ok, So this is my first post in this forum, but probably not my last ever because this problem is pissing me off. My previous build was running every game perfectly, with some exceptions. Here are the specs: Intel i5-4670k Gigabyte Z97-UD3H-BK Corsair 1600MHz RAM 4x4GB I have just changed those 3 parts for some fresh ones.... Here they are: Intel i7-7700 Asus ROG STRIX B250F Corsair 2400MHz RAM 2x8GB My GPU is an ASUS STRIX GTX 1070, and now that I have swapped out my old parts, my game performances and general usage are completely awful. I have updated and installed all drivers necessary, and the issue persists. Help.
