Budget (including currency): €2000/2200,- Country: The Netherlands Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Adobe Creative Cloud mostly and some gaming like COD: Warzone being the heaviest game. Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Current setup: CPU: Intel i7-8700K RAM: Kingston Hyper X DDR4-2400 16GB (2x 8GB) Mainboard/Motherboard: Gigabyte Z370-HD3-CF SSD: Samsung SSD 970 EVO 500GB (Boot drive) HDD: Toshiba 1TB (Storage) GPU: Gigabyte NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4GB PSU: MS-Tech 650W (I know, I know) New setup: CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 3950X or 5950X (I need help with this, read below ) RAM: Any brand DDR4-3600 32GB (2x 16GB) Mainboard/Motherboard: Asus ROG STRIX X570-E GAMING SSD: Samsung SSD 970 EVO 500GB (Boot drive) HDD: Toshiba 1TB (Storage) GPU: Gigabyte NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 12GB PSU: Corsair RM850X (850 Watt), Is this enough? Now the thing is I think I want a 5950X to futureproof myself but the prices has gone up and they are hard to get. Now the 3950X is cheaper and easier to get. Also they seem to have the same cores/threads? This is the part where I hit a dead end, should I go for the 5950X or should I get a 3950X now and upgrade in the future? Same with the mainboard/motherboard, is this a good choice or is there a similair one cheaper or should I take it a step higher. I'm not fan of a particular brand and RGB is not a must have, the less is better to be honest. This whole AMD Ryzen and X570 is new for me, so I really need the help from professionals. So please help me, if you can. If you need more information from me, please let me know. Thank you for your time. Best Regards, Lorenzo.

Budget (700€ excluding peripherals): Country: Germany Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Light gaming (minecraft, genshin impact, indie-games), Software Development, Coding, sometimes 3D Modelling (no rendering) Hello, first time builder here. Due to the extreme Video Card prices currently, I have decided that I will build a Rig with an IGPU for now and continue to research and later upgrade it with a decent GPU instead of buying sub-optimal parts now and overpay for a below-average Graphics card. The IGPU-Build will offer adequate performance for my needs and still be a somewhat good price. Below, ive included the PcPartsPicker Part List and I would like some input on some questions: Im not sure yet whether I should go with the Ryzen 5 5600G or the Ryzen 7 5700G. Both are good CPUs and I am ready to pay the additional 75 bucks for the better Ryzen 7. But my concern is that I wont be able to use the powerful CPU to its full potential. So my question or more like request would for someone to look over my parts and look for potential bottlenecks and maybe tell me whether the RAM I picked is fast enough for the CPU and if the memory speed matches the overall build etc. According to PcPartPicker I might have to update my MoBo BIOS for the CPU to be compatible. Can somebody maybe explain whether this might become a problem and roughly how that works Are all the parts fully compatible and will there be any bottlenecks? Are there any parts that i could/should save money on? Here´s some additional information: I would like to have at least 2 Monitors at a later point, but i understand that it will not be possible right now, due to the integrated graphics and only one hdmi port on the motherboard. Im upgrading to a self built PC from a Laptop with Ryzen 5 with integrated graphics so i really dont have any high expectations. I want to play at 1080p resolution with at least 50 FPS in most Indie-Games or minecraft for example (no AAA titles or shooters etc). Im planing to buy the PC some time later this year or in the beginning of next year. Im planning to go with Windows as my operating system. Im also very comfortable using linux, but its just too unoptimized for gaming to be the right choice for me, i think. (We´ll see with Linus´ current experiment on running linux for a month, whether im right or wrong with that). Any input is dearly welcome. Please excuse my english and I hope I dont seem impolite. Not a native english speaker. I hope this post isnt too long. thank you in advance and here is the PPP List: [PCPartPicker Part List](https://de.pcpartpicker.com/list/kvfL68) **CPU** | [AMD Ryzen 7 5700G 3.8 GHz 8-Core Processor](https://de.pcpartpicker.com/product/ycGbt6/amd-ryzen-7-5700g-38-ghz-8-core-processor-100-100000263box) | €347.99 @ Mindfactory **Motherboard** | [Asus ROG STRIX B450-F GAMING II ATX AM4 Motherboard](https://de.pcpartpicker.com/product/xYvqqs/asus-rog-strix-b450-f-gaming-ii-atx-am4-motherboard-rog-strix-b450-f-gaming-ii) | €106.90 @ Alternate **Memory** | [Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 CL16 Memory](https://de.pcpartpicker.com/product/QDhKHx/corsair-vengeance-rgb-pro-16gb-2-x-8gb-ddr4-3200-memory-cmw16gx4m2c3200c16) | €80.68 @ Amazon Deutschland **Storage** | [Samsung 970 Evo Plus 1 TB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive](https://de.pcpartpicker.com/product/Zxw7YJ/samsung-970-evo-plus-1-tb-m2-2280-nvme-solid-state-drive-mz-v7s1t0bam) | €117.99 @ Amazon Deutschland **Case** | [SHARKOON REV 100 ATX Mid Tower Case](https://de.pcpartpicker.com/product/TYkgXL/sharkoon-rev-100-atx-mid-tower-case-4044951030163) | €71.39 @ Computeruniverse **Power Supply** | [Corsair RM (2019) 650 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply](https://de.pcpartpicker.com/product/WxL48d/corsair-rm-2019-650-w-80-gold-certified-fully-modular-atx-power-supply-cp-9020194-na) | €97.39 @ Alza **Case Fan** | [SHARKOON Shark Blade 33 CFM 120 mm Fan](https://de.pcpartpicker.com/product/dFFPxr/sharkoon-case-fan-000skby) |- **Monitor** | [MSI Optix G24C4 23.6" 1920x1080 144 Hz Monitor](https://de.pcpartpicker.com/product/k33mP6/msi-optix-g24c4-236-1920x1080-144-hz-monitor-optix-g24c4) | €196.00 @ Amazon Deutschland *Prices include shipping, taxes, rebates, and discounts* | **Total** | **€1018.34**

Hi guys, As the title says, my pc only boots up after I take my GPU out and put it in again. I’ve recently changed my motherboard (from TUF gaming to MSI B550-A Pro) and ever since I’ve had this issue. After I’ve reinstalled the GPU my pc works fine and I can reboot and it boots up normally. But at night I turn the power off(on the rear end of the case) and the next day I have to reinstall the GPU again. It’s probably not related but I had a similar issue with my nvme on my old motherboard, where it would sometimes not show up but after reinstalling it it would show up in bios and windows until I shut down my pc. But this issue has persisted since my new mobo so I’ll just get a new one. please help me, I can’t find anything about this issue on the internet.

Hi there, First of all I apologize in advance for any English mistakes like grammarwise, not my first language. I just recently bought pre-owned RTX 2070 SUPER, but I'm having a problem. After I try to turn on the PC, GPU fans start spinning at a ridiculous speed rate making a shit ton of noise. Holding power button for few seconds turns it off, but afterwards if I try again, result is the same. Only thing that works is to flip the PSU switch to 0 to hard kill it. Then I wait few seconds and eventually it does start up. Not having any issues whatsoever FPS-wise during gaming. I wonder what could it be? Don't really think this "technique" is good for the future of my components. The GPU was just fine when I saw it from the dude who was selling it. It powered on for the first time just fine. Don't know if it's gonna help but here are the specs, excluding the GPU: (basically everything was bought in 2018) CPU: i7 7700k MB: Asus Tuf z270 mark 2 RAM: G.SKill RipjawsV 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 3200 PSU: Corsair RMx Series RM750x 750W NOTE: I had similar issue back with my older card (1070), but the fans weren't going crazy - only black screen after turning it on. RAM is currently set to run at 3200mhz to maximize its potential. Can't get to it because of a big ass cooler. I'm also thinking about upgrading MB and CPU as well, but none the less I'd love to fix the issue I have rn to avoid killing the PC everytime via the switch. Every tip / advice is much appreciated! Will try to respond asap to your possible questions.

My current chair mat for my hardwood floor has a thickness of 1/4" and it's not enough. Does anyone here know one that is made 1 full inch thick? Or close to it? My current chair mat measures 45" × 53" with the lip that goes under the desk area. I've probably looked online a combined 4 hours and find nothing but as thin or much thinner chair mats than the one I own now. Thanks all. EDIT!!: I have included a POOR drawing of the crack and uneven floor issue.

Browser, version and OS: Chrome, Win11 Steps to reproduce/what were you doing before it happened? Recently (Last Night), I decided to upgrade from my 1660 Ti to an MSI RX 6950 XT To begin, I removed my old power supply (Red Dragon 850 Gold RGB Modular) and Replaced it with a Corsair RM1000e. The new GPU suggests a minimum PSU of 850w, so rather than have my PSU maxed, I opted to swap it for a slightly higher output. I spent two hours doing some very neurotic cable management; everything is tucked and strapped down. After this, I installed the new GPU & its support bracket. I reconnected the power and HDMI cable and plugged it into my display. I powered up the computer, and everything spooled up; the rig is making all the right fan sounds, all the RGB is lit, and doing its programmed fade in and out. The rub is the GPU appears not to be pushing a signal out. I opened the rig up and removed and reinstalled the GPU in case I hadn't seated something correctly. I checked the PSU and made sure everything was connected in there. I checked all of the other connections and plugged them back into the display, but still no signal out (again, all the RGB is doing its thing, all of the fans are running, & yes, the fans and RGB on the GPU are lit and running). What happened? No display out from GPU What did you expect to happen? Well, I expected the GPU to work... I mean, I expected the computer to notify me I had new hardware and needed to set it up. The only thing I haven't done yet is pulled all the wires out and rebuild the rig from scratch, and see if I pinched off or something like that. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Link to a page where it happened, if applicable: Screenshots of the issue, if applicable: Any other relevant details: The rest of the setup is as follows: Motherboard: MSI X570S Edge CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800 X3D RAM: Corsair Vengeance 64GB DDR4-3600 HD: Inland Performance 2TB 3D GEN 4 M.2 NVMe Case: Corsair iCUE 4000x If it's a cloudflare error, what was the ray ID from the bottom of the error page?

hey everyone, so my pc has been shitting the bed pretty hard for the last month or so, its giving me 2 main BSoD, I've got the CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT, and WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR. I honestly dont know what to do, i think my cpu might be dying does anyone know of a program to help me diagnose these problems? Oh also, my cpu was going into crazy temps sometimes, 90+degrees at idle.

I have an Enthoo Evolv itx case, and I am having cooling issues with the stock 200mm fan. I want to purchase two 140mm fans to replace it with, but I don't whether I should use SP's of HA's. The fans have to pull air into the case around both the door panel as well as through a dust filter. Which would be better? I have a 140mm HA on the back as an exhaust. I am also planning to use a fan hub to get them all on the same curve.

I recently bought my Canon Vixia hf r600 and a SanDisk Extreme Plus MicroSDHC UHS-I card yet I keep receiving Memory card errors while recording the card claims to have a 90 MB/s write speed. Is something wrong with my Camera? or the card. It should be noted I bought the camera Refurbished directly from the Canon Website. Please help and thank you!

So recently, I have been having some major issues with my PC and my HyperX Cloud Revolver Headset. Both microphone ports have stopped working (front audio and the 6 panel on the motherboard). I have tried removing my mic from my headset and plugging it directly in, re-installing realtek drivers, re-installing windows, testing the headset on another computer (which it worked perfectly on), and trying another headset on my PC. None of these apart from using my headset in another computer have been successful. I have been left to wonder what the hell is going on with my computer and I would appreciate any help.

So, today I went to load into R6S, and straight away the game was super choppy, with long frame times even when just scrolling through the menu. My CPU is normally the bottleneck in this game as it's quite CPU-heavy (runs 100% usage normally), but I still have to limit the FPS to 144 to match my monitor. Today, though, the CPU seemed to be choking a bit, plus the load times were extra long. The CPU was at 100% usage, and the GPU was only at 50-60% at around only 100 FPS, sometimes dropping to 20 or below, with incredibly long frame times. It was completely unplayable. At desktop the CPU sits around 20%, but occasionally spikes to around 40. Windows explorer animations are slow and choppy too. The CPU is OC'd to 4.5GHz at 1.305V, and it has been for almost as long as I've had the build (~6 months) without any previous problems. Possible causes: Windows updated this morning; AI Suite had recently been messing up a little, so I uninstalled it this morning, only noticed problems after uninstalling and attempting re-installation. AI Suite had changed the OC (I can't remember what to) and the GUI was buggy, re-uninstalled it; ASUS Z270E UEFI auto overclocking, tried to use that to fix a maybe bad overclock, CPU crashed when trying to boot, and the blue-screened after booting in safe mode, but booted after turning off the comp and trying again; Heat damage to CPU (?), friend suggested this, not sure about it though, hadn't heard any jet engine-like noises from the comp, but still viable. Changed thermal paste this evening, old stuff was like a salt flat :/; Something firmware/driver /UEFI related that I don't understand. I'm still new to overclocking, and computers in general. Things I've done to try to fix it: Cleared CMOS; Manually restoring OC to default; Auto OC'd using the UEFI; Defragged my SSD; Reapplying thermal paste. OS is Windows 10 Please help, I'm way out of my depth here and my computer is pretty special to me.

Hey there, (TL;DR: Second hand gtx 680, "nvlddmkm stopped responding"/TDR issues. Pls help.) Im not sure if I'll have any luck as this is about a 600 series Nvidia card. (Sorry for wall of text) I am experiencing the "Display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered" error, also known as a TDR error. This started occurring after upgrading my graphics card from a gtx 480 to a 680. Both cards were purchased second hand. I'm finally using this forum account out of pure desperation as this has been going on for weeks and I feel I've exhausted every solution. This error causes games to crash to the desktop or even pc bricking after anywhere from 1-10 minutes of gameplay with the error above. Frame rates are perfect up until a point where the screen freezes and the sound either continues or is distorted. At times it even happens on the desktop with not much more than a browser and spotify running. This causes the screen to freeze but the sound to continue just like in games. After a period of time the desktop will turn a strange solid colour before returning to normal with the error above or brick my computer forcing a restart. I believe/hope this isn't a hardware error as temperatures are not high when crashes occur. I've also seen this error a lot around the internet too. There's not a lot to see in msi afterburner graphs really, just a sudden drop gpu usage from 90-99% to 0 and thermals at normal levels. Screenshots: (underclocked as per below, can add) https://gyazo.com/f7b37d2593888fd5f96203de4f6dfad3 https://gyazo.com/2b437ca98c41d1cf1c0c8444d73e9e57 My PC specs are: - ASUS Z170 Pro Gaming. - Intel i7 6700k @ 4.0. - EVGA GeForce 480 --> EVGA GeForce 680. - EVGA NEX650G. - Intel 520 240 GB (OS). - Seagate Barracuda 2TB. - Corsair H110i Gtx. - Intel 7260 AC. Solutions I have tried: - Rolling back to nvidia drivers (uninstall, DDU, clean install each time): 341.44, 350.12, 353.62, 355.60, 355.82, 361.43, 361.82. - Increasing fan profile to max at 70 degrees. - Reducing base and boost clock by 50-100 Mhz via software and gpu flash. - Reducing boost limit to match boost clock via flash. - Increasing voltage via software. - Increasing power limits via software. - Using different VGA cables and different VGA slots on PSU. - Disabling windows Aero. - Downgrading from windows 10 to 8.1. - Increasing the TDR timeout time to "8" using Regedit. - Using the automatic Windows solutions. - Changing power management mode to "prefer maximum performance". - High performance power mode in windows. Posting this before I go to sleep, will update in the morning. I would really appreciate any input . Thanks.

So my original budget was $1750 AUD including shipping (which i have achieved with this planned build) but it doesn't look like i have made the amount of money in the time i thought i would - except i'm tired of waiting (8 or 9 months now). There a couple of things that i'm thinking of buying at a later date that aren't essential immediately and these are my Noctua NH-D14 and buying 1x8GB stick at a time instead of 2x8gb immediately ( https://au.pcpartpicker.com/part/kingston-memory-hx318c10frk216) + i would lose an additional $11 this way and a month of no dual channel) some opinions would be nice or even a recommendation to the build as well. here it is -->http://au.pcpartpicker.com/p/DxmhZL there is no way to go ethernet for this because of modem/router location options so i have to get a wireless card. i am also content on this build, so much so that i don't want to wait a month without not having it all (also no OC for a month if i don't get cpu fan immediately) and i would much rather have most of it for a month. thanks for reading. if you don't understand it let me know :) P.S. i cant get the first link to work for some reason
