I had to hide in the closet and then David came in, angry about the music. He was even scarier off campus because he didn’t have the school around him. He accused Chloe of taking one of his guns. Then shit got real. David found Chloe’s joint and flipped out on her. I couldn’t take it, considering she almost died that morning, and I stepped out and said it was my weed. David tried to threaten me but Chloe was awesome and threatened him. He backed out of there quick. Chloe was so touched I took the blame. Of course, she did steal one of David’s guns and waved it around like an idiot. Too much firepower for this girl to encounter in one day. Or one life. Fortunately, Chloe and I decided to get out of there and catch up on our exploring… like best friends.

https://youtu.be/qvCTAPS-la8 So these artifacts are only happening on guns, no other textures or objects. AK 47, M4A1, Galil, Bomb, glock (other guns are fine). And they happen when i inspect guns with F. They are not happening on every map (Expect M4A1). So i noticed a few months ago that M4A1 has a small dot artifact on it but i ignored it, i played then only Office, Inferno, Nuke so there only M4A1 was artifacting with that small dot. But this week i played Vertigo and noticed these 5 guns listed above have a lot of artifacts, they happen when i click F and look a specific direction, only bomb artifacts while i hold it in hand. On mirage it artifacts only while im in warmup room, any other part of map is fine (Expect M4A1, happens everywhere on any map). I reinstalled Windows on new ssd i bought but the same problem was happening with csgo what shoud i do. I also tried setting everything on low and different settings but no difference. Here's video above of artifacting what shoud i do. Specs: Windows 10 Home x64 bit Rx 550 4gb i5 2320 4x2gb - 4gb Kingston 4gb Corsair dual channel 1600mhz SSD: Lexar NQ100 240gb C: HDD: 250MB Hitachi (D: E:) 1 TB Toshiba (F: G:) PSU: Falcon flc 450l MB: ThinkCentre Edge 72 3484N5G - IH61M (prebuild mobo from Lenovo).

Anyone else here who likes to go shooting? Post some pictures of your guns! Here's my most recent purchase: Browning T-Bolt in .17HMR, put some Canada and Linus bling on the scope as well.

Let's start an official LTT Gun Thread. There is a car enthusiast and a LGBT thread. So, I think there should be merit for us to have a place to post pictures of and discuss our favorite firearms. As anyone who is genuinely interested in guns understands there are rules. We must abide by these rules to be lawful gun owners and good citizens of our respected nation/state/province. So will the nature of this thread. This thread will correspond to the same frame of rules, standards and basic professionalism. Rules: 1. Be respectful and mindful of other individuals and property. 2. Do not engage, encourage or display any knowingly illegal activity. 3. Do not engage, encourage or display any negative association or frowned upon gun culture. 3. Value common sense and proper gun safety. Please feel free to post any firearm related pictures herein. Also, feel free to discuss any personal experiences or stories you would like to share with your fellow gun enthusiasts.

Sources: CNET SCMP Quotes: My Thoughts: We are truly entering a new era of warfare with multiple sci-fi like technologies coming to life. Despite this we'll need to watch how this progresses. With lasers like this one having no visible indicator of who is firing from where it would definitely cause a bit of chaos and confusion in the wrong hands.

I’m really interested in guns, but I don’t really know where to start. I’d like to learn about all the different parts, different calibers, bullet physics, etc. etc. If there’s a channel or equivalent to LTT, but for guns, please suggest me it. Cheers

Maybe its time to expand prospective floatplane channels quickly. This is pretty big, most of the channels I watch relating to guns violate this policy. https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/7667605?hl=en Policies on content featuring firearms YouTube prohibits certain kinds of content featuring firearms. Specifically, we don’t allow content that: Intends to sell firearms or certain firearms accessories through direct sales (e.g., private sales by individuals) or links to sites that sell these items. These accessories include but may not be limited to accessories that enable a firearm to simulate automatic fire or convert a firearm to automatic fire (e.g., bump stocks, gatling triggers, drop-in auto sears, conversion kits), and high capacity magazines (i.e., magazines or belts carrying more than 30 rounds). Provides instructions on manufacturing a firearm, ammunition, high capacity magazine, homemade silencers/suppressors, or certain firearms accessories such as those listed above. This also includes instructions on how to convert a firearm to automatic or simulated automatic firing capabilities. Shows users how to install the above-mentioned accessories or modifications.

Howdy, Seems like a good time for Floatplane to go grab some content creators... But also, not much longer till "voiding warrantys" videos get banned for not meeting community standards. How about Floatplane comes out and says they'll host all those naughty videos? Get the word out about their platform? (edited to follow forum standards) Youtube has updated its policy regarding what can be shown. https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/7667605?hl=en Link to analysis from an actual website. http://thefederalist.com/2018/03/21/youtube-suspends-major-gun-manufacturer-bans-instructional-gun-videos/ A more Mainstream link https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2018-03-21/youtube-bans-firearm-sales-and-how-to-videos-prompting-backlash Found a excellent description in a facebook video... Reading some other forums some gun channels are moving to Pr0n hub.

About a week ago, a young girl from Detroit found a gun under her grandmother's bed. She ended up killing herself when investigating the gun. What is everyone's opinion on the gun laws in USA? Are they too loose in comparison to other countries? The reason I'm creating this thread is because I'm having a discussion in school soon, and would like to hear some different opinions. Recently while surfing YouTube I came across the channel Anton Hand and his wonderful work in SteamVR using Unity. https://www.youtube.com/user/TheRustyFist/videos Of particular interest is where he's going with guns and shooting based game play. If I understand correctly these objects and guns perform realistically because all the parts inside are real and move according to the physics in the environment. Here's an amazing video of work on an AR15: Let me know what you all think, because I think it's great and it's got me excited for VR like nothing else has.

I was thinking of purchasing a No. 4 Mk. 1 Lee Enfield rifle, and of course, where will I get ammo came to mind. I know there used to be huge stockpiles of cheap surplus .303 but I'm not very up to date with the current condition of those stockpile.

I really like guns, but I'm not one of those "I plead the second" guys. I shoot because it's fun and that's the only reason. Anyway, is there any gun nuts out here? Just to start, what's your favorite gun that you've shot?

Dash cams of the future. *POW* Article comes courtesy of Forbes Yardarm a Cali-based startup company makes a tiny piece of hardware police officers snap into the back of their guns that contains an industrial-grade accelerometer and a magnetometer. This is the Worlds very first wireless firearm technology , created for the improved safety & awareness of the police officers. Like dash cams or body cameras on officers, the Yardarm sensor could be used to collect more data with what’s happening while officers are on duty. It could help reconstruct what actually happened after an incident.Yardarm Technologies would notify dispatchers in real time when an officer's gun is taken out of its holster and when it's fired. All of this data coming off the sensors are connected to the police officer’s smarthphone via Bluetooth and that’s then being sent up to Yardarm’s servers. Once in the cloud, the information can be routed to the dispatcher’s software suite police departments have installed companies such as Motorola, Intergraph and Harris make this kind of dispatcher software. The Yardarm Sensor connects to the Yardarm Cloud via GSM and provides a set of powerful data streams that can be imported into the industry’s leading CAD and RTCC software solutions via standard APIs. These sensor readings, which are all available in real-time, These data includes : Holster/Unholster – When an officer unholsters his weapon, dispatch can be immediately notified and officers in the field can see when and where a colleague may require assistance Discharge – There is no more critical event in the field than an officer discharging their weapon. Alerts are immediately sent to dispatch and can be sent to a commander directly via mobile alerts Geo-Location - Event based location awareness and history for real-time alerts and post crime scene review and analysis Direction of Fire/Aim – Track and record the direction of aim, providing real-time tactical value for commanders and providing crime scene investigators valuable data for prosecution Yardarm is also building a set of rules for how the data is used. For example, an alert could be sent off to the dispatcher if a police officer unholsters their gun while on a traffic stop, but to not send out an alert every time the officer unholsters the weapon as they may just be checking their weapon or going to the bathroom. Yardarm is selling its device primarily as a police safety tool. Because Yardarm is designing its data to easily fit into dispatcher software, it could help dispatchers keep better tabs on all of its officers. Hiya guys, I know some people on the forum are into airsoft, so I'm hoping someone can help me with my TM glock 17 Gen 3. Today I took the recoil spring rod and outer barrel out of the gun to give them a clean and oil. I put them back in correctly (99% sure). Anyway I was just firing it and noticed the slide would stick when fully cocked sometimes. I ignored that as it was a very slight stick, and I thought the frame might need a little oil. Then the slide completely stuck to how it is in the video, I suspect it is caught on something to do with the trigger as the slide moves when the trigger is pulled. Anyway it is completely stuck and the slide will not move any further forward than in the video. So if anyone knows anything about GBB's please let me know how to fix this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wz1U_jTK8UM&list=UUUL6E2L29qvQFWPFYy0i0kA thanks.

I didn't see this posted in the forums yet so figured I should. It appears the child was playing an M rated game unsupervised and loaded firearms were kept out in the open. Link to article below: Do you think video games (in this case GTA) are to blame?

I was ready to pose a question about a RAID array in my pc, but decided to throw something REALLY off topic here in the general discussion. Gun control seemed to become a very sensationalized topic over the past few years in regard to some violent gun related incidents that has blown up in the media. Which led to compelling essays, articles, speeches and so on about the issue. Questions like, "Should citizens have legal access to firearms?" and "Do people really need automatic weapons?" seemed to be the trending topics starting off college in the Fall 2013 semester. We can all generally point a finger at a certain group of people, institution or faction (Liberals, Republicans, etc..) and assume their opinion on the matter. But I do consider the tech community a very specific demographic, and am curious as to how the tech community feels about the subject as a whole. Would we all generally share a mutual way of thinking? Is it be mixed? Let me know!

Got a kick out of this one, I have to admit. Source This so called Activist group is toting that removing the Gun emoji from the set will help show that "America wants stricter access to real guns"... Whatever the hell that's supposed to mean. Take it as you will, but it gave me a chuckle.
