Goodnight everyone! First time making a post here, so I’m sorry if I make any mistake or if the post is too long. Suggestions on cameras for absolute beginners? I’m looking for one specifically for landscapes. I think it would be important to add that I'm basically clueless about cameras in general. I have researched for the last two days, read some posts on this forum on landscapes, and took notes, but I thought it might be good to ask for some guidance directly. I will be traveling to Iceland next year (hopefully), and I really want to take good pictures. I’m aware of the average prices so I’m on a budget. Say, perhaps 800 to 900 dlls. Wouldn't mind getting a used camera, but I don’t know if this would be a good or bad idea due to possible malfunctions and no guarantees; I have also looked up recommended gear for the Icelandic weather, so I would prefer to travel lightweight. I imagine that the jackets and boots will be heavy enough. Thanks a lot for your time.

Hey, I'm experiencing some (weird?) issue after upgrade from 2x16gb to 4x16gb. They were running with no problems whatsoever on default xmp settings (3600MHz) untill I added 2 more sticks. While running a game that likes every ram you have (DCS World) the game suddenly crashes, even on gear 2. No other issues. It runs fine on 3200MHz and gear 1 (XMP is 3600). Setup: Goodram irdm pro 3600MHz (Polish brand that makes rather good quality products, I never had problems with any of their products) I5-12600K Gigabyte Aorus Elite DDR4 Gigabyte RTX3060ti Gaming OC 850W PS from Thermaltake (GF or so if I remember correctly) Win11 Is that normal that system like this can struggle to run four 3600MHz sticks? Any ideas how to solve it or mitigate, and somehow regain lost performance?

microhpone What Microphone Does LTT Use When Shooting Outdoors?
EndlessWaltz posted a topic in Audio
Hi all, excuse the ignorance... I have tried googling this but the more I look the more confused I get because there are so many different terminologies and systems and models out there. What is the name of the type of microphone system LTT staff seems to wear in their shirt when they are outside such as shooting a Scrapyard Wars episode, or Channel Super Fun? And what is the black box that they would hook on to their pants what looks to be a transmitter or a recorder for the microphone? Does that box connect wirelessly to the camera or it a recorder? Not sure if this is related to the one above, but what about those stage microphones? The ones I usually see looks like a headset that goes around both ears, and it's made from some kind of thin white wire with the microphone sticking out on one side of the head. Attached image is the closest thing I could find. Is that the one? I could not be sure because I have never seen one of those stage mics up close either in person or online. Reason for asking is because I'm looking to upgrade the streaming/recording quality of the sermons at my church that just started where the pastor is just using his Pixel on a tripod. I'm pretty familiar with studio recording, but never dabbled in stage or portable recording. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks. -
Hey, I am a tech and pc enthusiast (and also the guy who fixes the family and friends pc (both hw and sw) and I'm LF suggestions about what I should always have with me when travelling (or attending my tech university, friend houses, whatever) in my backpack (a medium size basic backpack). So far I carry: - a cheaper version of an ifixit kit - a flash drive (with a bunch of portable programs and some repair tools) - a USB a to c converter (mostly used for my phone lol) - a guitar pick (for opening things) - a Swizz knife Gonna buy an usb hub, an USB to rj45 lan card because some of my friends own devices without Ethernet ports...figured I may need it and maybe a card reader dongle... What do you carry around?

Hi guys, I mention everything in this Video here: However, if you can't or don't want to watch, basically, i got my new mouse yesterday, it was fine yesterday. It was fine this morning, then i got round to tweaking the settings, changed the CPI a bit to find what i liked for CSGO and such, then suddenly i started having this strange behaviour where the mouse seems to hit a speed limit, then only moves in diagonal motion, it's incredibly irritating as i've now lost the use of my 3rd profile. I have 3 profiles; #1 - 200 CPI for delicate work. #2 - 800 CPI for general daily use. #3 - 5000 CPI for gaming. Profiles #1 and #2 still function perfectly and do not display this behaviour, even at the 5000 CPI setting, yet no matter what i try, #3 is exhibiting this wierd diagonal only movement. I've tried backing up and restoring profiles to each other, nothing seems to help, i've even tried deliberately making the other profiles go buggy but they just wont go wrong either Help please! Thanks in advance

I have been working on a twitch stream and plan on starting a podcast. I'm just learning so please save your bullets. My main questions are 1.What Dac/amp do I need based on what I'm looking at? 2.What sort of software for the audio? 3.(condenser vs dynamic) (XLR v USB) Visuals: I plan on picking up a Logitech C920 webcam for streaming. For podcasting I would like to do interviews and upload them to youtube. Would a GoPro be a good choice for something like that, as I could use it for many things? Audio: Headphones: currently - Philips SHP9500 future - I'd like to try the Fostex TR80's Microphone: currently - V-moda boom pro future - Looking at condenser mics. MLX 770 has caught my interest. Seems better than the typical yeti. Software: currently - I am just getting the hang of OBS. I seem to be able to cancel background white noise with the filter, but that only seems to cancel it out while not talking into the mic. future - ??? I really am new to the software side of things. Is there anything you recommend for clearing up the audio? >>DAC/AMP<< : I have no dac soundcard or amp. I plan on getting a condenser mic so I assume I will need an amp. Also the Fostex headphones I want need the power. So my question is if I'm looking at using both an XLR mic, and plugging in some headphones. What do I need? 1 dac amp combo with xlr? Accessories: Let me know if you have any suggestions or recommendations, I don't assume these make a huge difference Desk boom Pop filter Back lighting

Recently I have been seeing a recent trend in 360 videos on youtube (Yes it's pretty much for those only) since I am going to be buying a new phone, I am thinking of between G5 or S7 edge (They got a 150$ price difference in the used market, might as well save the money by getting the G5). Back to to the actual question (Both phones have similar DPI) will there be any actual difference between a 30$ phone enclosure with the G5 and the gear VR with the S7 for just watching 360 videos?

I am looking for a place to buy 10" rackmount gear for my 8u 10" rack cabinet (data cabinet), but everywhere i've looked (netgear, amazon.co.uk, cpc) none seem to have a network switch or server chassis. Can anyone recommend a place to find 10" gear?

Hello, Does anyone know what the difference is between these two models? Almost all reviews cover the SM-R140 (and its predecessor), but no one talks about the SM-R150s. Any improvements? Worth the extra money to go for the R150, or should one just go for the SM-R140 instead?

I am having trouble with the gear IconX 2018 with the left earbud, every time I use voice command, the left earbud goes to a volume that barely can be heard even with volume turned all the way up. I have reset the software and let it charge all the way, the firmware is up to date, I have disconnected, unpaired and repaired, turned on and off, and these are brand new so there is nothing inside the earbud that could be blocking the sound. I can still hear the noises it makes but only the right earbud is working properly. Can Get some help?

I'm currently debating whether or not to get a smart watch, specifically an Apple one, as I am an iPhone user. I'm aware of the basic features such as receiving notifications, health monitoring, GPS, etc but my phone can do all of these things regardless. Does anyone that owns a smart watch (not just the Apple variety) find that it has significantly improved your productivity by saving you precious seconds normally spent pulling your phone out of your pocket? I know I sound like I've made up my mind but I'm mainly curious about a largely enthusiast community's opinion on watches. And are there any cheaper options that get the job done that interface well with iOS?

Hi LLTT community, this is my first time posting so please excuse any misformatting, I was wondering if anyone could tell me the issue with my Overwatch voice chat. Every time I enter a match (of any kind) I see "entered the team voice chat 0/6 players in chat" This is extremely frustring, I have tried everything on the following list - Asking in the forums -Sending blizzard a ticket -resetting all in game settings from inside the game -Resetting all game settings from blizzard app -changing mic settings -changing parental setting(just for good measures) -messing with the sound settings in my computer -deleting the game and reinstalling -deleting both Overwatch and the blizzard app off of my computer Any help would be greatly appreciated, I believe that one of the issues might be the network at my university but I don't know, this is really frustrating and I appreciate any help that is offered.

What wireless headsets(for gaming) and headphones(audiophile) could you recommend? My budget for wireless headset is $200 and I'm currently eyeing myself to buy Logitech G933 Artemis Spectrum. My budget for wireless headphone is $100-$150. The headphone should be bluetooth connected.

Our team is at NAB once again this year, and we are excited to be bringing you guys the best NAB show coverage on YouTube over the next three days. But of course, our team wouldn't be able to attend without our generous sponsors, who we want to say a quick thank-you to here! Our Gold sponsor this year is Sennheiser. We use Sennheiser audio equipment at all of our shows, and we could not be happier to have them represented as a key aspect of our NAB Show coverage this year. To check out their full line of creator-focused audio technology head over to this link. To see what Sennheiser just announced at NAB, head over to this link. And of course, a big thank you to our Silver sponsor for NAB, Kingston. Their SD cards are used throughout LMG on a daily basis to create the content we provide to you guys each and every day, and they have a brand new microSD card for action cams which you can check out here. A very big thanks to both of these companies for their involvement in our coverage this year. Make sure you send some love their way in the comments, and if you want to hear more about everything they have going on, make sure to give them a follow over on Twitter: Sennheiser Kingston. So my friend pretty much offered to get me anything for under $40 for my computer and I have no clue what to spend it on. I'm thinking a decent headset maybe, but I'm definitely not limited to that. Anyway, anyone know of good headsets or other peripherals that I can get for around $40? Thanks

What's the difference between the US and International versions? On Amazon you can get the Normal, Classic, and 3G. But there is an option for US or International, no actual differences are listed. Is it just a different certificate, FCC vs whatever their international equivalent is? Or is there a real difference like how Sony had to remove the 2nd sim slot and finger print reader for the US version of the Z5 Compact?
