So I've been thinking of buying a new mouse since my old one is starting to die on me. Heard logitech's g402 and g502 are one of the best things you could get, but after looking around my local online shop there was something strange in the product name. (Excuse lithuanian links) g402 http://www.skytech.lt/910004067-zaidimu-pele-logitech-g402-hyperion-fury-fps-gaming-mouse-usb-eer2-p-199589.html g502 http://www.skytech.lt/910004617-logitech-g502-proteus-spectrum-rgb-tunable-gaming-mouse-eer2-p-310218.html Both have "EER2" in their names, but google comes up with NOTHING about what that is. Searching for "logitech eer2" gives me more results of this mouse in lithuanian or polish sites. Do you guys have any idea what EER2 means?

I've been using a red-dragon m602 for probably 2-3 years now and I wanted to replace it with something with a decent sensor. Whenever I tried to play csgo and try to hit dem awesome flick's my mouse would over spin and go the opposite direction. I picked the logi g502 hero because it seemed to have a good enough sensor and was in the 40-50$ budget I had. When I first got the mouse it felt great, and then 2-3 days in the right click broke. Whenever I'm holding down right click and do anything else with my keyboard/mouse it can randomly unclick. I've tried it in 2-3 fps games every single one I have the issue in, very disappointed. Will return it asap and get something different. Is there anything similar to the rd m602 or logi g502 hero in size/ergo's that doesn't either have a terrible sensor or breaks instantly?

I'm not much of a gamer, I just feel the scroll wheel on most regular wheels on a 4k display makes things very slow and I want a more easily scrollable mouse. I'd go for a g502 but I don't like the idea of having so many buttons on my mouse, I just want a simple mouse with a free scroll wheel. MX master series is also a suggestion which seems good, but I don't know how good the scroll wheel there is compared to g502. If anyone has used both, can mention a scrolling comparison between the two?

I was wondering what the lowest price anyone has seen the G502 at. Right now $40 is super low but I mainly wanna mess around with the free scroll wheel and $40 is a little much just for that.

ok i went over amazon, i am seeing 4 options for a new mouse 1. G304(aka rebranded g305 for asia by logitech)40dollars (3.5k rs.) 2. g502 wireless 120 dollars (12k rs) 3. g502 wired (same as g304) 4. g pro wireless 100 dollars (usually 10000rs but because of a sale it is currently at 8995 inr) if i am a gamer who also uses his machine for productivity, which one should i get and what are the advantages and disadvantages ? note, budget is not a problem but i would like to spend less games i play = fortnite, minecraft, cod warzone, csgo, valorant, con, rocket league my current mouse is a leftover logitech m590, which i had for some reason

My mouse has been doing this for a while, but lifting the buttons and blowing has always fixed it for a decent length of time, however it has gotten to the point where one of the clicks will let go at some point while being held down 1/3 times. The mouse is out of warrenty because this wasn't an issue during, and I'm just considering buying a new one if I can't fix it.

I play FPS games for the most part and to be more specific, CSGO. Been using a regular mouse so far but I feel like I need an upgrade now. If you have any suggestions, please help me out. I'm from India and looking for a mouse under 5000 Indian Rupees. Anything around 100 grams is fine for me. I just want a mouse with the best sensor at this budget and the best ergonomics. For size reference, the size of Pulsefire Raid is right up my alley.

I was planning on purchasing this MASTERPIECE but it has come to my attention that it has a so called Special feature which is an included microphone. I thoroughly doubt there is a microphone. If anyone has information on this, please explain. The link below is the site page I was on. I am in the U.S. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0943HXDVM?tag=rtings-mc-g-amazon-20&ie=UTF8&th=1

This is my first written review in this forum! Feedbacks are appreciated, will try and keep this updated in the future Contents: First Impressions Specs What You Get Inside the Box Shape & Weight Sensor RGB & Buttons! Connectivity & Battery Life Software Conclusion 1. First Impressions I have owned several mice from Logitech, safe to say, this is the most expensive mouse i have ever used. The G502 is regarded to be one of the most successful gaming mouse to be produced, but the G502 Lightspeed is my first G502. At first glance the G502 lightspeed looks like any other G502, with the obvious difference of not having a cable. Unboxing the G502 to me, feels like unboxing a flagship smartphone, premium, with a feeling of "i know i spent a lot on this thing". I bought this mouse for roughly $140 US which is rather cheap considering how hard it is to get and is currently selling for $158 right now (before shipping) in my country. The G502 Lightspeed isn't officially released in Indonesia so i got mine imported from Logitech HK, which took 17 days to be delivered. To be honest i don't know exactly where this mouse sits in the "gaming mice" family, is it an FPS mouse? is it an MMO mouse?, but i'd say it can do a little bit of everything, even for productivity. 2. Specs 3. What You Get Inside the Box G502 Lightspeed Lightpspeed wireless receiver Receiver extension adapter Charging/data cable Accessory box 4x 2g Weights 2x 4g Weights 4. Shape & Weight The G502 Lightspeed feels just like any other G502 but without having a cable to drag around. My hand is 18 cm (L) and 10 cm (W) i use claw/fingertip grip for when i am gaming and palm whenever i am not gaming. This mouse is better suited for people with bigger hands and of course right handed users, though if you have smaller hands you can still palm it (though there are better options than this). My thumb rest nicely at the rather small thumb rest and my pinky barely touches the mousepad whenever i decide to palm it. I would also recommend always using the 1-2-2 (1 finger on the left-2 at the top-2 at the right) grip, a 1-3-1 grip just feels odd to me since the right side of the mouse is rather big and i never felt comfortable lifting it considering how heavy it is. The G502 Lightspeed is a heavy mouse, but Logitech had done a good job to keep it lighter than its wired counterpart using techniques that they used in the G Pro Wireless. This mouse weighs about 114 grams (which is 7 grams lighter than the wired version). i would advise against using the weights, mainly because i play FPS and would like to keep the mouse lighter, but i understand some will add them because they like a bit more weight in the mouse. 5. Sensor The G502, uses the HERO sensor, the latest and greatest from Logitech. For the most part i use this mouse to play cs:go, and never had any problems with it. I mainly play as an AWPer (to those who dont play cs, its a sniper role) and it tracks every flick with great precision and is always consistent and it never spins out, safe to say it has 0 mouse acceleration (which is what i'd expect from a top sensor). I mainly play at 800 DPI and never change it. Lift of distance is also not an issue, as it is under a dvd. The surprising thing that i found out that this mouse also tracks on glass, though i'd rather not use it on a glass surface. 6. RGB & Buttons! The Mouse has 2, and only 2 lighting zones, nothing spectacular but it gets the job done. I personally set it to 15% brightness and leave only the logo to be illuminated to have the nice blend of still having rgb and good battery life. The G502 has a total of 11 programmable buttons, the sniper button is a bit too far ahead and for the most part i don't use it, changing DPI mid game isn't something it should do, thats the job of the buttons beside the left click, so i assigned it to do something else (its the only button i assigned to do a different thing other than what it was intended to do). the infinite scroll wheel is nice (especially when you need to scroll through a long document/website) , while also having the ability to scroll from left to right. I have heard multiple stories from people having double clicking issues on newer Logitech mice, though it is currently non existent on my G502, only happened to me once on a 4 year old secondhand G602 that i bought from a friend. 7. Connectivity & Battery Life The G502 uses the Logitech Lightspeed technology, its basically indistinguishable from wired mice, and yes, its that good and there's not much to say about it. If for some reason you still like it wired then you can still use the included cable (though that defeats the purpose of the actual product, you might as well get the wired version for way cheaper). The battery on this mouse is good, but not great. I use it for 8-10 hours a day daily and have to charge it once every 2 weeks. The mouse charges really fast using a USB 2.0 connection, haven't tested how long it exactly took to charge but it goes from 10-100% in an hour or less. You can still game while charging, though keep in mind that cable drag is now present. 8. Software The G502 Lightspeed uses the Ghub software, and it sucks, it's probably the worst part about this product. I have had to reinstall the software 3 times over the last couple of months due to it being stuck on the loading page, or not recognizing my mouse at all. The good thing is that this mouse does have on board memory, so you can just save it on the mouse and uninstall the software. On the bright side, the software does look promising but it needs a lot of love to be completely polished. 9. Conclusion In conclusion, to me the G502 Lightspeed is just another G502, nothing groundbreaking. Would i recommend it for competitive FPS? absolutely not, there are a lot of better and cheaper options out there (like say the G305, the Glorious Model D, etc.). But would i recommend it for someone who likes a heavy mouse and likes to game casually? yes, 100% it ticks all the boxes to be a great heavy mouse without actually being a brick. and it is still a gaming mouse with great specs. To close things off the mouse has a top of the line sensor, good battery life, RGB, wireless, infinite scroll wheel, buttons! lots of them, and a shape that has been liked by so many. Overall i would rate this mouse an 8/10.

The mouse I bought for christmas, the G502, haws recently had Tracking problems. And i don't understand why. I have it plugged in a USB 3.1 port, I have lowered the Polling rate, I changed ports, I checked my settings, both in the software and on Windows. Any ideas? If you want more information, please ask! Thanks a lot!

It seems to only happen with these three devices everything else stays working and does not disconnect. They will disconnect and will not reconnect until I restart my pc, but if I plug them into my USB 3.1 Red Ports on the back of my motherboard they will be fine. It happens mostly randomly but I do know it will happen if I am using Adobe Premiere CC 2017 and it will happen while I am encoding a video or Playing a game too. This is my PC Link to my system specs. Can Someone please help it is getting very frustrating, I have tried updating drivers that helped for a little while, also tried changing to different USB 3.0 Ports that did nothing. Please and Thank You for any ones help.

I was looking at my mouse the other day after I noticed the scroll wheel started to feel a bit nasty under my finger. Upon closer inspection, the metallic finish is rippled and bubbling, appearing to be corroded. Is this fixable? Can I get a replacement? Would it be better to install a new wheel?

Hi guys, I recently acquired a G502 Proteus Spectrum mouse. When I first plugged it in, the mouse worked perfectly. The RGB was working and the cursor was moving. After about 15 min, the cursor started acting sporadically. I unplugged and replugged the mouse and it would not turn on. It is as though the mouse is dead. The Logitech Gaming Software cannot detect it (see attached file). I thought it could be due to a driver error and I saw some weird looking driver under Devices and Printers. The driver is called, "!-).' /us% 502" which is pretty messed up (see attached file). I removed the driver and tried reinstalling it but Windows keeps downloading and installing this weird driver. In addition, I tried the following. Using a different USB port - Mouse does not light up Ran troubleshoot - Windows could not fix it (see attached image) Interestingly, the mouse lights up in the BIOS but immediately dies when Windows is booted up, which suggests it is a software error and thankfully not a hardware issue. Furthermore, the mouse worked perfectly for a good 15 minutes before it clunked. Has anyone had this problem before? If so, could you please provide your solution? Suggestions would also be greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance and have a great day. Steelfist EDIT: Forgot to mention, I am running Windows 10 - 64 bit

so i currently have a deathadder chroma and i am aware that this is a great gaming mouse but sometimes i record videos and its loud mouse clicks get picked up by the mic quite often and it just doesnt have as much programmable buttons as i would like, i know the g502 has 12,000 dpi compared to the deathadder but i only play on 1500 dpi anyways so that doesnt really matter, but are the mouse clicks on the g502 really loud as well?

I will keep this simple. So I have a relatively bad mouse, and since ebay is my friend, I'm willing to get a nicer, used mouse. My main three contenders are the g502 Proteus spectrum, the deathadder elite, and the steelseries rival 700. Any suggestions on which, or other options? Thanks. Note: I have small/ average hand size and I use an in between of palm and claw grip.

Was looking for a great matching keyboard+mouse combo for content creation and gaming. I figured since they are the same brand and use same software that I should not search any further, arriving on Monday. Anyone using those two?

Hey, I have a Lenovo Y50-70 Gaming Laptop, and a Logitech G502 Proteus Spectrum mice (That's all my peripherals that I think matter to the situation, if you need more information, ask in the comments and I shall tell ye the rest). The Laptop's core specs are the following: GPU- NVIDIA GTX 860M; CPU- Intel i7-4710HQ @2.5GHz (4 Cores, 8 Threads), 8Gb RAM (One stock RAM stick, two RAM slots), 1080p Display. I recently went to play a few games, and the only ones I played seemed to have huge lag spikes when I move my mouse, going from 60fps to 20-15 fps ON THE MAIN MENU (That's the case of Outlast 1, I also tried Dude Simulator and it seems to just freeze for a split second every time I moved the mouse)... can someone help me try to find a solution for this (Updating the GPU Drivers is not possible, as I am using my phone's data plan to be on the internet on my PC)... Thanks in advance

I'm looking for the closest thing to a Logitech G502 gaming mouse, but wireless. I love my G502 to death, it's the best mouse I've ever owned; however, I'm getting sick and tired of the cable since I've gotten more serious about competitive FPS games. As a result of my living situation, my setup is not that permanent and any cable managing I do is often undone within a couple weeks, and I'm getting fed up with it. What I would consider absolutely necessary for a worthy wireless replacement would have the following: 1. A similar feel to the G502. 2. A "sniper" button (standalone thumb button). I don't use this to adjust DPI, but I map it to win+tab for general OS use and push-to-talk in discord for gaming. 3. Software for button remapping that supports per-program customizable profiles that can automatically change the mapped functions based on what is running. (Sniper button is win+tab in OS, push-to-talk in Overwatch, for example, without having to manually change it each time). 4. A thumb rest. 5. Equal or lesser latency. These things aren't required, but I would really like: 1. White or RGB lighting (or the ability to turn off any lighting if it isn't white or RGB). 2. An addition button under the scroll wheel between the mouse buttons (I map this to win+d) 3. Standard cable for charging. 4. A pinky rest (which the G502 doesn't have - its only flaw!) I've looked at a few manufacturers but I can't find anything with all of the "needs", nor the "wants". Any suggestions appreciated. I'd love to stick with Logi so if any insiders have any knowledge on an upcoming wireless G503 they want to leak...

I will be getting my first nice mouse soon for CSGO and general editing and stuff. I'm thinking about getting the Logitech G502 with a Steelseries Qck+. Two questions, will this be a good mouse and mousepad combo for CSGO? And also, I will be keeping this mouse for a long time and don't know how the mouse update cycle, so when will a new version come out, since I like to buy things as soon as a new updated version comes out.

So I've seen several threads on this topic, but have as yet found neither an explanation or a solution to the problem. TL;DR, when I use a mouse with a high polling rate, both my Mad Catz RAT7 and my Logitech G502 do this, my cpu usage spikes up about 20% and I see enormous drops in framerate for games like Overwatch and PUBG. At times, the CPU spike will even interfere with stuff like discord audio and Youtube video playback. I have gotten the lag issues "mostly" under control by lowering the polling rate of the G502 down to 250Hz, but frankly I'm not happy with this fix as it doesn't address the root issue which is that a single USB device should not be sucking this much life out of a 7700k. If anyone else has had this issue, especially if you've found a solution, please let me know as I would love to be able to run my G502 at 1000Hz or even go back to my old RAT7. (I like the RAT7 more, but I couldn't lower the polling rate of it so I was forced to just buy a new mouse that I knew had variable polling rate) Fixes attempted: updating video and mouse drivers updating mobo drivers lowering polling rate (better performance, but still minor stuttering at 250 and 500Hz) Using potato mouse (performance was perfect but the mouse was sh!te so I'm not sticking with that) Changing motherboard I will take any and all questions you have.
