Hi, I recently bought the Corsair m65 ultra wired to play CS:GO and can't for the life of me get the polling rate to go anything above 1000hz without stuttering and causing sudden fps drops when flicking / fast movements. I know that anything above 1000hz is unnecessary and more or less indiscernible to any human however as someone who takes csgo competitively and loves pushing tech to the limit I really want to be able to use the feature. I'll list all my specs etc bellow, any help would be brilliant! CPU : 5900x MOBO : ASUS b550e gaming RAM : Crucial Ballistix RGB white 8GB x 2 x 4 3600mhz cl16 GPU : Gigabyte RTX 2060 (forgot which model, all I know is the cooler was terrible when bought and sounds like a motorbike if the fan curve is set to climb in a very particular way since it hits the shroud due to a bad design XD) (also yh ik this is a rlly unbalanced system but I bought it out of desperation during the gpu crisis and am now broke xD) SSD : Samsung 980 pro 1tb, Samsung 970 evo plus 1tb PSU : Corsair sf750w CPU Cooler : NHd15 Case : Lianli o11 dynamic mini white Fans : Corsair QL140mm white x 2, QL120mm x 7 CS:GO settings : 4:3 stretched 1280 x 960 Full Screen Uber shaders - Enabled Multicore rendering - Enabled Boost player contrast - Enabled Everything as low as possible all bar - anti aliasing x8msaa, texture filtering trilinear Custom view model, cl_bob and crosshair Mouse settings : dpi 400 sensitivity 1.43 1000hz currently Thanks in advance, Lex.

So my friends games have been randomly stuttering and also audio cuts off. ( like you see in the clip) I don't have he's specific hardware details, but he has gtx 1060 6gb and i7 8700. its not a new system by any means but these types of stutters shouldnt happen anyhow. what we have tried is: checking temps, Reinstalling game, different ingame settings, cleaning the pc it self from dust and also programms. DDU uninstall drivers and installed new ones stutter and audio.mp4

Setup: -2 monitors both 27" 1440p run over displayport (main monitor is 240hz second monitor is 144hz) -RTX 3080 -10700k -32gb ddr4 trident z -samsung 970 1tb m.2 boot drive -fresh install of win11 (recent update but still had the problem whilst i was on win10 a few days ago) newest nvidia drivers as of 10th august 2023 Probelm: I play cs at 4:3 1920:1440 setup with a custom res in nvidia control pannel with fullscreen scaling run on GPU (have tried monitor aswell). Whenever i have chrome or discord or any other applications open on my seond monitor (as either fullscreen or windowed applications) and i tab into CS everythig gets shifted off to the side of the screen but goes back to normal when i tab out of CS. I understand that its because of the changing resoloutions and im not willing to switch off of 4:3, nor will i be setting my primary moniter to a different native resoloution so that it has a constant resoloution. I was just wondering if anyone knew a of a way to lock or snap the applications into place on the second monitor. Ive tried looking around and havent really found anyone else discussing this, not sure if its because im searching for the wrong thing, and I havent had much luck trying to get help on reddit. Any help or suggestions is greatly appreciated. Not currently at home but when i get home i can upload a video showing it if thats nescassary. Reminder, i will NOT change to 16:9 and i will NOT change my monitors native res to my ingame res.

Hi guys, I have no idea what's going on with my PC. When I try and run CSGO I cant get any frames above 20. I have rebuilt the PC to make sure everything was in correctly. Had been working fine and then I hadn't used it in a while. Everything has been updated which is the only thing I can think is different, potentially the most recent version of the AMD software isn't stable enough for my outdated built? I have however tried another graphics card which was a GTX1050 (another old card i know) which was the only other card i had lying around. Also tried using another old CPU which was an i5 6600k but each time it was the same scenario when playing CSGO. Any help would be great.

Hello LTT community. I currently own a goxlr mini, shure sm7B mic and a arctic nova pro SteelSeries headset. I feel like I’m having a harder time than ever hearing footsteps in CS. I honestly don’t want to equalize a bunch but just want a nice out of the box experience. I’ve only owned gaming headsets in my 12 years of experience.. HyperX cloud 2 (were really nice) G Pro X (also a nice pair, shitty software tho) and now the SteelSeries. Now I’ve been looking a the Beyerdynamic DT 900 Pro X which everyone seems to be absolutely praising. Now my questions are as so: 1. Is the DT Pro X good for gaming? I only play tac shooters where footsteps and be able to pin point positions are key. A little bass would be nice. (I liked the hyperx cloud 2 bass but it was a little over the top at the same time) 2. Will my goxlr mini be able to drive the headset with optimism sound quality? 3. The headset is open back, are there a chance for the sound to bleed into my shure mic or would that require extreme high volume in the headset for that to happen? Thank you for reading

I honestly don't know what's wrong with the issue, for years I have played with high fps 200+ (at least) and recently my fps at times has reached to 70-100fps. CSGO is the only game that is getting low fps, Ive set prioty high, ultimate power settings, reinstalled, reset, and even followed MULTIPLE GUIDES to boost fps... but I really cant figure out the problem here. Specs: Ryzen 7 5800X 6900XT (Sapphire Toxic)* 32GB RAM @ 4000mhz *Both my CPU and GPU have AIO, I constantly check the temperature and everything seems perfect in game. I have all drivers up to date, some people in the steam forums that "csgo prefers intel" - I mean sure... BUT SURELY NOT THIS BAD. I'm probably overthinking by now but surely this issue isn't as easy as it seems? Remember, only recently has this issue occurred and I have updated my GPU drivers twice ( as in the past 2 gpu driver updates has this same issue occurred). I'm happy to help providing anymore information. Down below I'll show my userbenchmark results.

So I bought a new PC, my spec is: RTX3060Ti, i5-12400F, 2x16GB DDR4 3200Mhz RAM, 500W PSU, 165hz monitor so with this spec I should have atleast 4-500fps in CS:GO in low res and settings wich seems to be CPU bounding, but I only get 2-300 on maps like mirage and on more demanding maps like nuke, vertigo, inferno It can go down to 160fps wich is crazy low, I can definetly feel it, its not that responsive and it just not right. In other games it runs as it should I mean not very good, like COD Warzone 2.0 is on low settings and I have 90 fps but on 1440p Idk if thats normal but yea. Things I tried: -I tried to reinstall windows a lot of times, tried to run games without any background apps -updated BIOS -tried to turn on the settings completely, or turn them fully high, it was the same fps with full 1440p and with 1280x960res I got the same fps -switched powerplan, nvidia settings etc. -I have stutters in CS:GO too, like when playing the first match for like the first 5-10 minutes I have stutters -Monitored the power consumption, clockspeeds etc. I noticed that I had a PL1 CPU power limit, wich cause my CPU to run on lower power when it reached like 75C, I fixed that with throttlestop, turned off the PL1 limit it now uses more power but I still dont have more fps, -the temperature is normal, nothing extreme Summary: So I tried to lower the resolution or the settings in CS:GO but it stayed at the same fps, wich means CPU bound, BUT I watched youtube videos with the same spec, and they all had sometimes twice my fps and more stability, I monitored the CPU and GPU usage, and I had the same usage or even more this guy for example has the same spec, but I could never have 5-600fps on mirage, the half of it maybe, so, he had 20-30%CPU usage with 40-50%GPU I have the same, with the same clockspeeds but half of the performance, why the hell? !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!HAVE TO MENTION this is a prebuilt PC, two of my friends bought the same PC, they have the same performance, So I would say that is a hardware problem, but what? one of my friends have an RTX3060 with the same CPU, and has the same fps in CS:GO as me with an RTX3060Ti and same CPU

i bought RTX 4070 Ti, and i have low utilization of GPU and get around 150 fps when i need to have like 400-500 fps , i tried other games like Portal with RTX, Battlefield 4, Outlast Trials with RTX on maximum, Squad, and everything works fine, but in csgo the GPU utilization is like 30% and 150~ fps these are my pc specs : ᴄᴘᴜ⇨ Intel® Core™ i5-6600K ,3.9GHz, 6MB Cache, 14 nm, FCLGA1151 ɢᴘᴜ ⇨ Gigabyte Eagle OC RTX 4070 Ti 12G GDDR6X ʀᴀᴍ ⇨ Ballistix Sport LT 16 GB, 2 x 8GB, DDR4,3000 MHz ᴍᴏᴛʜᴇʀʙᴏᴀʀᴅ ⇨ ASUS Z170-P LGA1151 ᴘᴏᴡᴇʀ sᴜᴘᴘʟʏ ⇨ Corsair TX650M "650 W",80 Plus Gold EU.

So, I post this again cause it have not been solved, I have an RTX3060Ti 8GB, i5-12400F, 32GB RAM (2x16GB), 500W 80+ PLATINUM PSU (its a simple build so it is enough) Whats the problem: It just underperforms. Examples CS:GO, GTA V, etc. in CS:GO I have 2-300fps the settings in-game does not matter I have almost the same performance with any of them, Screenshot: 4:3 resolution 16:9 native 1440p(same fps): For example just ran into a pc building VOD the pc has an RTX3060 and i5-10400f even lower spec then mine but got like 600 fps on inferno I HAVE 200-300?? even drops to the hundreds sometimes for GTA example video: With these exact same settings I've got 100-120fps and at the bushes dropped to the 60's example image: --->THING I TRIED UNTIL NOW<--- -I updated BIOS -Tried different GPU driver versions -Turned off G-sync, turned on G-sync (165hz monitor) -Checked temps, everything is PERFECT -Checked Clock speeds, My CPU does not running on its turbo clock speed it runs always on 3990Mhz when gaming (While watching videos it runs higher than 4Ghz) -Checked power usage, here I saw something strange, My PL1 power usage was limited to 55W when my CPU reached a certain temperature, but solved it by ThrottleStop, now it goes up to 90W if it has to but did not changed the performance sadly -I have Turbo enabled in BIOS So yes, this thing drives me crazy can somebody tell me what the heck can cause this? Changed RAM solved the power consumption problem but I have the same performance.

I have an RTX3060Ti and an i5-12400F If you just go on youtube and search for a frickin 1650Ti and i5-12400F you can see CS:GO running with 300FPS and with my setup it should run flawless with 400,500-600fps BUT no. It runs like shit I have 160fps with an1440p monitor but thats not the problem if I run it on any resolution its just does not get better also minecraft runs shit I have like 200fps in frickin minecraft, but if I play GTA V it can run with 100+fps with 1440p full settings I just cannot understand, I have 16GB RAM (its single channel I already ordered other but I dont think thats the solution I mean I will not get 600fps plus in CS:GO just because of the RAM) I have Vsync and Gsync turned off I have the latest drivers I also tried with older ones I also checked the temperatures there are nothing to worry about, reinstalled windows changed settings in csgo changed some bios settings NOTHING HELPS, And I have no Idea why, CSGO should run better with higher graphics because then it should use more GPU but nope its always the same or even lower fps, I have 50%ish cpu and same 50%ish for the gpu can somebody HELP pls? I swear to god this makin me go crazy also I feel like I have input lag too, its just not a smooth experience

Specs: AMD Ryzen 7 5800H Samsung SSD 970 EVO Plus RTX 3060 Laptop GPU 64GB 3200MHz ddr4 memory (Laptop: lenovo legion 5 pro) Issue: CSGO Periodically falls from 300fps down to 90 alternating in around 1 second intervals. I run csgo in a stretched 4:3 configuration 1920 x 1440 When I check task manager, I see the correct gpu is being used and the % fluctuates between 98% and 60%. (fps drops occur at 98%) Most of my ingame settings are set to low. FPS should be stable since it was up to this point. Attempts at solving: Upgraded gpu drivers Managed 3d settings for csgo in the nvidia control panel: (selected the correct opengl rendering gpu, set power management mode to prefer maximum performance) Turned off hardware-accelerated gpu scheduling in windows graphics settings Set graphics performance preference for csgo to high performance in the windows graphics settings Adjusted my powerplan for maximum performance while plugged in Checked performance on auto balance and overdrive built in power modes (lenovo legion thing) My laptop is on a raised hollow surface so it isn't overheating GPU temp while ingame: 85 degrees Celsius

Budget (including currency): less than 500USD, the less the better Country: USA Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: CSGO only Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I have an old gtx1060 from 2016, I want to make a good use of it and dont want to waste this thing. The ONLY game I'll be playing is CSGO, 1280×960 with maybe 144 or 240hz monitor. And I need some help with what CPU, cpu cooler(def air cooled), motherboard I should buy?

Hello there, I built a pc around 4 months ago (in dec) that has a i9 9900k and an rtx 3080 in it. The first 3 months of having the pc I got around 399 fps in cs:go, it felt super smooth and ran amazing. Now, about 2/3 weeks later I get around 80-180 at the same settings. I can't find the problem. Does anyone have the same issue?

Games keep crashing once I load into map (see pictures)
WilierRuby posted a topic in Troubleshooting
Hello, So I recently upgraded my Motherboard, CPU, and GPU to an x570, 5600x, and rtx 3070. One of these components have to be the issue since everything worked well before. All games that I launch like CSGO or Valorant or even Risk of Rain 2 work well until I load into a map. Once that happens, the application freezes (as seen in pictures) or crash. I can still click and I hear a gunshot go in CSGO and I still hear footsteps even though the visuals are frozen. Everything else works fine so I can exit the application and use task manager to end it, but it is annoying. I found a temporary solution to uninstalling and reinstalling NVidia Drivers, but on occasion that wears off and I have to do it again. Any tips? I’m not quick to jump on GPU problems because the GPU worked will with my old CPU and motherboard. I can test with my old GPU though to check. Thank you all in advance for your help -
Recently completed my new high-end build and putting it through its paces on a few games. Seeing some unexpected behaviour in CS:GO, while other more demanding titles run perfectly (Forza Horizon 4 for instance). When not limited, frame rate in CS:GO levels off around 400-450 FPS, which is roughly what I would expect with my hardware. However, occasionally seeing huge frame rate dips to 40-50 FPS, for 1/2 second or so. Happens about once every couple of minutes, but very unpredictable. Often happens when encountering other players but the correlation is not quite definitive enough to say that’s the cause... I’ve tried all combinations of running with adaptive sync on/off, running at low settings, limiting FPS, and keeping an eye on system resources while playing. Sometimes the issue is much less frequent, but hard to tell if that’s actually related to anything I’m doing. Not seeing any weird resources behaviour... GPU doesn’t seem overly taxed and the CPU runs under load at 45-50degC (CPU package is more like 50-60). Build Specs: CPU: Ryzen 5 5600x CPU cooler: Corsair H80i V2 VGA: Gigabyte RX 6900XT - connected via PCIE 3.0 riser cable MOBO: Asus ROG STRIX B550-i gaming RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB DDR4 3600Hz SSD: WD SN850 2TB M.2 PSU: Cooler Master V850 SFX CASE: Phanteks Evolv Shift 2 Air Monitor 1 (primary gaming): ASUS VG27AQ 1440p 165 Hz Monitor 2 (productivity, no gaming): Dell U2520D 1440p 60Hz Internet: 850 Mb/s down/950 Mb/s up, speed tests show ping of 1ms Wondering if anyone can provide insight, or has had similar experiences? Is this normal behaviour in CS:GO? Possible server-side lag? Hoping it’s not a hardware issue, because I really can’t tell what it would be. I don’t see any obvious bottlenecks, and the PC can handle much heavier games with ease.

I only play csgo on this pc and had it finetuned towards only cs. I recently just did a fresh reset to my pc to the newest version of windows and now it feels like there's a lot more lag. I'm only pinging about a 10ms variation from what I usually got on the servers that I typically play but its a constant up and down, its never stable anymore. The things is that with every 1ms increase its feels like 10, so when I hit the the top which is 10 extra ms than before it literally feels like an extra 100 and I can barely play. It will come down for maybe 3-5 min then back up for another 3-5min. Am I missing a driver, is something now conflicting with my internet, Am I missing something that I finetuned in the past, or is this my isp fucking with me and its only coincidence that it started happening right after I reset my pc. Any help would be greatly apricated. Old Speccy: http://speccy.piriform.com/results/nwSZzA5j0sKHUBhJkXYDmC5 New Speccy: http://speccy.piriform.com/results/LVxt6M0nPfo6wvghF7ckRdI

Laptop specs: ASUS ROG GL553VD Intel Core i7-7700hq 2.8ghz Intel Graphics 630 GTX 1050 4GB 8GB RAM Monitor: ACER NITRO XV240YP 23.8 inches 144hz Hey, i'm hoping if anyone has a fix for this. Whenever I try running other games at different resolution for example csgo, 4:3 1280x960. My monitor refresh rate drops from 120hz to 60hz. It seems that my monitor can only run 120hz on 1920x1080. I am using a laptop with the monitor as the main display with a HDMI cable as my laptop does not have other ports other than this. I quite like playing on 4:3 and im hoping if anyone has the same problem or fixes for this as running the game on 1920x1080 120hz kinda sucks cause my laptop cant output enough fps for the 120hz and sometimes it feels weird playing it.

So i have a Aorus 17G KD Laptop with an 11800h - 16gb 3200mhz ram - RTX 3060 laptop gpu and i got 350fps in the csgo benchmark test. Everything is on default specs wise. Ofc ive tweaked my csgo config for best performance and what not. And my desktop pc with an 9700k - 16gb 3200mhz ram - RTX 3060ti only gets about 300fps in the same test. Both systems use the same csgo config and video settings. Shouldnt my desktop get better performance than my laptop? I am running my 9700k at stock, but i have multicore enhancement enabled in bios, same for xmp. Or is there something wrong on my dekstop end?

Summary ESL has run about 80% of all high tier tournaments in CS since 2020. ESL is the parent company of DreamHack and ESEA, while FaceIt is one of their 2 competitors. FaceIt is the platform that best competes with ESEA in most of the world. They were both purchased by Savvy Gaming Group, which is backed by the Saudi Arabian Sovereign Wealth Fund. They claim they will begin providing stipends to "up and coming" players to foster competitive play. Quotes My thoughts This, clearly, is an attempt at washing the Saudi Arabian Government's image. However, I don't think the current path of Esports' growth would've been sustainable, without literally throwing away money with no plan to see any financial ROI. As someone who used to be fairly involved with the low-mid tier competitive scene, I think this will be a good thing, since more prize pools and better servers is always a good thing. However, I think this can potentially lead to the Esports scene becoming even more franchised than it currently is. I wouldn't be too shocked if we see similar funds start buying stakes in teams, raising questions of conflict of interest, which have plagued the scene for years. Additionally, I'd raise questions regarding ESL's plans for a Woman's League, and whether talent who are vocal about Saudi Arabia's Human Rights Abuses (among other things...) will be "uninvited" from events they host. I expect we may see Valve take a stance towards this near monopoly. I'm not too familiar with Dota's circuit, but I know ESL was involved with it a few years ago as well. As someone who follows the Finance Side, the $1.5B deal is absolutely massive. Fairly sure this is the largest M&A in Esports. So, I have the bug where csgo doesnt let me get into a game, because of "Can't reach official servers". I've tried disabling firewalls and anti-viruses, and plenty other things, but it still doesnt work. I can get to a match every now and then, but quite rarely. Some of my other friends have had the same issue and we haven't found any working solutions after hours of searching.
