I have an issue when i try to game or anything that would heat up my computer because i constantly have to wipe sweat off me because I get toasty, especially since my little area is in the corner of my room. I leave the window open since its very close to the exhaust fans but it's not enough. living in Florida sucks and its not even summer. ANYWAYS I have a Ryzen 3600 clock 4.2ghz running around 40-45 degrees Celsius at idle and up to 73 max with a quick cinebench. I have a be quiet! Pure Rock 2 BK007 For graphics i have a RTX 3060 Ti Founders edition, idle the temps are around 40 degrees Celsius and when i play or stream the max I've seen is 78 degrees Celsius (I know the number shouldn't make me nervous but it does, it also seems like it runs a little better when it's around 73 which is what i normally get.{I also i have a matx case so i only have about pci express slot of space under the fans} Basically i need help should I watercool my graphics card and cpu so it'll make my thermals better which in turn should make using my computer more comfortable or what do you think I'm really lost, any help would be great

I have had a problem with my current headphones that use for gaming on my PC. I currently have the Bose QC 3 headphones. Great headphones, great sound quality and noise cancellation. I would carry on using them for gaming but I feel like the cushioning has flattened a bit because after wearing for more than 3-4 hours my right ear starts aching and hurting a lot. So, getting to the point, I'm looking for suggestions on PC headsets, mostly used for gaming with a built in microphone. Budget is around £150. I could push to £200 if my budget is too low. The main thing is they need to comfy for my ears, whether it's thicker cushioning, or firmer or longer lasting cushions. I'd like to keep the same sound quality from the Bose headset, but a lot comfier.

I found this HyperX wrist rest that has cooling gel. It's $25 CAD on Amazon right now. I just want to know how long the cooling last, and if I need to put it in the fridge to cool it? And if there are any downsides when it comes to longevity?

I'm looking for a budget chair. What do you guys recommend? I personally prefer a mesh chair with a mesh seat and back and a high chair configuration. Anything out there?

For the past few years I've been using an old saggy swivel rocker as my PC chair, so springs covered by a 3 inch foam cushion. I have an equally old pillow behind my back in a feeble attempt for support but that's not working out either. I've been in the process of trying to rebuild an office chair I found on the side of the road, currently it has a WonderGel Extreme seat cushion incorporated into the seat under the material surrounded by normal foam. This was done to counter the unbearable feeling of the WonderGel's columns against my skin even through clothing. Unfortunately now it's too stiff & it's not like my efforts at rebuilding the back of the free office chair have been successful either. So even though I'm flat broke & still trying to make another $500.00 for the rest of my new PC parts. I need to start looking & researching early for a new chair that's actually comfortable. I've heard those DXRacer chairs don't last despite costing several hundred dollars. Supposedly Herman Miller's Aeron is the most comfortable chair period but how's that possible with mesh or are they only referring to back ergonomics? Do any of you have suggestions on how I could rebuild that free office chair the right way? Is there a guide somewhere on how to pick the right foam for my use? I'm completely ignorant when it comes to what I need as the only words that come to mind are "it hurts". Please someone help, I'm tired of being in pain when trying to relax.

So I've been playing over watch alot more recently and the other day I cut my pointer finger pretty badly, due to the bandages my finger did not fit on my G502 anymore without hitting the two other top buttons. So I was like no big deal I'll use my old death adder I keep around for my laptop and i found my aim was a lot better with the death adder. Now I'm torn between the ergonomics of the G502 or me aiming better with the death adder. Anyone else have this problem?

Chair So I'm back on the hunt for a new chair because mine is just falling apart and I saw Paul's Hardware taking a look at the Tesoro - Zone Evolution Chair ( http://tesorotec.com/project/zone-balance/ ) and it looks like a pretty good chair and is reasonably priced for me. My questions are is it good for a 6’1 and weigh 154 pounds guy. And would this be a good chair or are there better options out there for this price range (Less than $230 is what I'm looking for)

Hello! Alright so I have decided to keep my Philips Fidelio X2 using a modmic 5.0. The Fidelio X2 are really comfortable, the space in the earpads are huge! I do get some fatigue after using a few hours but that's unavoidable. Since I haven't listened to other good headphones I can't comment on the sound other than say that it's great. I recommend Philips Fidelio X2. Here's some links to websites/videos that helped me decide. Before you read below, all information and everything I know if from other people's opinions, I have never owned a real pair of headphones, plan to change that with your help! When I've decided I mark best answer as solved and write the headphones here. Backstory of why I upgrade. From what I've read, open back headphones sound better but that closed can have more base, don't quote me on that. Anyway, below are my priority list. Comfort for long sessions Sound Gaming>Movies>Music (never listened to a good pair of headphones, can't tell you want I like) Price as cheap as possible, max 300$ After reading through thread by thread, looking at video after video, I have narrowed the headphones down to those you see below (I will run modmic 5.0 with the headphones). Below are those that I first thought of buying but removed after some research on how they fair as gaming headphones(information taken from Z Reviews) and that I might need a DAC to really experience it. Please comment about open and closed headphones and what pair of headphones you think are the most comfy and sound best for gaming according to you. Sorry for having to ask so specific, I want the absolute best and will get annoyed if I don't, I don't want to feel this way but it's how I am. Thanks for the assistance in helping me choose Best Regards, Johan

Hey so I have an xbox one controller that I use for playing games on my PC a lot, I want to know if I can make it more comfortable, like you know how the xbox elite controller has those cool pads, thats what I mean. Things like that for the whole remote. This isnt for COD this is for playing some PC games like rocket league, GTA, ect. Thank you!

Lets get some opinions going; I'd like to improve on my current seating situation (an average flat office chair) to a more ergonomic chair; I'm 6'6" (199cm) roughly in height, Weight restrictions aren't an issue. I can game for hours and hours on end, ( video assessments are also a lengthy thing I do) And I live in Australia. I've had a quick read about Secretlab and DXRacer, have any comparisons or better options, preferably within AU?

Let's say you have glasses and you love headphones... You spend long hours around the computer with people around you all the time and dislike IEMs because they've failed you miserably recently. Contacts aren't really an option in this case scenario. What's your best way of making yourself feel most comfortable with headphones on?

Hello guys! Title says it all, what is the best HyperX headset in terms of these 3 categories: Audio quality, mic quality, and comfort. If there aren’t any that are the best in all 3, then I would prefer them being the best in at least mic quality and audio quality. Thanks!

What's up guys, I am in the market for a new desk for my new build that I am freakin' pumped for, can post list if interested, will probably *at least* share pics, when done, on my social media profiles, if not so far as reaching out to here or reddit, but maybe, but I'll want to vacuum first before I show off that much XD Anyways, I could really use a new desk, and wasn't sure which subforum would be most appropriate to ask this, so if I need redirecting, please do show me the way. That said, I am very much a recliner. I have a huge, weighty office chair that is practically an armchair in comfort, only office in appearance and function, and I sit most of my LIFE in it in the reclined position. Say what you will about posture, but AFAIK I think it's not BAD, or perhaps even BETTER, to recline, than remain totally upright. I shift my weight from side to side throughout the day, as well as spending some periods in a more conventional upright position, particularly when M/KB gaming or working on some kind of, typing or editing thing. But my default state is laid back with legs resting up on whatever happens to be nearby. So my question is, do any of you know of a desk (or desk+addon?) that features an adjustable flat panel. for the mouse and keyboard to basically be at inches-above-lap-level, and preferably also with some tiltability such that it is also always parallel; no matter which position I am sat, with enough stability that it doesn't wobble about once positioned correctly, and enough durability that it can handle multiple readjustments daily for a long long time. The closest I can find are the desk types that have those little sliding out keyboard trays, but they never seem to have enough (if any) space for a mouse, so you are left reaching high and almost total outstretch to use the mouse and that is AWFUL. The desk also needs to be wide enough to handle one 31.5" 16:9 panel, and one 25"... holy sh*t (im assuming swears are allowed here since it ain't youtube?), I just realised an oversight... but one 25" ultrawide WTF I accidentally a HUGE main panel, WELP, that's gonna be my life! good thing it's high res and refresh rate, and I'm finally getting the horsepower to drive such a thing! Again, specs if desired, but up until now I've JUST gotten by (until it died, after 10 years service, this past December) on 1440x900 and sometimes managing around to 50-60fps often on medium settings; so this is a HUGE leap for me and I have no idea how long that will take to sink in, anyway, I just needed to let that out, before I exploded... Buuut yes, so thats my very specific requirement re. new desk. Also bonus points for headset stand, place to mount an adjustable mic rig, leg room for some kind of cushy leg/footrest (also any recommendations on said leg/footrest? Included with desk or otherwise)... and... a cup holder (sounds dumb maybe? But I saw some more standard desks on Amazon that had them and now that's a new box to try and tick for my dream setup)... and just like, a good, durable surface that can hold up to some daily abuse. Like, not rough abuse, but I literally live at my desk so it should accommodate eating off it and general human skin grossness; so clean easily, scratch resistant, that kind of thing... I think that's about as much info as I can think of right now, please do let me know if I need to repost this elsewhere, otherwise, I look forward to any information, especially if you have such a specific use-case setup as the one I describe. Budget isn't really an issue, just, it needs to justify its cost, I don't want to be extorted just because I have a very specific idea of what I want in a desk. Amazon (UK, Prime shipping) is my preferred merchant, but any trusted UK store will be fine too. TL;DR Tilty Lazy Boy Desk™, where find? Thanks in advance -WBC

Hi guys So I have had some trouble with gaming headsets. The only ones that I've found to be comfortable were the Logitech G430s, but mine broke a while back, so I bought some Cloud IIs, which after about 2 minutes hurt my ears quite badly, so I returned those and got Corsair HS60, which, for some reason hurt my ears a little bit which I was OK with but it also really hurt my head no matter how I wore them. I have always prefered IEMs in terms of comfort. Are there any IEMs that are reasonably cheap and sturdy that sound better than G430s? Preferably with a decent microphone. If not, what would be a good cheap microphone for discord? Also, I don't have any speakers on my PC right now and my monitor doesn't have them built in so I was also wondering if there are decent VERY cheap speakers for pc (under 15 euros) Sorry for the long post. I'm a complete audio noob and just want decent sound in and out of my computer. Thanks in advance for your advice.

Recommend me a 50$ Gaming Headset with thick foam. Can someone give me a good quality headset that is around 50$ (w/ mic) whether the brand is popular or not, the only headset i know so far is the Cougar Phontum but i can't find this product around my country/region (Philippines). I preffer a simple styled headset that would easily comprehend with the style of my setup because i plan to do a 2 color mixed (ex. black and white) clean setup. Please recommend any headset that has a good quality and targets comfortability. Thank You Very Much in advance!~

I'm in the market for a new chair as my current one is only a year old and falling apart. Are those racing type gamer chairs actually any good and if so what brand should I go for? I live in the UK and Amazon is my jam so something off there would be perfect but really any ideas are welcome. I don't currently have a budget so don't worry about throwing anything my way. I've looked all over the place and have no real comparison to make for office chairs as I've only really just used what was around or what looked good and what was cheap. I spend most of my day on my computer so nice butt padding is a must and a high back for my head would be perfect (I'm 6 foot exactly). Thanks!

So im the kind of guy that likes to buy peripherals, use them a while and then feels like changing them out again even tho nothing is wrong with them, just because id like to try something else and i feel like i nearing that point regarding my headphones. May sound (pun intended) stupid but at least humor me Atm i use the Sony MDR 1A's, which is probably the comfiest headphones i've tried so far. I use them trough a Focusrite Scarlett Solo v2 external sound card/amp My use case and range: - For the moment budget is around 200 US Dollars - Main use will be primarily for when i play games. But also for music and movies - Cant say i have any preference in sound, the sonys i use now are more or less balanced all across for my untrained ears, so something along the same lines cant hurt, but im open for anything to try out - I dont mind wireless, but i prefer wired - Im probably not gonna use them outside, since i already have a JBL 750 Elite that i use when i go out - I dont have a preference to either open og closed back types, as long as they are over ear types. On ear types have a tendency to hurt my ears after an hour of use Where i live no stores really offer hands on demos of headphones so any recommendations are greatly appriciated

Greetings Everyone. I do not know if this is the proper area to post this so fi it isn't maybe admins can move me to proper category? Anyway, I am seeking a proper chair. I have had a horrible nightmare experience with the Lay Z Boy Trafford big and tall. Holy crap does my back hurt once the cushions leaves (2 months after) and there is a metal bar on the back that wreaks havoc on my shoulders. I understand that most people here might just say get a gaming chair, had one of those as well and it served me okay. I'm looking for something that is comfortable and can provide comfortable gaming/computer sessions of up to two hours or 3. I say that because not all sessions are gaming. So I'm 6'1 230lbs and having a real hard time determining any good chairs. So if there are those among you that have good experience or can point me in the right direction I would really appreciate it. Not just someone looking at the top 10 internet chairs lol. Real input. Thanks.

Which laptop would be more comfortable for a college setting. Might be using cad software on it even though I have a desktop I am commuting so I might need to use it on the laptop. People tell me a 15 in laptop is too big. Opinions on this?

So I'm looking into getting new headphones/headset for gaming, and I want great sound quality AS WELL AS great comfort-ability. Even so, I'd much prefer not to spend more than $100. I know "the best of the best" in both those is unrealistic for $100 and under, so I'm just wondering what the best path I can take here is. Also, I'm not the most experienced in this area, plus, personally, to me, sound is confusing as fuck. So if there's anything I should know in looking for good sounding and comfortable headphones/headset for under $100, please let me know. Thanks in advance!

What headphones will suit my big head, big ears, and big appetite for long stretches of listening to audio without my head feeling like my heads in a clamp.

I have a pair of Sennheiser RF175's and they become uncomfortable after about 45 minutes. I have really large ears and a large head. I find over ear headphones to be the most comfortable. I also have a motherboard with a 6.3 mm audio jack so I'd like a pair that can take advantage of that. I have noticed that the Kanto YU2 and AKG K265 Tiesto's are on massdrop. I am trying to decide between getting another pair of headphones that will be more comfortable or just invest in some nice speakers. Please take into consideration I do live with people that don't agree in music tastes, game tastes, or pretty much anything else that will come out of these things so I am trying to stay away from speakers for obvious reasons. I am definitely ok with getting them if there's no other way of ensuring a comfortable experience but I would like to look at more comfortable, headphones that won't feel painful after an hour. I have considered audiophile-grade earbuds, would you suggest any? Please just give me your 2 cents.
