Hi : ) Welcome to my H100i mod! After years of wanting a white AiO liquid cooler to match my colour scheme, all I found on the internet were unsatisfactory results. Some of the solutions people have done before are these: "Wrapping" the H100i's tubing with some white tubing cut along the side. I decided against this option because the H100i's tubing thickness is perfect, and putting some 1/2" ID 3/4" OD tubing over it would look horribly thick. "Modding" the H100i by removing the stock tubing (obviously voiding the warranty and potentially ruining the H100i) and replacing it with some regular custom loop tubing. I also decided against this because it is difficult to bleed air from an AiO that is not meant to be taken apart, and possibly having a leak. For some reason I have found 0 images of a painted H100i no matter how hard I looked for hours. So I decided that this would be my best shot at success: As most people know, PlastiDip is a special paint that is flexible, and creates a sort of rubber coating on any material, including rubber tubing. This is the only paint that will work for this since the H100i tubing will need to bend and flex when getting installed. So I began the preparations. Here is the H100i after being take out from my PC: This is my PC with a spare cooler I had, because I needed it to be up ASAP to keep my servers running. Now I began wrapping the H100i with paper and tape to prevent paint from going where I did not want it. I also chose to paint the top of the CPU block, because I wanted something to stand out in the centre of my motherboard, not just the white tubing going into a black motherboard. I chose not to paint the radiator because you cannot see it when the side panel of my 800D is on. So I finally began painting. But I made a mistake. I followed the instructions on the paint can to add a layer until it appears wet. This is what happened: Hundreds of bubbles appeared on the surface. The more layers I added the worse it became. I finally decided to start from scratch and NOT follow the instructions on the paint can. Here is the process of removing PlastiDip - it is rather enjoyable. So I began again. Thank god I bought two cans instead of one. I knew buying extra would come in handy... This time I sprayed light powdery layers and let them dry 30 mins in between. Soon I was satisfied with the finished product. It has a matt white (not glossy) finish that I really like. Glossy finishes make dust really noticeable, especially in pics. Matte for the win! And finally I remove the paper and tape. Behold the white H100i!!! And now with the fans on So overall this has been a pretty successful project. I would have liked to paint the sides of the H100i too not just the top, but the small cracks, crevices, and connector plugs deterred me from doing so. Maybe in the future I will give it a shot Now for the finished system pics: Let's turn the lights on (my white balance makes the white LED lighting look kinda blue...) Thanks everyone for coming by!

Hey guys! So for Christmas coming up (2014) I decided it's time to make some upgrades to my rig. I plan to upgrade the motherboard, case and get a watercooling loop. I have decided on the Asrock Fatality 990FX board since the crosshair formula V is too pricey, and I have also sorted my watercooling components. I have decided on the case, the H440, by NZXT, but I've run into a problem. The black and red H440 which i originally wanted is out of stock on Amazon and Overclockers uk! Such frustation, Many annoyed. I've seen linus' h440 Review where he had the Formula V and it looked great, but obviously, that with a Black and red case would be even better! If anyone knows any hardware stores in UK where the Black and Red H440 is in stock, please let me know. I had my heart set on the Black and Red however I would go with the White. Some may complain my loop is overkill since it's only going to be cooling the CPU, but in the future, E.G whenever I have the money and time, I will be watercooling my GPU too, although, upgrading the GPU is a higher priority, My GTX 660 is great on air cooled as it is, so i dont really wanna liquid cool it. Back to the point. If you can find the H440 in stock that matches Overclockers UK's price of £94 or under LET ME KNOW!!!!! Thank you!

Hello all. I will soon be embarking on the great task of building my own computer. All the hardware that will be in the case is final, but I have yet to find a case I really like. I am looking for a full size, all white case, inside and out, maybe with some color accents. I was hoping you guys could lend some of your knowledge to help a first time builder. Thanks ~Yahhms.

So, I was browsing and I seen this RAM. Very nice looking with these LED's, and it would match well with the Corsair H80i's white lights also with the Inno3D's iChill logo lights up in white too..so I was thinking of getting this rather than plain RAMs. What do you think? http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-042-AR

Hi, It's been a couple of days that I'm searching the web for a Shine 3 with a white case. I can't manage to get my hands on one that ships internationally or to the US / Canada. This is the keyboard: The only place I see one in stock, Is a store called "PCCaseGear" which is an Australian store that ships to Australia only Does anyone know where can I find one? Cherry brown preferred.

Enthoo Primo unique custom loop ideas?
Totalledwolf posted a topic in Custom Loop and Exotic Cooling
So, I am planning on doing a wc loop for Phanteks Enthoo Primo. I am interested in what you guys think. I am hoping to do something unique so I am thinking White version of the case and purple coolant. Of course all ideas are welcome. Here is how the white version looks: https://fbcdn-sphotos-c-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-ash3/1005936_796173213731924_602699572_n.png Down here are some of my ideas.Only the tubing that will be seen is shown, everything else should be well hidden. Please suggest other colors, it does NOT have to be this color scheme.Otherwise I was thinking Black case and Yellow coolant,I know not really that unique but it certainly is better than black/red, or black/green. As for acryllic tubing, it is AWESOME but i will be upgreading this rig and that is just to much hassle. Maybe I should mention that I am new to wc but I have done my homework on pretty much every aspact of Water Cooling, and I will NOT make an inferior build just because of it. You could suggest other cases but, i highly doubt there is anything better than Enthoo in 300$ range(if there are I seriously fu**** up somewhere since I have been looking at what case to get since...forever) P.S. Green stuff are radiators, again only what will be seen, so in fact those are 480mm rads, top one would be 40mm thick and bottom one can be...well just about anything. On 6 i was thinking oposite side fitting.- 9 replies

Which is the better case? White version ->http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Components/Cases/Micro+ATX/BitFenix+Prodigy+M+MATX+Cube+Case+-+Arctic+White+?productId=58126 Black version -> http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Components/Cases/Micro+ATX/BitFenix+Prodigy+M+MATX+Cube+Case+-+Midnight+Black+?productId=58125 I am really stuck on which one to buy, the black has the front mesh but is it really worth it? I much prefer the front panel of the white version but I'm guessing scratch marks will be easily visible on the white case. Also, am I able to put a mechanical hard drive in this case (e.g not on the drive bracket)? Thanks, Blueprint

Much like the previous Enthoo Primo, a white version of the recently released Enthoo Pro is now listed and shown on their website. http://www.phanteks.com/enthoo-pro.html It features the same metal and plastic construction with black mesh highlights, grommets and PCI brackets. The website doesn't state anything about when it will be available besides being listed under other available colors. First post sorry, was not sure if it was meant for cases and power supplies. But to me it is important news and will likely be the chassis in my first build.

I need some help with my pc. I already installed the Realtek Audio drivers for the mobo and it still can't use any audio device I plug into it. Does anyone how to fix? Greatly appreciated.

Hello, I'm making my first computer and I need help choosing a motherboard. 1150 Support Possibility to CrossfireX one day Now here is the tricky part I think, I'm going with a white Define R4 Windowed, and I would like a White and Blue style overall, so the ram will be blue or white, I'm going with a Sapphire R9 290 Tri-X which is yellow but that doesn't really matter. The motherboard needs to match everything else Red and Black (which seems to be the norm) wouldn't go well with White and Blue (or would it ) If you could just suggest some motherboards I'd appreciate it. Hi all, this is my first post so let's hope it's a gooden! So after I finished my first year of Uni I thought I'd treat myself to a new GPU so I got myself an EVGA GTX 780 SC ACX to replace my XFX AMD HD 6870 (stock cooler). Fresh out the box: Old and new: I was perfectly happy with how it was until I saw Tek Syndicate's video on painting the EVGA GTX 770 white and I decided that mine needed painting as well. Of course then I decided I couldn't just stop at painting it so I decided I would order a backplate for it and some new thermal paste. Removing the shroud: First coat of paint: Final coat finished: Shroud re-attached: So onto the thermal paste. After many minutes of changing my mind on what I would use I settled on Arctic MX-4 which topped most peoples results and was pretty damn cheap too. To clean of the old stuff I got some akasa TIM cleaner. Old paste removed and a very shiny GK110 chip: New paste applied: And finally to add the Backplate: Lovely. And finally a picture of the entire PC: Overclocks and Unigine Results To overclock the GPU I used MSI afterburner. Power Limit (%) - 104 Core Clock (MHz) - +115 Memory Clock (MHz) - +290 Custom Fan Speed Curve Unigine Results: Sorry it's not a screenshot, it would just come up as a black screen. Reading in the top right corner: Graphics: 1421 Memory: 3294 Max Temp: 62° (was up around 66°/67° before I changed to the MX-4) Hope this was all ok for my first post . In the coming months I have an X99 build planned with the 5930k in a Corsair 350d and a Kraken X61 so I'll be sure to post a build log on that as well.

This computer was built about a year ago, and has since then been a work in progress. (at time of starting this blog) The specs are: Fractal Design Define R4 i7 4770k @ stock 3.5 ghz with stock cooler ASUS Sabertooth Z87 Radeon R9 270X 2GB 8 GB Corsair Vengeance RAM Apevia 750 Watt Power Supply MAXTHOR 500GB HDD (I don't know the model number of it, but it is pretty old and soon to go) OCZ Agility 4 64GB SSD TP-Link PCI-E Wifi Card (soon to change) Fans: 3 X 140mm Apevia Blue LED Fans 1 X 140mm Fractal Design White Fan 2 X 140mm Apevia Red LED Fan Peripherals: Razer Black Widow (2011) Razer Naga Epic Logitech G230 2 X AOC E2460SWD 24" Monitors 2.1 Logitech Speakers This blog is basically going to be on the finishing touches/upgrades to the computer along with a complete color change. This computer has been a work in progress for nearly 3 years, and probably will forever be one. But before I am almost completely happy with it, there are a couple things I plan on adding in the near future. First, I want to change the overall look of the computer, beginning with the fans. Currently there are 3 extremely bight blue fans in there, and they look cool and all, but in my opinion they really don't match any of the components. Instead of blue, brown, gold, white, and basically every other color in the rainbow, I am going to go for a white and black looking color scheme.

I was wondering if anyone knew if the heatsinks on the Z97 mpower are easily removable so that i would be able to paint them as i would like to be able to paint them white. Thanks in advance for help/advice.

Hey guys, I've done a thread asking for the best water cooling colour scheme and I got mixed results. The fact of the matter is that its all subjective and its up to the builder. So I thought about this for a bit and have decided on a few colour schemes. Here is the few: White accents, Silver blocks, Black overall Yellow accents, Gold blocks, Black overall Mix of Black and White with some colored LEDs lighting up the system. So, this is simply what I've come up with so far. Its not much but I hope its an idea. I anything else is ok too. I dont mind. The only thing about water cooling is that I don't really like red and/or green. Why? because there is too much of it and the image with builds like these is that they all seem as if they're overdone. Especially green (No Offence meant). Also, Red feels like its too overrated. Just all my opinions thou. Would be greatly appreciated if you guys could help me out here. If not, that's fine too. I came here to kindly ask for suggestions, not to demand them. Thanks in Advance,

Yarrrrrr, Galaxy be working on a white "GTX 770 HOF ICE", (Hall Of Fame) watercooled edition.. It will feature both a white PCB, probably the same as their previous 770 HOF card aswell as a white full-cover waterblock with brushed aluminium plate in its center right. Galaxy did not mention who will fabricate the block but, as EK has previously released a white waterblock for the GTX 780 HOF. I'm assuming this also be their work but that not be been confirmed. It be unkown right now, when Galaxy will release this card. Source, sorry for now only dutch: http://nl.hardware.info/nieuws/39995/galaxy-werkt-aan-gtx-770-hof-ice-met-wit-waterblok EDIT: English article: http://www.ocaholic.ch/modules/news/article.php?storyid=9862 Yarrrrr, Seems great for people with builds that include these colours, and don't want to break the bank on a new videocard. Personally I don't like white in builds at all so I wouldn't buy them.

I just found this new case, I wanted you're opinion on the colourscheme choice by bitfenix. Personally, Im not sure why they chose purple to go with white. It makes the case stand out but surely there would be a larger market for some other colour even if they wanted to be more unique. Link:http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-179-BX

I really want a good gaming mouse that's white. I've been looking around but I really haven't found one. This is what I want: -Not Apple -No blue on it...even a little (my rig set is going to be red, white, and little bit of black.) -Good looking -Performs good -No MMO mouse (the ones with 500 buttons on the side) Preferences: -LED lighting -Wireless (but remember, wired is also good) I have seen these: (but if you recommend them, tell me) -SteelSeries Sensei Raw White/Blue -Mad Catz RAT 9 -Mad Catz MMO 7 -All the other Mad Catz (but their average reviews aren't really convincing.) -Corsair M95 -Corsair M65

Hey forum, just noticed some small white particles swimming around in my reservoir. They range from a size of aprox. ~0.5 to ~1mm and judging by the shape, they look like they consist of some kind of goo-like substance. They also appear to float on the surface, instead of swimming around in the coolant. Speaking of coolant, I'm running destilled water with an anti-corrosive concentrate which contains a biocide (at least I am 99% sure it does), nothing else. Tubing is XSPC UV clear and I am not mixing metals. The loop has been running for about two months now and I'm wondering if my tubing is starting to break down or if there is some other kind of contaminant in the loop... is there anyone who can tell me what is causing this and should I be concerned about it?

I am Planning to paint my corsair obsidian 900D white while leaving the front panel black. But Im not sure whether or not to paint it matt white or make it a shiny white? Tips on how to paint the case or threads to other people's painted case would be appreciated
