A few weeks ago I bought a 850W Thermaltake Toughpower GF1 on Amazon, which worked okay until a few days ago when it started to make a weird buzzing noise. I contacted Amazon and they sent me a replacement PSU (also a Toughpower GF1 850W) but to my surprise, when I took it out of the box it had a different connection layout, but it came with the same cables and manual. The replacement PSU only seems to have one EPS/CPU port instead of two and it comes with three PCI-E ports, unlike the first PSU I got which has 5 shared CPU/EPS + PCI-E ports, which is how they advertise it. Apparently even though they're both the same product name, the model numbers are different. The replacement PSU's model number is TTP-850AH3FSG-V and the defective one is TTP-850AH3FCG. With the defective PSU, I used to plug in a 4 pin and an 8 pin EPS/CPU cable to the motherboard ports (for overclocking) as well as the 24 pin ATX connector, so my question is, can I plug in one of the 4+4 EPS/CPU cables in one of the 6+2 PCI-E ports in the replacement PSU, in order to power that motherboard connector? Or do I need to ask Amazon to send me a second replacement, this time with the correct layout? I'm attaching a photo of both PSUs, the top one is the replacement unit, the one in the bottom is the defective PSU. Thanks!

I just bought a Cyberpower CP1500AVRLCD UPS as the place I just moved to seems to have some power issues somewhat regularly. After setting it up and testing it, I found my computer shuts off when it switched to battery power, and even when running on battery it won't boot at all. Sometimes it will attempt to turn on for about a second before shutting off again. The PSU I have is a thermaltake toughpower grand RGB 750W. I don't believe the UPS is being overloaded because even at full load, with monitors and whatnot the UPS only shows about 500W being pulled and its rated for 900W. My guess is the PSU just does not like the power being provided from the UPS despite it showing an output of 120V and 60Hz. At this point it seems I'd either have to replace the PSU in hopes for one that works on this UPS, or replace the UPS with a pure sine wave output. Any suggestions would be great! Also I tried turning on dummy power in the BIOS which seemed to almost help, but not quite. The attached video is the behavior when switching to battery power with the dummy power turned on (when disabled it shuts down and doesn't even attempt to boot.) 20210731_035542_2.mp4

I got this case in a trade, and I moved my PC into it. Everything works fine, but the fans will not light up. They spin but have no lights. I have checked every wire and am getting 5v and 12v in the respective pins. I did not hook the control board up to the mobo (PRIME Z270-K), because it is not compatible. Does this have to be done even if my mobo does not support the Thermaltake system? Thanks

Hello, I'm having problems with my PC. I have had two graphics cards die, first one was a month ago. The PC would turn on, but the image wouldn't show. Second one died 2 days ago, the PC wouldn't even turn on. At first I thought that it was the motherboard, since the graphics card was receiving power. Talking to a friend on Discord, he recommended that I take out the GPU, since he thought that the CPU or the GPU might be killed. After taking the GPU out and putting in a back-up one (some AMD hd7000 graphics card) the PC turned on. He added that the PSU might be at fault. Could it actually be a PSU, how do I check it, can I get something for the two dead GPUs from the manufacturer?

Hello! I'm looking to pick up a new 750 watt power supply, i wanted 750 watt to future proof myself for upgrading. Though i don't know what one to pick. Both are about the same prices in canada, both 750 watts. Thermaltake seems to have better ripple protection and voltage fluctuations, and maybe a little bit nicer of cables. But corsair seems to be very quiet and maybe has some cleaner power? What one should i go for? I feel like Thermaltake gives me more features for my money and more steady power then corsair. Thanks :)

Specs: AMD Ryzen 5 3600x with stock cooler MSI Radeon 580RX MSI B450 Tomahawk MAX MOBO Teamgroup T-Force Vulcan Z RAM 8GBx2 ThermalTake Smart 500w 80+ PSU FIRST BUILD Whenever I turn on the power switch for my computer, the fans turn on for both the case, the cooler, and the GPU, I get the Boot led on the EZ debug indicator on my motherboard and I get no signal from my monitor, I have tried resetting the CMOS battery, reseating everything in my computer, booting with one stick of ram, booting with no graphics card. When i take my ram out and try and boot again, the leds on the back of my motherboard are blue instead of red and i dont get the boot led on the mobo indicator. I dont know if this is a Ram issue or a power supply issue. My monitor for sure works.

Anyone with a Core P3 - can you please let me know whether the case supports 3 120mm fans on the AIO/radiator mount? I'm planning on using a tower air cooler and using the 3 mounting points for fans to create some air flow, but mostly to fill up the space.

Context: I am upgrading a PC that doesn't need water cooling (R7 2700) to a custom loop to improve the aesthetics of my IT Class' showcase PC for open houses. I really do love the class and what more people to experience it. Because all the supplies were purchased from the school's Newegg Business account, and working with the school when we just closed down till New Years is near impossible. Anyway, all the parts are ordered (the CPU block, corsair lighting node pro, and fans are stuck in shipping) and are set in stone. No returns and no purchasing more parts. Here is what I am using: Ryzen 7 2700 MSI GTX 1070 Gaming X (vertically mounted for looks) Thermaltake View 71 (black case w/ black tinted tempered glass on 4 sides: top, front, left, and right) A thermaltake modular PSU (I really need to find a way to get Molex for the pump, the remaining modular cables are gone and the molex cable from a EVGA 550 G2 don't fit) A 360mm (65mm thick) rad from thermaltake 6x titanium 10/13mm compression fittings from Thermaltake Some all white soft tubing from Primochill (sealed, open box) 3x Corsari LL120 RGB fans (in shipping) Corsair Hydro X block (I don't have the receipt of which exact one but it is prob their most common standalone block) Corsair Hydro X XD5 (D5 Pump+reservoir) and I think that is it. Anyway when I realized the school ordered white tubing instead of clear or translucent red like I asked, I was a little upset because I was concerned with how the tubing would look like behind very tinted tempered glass in a black case. Luckily, there is already a picture of the white version of the View 71 (a water cooling case) w/ white hard tubing, and that at least told me how it could look behind tempered glass (the glass IRL is much more tinted than the pictures on their website, especially the snow version: I already have the rad temporarily mounted to the top with the incorrect screws on the top (in/out on the right hand side), and I can easily move it. But I really can't move the pump except for up and down. I really really can't be bothered to move the pump and reservoir anymore, I have cut myself twice on the case and spent two hours moving drives cages and mounting the pump, and I can't do that anymore since I am limited to building the PC during school hours (2.5 hours for 2 or 3 days a week). The hard drive cage is installed in the bottom right attached to the back (is that still called the mobo tray?) with a pre-installed thermaltake 120 fan that I have already moved to inside the case (instead of the front panel) to actually make the dust filter work. The pump is attached to a fan mount right above the cage. There is about 2-3 inches of vertical distance and about 1 inch of horizontal distance between the rad's outlet compression fitting and the inlet fitting at the top of the reservoir. I need to fit another tube in there and because the tubing is still sealed I don't know how flexible the tubing is, much less how to actually install tubing in such a tight space. Anyway here is my main question: Is there any good (and easy to a novice) way to make all white tubing look good in a very black case with some RGB elements? Reminder that the GPU is vertically mounted and the pump isn't moving, but the rad can. Also: Is there a proper orientation to mount a rad to the top? Like am I supposed to attach the fittings to where the plastic caps are or the metal caps on the opposite side? Looks of the rad don't matter since you can't read the (currently upside down with the metal caps facing into the case) Thermaltake logo behind the large "overbite" on the top of the case. (this overbite is where the top screw to secure the swinging tempered glass door attaches)

Hello, this is my first post! I recently purchased a thermaltake Riing plus 12. I didn't do enough reading into the product before hand, so I assumed that the fan would have one 4 pin pwm fan connection and an RGB connector. Because that isn't how this works I tried to make a work around using wires from an old arduino project to split the connection manually but my configurations fail at turning on both the LEDs and the Fan. So my question, has anyone successfully connected this kinda of fan to their Motherboard for Asus Aura, or do I need the specific TT digital controller? I run on an Asus B550-E Gaming

Summary After the absolutely massive 25 kg beast that was the Thermaltake Tower 900, in June last year the company announced its little brother: the Tower 100 mini-ITX case. At CES 2021 they have now revealed it. No pricing has been announced yet, but a release date of "end of January" for the US and Canada are mentioned. It will be available in black and white and takes up 463x266x266 mm on your desk. It focusses on a ''vertical design'', as they say, to reduce its footprint and help heat extraction through a chimney effect. Quotes My thoughts Personally I really liked the Tower 900, but after considering it for a bit it was just too large and heavy for me. This shrunk down version of it makes it a much more considerable option for people I think, although in some aspects such as available fan space it might be a tad too small or offer too little for its size. I love the big open view the three glass panels give, and it's the first time I have seen a vertical GPU mount this way. They claim its verticality will have a chimney effect in removing heat from the chassis and I'm inclined to believe it may actually hold some ground. It's refreshing to see a case where the tempered glass does not obstruct the exhaust like e.g. in my Corsair 570X. On that same note however I'm a little worried/confused where it will get its supply of fresh air from and I don't see this as a particularly attractive option for watercooling (something I really hoped for when I saw it). I hope to be surprised and to see some cool loops attempted with it thought! Any thoughts on this? Sources TechpowerUp AnandTech Thermaltake product page

I've been watching LTT for a long, LONG time... well not really, but for at least 3 years. During that time I went from living in rental homes to owning and living in a fifth wheel travel trailer, so I held off on building my first PC. Once I was settled in, I decided it was time to upgrade from my 2014 MSI laptop. My space, although not insanely limited, does not lend itself well to large form factor builds with custom water loops. I opted instead for a custom cabinet mounted set up with air cooling. Components were chosen mainly based on price, compatibility, and intended use. I went with what I considered to be fairly middle of the road components as I don't do heavy online gaming or streaming. I did want a safe storage system for the multiple TBs of movies, music, photos, and personal documents I've acquired over the years and opted for a raid 6 array. I hadn't really considered posting this build anywhere so I didn't take a bunch of photos during the building process. I started with a cheapo computer case to ensure components were functional before starting any real installation. If anyone wants any additional information on specifics, I'll be more than happy to accommodate with photos and explanations. Possible issues still to be addressed are cooling (resolution for now is leaving a cabinet door open) and the low end TCL TV that came with the trailer. At the time of posting, I am formatting the raid 6 array and the 2nd M.2 SSD is en route courtesy of Amazon. Primary uses are light work at home, offline gaming, watching movies, and data storage. Let me know what you think/what you would do differently. https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Radar416/saved/ZQ2cTW Mobo: Asus Prime x570-P CPU: Ryzen 5 3600 GPU: MSI GTX 1660 Super 6GB (hindsight would have chosen an Asus for easier RGB integration) RAM: G.Skill Trident RGB 8GB (x4) SSD1: Samsung EVO 960 1TB M.2 (Windows 10 Pro OS) SSD2: Samsung EVO 960 Plus 2TB M.2 (Steam Library) PSU: Thermaltake Toughpower iRGB Plus Platinum 850 Adaptec 8805 Raid Controller Seagate IronWolf NAS 8TB HDD x6 Odds and Ends: Modular power supply cable extensions, disassembled Chinese test bench frame, remote power button, USB 3 extension cables, Noctua chromax fans, and a metric (colorful expletive) load of zipties.

so in the attached pictures, there is one for reference to what im looking to do and three of the case i was given by my friend since my CiT Seven is now smaller than a xbox one controller #sulk_smash so in my case i want to make it look cleaner. and nicer, this build is a msi h210m bazooka mobo with a 7600k and a msi armour 970. my question? can i have a 240mm aio mounted like the attached picture? I want have the fans pull air from 240mm and get sucked out the top as the front panel fans suck inside, the top fans push air out. and gpu is exausted from the 120mm aio through the back. is this possible? all fans are 120mm and i included pics of the case incase there are better mounting options you guys can surjest. ive recycled a h100i by cuting the pipes and repluming it using custom fittings to attach the twopipes back together making it a maintainable soft tube aio.

I recently bought a 2nd hand AMD R9 270X graphics card, slowly upgrading from a GT 520 (I know). I realized it requires two 6 pin PCIE cables which my current PSU doesn't have, and is recommended to be used with atleast a 500w PSU. My current PSU is a 450W Thermaltake TT-450PL1NH-1. My PC's specs are: CPU: Intel Core i5-3470 @ 3.6GHz OC GPU: Sapphire R9 270X 2GB Vapor-X OC RAM: 8GB DDR3 HyperX KHX16C9X3/8 Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-H77-DS3H HDD: 1TB Seagate Barracuda 7200RPM Case: Thermaltake Commander MS-I Since my options here aren't diverse and my budget is pretty limited, I found a Thermaltake Smart BX1 550W 80+ Br. but apparently it's out of stock. My next options and possibly only options are the Thermaltake LITEPOWER 550W that has no 80+ rating whatsoever, and the Thermaltake Smart RGB 600W 80+ which is a little bit too high for what I am able to afford. Should I wait for the Thermaltake Smart BX1 550W 80+ Bronze, go for the LITEPOWER 550W, or save for the Smart RGB 600W 80+? Or can I get away with keeping my current PSU and using a PCIE 6 splitter? I'm also not a 100% sure if all of these PSUs are compatible with my MOBO, so I might aswell ask for some insights.

So I'm using i3-10100 with stock cooler that came with it but suddenly my temps are high and I wanted to tryout some thermal compounds and I only have few options: Thermaltake tg-50, Noctua NT-H2, Cooler Master Mastergel Regular/Pro/Maker. Suggest me a good compound. Also I wanted to know can I use my previous 8th gen i3-8100's stock cooler with i3-10100 because that cooler was slightly better by performance even though they both are Intel's stock coolers. Thanks!

So I had bought a Thermaltake Tower 900 because it has these features: Has a BluRay disc Bay (5.25 inch drive bay) has glass and is closed has vertical GPU mount its so huge its very flashy BUT amazon (UPS?) has so far destroyed 2 during shipping, resulting in returns. So I think its too big for amazon (UPS?) to handle. So could anyone please help me with another flashy case that has the drive and glass and vertical GPU? I'm not gonna liquid cool with a custom loop, but I do have a 3 fan Closed loop cooler. and my gpu is a 4090 so... yeah. gonna need space but not as much as the TTT900. I've been looking for a while but really I can't find cases that look as good as the TTT900 with a disc bay. they either all look horrible, or have no glass, or are open (like the awesome looking cougar cases but sadly, dust is a huge problem for me). I currently have a Corsair Obsidian 750D, but it is too serious and the front doesn't show off very well... also it houses my old pc and I would prefer to leave it there. I unfortunately live where I can't buy pc cases unless its online and it ships to Mexico. Oh and it's super important DHL delivers, UPS sucks and Fedex is even worse. USPS will result in my package being stolen by mexican authorities at any border or customs (I speak from experience).

I have two pc's and the power supply in one of them blew, so I decided to transfer the working PSU to the computer with the blown PSU. The supply in question is a thermaltake 850w 80+gold and I tested it before hand. I transferred it, plugged in all necessary cables, turned on the power and... Nothing. No lights on the PSU or motherboard (the motherboard(Asus z490-plus) usually lights up even if the computer is off, as long as there is power), no fans, not even the PSU fan. I triple checked all the connections tried a different power cable and tried a different socket and still nothing Pls help.

Hi all, I found a Thermaltake Tower 112 while digging through boxes of my old hardware. Back in the day (~2005), this was one of the most massive coolers available. Its weight (1.2 kg - more than a NH-D15 - of pure copper) far exceeded the maximum specs of Socket 939 and Socket 775. I used it with my overclocked Opteron 144 on an ASUS A8N-SLI Deluxe for several years (stock 1.8 GHz, running stable at 2.8 GHz!). I have little interest in building a retro system of that era despite the many fond memories of my old system. However, I think it could be fun to try this cooler on a modern CPU. I know it's probably not going to break any records, but it should be able to handle ~120W TDP without too much trouble. I'm looking for ideas how to mount it to a Socket AM4 motherboard. The original bracket supports sockets 478/775/462/754/939, none of which has (as far as I know) the same hole pattern as any modern socket. I know that some manufacturers sell upgrade kits for their coolers. Do you know any that might fit this old Thermaltake cooler? Or should I just make my own bracket? Thanks! Radim

Hi LTT forums! I have a thermaltake h200 tg rgb with... not the best ventilation, and so was wondering if anyone here could help with my fan orientation/placement. My specs are as follows: . Intel core i7 9700kf . MSI mpg z390 gaming plus . Aorus RTX 2070 Super . 4 x 16 Trident z gskill 3200mhz ram . Cooler master MasterAir MA410M RGB Cpu Cooler My current fan orientation is like this: . 120mm Corsair 31-003606 PWM (75cfm) fans on both front bottom and middle slots . 120mm Thermtake TT-1225 RGB (41.6cfm) Front top, Rear, and rear top slots ] I also currently have 2 140mm Corsair ML140 PRO RGB 140mm Premium Magnetic Levitation Fans (55.4cfm) awaiting arrival. Which I'm not sure if I'll even need them. Below are some pictures of the setup for better visualisation. Is this an okay setup? when the two 140mm fans arrive, is it worth putting them on, and if so, where? Just over all as well if anyone has any other suggestions that would be appreciated, I am only 1 or so months into owning this computer and its my first one and so am not the most experienced when it comes to computers. The max ive done is changing fans and plugging in a wifi card so far.

Hello everyone, I'm seeking for some help. I want to put 4x Thermaltake Pure 120 ARGB fans and 4x TT Pure 200 ARGB fans in my View 51. As I can see 120 have weird cable that goes into commander included in 3pack of 120s. On the other hand 200 had separate power and led cable. Can someone explain me how I can connect all of them, being able to use PWM and control lighting effect? Mobo I'm going to use is Asrock Taichi B650E. If anymore information is needed please write up.

First post, please excuse any formatting errors Ever since I installed my Radeon RX 480, I had a problem where after I shut down my computer and turned it back on again, my CPU debug light would flash on on my MSI B450 Bazooka Plus and then the computer would shut down. The time it took for my pc to shut down varied, and if I was lucky I'd hear some electrical noises, but it never posted or booted up. I fixed it the first time by unplugging and replugging my CPU 8 pin connector, but the problem came back up again and doing that doesn't work. Unplugging CPU power and turning the pc on gets rid of the shutting down after I turn it on problem, but obviously the CPU debug light is on and plugging cpu power back after I turn off my system creates the same problems. Anything to try at this point would be a big help. TL;DR - Powering on computer turns on CPU debug light and then shuts down at a random time Things I've tried: - Replugging CPU power - Unplugging GPU power and powering on - Unplugging CPU power and booting Build: - Ryzen 3 2200g - Radeon RX 480 - MSI B450 Bazooka Plus - Klevv 8gb 3000mhz DDR4 - Thermaltake Litepower 450w Notes: I don't have any other components to swap in to test if anything is broken, although I suspect I did something to my CPU after trying to clock my CPU to 4ghz
