Hey guys, I've built my gaming PC last year and just needed a cheap card until the RTX3000 series launched, unfortunately I have not been able to get my hands on one so I got a second hand RX570 in the meantime to just get by until then. However, some games work perfectly fine (Outer Worlds, WoW, MotoGP, Sims 4, Killing floor 2, Bioshock Infinite, Apex Legends) , some crash instantly (BF5), some load and crash a few mins later (Witcher 3) and some do this odd screen effect (Shadow of War, Anno 1800) Can anyone tell me what is going on with this card? I've recorded a clip of Shadow of War so you can see what is happening. I am not sure if it's software or hardware. https://youtu.be/QhvkmOM4_PA Please if you have any info let me know. The rest of the PC is new and high end, if you would like other specs let me know.

I'm finally upgrading myself from a RX570 to a 2070, but, I wanted to have a little fun as I had a spare XFX RX570 laying around. It's bricked though but I was wanting to try out some stuff with AMD Crossfire as my current main GPU is also a RX570 (Though it's a MSI, but exactly same specs.). I have the bios to flash to the card, but what would be the best method to flash it? I don't want to accidentally flash an incorrect bios to my good card. Hi everyone, Sometimes I encounter a problem with my graphics card, the MSI RX 570 8GB. When I plug in to my TV (an old Philips) via HDMI I can play with normal Colors and sometimes it randomly switch to these weird Colors.. and after a few minutes It go back to normal. But when it is plug to my pc screen (with the same HDMI output and the same hdmi cable), I don’t have any problem. So I have tried with another HDMI cable, the same thing happen.. I have tried to plug my xbox and my DVD player on the same input and cable on TV and nothing happen too.. I have also tried to deinstalle driver via DDU and reinstall but nothing change.. do you have an idea ? My PC is : CPU : Athlon x840 MOTHERBOARD : mGA-F2A88XM-HD3 RAM : DDR3 8gb GPU : MSI RX570 8Gb (sorry for bad English, I’m french)

I recently built a pc which I spent all my budget... The graphics card gets hot and my computer restarts. I can't even handle Sekiro at high settings and after I changed the thermal paste it gets even hotter. The temperature are not that high when it crosses 60c it restarts... I think the power supply is not faulty it's the gpu... What to do? Don't tell me to buy a new card I don't have money...

Hello! I am new to building computers and working with hardware, and I am experiencing issues with my Gigabyte RX570 Here is the hardware in my PC: ASRock B450M-HDV R4.0 1TB Seagate ST1000DM010 HDD AMD Ryzen 5 3600 + WraithStealth Gigabyte RX 570 GAMING 8G MI (rev.1.1) Corsair TX-M Series 650 Watt 80 Plus Gold Certified PSU If there is anything I am missing I will reply with all the information needed as I am inexperienced. The issue is that I can see artifacts on the screen before Windows has loaded (in the UEFI too), see image, and the problem began after I have played League of Legends while recording my game and playing a Full HD Video in the background. The BSOD appeared, similar to the one in image, after which the artifacts began to appear constantly. The first thing I did is download DDU and remove ALL drivers in Safe Mode. After restarting, I tried to install the drivers from the official gigabyte site, however the BSOD appeared again mid-install, and I could only run Windows without crashing in safe mode or with my GPU disabled from Device Manager, artifacts constantly present. I have tried everything regarding DDU and AMD Cleanup Utility, absolutely nothing helped. I then continued to install a clean version of Windows, removing all information stored on the computer (including personal files), which didn't solve my issue. I also must say that I have returned this card to scan.co.uk BEFORE (Yes, I had a similar issue twice, and twice, the card was working perfectly until a certain moment) where they have tested the GPU on their hardware (attached the screenshot of their email) where they didn't find any errors, and after I received it back, it ran smoothly until everything above happened. So, I am certain that I am being stupid and doing something wrong, or the problem lies elsewhere. Completely giving up on the drivers and the amd utility, I found on some forums that I need to reflash my vbios to stock settings (since this is a "MI" card), and I found three F6 files (F60, F62, F63) that suited my card. I flashed ALL three with restarts in-between and nothing helped (I made a backup of the original). As my final try, I have found a Reddit tutorial on how to bios mod my GPU, and I tried to decrease the MHZ to default frequency (image) and tried to flash the vbios with those, to no success. While doing the above, I found a program called HWiNFO64 that allowed me to see the GPU sensors (image). So, my two main problems are, there are artifacts on my screen, and my PC crashes before the drivers can be fully installed. Almost forgot to mention that my old GPU is working flawlessly (Nvidia GTX 750ti), but because scan have said they tested the RX 570, I refuse to believe that the card is faulty. I think this is quite the case for all the PC Sherlock's, and I hope this case will be solved, because this is really my last cry for help.

My uncle recently upgraded his PC and he gave his old card (Rx 570 nitro+) to his nephew(my brother). my brother's pc uses an Asus a68hmk motherboard and looking at the size of the gpu i don't think it'll fit in his motherboard. or i think that it's the case's fault. if so we could easily buy a larger case, here's a pic of the motherboard (dont mind the ram slots, i took it out intentionally) ps. we're upgrading his power supply to a better one. we just dont have a budget for mobo/ram/cpu yet because i recently upgraded to an rx 590

The main issue is tons of FPS drops and the render scale dropping constantly in Doom Eternal. My build consists of a RX 570 4GB (Factory OC), stock Ryzen 3 2200G, 16GB of Corsair Vengeance OC'd @ 3000Mhz, with a Asus PRIME B450-Plus. I monitored the usage of each of the parts with Riva and the in-game performance metrics and all I can see is the Graphics Cards constantly at 100%, while the CPU is mostly around 70% but never 100. I assumed this was a Graphics Card bottleneck, but I saw many other people on Youtube with the exact same card, getting well above 60FPS in the exact areas I'm having issues with. I'd check their specs and the only difference would be the CPU, which would either be a Ryzen 5 2600 or 3600 or an i3-9100F. Right now, all I can think is that the CPU is the issue, but if it's not even at 100% usage then how's that causing the issue?

Today i cleaned my GPU using some kind of cleaning spray and i let it dry and put some thermal paste and tried to turn on the PC but it didn't turn on, but without 8 pin connector it does turn on but no output(CPU fan spins). this has no integrated graphics. so i thought something wrong with the spray. so i remove the pug and washed with water and let it dry tried to start the PC but the result was the same, I put some thermal paste on GPU memory also, could some help me, graphic card is a RX 570

So i have a rx570 graphics card that overheats while playing games at mid-high graphic settings, the graphics card reaches up to 90F and is hot to the touch almost finger burning, the graphics has no smell and my computer doesn't shut off due to the over heating or my psu. While the graphics card is idle it maintains a temp around 40F i have the side of my case off and the fans in my computer still roar. If anyone has any tips or solutions to help please let me know. I have one MSI 144 Hz and one AOC 75 Hz. First one is connected trought display port (eventhough it comes with a HDMI cable in the box), second one is using HDMI. Everything works fine until the displays go into sleep mode, when I move the mouse or press a key to awake the monitors, AMD drivers freak out and after a while it works but it somehow restarts some of the settings, like refresh rate to 60 Hz. Is there anything I can do to improve this situation?

I have tried everything but it just doesn't work as I'm telling it to. Radeon settings ignore when I tell them what to do with a custom fan curve. It doesn't matter what I do.The software randomly report peaks of usage and 80% of VRAM usage when I don't have games open (only Spotify, 2 diff browsers, calculator and email on 2 monitors ). Is there any way I can set the settings how I want?

My PC was suffering of some artifacts and crashing (computer restart) in the recent days, the apparent cause was the 20.9.2 amd driver. I found a number of people reporting the same or a similar issue within the last week. I made a post about it. Anyway, I used DDU to erase the drivers and proceded with a clean install, the issue seems to be gone. I haven't had any crashes while testing with 3D mark Timespy, Timespy Extreme, Forza Horizon 4, Control, Dota 2... What I find interesting is that I got more performance out of no where, I was consistently averaging 72 FPS on the benchmark of Forza Horizon 4 and now, with the exact same setting I get 82 FPS on avg. Control seems to be performing better as well. How is this possible?

Processor: Ryzen 5 - 3500(3.6 GHz) Board: Gigabyte AB350M-DS3H (X370) RAM: 16GB Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 3200 MHz GPU: Radeon RX 570 (PowerColor) PSU: Antec VP550P Plus Hello, I have the setup mentioned above. For some time now, after logging in to Windows or some time thereafter, My screen goes blank and I get a "No Signal" message on the monitor. After rebooting multiple times, I am able to uninstall the Display Drivers and reinstall an older version to make things work again. But after a few days, this keeps on recurring. What is the cause of this and how could I resolve this? Any help is really welcome as I have also reinstalled windows. I don't have an option to switch to onboard display as neither my board nor my CPU has integrated graphics. Please help!! - Ashish K

Hi, i was wanting to buy a used cheap gpu that looks good (i dont game much) for a while and i found rx570 4g that is used for mid load editing and used for 3 years from my friend. I'm actually not gaming that much and if i do i dont even go higher than mid settings not because i can't. So gpu is on the way coming to me, i wondered if there would be an issue about a gpu that is been used 3 years not opened even once. Furmark score is 60+ at 1080p 8xmsaa. Note: gpu is not used for gaming.

Budget (including currency): about 650usd Country: Philippines Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Light gaming, eSports and just excel and light editing practice. Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I already have a processor which is i3 12100F that I bought for 115usd. A Gigabyte H610 H motherboard because I can't really afford to buy a MSI B660-A for now. And a sapphire rx 570 4gb which my friend sold to me for 120usd. I'm trying to build my first pc. I was hoping to ask for opinions for a good ram (have a reputable brand and relatively cheap). Same for the SSD. I was hoping for 1 m.2 and 1 SATA SSD. Hope anyone can help me.

Good day! I just built my first budget pc for freelancing and encountered a lot of problems. Almost are fixed though but the one that really bugs me is that I can't use a second monitor. I do office works and would always use my second square monitor for Excel or Google Sheets. It's working on the freaking thousand years old pc with GT 220 card and it supported both of the monitors. My pc has Gigabyte H610m-h motherboard, i3 12100F, rx 570 4gb, 16gb ram, and 550 psu. The problem is, when I use only one monitor (connected it to the HDMI port) it does work. Both of them will work one at a time. But when I plug another one (to another HDMI port) it shuts both of them off. The pc is still on but the monitors don't. If I try to reboot the pc, it will only read one of the monitor. I've updated the gpu drives to the latest and the windows too. I can't seem make it to work. If anyone has the same problem and fixed it, please help me. I needed another monitor to work efficiently. Thank you!

Im upgrading my rig and the main focus right now is the gpu. I've had my RX 570 8GB for around 4 to 5 years now and it hasn't completely failed me but i recently decided to upgrade. Since the RTX 40 series is to high a price i'll remain on the RTX 30 series. What worries me is if i go with the RTX 3060 whcih is good and cheaper than the rtx 3070 or wait to buy and rtx 3070. My budget is a rather good amount, i can buy the RTX 3070 but it's just to high a price, Is the performance difference worth 300+ extra bucks or is the RTX 3060 good enough. I'll be mainly using this GPU to play heavily modded games with over 200+ mods installed such as Skyrim, Fallout 4, Minecraft, etc. I accept any recommendation. My specs are ASRock X570 Steel Legend, AMD Ryzen 9 3900X 3.80 GHz, Teamgroup 4X8 = 32 GB, Sabrent Nvme 500GB, Seagate 2TB HDD, Kinston 248GB, Kinston 480GB.

Hey guys and girls, I am planning to get me a brand new RTX 3060 to replace my RX 570. What I don't really understand. The 3060 has a tdp of 170Watts and one 8pin connector. The Rx 570 has a tdp of 150W and an 8pin connector. Is it safe to use? How do I know how much current my pcie slot provides? thus 8pin is rated at a maximum of 150W. Can I even upgrade to a 3060ti? I really don't wanna risk overheating my cables, connector. Thanks for the help! My specs: PSU: BeQuiet SystemPower B9 600W with one pcie cable. MB: ASRock A320m Rev 4.0 Ryzen 5 2600 GPU see above (wanna get the Gigabyte 12gig OC edition) 16 Gb 3200 DDR4 1 SSD 2 HDD 3 12V Fans 1 DVD

Hi guys, Need help regarding my issue which i am having from past one year. My gpu is a radeon Rx570 Msi 8gb and from the past one year it is crashing even though the temps are under control. I searched in forums and saw lot of similar issues. The problems the gpu hard crashes my system without bsod and shows random colour screen. then i have to hard reset the pc and without any load it crashes randomly. sometimes it runs stress test fine but after stress test it crashes. So I DDU the drivers fresh install of drivers, new wimdows install, lowering frequencys of both gpu and memory, no luck. It is frustrating me as i cant use my pc with gpu and have to rely on my apu. Hoping someone helps me with this problem. I recently changed the thermal paste so temps look ok. attaching some pics.
