(If this post is not allowed please give me a chance to copy it or move it to Build Logs, Thank you) My brother and I traded computers I had a old spare HP and he had an old broken Lenovo Idea pad U510 with a 750gb Samsung HDD, a dual core 4 thread Intel Core i5, 32gb (or 24gb) m.2 ssd, and Intel 4000 Integrated graphics. The screen on the laptop was hanging off and the the bezel was broken and the WiFi was not working. I got right to work taring it apart and cleaning out the dust (and somehow chips) I had to be careful not to break the screen even more and I got the screen removed and set on dissembling the screen. After I got the bezel off I found that one of the hinges was snapped in half (explains the screen not opening or closing correctly). And after a little bit more digging I found that the antenna for the WiFi was not working because of the snapped cable. I also broke the fan while taking it apart. I went on everybody's favorite cheap site, EBAAAYY!!. I bought a replacement bezel, hinge, and fan. Stupidly I didn't test the computer before I bought everything so I partially reassembled the laptop (without the heat sink) and powered it on just long enough to post then powered it off.

So I have a Dell Chromebook 11 3180 and its very slow this is a Chromebook my school gave me I want to turn it in to a windows device no matter how much it's going to cost even if I have to replace all the enternals even the mother board it self. Our school has all these dumb restrictions that stop me from going into developer mode to actually change the os so I feel like I will have to replace the mother board because all the enternals are crap and aren't upgradable. I wanna turn it in to a gaming computer so an actual dedicated GPU is something I want and I know theres not enough space for this stuff but that doesn't matter because I'm going to 3d print a new base to the computer and I don't really give a shit is it sits 6" off the table If any of you could find some laptop parts or itx parts that I can use to build a new internal system for this Chromebook that will still connect to the screen that would be amazing. If theres no way to make the track pad and keyboard work with the system I can always get an external mouse and keyboard that I can mount into the computer. Thanks.

I was wondering if anyone knows if it's possible to put RGB lights that can be controlled into a laptop keyboard. I know I know it very unlikely that it's possible but maybe some one out there has done it or heard of it. If so how did you or they go about doing it. I have an OMEN HP Laptop with red LEDs it really nice but if it's possible and fairly simple to do then why not switch them out. So if anyone can help thank you and if not I figured as much.

I have a mac pro (mid 2013 5,1) which is falling apart (long story). I want to build a new pc scavenging parts from the mac pro. Is it worth it? Or should i just start fresh? Here are some of the hardwares from the mac which i'm planning to move to the new one- 2 x 250gb ssd & 2 x hdd Strix GTX 980 Ti Corsair CX 750 psu (powering my 980) 2 x intel Xeon 5645 2.40 Ghz My main concern is the processors. Are there any good mobos that supports them? Is it worth building the pc around the processors? Or if you have any better suggestion?

Hey forum im rebuilding my PC and have just torn down the old parts in order to sell some of them. I'm not really here for advice on parts but I'll go ahead and list my upgrades in case someone has a good point or somthing important to say. Upgrading from two 960s in sli to a 970/390/380x/refurbished 980. adding 16gb of 2133 DDR4 for a total of 32gb. This will be done after I build everything else. Don't have the funds now. going from the NZXT S340 to the Corsair 400Q with intentions to mod in a tempered glass window and watercool in the future. Corsair AF and SP white LED fans to Noctua Redux or NFFs and NFAs with low noise adapters. Ditching my failed Kraken X41 for a Noctua NHD14. ditching rgb LEDs altogether. adding in black cable extensions. Keeping i5 6500, Asus Z170AR (broken second PCIe slot) and RM750. Keeping my two 480gb SSDs, one 240gb SSD and two 1tb HDDs Maybe an NZXT grid? Possibly look at what Zen has to offer in the future (Broadwell-E and Kabilake don't interest me) Picture of Kirmit, pre-teardown. Names Kirmit because of the green and misspelt just because I didn't want to change it Sick picture of the fans Now, the real reason why I am here is to decide on a name. Given the silence focus on the upgrades, maybe somthing with that in mind?

Greetings everyone, I want to build a 2.1 Bluetooth speakers. I already have 2.1 Edifier speakers and i want add Bluetooth features to it so I'll be able to play music or movies by not connecting the speakers to my pc with wires. Along with that i also want add a remote to it. I would appreciate if the community could help me with this build. Note: I don't want to destroy my speakers. I want to keep everything external. So about two months ago I made a post on here asking for suggestions regarding the rebuild of my "old" gaming pc. In that post I was trying to decide between the Cooler Master MasterCase Pro 5, and the NZXT Noctis 450. I got some great feedback and I eventually settled on the MasterCase, however, after spending the time working on it and moving it around and troubleshooting regular custom build issues, I decided that the MasterCase was not the case for me. It was far too heavy, a bit too big (Wasn't an issue when I first decided on it but it became one), and even though it captured my attention on the internet, I didn't think it looked particularly good in person. So after a little more research (and a bit more money) I decided I would go back to corsair and now I've ended up with the Carbide 400C, and I couldn't be happier. I carried over my 4690k, GTX 970 Strix, SSDs and HDD from my last build, which was in a Corsair C70 Vengeance case. Now my main reasons for doing this rebuild is #1. I wanted something new and it's tax season so, hey why not. #2. I wanted to even up the color scheme, my last build was black and red with a little too much chrome, in a green case, with a black optical drive, and to me it just didn't look very clean. #3. And finally, I wanted to properly match all of the brands that I'm using in the pc itself (quite a vain endeavor I know but it was kind of bothering me.) My previous build as I've posted before was running: i5 4690k Processor CoolerMaster Hyper D92 Cpu Cooler 16GB Kingston HyperX Black RAM MSi Z97-G45 Gaming Motherboard Asus 970 Strix Corsair CX600M PSU (it actually blew up a little bit as it turns out and I didn't know until I started building the new tower.) 2x 128GB Kingston HyperX 3k SSD 1x 2TB WD Black HDD Corsair C70 Vengeance Case in O.D. Green For my new build I ended up with: i5 4690k (Carried over) Corsair H100i v2 Cpu Cooler 16GB Kingston HyperX Black (Carried over) Asus Z97 Pro-Gamer Motherboard Asus 970 Strix (Carried over) 850W EVGA SuperNova G2 PSU 2x 128GB Kingston HyperX 3K SSD (Carried over) 1x 2TB WD Black HDD (Carried over) Corsair Carbide 400C Case Now, if I had paid more attention to CES coverage and such I probably would have known about the 400C's release and would have just waited for it in the first place, but I only learned of it after I had ordered my MasterCase and just thought "oh well", but after spending some time with the MasterCase I decided it wasn't really what I was looking for and decided to go for the Corsair. And even though I spent way more than I needed to, I'm pretty happy with that decision. The new case is actually pretty easy to work in even though it's actually a fairly small mid-tower, the only real trouble I've had so far is with getting the back panel on with all of the wires in, as there isn't much space in between. Over the last few days I've been working on the final touches like cable management/organization, as well as painting the silver inserts on the h100i, (I had read that the colored inserts weren't released yet on like 4 different forums/stores but sure enough I found them last night and they're on the way now lol), All that's really left on my list of things to do is get a cable kit from either cablemod or EVGA (Going for the red cables of course), maybe get an external bluray player for when I want to watch movies that I haven't ripped onto a harddrive, and I was maybe thinking of getting a 16Gb kit of Kingston Savage in order to enable XMP while OC'ing. I'm still kind of debating with myself as to whether I'm going to get another 970 for SLI or if I'll just get a 980ti but that's pretty far down the road right now. That all being said. Time for pics. Now I do have to apologize as I didn't get any pics during the assembly process, I kind of just got into the groove and threw it together while listening to the WAN show on my phone. Now as much as I do like the simple look that the 400C offers, I did think that it was missing a little something extra, and since I'm barely even an amateur with paint, I decided I'd get a sticker pack and stickerbomb the front panel. I even found some cool metal Corsair Stickers online to replace the painted on logo (though it's kinda hard to see in this picture.) Throughout picking up parts for the new tower I also bought all new peripherals. I ended up getting a Logitech G710 Blue Keyboard, (painted the little blue part black to match everything else), Logitech G600 MMO Mouse (I also picked up a few of the "Glorious PC Gaming Race" mouse pads to cover my entire desk space), Kingston HyperX Cloud Headset (definitely would recommend these first if they're in your price range), an Asus VG248QE 144Hz monitor as my primary monitor, and an Asus VE248H 60Hz Monitor as my secondary. I actually bought a dual monitor stand to use with these but even though the stand was pretty much perfect, the mounting position for vesa on the VE was a little bit higher than the position on the VG making them impossible to line up properly so unfortunately that's getting sent back as well and I'll just settle for the stock monitor stands. So that's pretty much it for this build. There may be a few things to update on down the road but for the most part, it's finished. Let me know what you guys think or if you have any questions, I'd be glad to answer them. Thanks .

I recently was informed of the death of my loved 4 year old Lenovo G575's motherboard. That left me and all of the other components so sad, that we decided to replace it. So I have an old Acer Aspire laptop I destr-disassembled some months ago, and I have its seemingly functioning Motherboard... Just no HDD or CPU. Lucky me, the G575 does have those! I plan to mount a simple computer on a T shaped wooden "case." Kind of a ghetto version of this: I would like some help with planning how to do it. I am actually gonna do this with a guy that works at a PC hardware and repair store, but I still want all the information I can get. I don't expect any sort of awesome performance or anything. I just want it to work and be stable. In fact, if anyone has a good idea on what to use it for, I would be glad to listen. For now it might just be a thing to show off at school. So yeah, my personal achievement would be to have something that works without major problems, and that is usable. I need the rest of the factors and suggestions Thank you.

So I'm planning on rebuilding my current gaming rig and I was hoping to get some help with deciding on what parts I should go with. Now there's really no need to do this build other than the fact that I want to change things up, but what I have planned for the rebuild is to switch to a new case, motherboard, power supply, switch to liquid cooling, add another graphics card, some new monitors, and a few other small things. I already know what parts that I want to get but I need some help choosing between two builds. The first would be a build designed around the CoolerMaster MasterCase Pro 5: PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant CPU: Intel Core i5-4690K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor (Purchased For $227.99) CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Nepton 280L 122.5 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler ($139.99 @ NCIX US) Motherboard: Asus Z97 PRO GAMER ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($163.88 @ OutletPC) Memory: Kingston HyperX Fury Black 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1600 Memory (Purchased For $76.99) Storage: Kingston HyperX 3K 120GB 2.5" Solid State Drive (Purchased For $119.98) Storage: Kingston HyperX 3K 120GB 2.5" Solid State Drive (Purchased For $119.98) Storage: Western Digital BLACK SERIES 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive (Purchased For $119.99) Video Card: Asus GeForce GTX 970 4GB STRIX Video Card (2-Way SLI) (Purchased For $349.99) Video Card: Asus GeForce GTX 970 4GB STRIX Video Card (2-Way SLI) ($319.00 @ NCIX US) Case: Cooler Master MasterCase Pro 5 ATX Mid Tower Case ($127.99 @ NCIX US) Power Supply: Cooler Master V850 850W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply ($149.99 @ Newegg) Optical Drive: Asus BC-12B1ST/BLK/B/AS Blu-Ray Reader, DVD/CD Writer ($53.89 @ OutletPC) Wireless Network Adapter: Netgear A6210-100PAS 802.11a/b/g/n/ac USB 3.0 Wi-Fi Adapter (Purchased For $59.99) Monitor: Asus VE248H 24.0" Monitor ($141.98 @ Newegg) Monitor: Asus VG248QE 144Hz 24.0" Monitor ($259.99 @ Amazon) Keyboard: Logitech G710 Wired Gaming Keyboard (Purchased For $83.79) Mouse: Logitech G600 MMO Gaming Mouse Wired Laser Mouse (Purchased For $51.99) Headphones: Logitech G430 7.1 Channel Headset (Purchased For $59.99) External Storage: Seagate Expansion 4TB External Hard Drive ($109.99 @ Best Buy) Other: Fan Splitter ($2.29) Other: Phobya Extension Cable, 3-Pin, 30cm, Sleeved, Black, 4-pack ($11.99) Other: 4-pin Molex LP4 to 3-pin TX3 ($1.25) Other: DisplayPort Cable ($10.99) Other: DVI-D Cable ($5.99) Total: $2769.89 Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available Generated by PCPartPicker 2016-01-22 00:21 EST-0500 Notice that I already have some parts listed as bought. Most people don't bother with them anymore) but I could save a small bit with the NZXT build and quite frankly I think the Noctis is a much better looking case, but I would have to get an external optical drive. And for those of you wondering why I don't just combine the cheaper parts of the two lists and go with that, I'm apparently somewhat OCD about what brands I want to use for my pc and I would like to match parts and manufacturers as best I can. So if anyone has suggestions I'd quite like to hear them. Thanks everyone.

Terve! A friend of mine has had a DELL XPS M1730 - I can search about more info about that thing if needed. Recently it died and he does not have a backup of his files. Thinking about Linus XPS 13 I said that I should be able to read the data off his HDD without too much problem. Now, when I have the Laptop with me, I have had a bad surprise: the HDD is a RAID 0 of 2 HDDs. A quick google search told me that it's managed by an Intel ICH8M Controller. In order to successfully read the data off the disks I'd require an other one of them. That however is a little tricky, since I do not know a lot about RAID controllers. I also have not tried to plug them into my ASUS P8H67m evo, Gigabyte 990FXA UD5 or ASUS 990FX TUF (or something like that). I have also attempted other ways like pluging in an other monitor to get an image (the laptop boots, but there is no image on screen) or use the network to do something. Both attempts failed because there was no screenoutput on the port and it was not showing up on the LAN. Somebody got an idea what I can do? Sayonara!

I have a MSI x99s Motherboard and have 2 ssd in Raid 0. I had a backup mechanical HDD for my music, pictures and stuff. Well I was wanting to make a Raid 1 for my backup drive. I bought my second drive installed it and backed up my backup drive. I went to create the Raid 1 array and it asked my to wipe my drive. Well little did I know that this ended up wiping my Raid 0 which has my OS, games and some files I didnt have backed up. The drive is still intact I haven't written over it. I ended up reinstalling windows on my Raid 1 temporarily until I could find a solution to recover/rebuild my Raid 0. Is there a solution that I can bring all my files back and some how not have to reinstall my OS and all my programs. Second solution is there a possible free recovery software that I can access the Raid 0 which doesn't have a drive letter on windows and recover my data some how. Thanks in advance. I will be awaiting responses for anyone who may need more info.

Hi there fellow pc-master race'ians. A couple of years back i bought a medion akoya p5334 F from the official site. Ive been grinding games for hours on end and so far ive been quite satisfied . I havent got the latest setup (my screen is still a peasantry 1690x 1050), below i'll try and giva a cmplete rundown on the parts indside my pc now: CPU: I7 3770 (which i want to maintain) GPU: gtx650 1gig GDDR5 which is running in an old PCI-e version (not 3.0) Motherboard: Z77 chipset power supply: 350 watt memory: 2x4 gig of ddr3 compatible with the motherboard (excuse me for not knowing the full name or stuff of this , i know there's a lot more to this) SSD: 64 gigs for booting (i want to keep this) SATA: 2 Terrabyte (intend on keeping this aswell) SO the jist of it is; I miss the days of having games running in high settings and smooth frames (most games are playable , but with lowered settings). I also think upgrading to 1080p is a MUST. what i have in mind is : -swap out the motherboard for one that can take newer graphics cards and in the future put them in SLI maybe ? -Have new (read:more) ram and maintain the 2 old ram sticks if possible. -A better power supply -get a better graphics card that is suited for 1080p gaming on 1 screen only -maintain the cpu as i think it is still good. -keep all the data and still have an OS. -keep cd reader and burner. -keep the case -get a new heat sink? -buy a good 1080p gaming screen -retreat in the mancave forever Ive done some scouting and i think i have found some parts that might work , you tell me ! Motherboard http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007KTY4A6?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=ox_sc_act_title_4&smid=AD21V1UPTSCVD going to get one used i think. Heatsink http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005O65JXI?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=ox_sc_act_title_6&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER power supply (btw 650 watts overkill or underkill ?) http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00EON40CS?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=ox_sc_act_title_3&smid=A1NAVOX3XE5VZM Graphics http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B014N20FQE?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=ox_sc_act_title_2&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER RAM http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00U91YQBY?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=ox_sc_act_title_2&smid=A1EG1PSPAL6ZIA Thermal paste for good measure http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000OGX5AM?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=ox_sc_act_title_5&smid=A1HNC035CZ2MR5 The grand total for this system is $509 plus a monitor . is this wurf ? I am interested in opinionated opinions solong ps : is amazon a good place to look for parts ? XRhino

OK guys, this is the first time I've used this forum. but I need help. I need to rebuild my computer practically from scratch. When I first got my gaming computer I was very stupid and careless. I messed with the liquid cooler and took it off just to look at my new CPU back in early 2012, and ended putting it back on without the pump plugged in. OOPS, so i ran my CPU at 100C+ for about 2 weeks, freaking out over why my computer kept just shutting off without warning. then i got wise and figured it out. but now in 2015 i think i probably damaged it. and now my gigabyte X79-UP4 motherboard is failing, one of my ram sticks don't show up (12GB out of 16GB) my ram cards are old Kingston Hyper X 1333Mhz cards 4 kit. and now my computer keeps crashing after about 5 hours of use with the error Memory_Management. that and the fact that i opened majority of my hard drives and have probably killed my 4TB hard rive, cause it no longer shows up unless i have another hard drive plugged in (this is not my OS drive). killed my original 2TB regular harddrive, cause its completely broken. and damaged my current 2TB SSHD OS drive. my SSD is completely fine though and i scrapped a 3TB western digital HDD from a network store bought NAS. then after taking my computer apart so many times to clean and fix it, I've lost to many parts to the case, it looks like i ghettoed the shit out of it. font panels are missing, im missing case screws, etc. i currently have a EVGA 980 GPU and a EVGA 770 they are both completely fine as well, so no need to replace them. i have lost screws for the 2 LG Blu-Ray drives i have. and my power supply is completely fine. also it is a EVGA V1000 modular PSU, so no need to replace it. also my CPU is a i7-3820, and my case is the coolermaster HAF X. i would like to get another HAF X to replace the current one i have, cause i have 2 massive fans on top of the one i have currently that i would be putting into the new one. i also recently replaced my liquid cooler cause the reservoir pump died, now i have a closed loop liquid cooler. but enough with the back story, here is what i need my computer to be-able to do within my budget if possible. i would like one of the newer i7 processors, because i don't just play hardcore games on my current rig, but i also do a lot of video editing with programs like sony vegas, and do alot of image editing and after effects. so i would like to have a fast processor that can do video editing, as well as hardcore games like say Crysis, and maybe even arma 3. i really would like to stick with 16GB of ram. and have a mother board that can support my PCI capturecard, as well as maybe a desktop internal WI-FI Bluetooth card. as well as room for more GPUs in the future maybe. i also need to replace my current 2TB SSHD, and my 4TB HDD with maybe a 4TB SSHD, cause i use it for alot of storage for recordings and applications to keep my main OS drive lightening fast, or well as fast as a harddrive can really be please i could really use some help here, i don't know much about upgrading to new stuff and what i would need to get, I've tried its all so confusing please help

Hey everyone! My GTX 690 has gone to sh*t lately, so i'm going to upgrade my GPU. But in the process, i might aswell update some of my other parts, and those include: -a new Chassis -New PSU for R9 390 Nitro. -Cooling for OC. Now, for the GPU, i'm looking at the R9 390 Nitro, since the AMD market is a little cheaper than the Nvidia market here in Denmark. As for the new chassis, i've been looking at the Corsair Graphite 760T, since it looks REALLY awesome, and it provides lots of workspace for later on. As for the PSU, i have no idea whether i need to upgrade, since i bought the PC through a company, that custom-builds PCs back in 2012. For the cooling, i have no clue as to what is neccessary, but i've heard that AMD GPUs typically run a lot hotter than Nvidia, and tend to need better cooling all around. I would also like to OC if possible. My current speccs look like this: https://i.imgur.com/wyrWsF9.png And last, but not least, what i expect from the build: I'd like to run GTA V at High/Ultra settings, at around the 60 FPS mark. I'm also wating for Fallout 4 to release, but if it runs GTA at nice speeds, it should be able to do Fallout 4 just fine. My budget is around 700-900€, i'm a little flexible, but would like to stay around the 600-700€ mark. Thank you for reading!

Hello all! So my neighbor got an old computer for free from his office, and is looking for me to upgrade it so his son can play Minecraft. I tried updating drivers, etc but still runs less than a frame per second at lowest settings. He has a budget of about $200. The current specs are: Pentium E3500 @ 2.6gHz, LGA 775 socket -6gb of DDR2 RAM -Decent ~500w PSU (does not need to be upgraded) -500gb to 1tb hard drive (does not need to be upgraded) Am I on the right track here? I hear Minecraft is oddly optimized. Hi guys, My company has a server running on Linux SUSE 11 (something or other) in RAID 5 with 4 x 1TB drives. One of them failed and we replaced it with a new one. However, the guy who set up this server is gone now and we are lost on how to rebuild the array. It's prompted us with something regarding "repair the partition?" Very vague, I know, but I'm kind of completely lost on how to fix this. Any help is appreciated. We have a backup server running as the primary one atm, but it's set in "read only" so no one can mess with it. Any help is appreciated, and this is a sort of high priority thing. Thanks, Vitalius

So, here are my plans. I have a rig, of which the specs are in my signature. The case is beat, the watercooler doesn't fit, the power supply is cheap, the video card isn't strong enough for me, and the fans are too loud. I want to fix some issues, and also restyle it. So, this is what I plan on getting: 80+ Bronze/Gold PSU, 600-700W GTX 770 of some type/ Radeon 9950 (not the final name, of course) Corsair C70 Arctic White A few (2-4) Noctua NF-F12 PWM 120mm fans Orange sleeved power supply extensions NZXT HUE RGB LED controller (or any blue LEDs) It is supposed to be an Orange, Blue, Brown and White color scheme. Thoughts on this? Is there anything you would change? Also, any PSU suggestions? I haven't been able to find orange sleeved cables, does anyone know of any? Note: There is a $900 USD Budget.

Hi guys, Let's say you are a young network administrator. And you have to build a small network for a company that allows them to access shares on a file server, print to specific folders on it, and things of that nature. And you are new to it all, so you do what you can, and set everything up and it all works (mostly). Then one day, as the company grows, things start breaking. People can't write to drives anymore because you were toying with groups in Active Directory and you can't figure out how to fix them back. The file servers (multiple now) won't replicate between each other using Windows Server Replication feature. People can't scan to their folders anymore, and generally, everything is breaking. No one has ever been a domain user on their machines, but only accessed folders and printers/scanners on the domain (i.e. their profiles are local and they basically log in as two different users, the local one for the machine, and the domain one for the folders/shares). If you look at everything, and I mean everything, it appears to be in a constant "test" phase. And people still have to keep working, and they often work 7AM-8PM Mon-Fri (people have varying shifts) and sometimes on Saturdays and Sundays. What do you do to fix things? And I mean really fix them. Not put a bandaid over the issue and rock on like you've always been. Thanks, Vitalius Edit: My natural instinct in this situation is "Reboot". Or the IT Crowd's infamous, "Have you tried turning it off and on again?" Which, for me, means nuke it and start over. Nuke it meaning "Destroy everything". Not the files of course, but the domain itself and begin anew. But that takes time, and the current one is still needed so people can work. I'm kind of at a loss for where to go from here...

Dear Community, I'm currently starting on a new project for a friend. My friends name is Jonny, he's been though tough times and we've been friends for a very long time. His family doesn't have much money, currently living on social security from his passed father and their mothers small income. I've been with him and still great friends even though these tough times, now I want to do something for him. Jonny is currently running a very crappy computer, crashing out of games roughly every 20-40 minutes. Currently he runs a old old AMD Quad core which two cores are dead / no longer functional, 4 Gigabytes of Ram, 500 Gigabyte of Hard drive and two Nvidia 8900's. I'm currently phasing out of some of my old hardware and want to put this gear into my build for him. I want to build this system using his favorite colors and setup he's dreamed of. Currently I'll be using a Corsair 600T for the build which will be painted orange with black accents, Sandy Bridge Asus Motherboard, 16gb Vengeance Ram, 1tb Wd Black, 2600k Core I7, Zalman Water Cooler, Nvidia GTX 770 along with Windows 8.1. I need help on this rig, I'm building this rig for him since he's lived a horrible life and I want to help him now . Please give me any advise you want to give, I'm completely open on suggestions, also pictures will start coming in very soon of the case modding. - Please note : These parts to put in the new rig may change over time and I'm investing personal money into this rig for him. Jonny's Color Scheme - Orange and Blue - Please Note (edit) : I know their is a lot of people who have worse and the same condition as my friend, however I've been through his times with him and wish to give back. - Parts Core I7 2600k Corsair Vengence 16gb or Crucial 8gb [crucial done] Gigabyte GTX770 Asus P8p67 Deluxe [done] Zalman 315 Water Cooler [done] Corsair GS 600watt WD Black 1tb Windows 8.1 64 bit Corsair 600t [done]
