I'm not a complete newbie with audio gear, but I haven't had my hands on many mixers. I'm looking at this one for a very specific use case with alot of digital routing: https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/XR12--behringer-by-air-xr12-tablet-controlled-digital-mixer Basically I'm going to use it to split one XLR mic to two different computers, and also have the audio from each computer feeding into each other. I can feed the AUX outs to the 3.5mm line-in's of my two PC's motherboards and digitally rout the audio to each other on a bus, and I want to have the mic audio routed to those two XLR mains outputs to be sent to both computers. That's all pretty easy to do on these Behringer digital mixers. However, I need to know if those XLR mains outs are at line level and should be adapted to the 3.5mm mic-in on the motherboard, or if they're mic level and should be used with two of my USB audio interfaces. I know the board pre-amplifies the mics, but is there any way to tell what I'm looking for? From those that know more than me, what's my solution? (Also, I know I could just feed the audio from each computer to each other, but I also want to be able to feed all that into my headphones mixed just right and have the flexibility to add other mics and aux inputs in the future)

Hello everyone,My PC Components :Asus P8h61-m lx MotherboardI5-2500ZOTAC 750TI 2GB DDR5The issue is my graphics card is taking power as its fan is running, it is properly fixed and locked in pci-e x16 slot.Onboard graphics is Intel HD2000 i have disabled it from device manager.I have selected iGPU from BIOS. But the device manager doesn't detects a new hardware i.e. My graphics card. Gives proper display from VGA port if I take out graphics card and use only on board graphics, but very blurry and weird display with on board graphics disabled. I am using display port for output from graphics card and it is properly locked in my monitor and 750TI.I have downloaded the latest drivers from Zotac website, but it wont install saying compatible hardware not detected. Please help me!

I can hear voices of actors very quiet only. Did I click something wrong? How can I set this back? I even reinstalled VLC with resetting the setting and nothing changed! Thanks in advance!

I recently purchased a Lumix G7 for use with an Intensity Pro capture card for streaming through OBS. The issue I'm having is my capture card will not recognize the input and even an external monitor says the input is not supported. I've tried both 1080p and 1080i. However, it does work for viewing images that are already taken, and the cable is known to work flawlessly with a different camera. I'm at a loss as to what could be wrong here. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I recently built a new pc and when I plug in my headset (mic attached to it) my friends on Discord and game chats can hear my output sounds like games, music, voice chat, videos, etc. Even when I record my voice I can hear my game sounds in the background, and it's really frustrating. I'm currently using a Hyperx Cloud and the detachable mic it comes with, I'm also using the splitter it comes with since my microphone doesn't work without it. I've tested it with a different mic and the issue is still there. Could be the sound card but I don't know much about that. I've reinstalled realtek drivers but to no avail. Please help, I've tried nearly everything and it's so annoying. EDIT: I forgot to mention that even when the microphone is unplugged, it still plays output audio. Headset: Hyperx Cloud Mobo: Gigabyte ga-ab350-ds3h

For context: I now have an output by chance, just kept on turning it off and on. It now has a green pixels colour. Based on the previous problems would it be the GPU having a tantrum. Thanks for your advice

So my friends computer has been working fine until he got a graphics card, a gt 1030, a few months back, at which point when he turned it on it would be stuck on the motherboard boot screen for about a 5 minutes, with one beep every 20 to 30 seconds, and then it would go onto the windows loading screen which would be positioned awkwardly in the bottom right corner, and then go into a windows login screen what can be assumed to be the cursor is distorted horizontally across the screen, with somewhat inverted colors and flickering stripes. He is running the gt 1030 off of a acer veriton prebuilt with: i3 2130 2 8gb sticks of ddr3 some acer motherboard what's supposed to be a 300w psu could it be a display driver issue? and we cant test it withou a gpu because he doesn't have displayport or dvi

I was casually watching YouTube when I got a blue screen of death. It sat there for a while then it restarted and when it did I got no output. I tried the method of unplugging and then holding the power for 1 minute, and I even unplugged the connections and plugged them back in. Still no output. Anyone have any suggestions?

I have an all-in-one HP desktop. It has VGA and DisplayPort at the back but no HDMI. I want to get a custom built Desktop without having to buy a new monitor due to budget issues. I was wondering if there was a way to find out whether the DisplayPort at the back is an input or output without connecting a separate monitor as i do not own any DisplayPort capable devices or even a DisplayPort cable. My PC is an HP ProOne 400 G1 if that helps.

I can't seem to google the solution to this problem, and thus I come to you all ... I don't know if this applies across the board to all my applications/general usage of the PC, but for whatever reason, in playing games, Fornite specifically, my DS4 USB receiver is essentially hijacking my audio input/output priorities, and I can't hear voice communication; however still able to hear in-game effects. In addition, there doesn't seem to be any issues when using Discord, as far as hearing and communicating with friends goes...So I'm presuming it may be an issue with the audio priorities of Fortnite, in which case I have already toggled my Voice Chat Input Device as being my headset/microphone. With all that being said, I still would ultimately like to somehow disable the DS4 dongle as being recognized as an audio device, which I would think would be the ultimate solution here. Any possible solutions or suggestions? Thanks.

Hey guys, yesterday I went on Discord to play with my friends and they told me they could hear my game audio through discord. Ever since then, I can't get around this problem. I have tried everything, disabling Stereo Mix, disabling every input/output device other than the ones I'm using, Noise suppression and Echo cancellation is on (and always was), but I tried turning those off as well. I tried messing with volume levels, discords Legacy Audio Subsystem, with no luck. This has never happened to me before, and I haven't changed any of my settings before this. It's not a Discord problem, I figured that much out, because if I turn Listening on I can hear everything echoing over and over again, so I'm guessing it's either a Windows, or a Driver bug. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the driver, and nothing. It's driving me mad, I hope you guys can help. Thanks!

Hello to everyone! I was wondering if I can get audio from a HDMI output in my pc, that output is from a Nvidia GTX 1050, so I don’t think that is posible, or is it? If not, how can I get a audio output from a HDMI port? It’s because I have a home theatre system that I’d love to use with my PC. Thanks!

Hello, I am a fifteen year old boy from Malaysia which is neighbouring countries with Singapore. My goal is to build a fully custom PS2 with mod chips, water cooling 3d printed case. My question is there are many way to connect a ps2 to a 4K TV but which way is netter in quality and lower lag. The picture that I included is an example. I will not buy the product from the website or the price stated. BTW, does external upscaler help the quality of the picture and lag or is the built in upscaler in my 4K TV in home better?

I am planning to purchase a video card (yeah right, i am looking for a decently priced one in this mining inflation) but my problem is I am still using a VGA monitor. Is it okay to still use the VGA output in my motherboard? Will my monitor still receive the gpu output? or should i purchase a converter? purchasing a new monitor is out of the question. I don't have the budget yet to purchase a new one nor my parents won't support me getting a new one if the one I am using right now got no problem (lol).

Hello guys, I'm having a bit of trouble with a PC I've built for my brother. I've tried quite a few things to amend the problem but I just can't seem to fix it. It's a bit lengthy, but any advise would be appreciated. Spec i7 7700k ASUS Z270-P BeQuiet SRS Cooler Kingston Hyper X Fury RAM 32GB Samsung 850 EVO 500GB Seagate Firecuda 1TB MSI GTX1080 Factory OC TPLink triple antenna Wireless Card (can't remember the exact model) BeQuiet Pure Power 10 PSU Fractal Define R5 Case ASUS CD/DVD Writer The Problem I'm getting intermittent output, and boot problems. When installing Windows, the machine required a restart, however upon restart I got no output on the screen. The only way to resolve this was to hold down the power to shut the machine down, however by doing this it came up with the 'American Megatrends' screen, outlining a shut down error, and that the machine didn't post correctly. Take note - this started on first boot up when installing windows. I managed to get Windows installed, by plugging in the SSD into my own machine, and installing it from there. Today the machine runs perfectly when in Windows - it passed all the stress tests, and I can Game & make Music on it without any issues, it works just as it should, however, I'm still having this booting problem. 30% of the time, the machine boots up fine, no issues whatsoever, however every other time I instantly get the American Megatrends screen showcasing the shutdown and post error (despite shutting down correctly), or no output, forcing me to hold the power button down, and then we're back to square one. The way I can boot into Windows is by manually selecting the boot drive from within the BIOS. What I've tried so far I've tried everything I can think of to resolve this, but I'm still having this issue. I've outlined what I've done below. Cleared the CMOS - removed the battery etc. Removed all PCI cards and external devices, leaving me with just the keyboard, mouse & monitor, using the on-board graphics (the error occurs with the GPU or on-board). Re-seated the GPU in case this caused the output error The case headers are all on the correct pins. Any advise or preferable a solution would be much appreciated! Thanks

I'm currently in the process of reorganising my studio and at the same time, upgrading my audio. Currently I use the on-board audio output of my Asus ROG Strix B350-F Gaming to output to a Logitech LS21 2.1 Speaker system. Since I plugged it into there, I get a "Your rear line out impedance is equal to or higher than 110ohm". The system currently has itself configured as Stereo audio with the Amplify Level set at Extreme. My first question is, is it safe to run that, as as that message about impedance appears almost like a warning, but doesn't show any distinguishing features like a warning normally would. My second question is, that I plan to upgrade to a 5.1 system in the near future, should I purchase a system that operates via a single line out from the motherboard and then deals with the amplification itself (Such as the Logitech Z506 5.1 system) or should I obtain speakers that I can run directly from the motherboards on-board audio output? Hopefully this makes sense, but if not, feel free to tell me and I will gladly try to help any way that I can.

Does anyone know what could be wrong with it.

Hey guys, I have a problem in the game Squad. Somehow I can't talk via VOIP there anymore since a new installation of the game. There is no problem with hearing the other players but using the mic. It works perfectly in other programs like Discord. So other players sent me this link and told me this works. The program somehow doesn't because the Output is displayed in Input and vice versa. I tried anyway and I didn't have any sound ingame and when I pushed the VOIP button my mates could hear themselves and my audio. Can anyone tell me how to solve this issue? I also got this link, but it didn't work too. Thanks in advance!!

My understanding of amp output impedance is that you should aim to use headphones that have at least 8x the impedance than the output impedance of the amp. I thought amps which had a high output impedance were just an example of cheap equipment but then.. I saw this.. http://www.vickershifi.com/products/paaurium/pathos-aurium-headphone-amplifier A £900 headphone amp with adjustable output impedance of 16-1000 Ohm.. So..Why would you ever want to increase the output impedance and why is the minimum output impedance so high compared to much cheaper headphone amps?
