I was to reset my mac book-2018 (Mac-OS Mojave 16GB + 500GB-SSD. So I exported "on my computer folder as .olm file which is about 100+ GB, so that later on I can access my downloaded emails". Now, its taking about one week to import the .olm file into outlook 2019 for mac. After googling I only found some paid software solutions. is there any effective solution for the said issue?

Hello, I am looking how to disable meter connection warning in Outlook 2016 without changing network settings (I want Windows still meter amount of data for my mobile connection). Every guide I found only show how to switch metering connection to regular one. Do anyone know, is it possible to just change Outlook parameters?

Hello all, I am having a problem with my work computers not recognizing one of my staff's email addresses anymore. Randomly all of a sudden with Outlook 365 on her computer, it changed her email address to be [letters and numbers@domain.com]. I have looked for a resolution on Windows.com threads and have come up with non-answer resolutions that are rather infuriating. I am looking to get it back to working status. We operate of an exchange server through Amazon Workmail. Now what's interesting is that her laptop can still get emails just fine like she was regularly, but then all of a sudden the desktop she has here in the office is coming up with this error. It's leading me to believe that since Outlook appears to have been updated it's causing an issue with working with our exchange server correctly. I have tried to log in to her account on other computers here in the office but it's doing the same thing on those computers. Only thing I have noticed that is consistent is that the email accounts have all been updated recently to the newest versions of outlook. The things I have done are referenced here. https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/msoffice/forum/msoffice_outlook-mso_other-mso_2016/outlook-upgrade-and-outlookletters-and/c6d9437e-f1d1-474f-8c98-7db612cd7154 and although I have created an alias to try this, it is not allowing me to switch at this time as it says I should try again next week. Any assistance would be great in trying to get this to be resolved as she is the only one affected on my corporate email accounts...for now. I fear this may start to happen to my other staff members here in the future and I'd like to get ahead of the problem before it blows up in my face.

Alright so I was trying to login into my email that is outlook because I had just recently reset my pc and the account I had before was the email I am trying to get in right now, and I can't remember the password to it and I've tried at least 30 times through trying to recover it but that recovery email isn't even mine and I've tried contacting outlook themselves and no luck there. I've tried to login so many times to the point where it says I have processed to many requests and I've done it multiple times. I was wondering if any could help me by possibly telling me ways that I could hack back into it or some fixes that might possibly work. I had just bought minecraft on it and I have important things linked to that account and I can't lose those things so if anyone will be willing to help me, it'll be much appreciated. Ask any questions and I'll answer only if they are important and useful.

So I've come across this at work and I just wanted to get some opinions on how to fix the problem. We use a POS program called SellWise for invoicing and whenever trying to send out a mass group of invoices through Outlook from SellWise Outlook gives me this error. I called the company and they told me simply to download a program that automatically clicks yes on all 200x prompts for the invoices. This is not the solution I would like to use. Any Ideas?

Hi, I have created a additional calendar on a mailbox using exchange 2013 and have shared it with another user. It shows up when the user is accessing it using outlook on a PC or OWA but when the user logs in to outlook for android it does not show the shared calendar. Let me know if I have missed out any relevant information. Thanks in Advance.

I am having issues with my outlook 2016 not putting emails where I specify via rules. For example, the emails from Bestbuy are staying in the Inbox and not going to the Bestbuy folder. Can anyone give me an idea as to what I should do?

Say hello to Alto, an email client that hopes you'll be thinking "You've Got Mail" for years to come Orignal Article from CNET: https://www.cnet.com/news/aol-wants-to-save-the-internet-from-the-death-of-email/ Alto treats your inbox like it's data, applying its algorithm to organize your emails, even resurrecting older messages if they become relevant in future dates. "Every action you take online results in an email, but the inbox view of this data is an outdated laundry list and does not serve up what you need when you need it," the Alto team said in a statement. If you book a flight months in advance, Alto will bring the note back up when you're about to travel and pair it with related emails such as hotel reservations or car rentals. It also links to other apps on your phone, like Uber or Google Maps. While the folders have some cool features, like the Photos stack that collects all your emails that have images attached and compiles them into a gallery, Alto's automatic organization still has more to learn. The team studied email users and found most had multiple accounts, whether for work or personal use. And there were deals and discounts, lost within the sea of emails. "What we found, almost anything you do online, or even in brick and mortar stores, results in an email," said Marcel Becker, Alto's director of product. "It's all just sitting in various mailboxes; no one is deleting things anymore." I'm looking for some help here. I recently built a new system and installed Microsoft Office. I use Outlook for my calendars and email, but I've run into an issue where the Windows 10 notifications are coming in delayed by about 5 minutes from the time an event or email is actually received. I've done some google searching but cant seem to find where anyone else is having this issue. Anybody know of a probable solution for this? Thanks, FloridaPilot

I recently got approached with this problem: Working in a corporate environment, employees are to use Outlook for mails. How do you have a threaded view of mails in Outlook? Conversation view doesn't really cut it.

Does anyone know if it's possible to add multiple filter words to an outlook rule all at once? I've a list of several hundred spam domains that I want to check the message headers of every e-mail for. I know how to set the rule up, however outlook seems hell-bent on having me enter every single domain or 'word' into the rule one by one. Which seems astonishingly ridiculous. And if you're certain that outlook cannot do this; feel free to recommend windows-based e-mail programs that aren't terrible. However I'm still going to want to make that rule in those programs. The rule i'm creating, for the curious is; Apply this rule after the message arrives. With "[*list of a few hundred spam domains"*] in the message header. move it to the [junk] folder. Thanks for your time.

Hi all, hope to get some understanding and help with a problem of mine. I am currently migrating users from Kerio mail server to Exchange Server 2013. All of the main mailboxes have gone over without any fuss (other than it taking a ridiculous amount of time) but now I've come to a problem with some "archive" mailboxes. Using Outlook 2011 for mac I have added the old mailbox using imap and the new mailbox using the exchange server credentials. these both work fine as I can access them both through their respective webmail interfaces. The Kerio mailbox "inbox" has 41000 emails in it and I've moved these emails into the Exchange mailbox "inbox" but only 19000 appear, even though the move progress bar showed a total of 41000 emails being moved. The new mailbox has plenty of space on the server and locally there is effectively unlimited storage. I'm under a fair amount of pressure as this is the archive for one of the Directors and he needs to access it asap. Does anyone know why this is happening and how I can get the rest of the emails to appear in the new inbox? Does anyone know of a free .olm to .pst converter? If anyone can help in anyway, please let me know, Thanks in advance, Tom

So this happened today. I was using a vpn but decided to go to my email (outlook.com) which made it lock me out of my account and it asked me security questions. I forgot the security questions and the recovery email that i had on the account i had deleted it. Now im getting really frustrated because i cant get back in. I have tried password reset which still points me to asking for security questions which says fill as much as you can i filled as much as i could but still it kept sending me a email try again. I would really appreciate if you guys can help me.

No matter what I try, I can't seem to get my school email to work with Microsoft Outlook. It always fails to "Log onto incoming mail server (IMAP)" and "Sent test e-mail message" I have tried everything, looked up guides, and nothing seems to work. Any help I would be grateful for. Thanks. Brendan

MS Outlook is really bad if you want to use it to create or read HTML based mail. Previous versions of outlook like outlook 2003 renders HTML using Internet Explorer 5 and mordern versions of outlook use MS Word to render HTML files! Seriously Microsoft? Word for HTML, that's worse than using the engine of Internet Explorer 5 in 2016. t doesn't even implement the most basic styling features like margin or padding. When i created my CSS and HTML based newsletter and imported it into outlook 2016 it looked completely disfigured. Outlook is really useful and has tons of features that open source mail alternatives don't have but I am switching over to Thunderbird now just because it uses the Gecko Engine. Anyway can anybody suggest some good bulk-mail clients? I would rather be helpful.

Should I switch from Outlook to Gmail? I'm holding back, since I have all of my contacts on Outlook, and I got Microsoft Office Online (a cut down version of Office with better compatibility) and you know, it's not Gmail, so less spam and it's being overlooked by Microsoft ,good for Windows 10. On the other hand, Gmail is a better email service in my opinion, and is integrated with Google Docs, which are pretty damn good, for my usage. What do you think? What do you use personally?

Someone I know is having a problem using the mail app in Windows 8.1 and I was wondering if anyone else has come across this and found a solution. Originally it was fine when I set it up but after a while it just stopped syncing. It stays like that for a while (usually a week or so) then just goes back to working normally. When I go into the settings it says there's a problem with a server's security certificate but if I tick the box that says "Ignore certificate errors" it doesn't do anything. Here is a screenshot of the error message: Any ideas or things to try would be appreciated.

So I received a call from a family member telling me that they couldn't sign into their PC after they upgraded to windows 10. They said that they had to change their outlook password and in the process they must have changed it to something else and not realized what they changed it to. Recovering the password didn't work and we're running out of options. If all else fails I'm thinking of trying to brute force my way in, but I really know nothing about the process. If anyone could recommend some software and explain how to use it that would help a ton.
