Ok all, I have been waiting a while: doing my research, planning, waiting for prices to come down (they haven't really), and waiting until i had the money and wife's permission. I am building my dream PC. I have built many PCs in the past but this will be my first time watercooling and heavily overclocking (I've OC'd a tiny bit). Anyway, Here is the pcpartpicker link to my build with all of my intended parts: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/iRon_Man22/saved/#view=JDxJ7P Basically, I am looking for all of the opinions, critiques, suggestions on my build. I am including a picture (hand drawn so be kind) of my tube routing design. Ignore the colors, I did those just to help distinguish parts from one another. My questions that I am looking for answers: 1) Do you see any problems with my design? 2) Do you think I will have room to add another 240 rad in push/pull config. behind the dual tube reservoirs? I calculated the with of the reservoirs, rad, and fans compared to the width of the case and I should have enough room. Tell me if I'm wrong. 3) Do you see any improvements that I should make? 4) I want to plan for easy filling and draining of my system, that is why I am including a bay res. Is this the best way to plan for a draining/filling system? How can I plan this better? Please also keep in mind a few notes about my drawing/design: 1) I am planing to mod my Primo case by cutting out the rectangular section where my two tube reservoirs are going so they show. Here is an example of what I mean: 2) I plan on having two D5 pumps on this system, one in the bay res and one on the pump mount the case provides in the back. 3) My flow pattern: Bay Res -> CPU -> 480 Rad -> GPU1 -> GPU2 -> 240 Rad -> Tube Res 1 -> D5 Pump -> 240 Rad 2 -> Tube Res 2 -> Bay Res ---Is this well planned? Any changes? 4) My color theme is going to be Black and Blue. Let me know if you have any questions, thank you for taking the time to read this through!

I have decided to put together some parts for a new PC build I'm wanting to make, and would like your guys' opinion's (all negative opinions are welcome, unsure if this build will succeed my needs/wants). Mobo: Asus Z170 Pro Gaming http://pricespy.co.nz/product.php?p=3266699 CPU: Intel Core i7 6700K (was thinking of just going with the 6600K, anyone know any major differences aside from price?) http://pricespy.co.nz/product.php?p=3226016 CPU Cooler: Deepcool Captain 240 http://pricespy.co.nz/product.php?p=3088369 PSU: EVGA SuperNOVA G2 750W http://pricespy.co.nz/product.php?p=2551603 RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws V http://pricespy.co.nz/product.php?p=3276702 Storage: Samsung 850 EVO 500GB SSD http://pricespy.co.nz/product.php?p=2880210 Case: Corsair Carbide Air 540 (White) http://pricespy.co.nz/product.php?p=2405787 GPU: Nvidia GTX 960 4GB I have found reviews of the products listed above, but would also love to hear if anyone has had any problems with a mix of these components.

Hey everyone. I'm looking into getting a new laptop because after hooking up my external blu-ray reader to my current one, I have discovered that the screen is terrible. (I only now really notice since I do everything on my desktop, such as Photoshop, Vegas ect.) Seriously, it distorts the colour really bad, it has terrible viewing angles (although it is a laptop, so it should be in front of the user), and it has the worst sin of all, a 1366x768 screen resolution. The rest of the laptop is fine. That's where the LTT community comes in, I want your opinions/help on buying a new laptop. Requisites: Must have a 1080p Screen (preferably IPS or a really good TN) Preferably matte, (hate gloss with a passion) 15 inch screen (I could do smaller, but usually a number pad is not available on smaller than 15") at least an i3 processor (although a bump from the i3 would be nice) 8GB RAM minimum (or less, but must be able to easily upgrade) SSD would be nice, but not really needed Must have a numerical pad since I use that all the time for excel work Price range is ~£500-£600. (Although Black Friday and Cyber Monday are coming up soon, so I can wait till then to get a good deal) My current laptop is working 100%, so I might sell it to get some funds back to put towards the new one. But the lid is badly scratched, so I wrapped it in Carbon Wrap (look in spoiler) Will it affect sale price? What do you think I can get for it? Specs Intel i3 4005U (2 core, 4 threads, turbos to 1.7GHz) 8GB 1600MHz RAM 1TB HDD 15" 1366x768 screen Optical drive Windows 8.1 (have been prompted to go to 10, but this is staying on 8.1) WiFi & Gigabit connection Just over 1 Year old Thanks for the help.

Hey guys, I'm building my first PC (YEAH BABY!!!), but I need some help with mobos... I want to know what you guys (and gals) think about the Asus H81-Plus. I'm not planning on overclocking my i5 4460 (don't know how to either). I'm trying to save money, so if you guys can recomend a different ATX mobo, I'm glad to hear your opinions.

Hello all, I would just like peoples brief opinions on my build. I already posted a topic on my PSU and updated it to the new one on this list. I would greatly appreciate feedback/reassurance as I have already ordered all of my parts except the PSU. I'm hoping(praying) that the build is decent and will be able to run Witcher 3 and Darksouls 2 on high/ultra. Thank you for your time. Part Picker link: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/wjdsD3 p.s: the build was slightly rushed because I was in a hurry to cash in on those sweet, sweet cyber Monday deals Edit:should have posted this in a different topic section, I cant delete it now

so I'm getting the seinheisers PX-100ii headphones, and a little mic along with it, that clips on my glasses, I mean not the best, but good for me at the moment. Tried and heard them both since my brother has them, but I was wondering your guy's opinion on it.

So some news has come out recently that in about 18 months the new skylake CPU's will no longer be fully supported unless you are running windows 10. so i want all of your opinions and information on this. to simplify the discussion i would like to pose a few questions that you should answer to state where you are in the matter. 1) do you think this is a smart move by microsoft? why? 2) will you comply with the mighty overlords decision? 3) do you think this will change the face of building your own system? 4) are you concerned with the direction that this decision pushes us in?

So as many of you heard Tom Clancy's: The Division is coming out March. 5th, and with all of the controversy surrounding Ubisoft and their games I was wondering what some of your guy's thoughts on the game. Do you think it will be a good game, and worth the money, or do you think it will be another let down by Ubisoft?

Hey guys, I'm getting some money in the near future and would like to build my own pc: I'm living in Italy (so currency is €) and I'm planning to buy everything from Amazon Italy. I'll be using this pc to (hopefully) develop software, some gaming and simple video editing (basic stuff) and I've thought of these components: - CPU: Intel Core i7-6700 - Motherboard: Gigabyte Z170-HDP3 - Graphics Card: XFX R9 380 4GB Double Dissipation - RAM: Kingston HyperX DDR4 2133MHz 2x8GB - SSD: Samsung 850 EVO 250GB - HDD: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB - PSU: Antec VP600P - Case: Aerocool Aero-500 Gaming with window & card reader - Monitor: AOC e2460Sh 24'' Total price is around €1200 (usually lower, due to Amazon deals). I've got some doubts which I hope you might help figure out: - I've recently seen that it's possible to overclock non-K CPUs, like the i7-6700 simply upgrading the MB to a custom BIOS: has anyone here done that? - Would you change any of my choices? If so, why? Thanks to anyone who will reply here!

Hey everyone, so im looking to add a bit of character to my S6, and i have up to 80-90€ to waste in a leather case , since most others (Vaja, Montblanc) are just ridiculously priced and dont offer different features, if any at all. So after some search i came up with Dodocase, Otterbox and Sena leather. So far, the otterbox strada is the cheapest one slightly near the 50€ mark, and providing a punch in defense and style. Dodocase is quite lacking in options, and the only one is temporarily unavailable. Sena leather i came up while searching for the top leather brands, and it actually seems pretty nice and maybe i would give it a try. What you think, have you ever used one of these before and which one should i get?

Hey y'all. I've been using a Corsair Raptor M45 since it came out on April 2014 and because I play alot of League of Legends, my right click has started to feel "weaker?" compared to my left click. So I've decided on buying a new mouse and I can't really decide on what to get next. History of the mice I have used. (Order: Past-to-Present) Razer DeathAdder 3500 Black Edition - Microsoft IntelliMouse Explorer 3.0 - SteelSeries Sensei - SteelSeries Rival - Corsair Raptor M45 I've probably used the Sensei, the Rival and the M45 the most in means of length. Here are some of the things I do care about when choosing my mouse. 1. I don't need high DPI. (Right now I use the M45 at around 1000 DPI.) 2. I don't use wireless mice. 3. I don't like those unknown acceleration things that make your mouse move more that it should. 4. Grip (Ergonomics) are highly appreciated. I do have interest in the Logicool G402 so comments about it are welcome. Everything else that's worth noticing is welcome too of course!

Hello Tech World, Thanks for taking some of your time to see my post, let's take a quick walk here on why and what am I asking here. I've been thinking, since I was going to build myself a new computer (More info on my Sig.) I went to check and see on how W10 has been doing so far, and from what I've seen I'm not convince. So I'll probably stay with W7 since I'm already used to it, and on the other hand I've had bad experiences with Windows Restore and Backup System, from then on I backup everything by manually organizing my folders and then passing them into my Ext-HDD. So the questions are: Q: Which OS do you recommend, what are the Pros/Cons when using such OS? Q: Is there any other way to backup files more faster, easier and safer? Q: Do you use any other tools for organizing and backing up files? Guess this is clean and simple enough, hope to hear your answers soon.

Looking to upgrade from my current PC and this is what I've come up with. Looking at this in USD, for a max budget of about 850, storage and OS already taken care of (coming from my current PC) and this build will be for games, VMs, and Blender (3D modeling/animating). I put this together with room for another R9 390 eventually when I feel that it starts to slow down, so if you want to change something make sure I can add another card later. Also, 8 gigs, due to the VMs I may add another set of what I have there below when I can, but it should be enough to start. Hi there! I really need lots of opinions on my first ever PC build. (CAD by the way) What I want to do with this PC: Gaming: From Minecraft to GTA-V to Batman Arkham City Video Editing: Decent to Good Render Times and Software That Will Not Usually Lag While Editing. Recording Gameplay Day to Day Tasks I am not sure if my build is too overkill for what I would like to do. I am not much of a gamer but I would like to get in to medium to heavy PC gaming. My budget was actually lower than what my parts list is but thats okay. Please leave your suggestions about better bank for your buck and any parts that you reccomend over the ones I chose! http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/q2yPBm Thank you so much!
