I have a gif with transparent background, I simply tried to put the transparent gif on top of the jpg but even if I export or save it as a gif, it only saves one frame, resulting in motionless .gif - how can I create a gif using my jpg as the background and the gif as the foreground? please use noob terms new to Photoshop

Recently I've been looking into building a pfSense router and I am always recommended to by a Ubiquiti Edgerouter X instead, due to power consumption, form factor and cost. My internet speed is 40mbit down and 15mbit up. There are 3 heavy users in my house. I won't be running anything other than DHCP as far as I know and I won't be running a VPN server. I don't need an access point or a switch because I already have bought a UAP and a large netgear switch. So my question is will this be powerful enough as I want a completely solid router solution? Help appreciated.

This is my first time thinking about changing the case and I'm not really sure what that entails. I currently have a dell optiplex 790 whose mobo I think is mirco atx but I cant find, This one. The case I have is servicable but offers very little in the way of expansion with only one fan mount and one harddrive tray and the cable management is a nightmare with top mounted psu. I was looking at replacing it with this Thermal Take Case, my reasoning being its the Amazon choice, its in budget with multi fan support, sleek design that doesn't look cheap or tacky like other "pro gaming" cases with a color scheme that is changable (I'd like blue to match my Windforce) and I have a Thermal Take PSU and they seem to be a good brand. Is there anything else in a case I should be looking for?

Hello all. I'm considering PC options in the future. I generally play my games on playstation console as it serves my purpose (and acts as my media center for netflix, blue ray and such). However I've been devouring "mod" options for skyrim on youtube for six months and would love to be able to take advantage of some of those. I realize it's likely setting myself up for trouble since I have no idea what i'm doing ( but surely youtube makes me an expert right?). So my question is would my current rig work with an upgraded video card? Thanks for any and all input. Mikaela ps I've zero income currently so this is simply for setting my expectations for when my financial situation improves oh and i'm very sorry if I've put this in the correct spot. I just assumed the motherboard is going to be the deciding factor. So. yeah. Have a great day! My computer stats.pdf

Hello, I need some help with some of the parts for a Gaming PC build I am working on. I never really understood processors and motherboards well so I'm hoping I can get some advice to steer me in the right direction. Budget : $1200 CAD What is it for : Primarily gaming with some game engine work as I am a programming student. Looking to play games such as Battlefield 1, Overwatch, Witcher 3 etc. Monitors: I have one monitor currently and I am looking to pick up a second monitor in the future Peripherals: I currently have a Logitech G710+ keyboard as well as a Logitech G502 Proteus Core mouse, as well as some speakers for the system already Why the upgrade : My current pc is just barely scraping by for minimum requirements for my program and in order to get it up to speed I would have to replace the entire system as most of the parts are heavily outdated. This is my current parts list as I already have two 1TB HDDs in my current system that I will re-purpose for the new one. Any advice on parts is appreciated! http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/K3TWbj

I have a question that nobody has answered. How do I find out about new tech releasing? I'm new and every time I say I want to build, there's someone that says "Wait until the ___ comes out!" But like.... how am I supposed to find that out? Is there some type of app? Some website? Honestly, how do you guys know all this stuff? Is it just like a Spidey- sense? You can smell when the new tch comes out? lol come on guys.

I'll be upgrading from a GT 720 to a GT 740 (not the best card, but I managed to get a still-sealed one for just $30 from a friend, so why not). A lot of instructional videos conduct themselves under the assumption that you are installing a card in to a system that did not have one previously, but my situation is different. I have just a couple of questions. 1. Both the 720 and 740 are Kepler cards. With that in mind, do I really need to change/update much in the way of drivers before taking out the 720 and putting in the 740 (aka, are drivers really that different per-card)? If so, in what order should I do things? If not, then can I simply plug the new card in and be good-to-go?

I was sent this rig and I'm not sure how well it'll run with the things I want to do? Keep in mind I started learning this PC stuff like less than a month ago. So what I want to do is a lot of video editing. I also have multiple tabs open of a regular basis. I will do some gaming on stuff like Goat Simulator (don't judge me) CS: GO, Far Cry, and possibly Minecraft if I'm really bored. So how well will it run? (I forgot to add, i watch a TON of YouTube and Netflix. Not sure if that changes anything.)(I also forgot to say I do a lot of video editing. like almost every day.) And if the linked word doesn't work, here it is again: http://pcpartpicker.com/list/F39W4C

Hello, I am trying to build a new gaming PC, but I am on a budget. Here is the requested information. 1. Budget & Location I am wanting to stay around $750 USD 2. Aim I plan on using this PC primarily for gaming. My current games are Minecraft, Factorio, Shadows of Mordor, and Orcs must Die unleashed. 3. Monitors I am running one monitor currently, but I would like to upgrade to two or even three in the next few years. 4. Peripherals I do not need any peripherals, tower only. 5. Why are you upgrading? My current computer is going on a decade old, so it barely runs most games these days. I will be reusing my optic drive and hard drives, though an SSD for my boot disk (optional) would be fantastic. My current case needs replaced, so that is a must; I prefer Mid Towers, but any size is fine as I have plenty of space. I prefer Cooler Master, but the DeepCool Tesseract SW caught my eye. A case I can light is ideal, but not required. Thank you ahead of the time for your help!

So I am planning on upgrading my PC's motherboard and RAM, but thing is I don't know anything. I found this motherboard https://www.amazon.com/Gigabyte-LGA1151-Intel-Motherboard-GA-H110M-/dp/B0165YUDTM/ref=sr_1_1?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1472179982&sr=1-1&keywords=lga+1151+matx&tag=linus21-20 and this RAM https://www.amazon.com/Kingston-2133MHz-Non-ECC-Desktop-HX421C14FBK2/dp/B00TY6A1P0/ref=sr_1_1?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1472180202&sr=1-1&keywords=8gb+ddr4&tag=linus21-20 which fit in my budget, but I don't know if there are better alternatives for my current system. Specs: GTX 650 Ti Boost i3 3220 @3.30GHz (base) (also plan on changing, but later on) (maybe i3 6100?) Current RAM: 2x4GB DDR3 Current mobo: Intel IPMH61P1, DDR3 only, Intel H61 express chipset

Hi guys I live in Canada and I wanted some help with building my first pc. I am looking to build something between 1500-2000 CAD. I mostly want to play games on it and some video editing, I want to play games like Civilization, Counter Strike, Elder Scrolls Dark Souls and other AAA titles. I was looking for only 1 monitor like the Asus VX228H 21.5" 60Hz Monitor but nothing has come up that is really good in the price range of around 100-200 dollars, I would like to play on at least 1080p 60hz but more preferably 1440p 60hz. I don't need a mouse or keyboard, but I have an old hard drive from my old PC that has Windows 7 is it possible for my to transfer it over to my new PC so I can run Windows 7. I am upgrading because my old PC was a pre-built, it runs super slow and it's from like 2005. I have thought of the parts but wanted to know your input. Thanks for the help and what do you think? Hi LTT, (second time writing this as first time, forum signed me out and post didn't send/post -___-... Had it all neatly formatted etc, i'll try my best to do that same this time round) copy text before posting , i know i know... So i need to build a machine, but also need money for a laptop refresh in the future (1-2 years time). I currently use a 17" MBP spec'd out which does everything for me. I have always used laptops (expect when dialup days using parents windows 95 machine ^_^). I game when i can but due to using low powered devices i have always been the 'oh my game just crashed, relogging in a min' guy. CPU maxing usually... I am an industrial designer and do heavy 3D work: Modelling, rendering etc.. I am use to waiting 5mins for files to open or 10 mins for a object to rotate due to the calculations my machines struggled to do. I don't really have the money but i figure saving time buy spending a little more would increase efficiency and possible help make more cash? I'm sure thats how it works.... With my ultra noobs skills i have come up with the following: thank fudge for PPP.com! http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/kKLrD8 Budget: £700-900 (again i don't really have the money but i will invest in myself God dammit!... I know the build i linked is way over this, but thats why i need help) I will justify prices if it helps with longevity. Planned usage: Industrial design: Heavy 3D modelling, 3D rendering. Graphic design work: Moderate photoshop, illustrator and sketching with 3D tablet. Gaming: MMOs mainly, Some MOBAs. Would like to try 1 or 2 AA or AAA titles... have never been able to. 1080p is more than enough, any more and i would be a happy man/ boy/child (depends what i am playing) Key points: Longevity!: i don't usually buy stuff/ upgrade until my current is dying or dead. Simplicity: I would be willing to overclock but only after i feel it needs it - remember i am coming from a laptop background. Needs to be 'mum level' Price/usage ratio: If more money is needed due to scientific reasons (it has to make sense for the extra cost) i will conside r the increase in budget. Fancy level: nothing crazy fancy! no SLi or AMDs equal, 1070 was chosen for longevity (well thats what my brain tells me) Your help is always welcome! I would prefer honest brutal questions and opinions, beating around the bush cost time and money! Thank you for reading, iWd ------- TLDR: I am a noob who has only every used laptops (17" MMP atm) to do everything. I need a machine to game (mmos mainly) and for heavy 3D work. Budget £700+ ---------

Budget: I'm aiming at about $2,000 USD budget although I am willing to go higher if needed. Budget includes everything in the tower Location: Atlanta, GA area. Aim: My main uses will be gaming and video streaming at max graphics. I currently mostly play MMORPGS, League of Legends, World of Tanks, and Skyrim. I also spend a lot of time watching Anime, YouTube, and Twitch. Monitors: The ability to run two 24" monitors (not owned) and my tv. Peripherals: I currently use a Steelseries Siberia 800 headset and Razer Naga 2012. I intend to upgrade the mouse when I buy a keyboard but these are NOT included in the budget. Why am I upgrading?: So basically I've been using a stock Toshiba laptop for the last 9 years and am over gaming at 8-23 fps at minimum graphics. Case and Aesthetics: Case size doesn't really matter as I intend to hand buid a desk around it once it's built. As far as aesthetics, a Black/Red color scheme/lighting is preferred. I'd like to have a lot of ports mainly located on the rear of the tower. DVD/Blue-ray player for movies and installing games from disk needed. Additional Information: As I admittedly have no life, this computer will be under heavy use (8-12 hrs daily) and needs to be build to handle it. I don't need E-Sports level quality and performance but playing MMORPGS and League of Legends in Max graphics smoothly would be nice. I usually leave the computer in hibernation instead of complete shutdown (I think this affects ssd or something like that). I'll be buying components for the rig over a the next few months and will find someone local who can help me put it all together once I have them all. If you have any advice or questions please let me know. This is my first time doing anything of the sort and I'm both excited and terrified of the build ahead.

Hopefully this is the right sub. RT-N66U router, latest firmware from what I can tell (3.0.0.380_3831) Devices connected: several iphones, computers, a printer, a WD NAS, a 'Firestick', and a PS4. All of which are accounted for and work fine. Typical usage is basic web browsing, streaming (YT, Amazon, etc.) usually not HD, occasional gaming. Usually 3 people doing these during the day. I live in a well populated region of the NE U.S.. Time Warner. Pay for ~24 down ~2 up. All using 2.4 ghz wifi with the WD NAS connected via Ethernet. This is the only device connected via ethernet. Using WPA2-Personal. Router reboots every 24 hours. Here's where the issues begin. (most of these have been going on for several months now) -First, internet will randomly drop out for a few seconds. Completely disconnected from the internet (not from the router). Speeds fluctuate regardless of usage/time of day. Nothing in the router's logs that correlate to the times this happens. I do not think this is an issue with wifi in terms of signal strength. None of this was not happening a year ago (i.e. good reliable internet). edit- I would like to add this happens seemingly randomly several times throughout the day. Sometimes back-to-back, sometimes a few hours in between. -If I go to check connected devices, a couple pf devices like "Texas Instruments" (with android figure) will be there, but quickly disappear after 3 seconds. They never reappear until I close and check the router a while later. No clue what these devices could be or why they 'disappear'. These change name every few months. These devices do not correspond to anything I am aware of. Often times these devices will show up as connected via ethernet (again, only the NAS is). -The WD NAS was connecting to the internet for no known reason I know of. I used IP lookups to find out where it was connecting. WD, some amazon related IPs, and one time an IP related to a multi-national company that deals with aviation logistics located in central EU. I don't even have the slightest clue about this one. After this, I prevented the 'WD Cloud' from connecting to the internet using parental controls. Couldn't figure out how to do it any other way. From what I can tell it's behaving normally now. -ISP has sent emails a week or so ago saying there is possible botnet activity. Internet usage has not changed nor has anyone made any suspicious downloads. All computers have had scans with the latest version of malware bytes. I've changed both the router's pass and the wifi pass. Both are solid passwords. Had no effect on any of these issues. I can't be sure, but I swear speedtest isn't accurate. When no-one is using the internet here and during non-peak times, my speeds are very inconsistent, sometimes crawl (ex. having trouble streaming at 460p, very annoying to play twitch shooters with latency that fluctuates heavily from 35-60ms even in servers hosted in my own city), but speed test will always show a consistent <20ms ~22down ~1.7up. Ping tests to any website like google will be an easy 40ms+ on a good day. Based off of download speeds and things like net_graph, I'd say I'm actually getting 9Mbps down and 1 Mbps up, not the speeds speedtest claims. Ping tests to google I just ran with router: 145ms 39ms 42ms 91ms 42ms Speed with speedtest? 16ms with 22 down 1.8 up Ping tests to facebook: 331ms 361ms 320ms 329ms 310ms Ping tests to Youtube: 54ms 212ms 52ms 48ms 271ms Speed test says 11ms. This sh*t happens on all computers I tested with. It's a conspiracy man... I don't really know what's going on and would like some ideas about what to do with any of this. Maybe it's all normal stuff and I'm going crazy... As is probably painfully clear, I don't know much about networking. If I'm missing relevant info I'll correct that asap.

Hello there awesome LTT people. So, I'm new to CS:GO (so noob :P) . Currently CR8 Rank. Today, while I was playing I was kicked out of the session because I was using SCAR-20 by my own CT team. Most of the time, I got MVP and got most kills. The CT players tried to kick me for 3-4 times but not enough players voted. I asked for reason. They said I was noob and I use automatic sniper rifle. I got so much hate for that. I'm not firing some shitty words out of my mouth here. It's just my opinion. Well, if you're an expert or trying to be expert why do people use AWP it usually kills with in one shot? Take a pistol, go near enemy and shoot like a man infront of the enemy while he shoots you with SG 553. If I'm a noob, why people use an AUG or a SG 553 or any scoped automatic rifle? It has a scope and it's automatic. It usually kills within 3 or 4 shots if aimed correctly, if pointed at head, it'll kill within 2 shots. Same way I used SCAR-20. What's wrong? Why I was called being noob here. If I'm noob, you people shouldn't use AUG, SG 553, AWP. Use pistols like P250, P2000, USP, Glock and rifles like FAMAS and SSG 08. I think people who use AWP and calls me noob, should use SSG 08. It's a perfect weapon for them. It doesn't kill people usually within one shot. This is just ridiculous. I don't agree with them. Ofcourse, I used AWP before I was continuously using SCAR-20. But SCAR-20 is much better, but lack any ability to stay on target half the time. But, imo it's better than AWP. This is just my opinion guys. Also, I was on Casual. They kicked me for this reason. This is just... I don't agree. Don't kill me CS:GO EXPERTS.

Hi, So I am entering the PC-MasterRace and I have some knowledge of computers 'n stuff. I want to build a pc with upgradeability in mind. Will this work: Case: NZXT Noctis PSU: Corsair CS550M CPU: Intel Core i5 6500 with stock cooler (planning on other cooler ofc but I'm not overclocking the cpu) MOB: MSI H170 Gaming M3 RAM: HyperX Fury 2133MHZ 8GB (planning to add a second stick in the future for 16GB total) SSD: Some old OZC 60GB that I have, also needs an upgrade. HDD: Same story as the SSD GPU: TBD (probably RX480 or 1060) I'm happy with any response, criticism or ideas. Regards, Snieky

Hey. I just started this account so forgive me if I'm not using this correctly, but I'm a complete noob. I know almost nothing about building computers, and I can list the things I do know on my hands. I know where to buy parts, but I don't know exactly where to find specs, or the names of the parts I need. I don't know where to check compatibility between parts. I know not to build on carpet. That all I know. It's pretty sad, but I know more about how to work a computer than to do it myself. If anybody can tell me the parts I need and then ad short descriptions so I know what everything is for and where I can find them and can recommend some good cheap parts. To give you an example of what I'm trying to build, I need a computer that can animate in Blender fairly quickly. Lets say a short animation should be rendered in 5 hours or less, my current one takes over 24 hours. And it should run a game like Over Watch or Bloodbourne smoothly. My budget is $700, but I can go a little higher. Keep in mind that 700 is for a pc and a monitor, but nothing else. Any tips, tutorial videos with slow talking, or anything that can make me less of a complete noob? Edit: I'm buying 3 monitors, but the $700, will only buy them later. I'm just buying parts and one monitor with $700.

So I just learned I'm supposed to runot my hdmi cable off my graphics card instead of my motherboard. Or else I won't get signal from my motherboard. What if I wanna do sli? Do I run two hdmi cables from them or I just have one cable on a single card while the other are just connected?
