I'm posting this here in hopes that they talk about this in the next WAN show (BTW great show). A channel I watch a bit on advance technology how-to is Eli The Computer Guy. He posted a video 3 or so years ago on how to "hack" a html box to tell you the passwords. It's basically you do a inspect, and change the HTML to not hide the password. Below is a video that someone copy and put on their channel. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uo6ws-h9pvA Anyways, on the 22 YouTube took down that video and gave him a strike. He has a screenshot of what they sent, and it's stupid. It basically says they are taking down the video and giving him a strike because it "encourages or provides instruction for technologically malicious activity." The problem with this is it was an educational videos. This means stuff on my channel, nearly all channels that Linus is apart of, and most others are apart of can be hit for having a 100% educational video. This also forces people who actually know how to prevent others from hacking or modding from actually telling others how to protect their systems. UPDATE: He just put out a new video. This is why I wanted to have the big tech channels actually talk about it. Again, this abusive relationship with YouTube is going to keep happening if this isn't talked about. -

Go is played by 40 million people worldwide (mostly in East Asia, but is played by a few like myself elsewhere), and is considered to pose a vastly more daunting challenge for AI than Chess. Go has been a goal of AI for decades, but the search for a computer capable of defeating professional Go players in un-handicapped games has remained out of reach until now. For Context, The defeated professional (5 losses in 5 games) is Fan Hui 2D, http://www.europeangodatabase.eu/EGD/Player_Card.php?key=12633346 Fan Hui is the No. 1 ranked player in Europe, and a genuine professional standard player. However, he is still a fair way off the standard of the world's top players. Deep Mind now intends for its program, AlphaGo, to face Lee Sedol https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lee_Se-dol in March, though at the time of posting this is unconfirmed. Lee Sedol is probably the biggest name in Go right now, and has recently been the World No. 1. These are exciting times both for AI and Go players. Almost since Deep Blue, Go has represented something of an Everest for AI, and the 'Kasparov match', previously thought decades away, could now be within sight (Though in my opinion this game should be against current world No. 1 Ke Jie, not Lee Sedol).

(Click for source) Google/Alphabet is about to become the most valuable company in the world, passing Apple, who has held the most valuable company for some time now. Just to clarify, they have not YET, but they are very close too, about $200 billion, which shouldn't take to long to get too. This is probably due to how poorly Apple has been selling with the 6S/6S+, as some of you know it isn't selling as good as Apple expected. This probably might bring some tighter competition between Apple and Google/Alphabet, which is a good thing mostly. The quotes below pretty much sums it all up. Google's Letter Honestly I think that Google may be correct but there something not being said here but I am no expert on this so I cant say. Thoughts?

Hope you know your ABC's, cause Alphabet has surpassed Apple as the world's most valuable public company. The sources speculate that it may be due to Apple's iPhone sales posting its slowest growth while Alphabet: Here's a neat visual of the progression: As you can see, the tides previously turned in favour of Apple around 2010, before the first iPad was soon released. This all happened during after-hours trading so it will be interesting to see how long G for Alphabet comes before A for Apple. I just got Google Play Music, and I'm already experiencing a plethora of issues. One of which is that random MP3, M4A, AAC, and every other audio files are showing up in my library. I wouldn't mind very much if I didn't have audiobooks on my phone. Is there an option other than just deleting these files that will make them no longer appear in Play Music? -

Certain programs take longer than others to load. And it's not just that it takes longer, it takes a REALLY long time, like, 20 minutes later. Chrome, my Runescape Client, and not much else. But I also have this other issue where File Explorer crashes on right click, whether it be on an empty space or a file. Even when I try to bypass right click by left clicking the file to select it and then going to the file top on the top of the explorer, this too causes file explorer to crash. Is there any test that I can run to determine the source of the problem, or has anyone also experienced this before. Either Google can't help me or my Google-fu is weak. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hey, So i'm remoting to a PC via my laptop, and it's not passing through any audio, both computers have windows 10 installed on them, i've done some research but i did not find any documentation/solutions for this on windows 10. Thanks for your help, Blauweke -

Hi everyone, I have been having some really random crashes recently, and I just now have gotten a google chrome crash in addition to skype crashing every time I plug my headsets in or switch playback devices in windows. I am trying to root my HTC One M8, but everytime I try the command: fastboot oem get_identifier_token, It stalls at <waiting for device> I am only at the unlock bootloader stage, I have not installed any custom recovery yet. If you could please help me with this, that would be so kind of you. (P.S: I have just installed all the new drivers and things required today, all drivers are up-to-date)

A man named Sanmay Ved bought the domain google.com for $12, when fooling around on Google's domain service, Google Domains (nice name), he posted this, along with evidence of his ownership of the domian on his Linkedin (linked below). So there as been this Google Custom Search thing and it is really starting to annoy me. The account tools on the top right is gone. Maps, News, Video is gone. In images it only shows two rows. When I click on the little 'powered by Custom Search' it takes me to Google's CSE but at tells me it is a tool that website owners use for people search on their site. Look at the top right this site uses it. For images there is a work around with going to 'google.com' hit images on the top right since it is still there before I search for something. I've tried erasing data/cookies, resetting settings, and un-then-reinstalling chrome but nothing has changes. If someone can help then you are a god to me.

Hi there! I am a student and have a school project with programming, and there is a little thing that is really bothering me, and have no idea how to solve. I have made a forum (using google) which collects reusults and based on said results sends a special email. To do this I used the script editor of excel, which seems to be a rip off of html and java. My problem is rather simple, the opening '{' does want to close with the ending '}'. I have checked, and have no open '{}'. It is willing to close till this paragrpah: message = message + "<br/><br/> Regards <br/><br/> Automessagemaker" var subject = "Survey results "; var advancedArgs = {htmlBody:message}; MailApp.sendEmail(emailAddress, subject, message, advancedArgs); After which I am unable to close the bracket. Any help? Thanks in advance
