Hey guys, recently I've been looking into getting a new CPU cooler for my Ryzen 5 3600x.I currently have the Be Quiet pure rock slim, but I've upgraded and dripped out the rest of my system and I want a new cooler that isn't well...as ugly as this one I currently have plus it doesn't really cool Ryzen down well so I needa new one.I've been looking at the LC-CC-120-ARGB from LC-Power, it looks great to me and is ARGB so that's a plus, the thing is it has a handfull of reviews on YouTube and stuff and all of them that I've found are on a intel platform not Ryzen, so I'm wondering does anyone have expereince with that CPU cooler? or do you have a alternative around the same price range? Thanks!

I am planning on building a new system for VR. I know you can't get GPUs at the moment so for now I'm buying all the parts except the GPU and hopefully some time next year the prices will be sane again. My question is what is a decent CPU cooler for the 11600K? I'd prefer to stay at around or under $50 but the cpu cooler that seems the most recommended is the Noctua NH-U12S chroma.black for $79.95-. Is it worth all the extra money? It seems kind of expensive. Thanks for anyones input

Hey guys, First, here is my setup: CPU: Ryzen 7 2700x GPU: MSI RX 5700 XT Gaming X Case: Corsair Carbide R275: with the included corsair fans as front intakes and two beQuite! purewings 2 pwm in the back as ex (back and top). Motherboard : ASUS PRIME X570-P PSU: Seasonic Focus GX-850 (planning to do some big upgrades in the future) RAM: 2x 16GB G.Skill Trident Z F4-3200C16D-32GTZKW Recently I have noticed that the temperatures of my GPU (especially junction) are higher than normally (recently because I had to upgrade to the mentioned motherboard and psu because of some system failures). With the case closed the junction temp reaches 110c almost instantly when starting a game and fan speeds keep being around 2200 rpm. When I remove the side panel, temperatures are way better and junction temps are around 80-90 (100 on really heavy load) and fan speeds keep around 1500 rpm. I assumed that maybe the airflow in my case is sub optimal, but a friend of mine told me that the issue might be with my cpu cooler. I am running an Noctua NH-U14S and the distance between the block and my GPU is really small (picture included) and according to my friend the heat from the cooler is affecting the gpu temps. That sounds logical, but is it? Should I change my CPU cooler, preferably to a AIO cooler or lies the problem with my pc case/airflow? Thanks in advance and if I need to provide more information or pictures, let me know!

Budget (including currency): $500 USD Country: United States Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Gaming, VR, 3D modeling Other details: parts List: Intel i9-9700k GTX 2070 Super 2X 16gb Hyperx Fury DDR4 Ram EVGA 850W Gold Modular Power Supply| 500gb M.2 Solid State Drive 1tb 3.5 inch Hard Drive 5tb 3.5 inch Hard Drive I would also like to add a Vive Wireless adapter to my machine which will take up another PCIe slot The main purpose of this upgrade is to address these 2 issues I have with a prebuit HP Omen machine 1. The air flow is this case is horrible, with very limited intakes and only enough room for 1 rear exhaust fan and a 120mm AIO for the CPU Cooler. This machine runs very hot with idle temps of about 55C on the CPU 2. The motherboard only has a single PCIe Slot for the Graphics card, I need at least one more for the Vive Wireless adapter

Looking for some advice/recommendations on how to take my PC cooling to the next level (mods, please feel free to move this to the 'new builds' section if that's better). I currently have an i7-7700k in a gigabyte motherboard and an RTX 2070 SUPER, all enclosed in a Rosewill Stealth ATX Mid Tower (https://www.newegg.com/p/N82E16811147232). I am happy with the performance I am getting with the parts I have (plus, getting new gear will be a challenge) and my peripherals and office furniture have already gotten their upgrades. Unfortunately, my cooling is fairly dated (which is bad considering how important it is), so I'm looking to take that to the next level. I currently have 6 cheap Rosewill fans (2 front, 1 bottom, 2 top, and 1 rear), pulling air from the bottom and front, and exhausting top and rear. The case is on a high table, with adequate clearance (I have a pet, floor mount is a bad idea). CPU is cooled by a CoolerMaster Hyper Evo 212 (no surprise i know). My goals for this project are as follows: Fans: Upgrade the 6 cheaper case fans with actually nice ones. I do want red LEDs to match the build, but otherwise they do not need to be ARGB (and in fact, messing around with something like i-cue is something I would prefer to avoid) CPU Cooler: Upgrade the CPU cooler to something that I could do some light overclocking with. While the i7-7700k is doing fine for now, I still have no plans to upgrade CPU anytime soon, so I want to be ready to stretch it out. AIO or a better air cooler are both options. Custom loops are out for me at this time Software: Get better software monitoring of my temps for before and after. I had something janky and free with speedfan/rainmeter when I first did this build 5 years ago but it never worked properly. Embarrassingly, I don't have good data on my average CPU and GPU temps besides randomly checking the Gigabyte software or task manager Case: Unless persuaded otherwise, I don't plan to swap this case yet since it's fulfilling the purpose and honestly I don't feel like moving all the existing gear Budget: I'm looking to stay in the $100-$150 range for this upgrade, unless i get talked into upgrading the case, for which I would spent ~$100 more Thank you all in advance for the advice! Please let me know if there are any questions

I have an MSI MAG 240R cooling my ryzen 3600. About a month and a half ago the cooler started making a rattling noise. I started disconnecting fans and the pump and found out that it was the pump making the noise. A quick google search suggested that air bubbles are trapped in the pump and that I should shake around my PC. So today I did just that and it didn't make it better, it made it worse. I noticed that my pc was starting to freeze up and the only thing I was doing was watching YouTube. I checked temperatures and it was nearing 95c. I shut it off and took the cooler out. I gave it some shakes and put it back in. As of writing I am at 70c at idle. This is a 240 liquid cooler so I find this troubling. I still have the rattling noise and don't know what to do. At this point I'm debating buying a noctua air cooler.

Hi I bought a prebuild gaming pc, for some reason it was cheaper to buy it prebuild then building it myself got to love the GPUmarket. Anyway it came with the following specs: NZXT H511 Gigabyte B550M DS3H AMD Ryzen 5 5600X AMD Wraith Stealth Cooler HyperX Fury 16GB (3200MHz) Zotac Gaming GeForce RTX 3070 Twin Edge Now I heard that this cooler is not the best for this CPU so I'm looking to replace it with one under a 100 Euro's. And since this is my first in time owning a pc I don't know what to get. Do u guys have any recommendations that would fit in this pc, preferably in the color black and rgb would be nice but ofc not necessary TY

I have an I5 7th Gen and I've had it running with the stock cooler for a few years now. I figured it's time to upgrade it so I was thinking of buying a 120mm aio for it. I'm really confused On what I should look for to make sure it's compatable with my cpu / motherboard. Also I would love some aio recommendations and some advice. Thank you

Hello there, I'm planning to buy a cpu air cooler for my system. Here's my specs: Ryzen 3 3100 MSI B450 TOMAHAWK MAX Corsair CX 550W GTX 1060 I live in India so our ambient temps are pretty high especially in summer(45C+). Also my AMD stock cooler is starting to make soo much noise. Now I have gone through soo many coolers and reviews. Based on what's availability I basically have these 2 coolers. ARCTIC Freezer 34 Esports Duo: https://www.arctic.de/en/Freezer-34-eSports-DUO/ACFRE00060A Noctua NH U12S chromax black I also have hyper 212 evo(version 1 old one), rgb black edition available here in my region but it seems these 2 comes out on top. I really want to buy freezer 34 as its cheaper, offers 10 years of warranty and cooling performance is great and also it has dual fans so I'll add the 2nd fan as the exhaust fan. freezer 34 costs $56 at the moment. And U12S chromax black around $90 in my region. The thing I worry about is noise level and installation process. I read somewhere that freezer 34 installation in AM4 socket is tricky. Also I'm planning to upgrade my CPU with 6 cores such as ryzen 5 5600 or other 6 cores cpu in the future. Please let me know your suggestions. Thanks.

Just writing here to ask if there are any new cpu coolers I should look at. Haven't been keeping up to date with CPU coolers so just want to know if I the Hyper 212 Evo and Noctua NHD-12s are still top tier options. I know about the NHD-12s redux, but I'm willing to spend the extra Monopoly monies for the regular version.

How can i clean this at home, i know this is seriously bad, especially when i have my PC running 7-10 hours a day at minimum everyday. And the summer has just started and i hit max fan speeds all the time.

Hi I was watching some videos on installing the Noctua NH-D15 and was wondering which way the fans should point. The guide I was watching pointed the fans directly to the exhaust fan. I was told that it's better for the fan to point away from the blower so the airflow would bounce back towards the exhaust fan. Which is the correct way?

I have a Corsair H115i AIO water cooler. It’s the original one with no RGB that came out a few years back (link here for reference). It’s an older model before this new 1200 socket type came out and therefore doesn’t specifically indicate compatibility with the 1200 socket type. Does anyone know if 1151 compatible CPU coolers will also work for 1200 sockets or does it require an upgrade?

Hi everyone, I have a Noctua NH-U12S CPU cooler installed on a Ryzen 3700X CPU and although the included Noctua NF-F12 PWM fan claims a max 22.4 dB(A), I can hear a revving hum that seems to exceed it (30-40 dB(A)). To avoid some hassle, I do not want to replace the CPU cooler so I am tempted to replace the NF-F12 fan with a be quiet! Silent Wings 3 fan for its claimed 16.4 dB(A). Has anyone done this before and how were the results, please? Good/Bad idea? Thanks! IberMagnus
