Hey guys looking for advice on the best aio for a 12900k Im currently running a 12900k with a coolermaster ml360 v1 and its ok at cooling but not optimal. When running a bench my temps sky-rocket all the way up to 98°c with the cpu being undervolted to 1.2v unrestricted the cpu thermal throttles big time reaching 100°c very soon after starting the bench mark. My pump is running at 2000rpm fan curve is quite aggressive Mainly looking for a aio 360mm For specifics im running 12900k Cooler master Ml360 v1 The paste is thermal grizzly kryonaut 3080 ti ( is it normal for mem temps to be reaching 102°c when running a complex 3d render) 32gb of 3200mhz running xmp 1000w psu 6 fans in total 3 intake 3 exhaust

I've been getting upwards of 80+ c during gaming and and torn between whether i should get a new cpu cooler or not. After about an hour of gaming the cpu itself will heat up my room making it rather uncomfortable to game during hot days. Would a better performing AIO even fix this or am i doing something wrong. A previous thread said turning PBO off would help but im just not seeing the results i want. If getting an AIO will help i've seen about 20 different ones reccomended and not sure what to go with. Here are my specs just for those wondering. CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 5900X GPU: ASUS ROG Strix RTX 3080 10GB Gundam Edition CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-D15 Chromax RAM: G.Skill Trident Z Neo 32GB (2x16) 3600MHz CL16 Case: Fractal Design Meshify 2 White PSU: Corsair RM850 Ive got 3 Corsair QL140 140mm fans pulling air in from the front of the case with 1 exhaust, ive added another fan above the cpu cooler ontop of the case to see if that would help with the temps by spitting out hot air but doesnt seem to be making a difference. Thanks!

Hey guys i'm trying to get a new pc and i chose a ryzen 5 5600x for my cpu and i don't want to use the stock cooler, i live in south america so stock it's al little bit complicated but i found a cooler that looks pretty good, its the cooler master 410r RGB, i can't find any reviews on YouTube or forum of how this product performs with this CPU so if you have any idea of how it goes let me know :)

Hey! Here's my updated list, I just got the 3080 so there's the point of no return. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/QjN9fP Important is that it's a quiet build, I initially wanted to give it a nice look with distinct RGB, but then realized the updated CPU 5900x needs as much cooling as it could possibly get so here are my two questions: 1. What RAM do you recommend for this build? Initially aiming for the Trident Neo 3600 CL16 but realized that 1a) they might not fit depending on the cooler I choose. 1b) they might not be visible depending on the cooler I choose. 2. What cooler would you recommend? It's like a vicious cycle I am stuck in right now and could need some help, haha. Thanks guys!

(The image is my actual case). I just bought a new PC case and the generic coolers are in an intermittent rainbow ugly mode, I just want them to be of one specific color without fancy animations. I'm not understanding what should I do. I can change LED strip mode, but can't change coolers mode. I have an ASUS Prime A320M-K motherboard (without RGB headers) and RM550x Corsair PSU with molex of 4 pins like the image. I think Ill need to buy something right? What? (an amazon/ebay link would be ideal) Every cooler have a male 4 pin molex which are connected to PSU. Besides that, one of the cooler has a male 2 pin cable where it can be plugged to a VDG or a Reset button female cable. There is not other cable coming from the coolers.

Hello all, After doing much (hours and hours) of research, I just can't seem to choose a cooler for my Ryzen 5 5600x. My choices have come down to the SE-225-XT, the Esports 34 Duo or the Pure Rock 2. Initially, I was looking at something like the NH-D15, but I realized I didn't need that much performance. I won't be doing any OC, but I want to be able to reach the max boost speeds on the CPU without going over around 80C on max load. With the stock cooler, my CPU goes up to 95C playing games, so I really need a solution ASAP. Part of the issue is poor ventilation in my room as well as 105F California weather, but ideally it wouldn't exceed 80 max at full boost and load while also being quieter than stock. I would prefer under $50 and availability from Amazon, but I am open to other options. Any help would be very appreciated! My PCPartPicker list for reference: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/ytwDGq

So I upgraded my CPU from a ryzen 1700 to a ryzen 3900x. In the process I also switched to an aio water cooler. Oddly two of my ram sticks no longer work (maybe this is unrelated). In windows I don't see any audio outputs, I can see hdmi or camera/mic (USB) outputs but no headphone or microphone outputs. I have installed latest chipset drivers, I updated my bios to the latest version before switching my cpu, I installed latest realtek drivers and I reset my cmos. Is there anything else I should try before resetting windows 10 or buying a soundcard. My motherboard is AB350 Gaming 3. Thanks for any help! :)

So I'm finally upgrading my rig from an i7 6700k to the Ryzen 5800x. Microcenter has a great deal on them right now. So I've only ever cooled my cpus with aios but since dummy me lost the other mounting hardware for the current aio I'm left SOL. So I'm wanting to give air cooling a try does anyone hAve any recommendations that won't break the bank?

I have been looking on the market for a while and kind of been flip flopping around not being able to make up my mind trying to decide on new parts. So I waited to have a better budget and settled on 5800x and a new Mobo with a bit of flexibility for extra things. That's fine in all however I noticed I probably won't have a lot of headroom when it comes to the cooler (not wanting liquid cooled btw). It looks like the case I have has a maximum cooler height of 150mm but I am a bit stuck for choice finding the right thing for it. I was looking at the "Noctua NH-U9S" and seems to be quite small in height however it specifies on the site low turbo / low overclocking. Not sure how this translates to stock clock speeds but im sure that would be fine. Even if I potentially dip the voltage a little bit. Or I could go for a little bit more out of my budget for a "DARK ROCK TF 2" which is 134mm height, an overall better product and is compatible with the mobo. The obvious winner out of the two would be DARK ROCK but wanted to know if there are any other contenders under this size constraint as I haven't bought an after market cooler before. I do have another larger case with an older build in it that I can definitely fit a larger sized cooler in, however the current PC sits pretty much flush where it is now so I do wan't to keep this case because of that **Budget (including currency):** £50 - £80 **Country:** UK **Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for:** Programming, Gaming / VR, streaming, 3D usage & productivity use **Other details** (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): AMD Ryzen 7 5800X MSI MAG B550M MORTAR / Wifi Corsair CC-9011075-WW Carbide Series 100R

Hi guys I ran into a problem with my cooler today (Corsair H45 Hydro CPU Cooler AiO) and desperately need a replacement quickly basically it leaked and I'm looking for a good air cooler because this one was already replaced once already same reason (same one installed again) and I think I'm done with water-cooling for a bit.. I'm using a intel i7 6700k cooler not overclocked just the stock.. I'm doing long gaming sessions and I want something that would withstand that.. and here's my motherboard just to see if it would fit on it GIGABYTE Z170-Gaming K3 ATX Motherboard ps. I know it's a old rig but still works..

Hey. So I purchased a brand new Kraken x53 for my new build. Upon putting everything together and starting it up for the first time, everything looked great at first. I was in the bios tweaking some things before actually booting to windows when i noticed my CPU was getting hot. At this point it was in the red. So i immediately turned off my pc and checked all the cooler wires and made sure everything was good, which it was and as far as i’m aware still is. On the motherboard, the pump is plugged into AIO_PUMP, fans are plugged into CPU_FAN, and the other one (blue plug) is plugged into a USB header. And i have switched the pump and fan plugs with each other and even tried the CPU_OPT header, and same results. Also tried switching USB headers, nothing. Fans are spinning, pump is lighting up just fine. Everything is plugged into their respective headers. I even took off the pump, and reseated it using new thermal paste, same result. CPU will reach 80c within 10 minutes of being into the BIOS, which seems to be accurate as the base of the hoses on the pump feel hot to the touch aswell as the back of the pump. I have read the manual from front to back and everything looks good. Cooler is front mounted with hoses at the bottom. I have googled and googled and nothing has worked. I don’t even feel the pump working (by using touch to feel for vibrations). I have tried everything. This is very disappointing, i was excited to get everything running and even excited to try this cooler out as it’s been recommended by many. But so far it’s caused me quite a bit of stress, and unfortunately has delayed my build which I have been working on getting parts for for months. I can’t explain the disappointment in starting my first build in almost 8 years only to be set back by something like this. I have pictures of everything from the plugs, pump lights, fans spinning, to the cpu temps. Even a video of the cpu temp ramping up. Do you guys have any recommendations on things to try? I would really not like to go through the customer service system before trying everything I can first. If it helps I have a Maximus XI Hero with a i9-9900k Pics: Dropbox Thanks

I'm planning to upgrade my second PC, which is primarily gaming first, unlike my first PC, which is a mixed workload, here are the specs below: Intel Core i7-6700K Asrock Z270M ITX/AC Coolermaster Vortex 211p* G.Skill Ripjaw V DDR4 2133MHz (XMP disabled), 2x8GB Crucial MX500 500 GB (M.2 form factor) Toshiba 2x3TB HDD Galax GeForce GTX 1660 Super. iGPU is disabled. SilverStone SFX-L 500W Apevia Qpack3 1x120mm intake and 1x120mm outake Blu-ray Writer Windows 10 Pro 1 - I recently swapped out the Intel stock (copper base) to the Vortex 211p, because the motor is dying. Currently my sibling is playing: Halo series Cyberpunk 2077 Metro Exodus Warframe Forza Horizon 5 I may upgrade it to either i7-11700K or i9-11900K (it's $230 difference, for the bundle, which is the ASUS Prime Z590M-Plus). Unfortunately, most of the shops I've visited, no longer have 10th gen in stock, only 11th gen CPU. I mean, there's 10th gen, but only the Core i3 10th. I'm looking at top-down cooler design due to: Case design Need for VRM cooling Easier to dismount I've been trying to search for a good top-down design, but most of them are: Too bulky Incorrect fin direction Looks difficult to uninstall for maintenance purposes If it were any other case, I would've thrown a H212 (whichever the latest version, and not ITX case). Any recommendation would help!

I posted about this on reddit but no one ever responded, so I'm hoping someone here might have advice. My aio liquid cooler has been buzzing ever since I sat my computer on its side to replace the cpu. Hwmonitor says the pump is running at normal rpm and temperatures seem normal enough. Video links on google drive and further details on in the reddit post.

I've recently gotten some very quiet case fans, and this is the first time that I've noticed that the constant static buzzing sound that my PC has always made is not a sound of my case fans. at first I thought it could be the PSU but that's not where the noise is coming from. Upon further inspection, I can tell that the noise is coming from my CPU air cooler heatsink, or possibly my CPU. I've tested that it's not my cooler fan making the noise, and the cable for that fan is not interfering with anything.

Hello Guys, I just assembled a new computer. Computer Specs : AMD 5600G Asus TUF GAMING A520M-PLUS Corsair 8GB X 2 DDR4 3200MHZ Corsair VS450 WD 1TB SSD LG 32inch 4K Monitor AMD Stock Cooler Windows 11 Problem 1 - Sometimes the Screen Image just enlarges(Zooms in - Things on screen get a little bigger than usual) for 5seconds and then back to normal. Problem 2 - Sometimes it hangs and i have to restart the computer. I have to tell you that many times my computer is ON for 2-3days straight,I don't switch it off.But sometimes these problems happen even if it is on for 5-6hours. Please suggest a solution. Thankyou. This is for upgrading Budget (including currency): ~620€ give or take Country: Germany Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Main focus is gaming (newer AAA etc.), however it'll be also used for compiling and occasional 3d rendering Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I'm currently running a GTX 1070 with an I7 4790 and 16 gb if ddr3. While not bad I wanted to build a new PC but since GPUs are hard to come by for a reasonable price I just want to upgrade since I find myself more often then not CPU limited. (Monitors: 1080p at 144hz and 1080p at 60hz) I am planning to stick with my Corsair carbide 600c case, my 650 watt power supply, my PCIe WiFi card as well as my 4 sata drives and my sata DVD drive. And get an M.2 nvme SSD later down the line. I wanted to get an Ryzen 7 5800x to in the future pair with an RTX 3070 or the equivalent on the market when prices come down. I'm not sure however if the Ryzen 7 would present the best value or an Ryzen 5 5600x would be good enough and at over 100€ less present a significantly better price to performance ratio. My current shopping list/plan is as follows: Ryzen 7 5800x (~ 379,00€) Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 3200MHz (~ 72,90€) However I'm not sure on the mainboard. The current contenders are: MSI MPG B550 Gaming Plus (~ 113,00€) Asus ROG Strix B450-F Gaming II (~ 107,90€) ASUS ROG Strix B550-F Gaming(~ 171,90€) with the latter on being significantly more expensive and I was wondering whether the second one which I'm tending towards is suited for it. Are there better price to performance boards I missed. Moreover I would need a new CPU cooler. I'm not sure what to get. Nocuta is good but not exactly cheap. What would be suitable coolers air or aio for around 60-70€. Should I stick to my Ryzen 7 plan or would you recommend another CPU and if not what would be an advisable mainboard and cooler combo?

Are custom loops better than regular air coolers or AIO’s in terms of temps? I’ve been thinking about this for a while now and I know, custom loops look sick if they are done correctly. But is it actually practical for temps? Do you get way better temps from it for your CPU and GPU? Are they easy to build?

I’ve heard a bunch of people that say that for like a 5600X or something, get a 3rd party cooler because the stock cooler won’t be good enough. What about for other AMD processors, like the 3100, 5600G, etc. Is the stock good for lower-powered processors?

Hello! I have ordered the 12600k after watching linus’ video and I’m not sure what cooler I should pick, I know that he had mention/used the Noctua NH-D15 but I’m not quite sure if I should get that cooler or not (not looking for bang for the buck, just trying to get the best possible air cooler) Thanks!
