hey I was playing a game when the black screen crash happened and I did restart my pc ( This didn't happen before for 2 months and before that it was about like per 10 12 hours usage once) here is the log of when crash happened https://ufile.io/20essvq9 when I log in . my memory and clock was stuck at low very low as you can see in log . I did mess around with drivers installing and reinstalling again and again ( one time I had it before and it got fixed using this method without any problem ) as you can see in the next log https://ufile.io/9z5o5lh1 and now things are little complicated since I somehow fixed it so it won't stuck at low clock all the time now but it drops like this log https://ufile.io/serdda7j I feel like when is like around 1936 clock my screen is some how a bit lagging and a 10 fps drop maybe my spec : cpu : intel core i7 7700k ------ ram: gskill tridntz 3200 2x8gb (F4-3200C16D-16GTZB) ---- motherboard: strix z270f gaming ----graphic: zotac 1080ti amp editon --power: antec HCG 750M--- cpu liquid cooler : cooler master masterliquid 240 lite ----- hdd: WD Blue 1 TB -- - ssd : 970 evo plus m2 Things that I did to solve my problem : 1 -reinstalling the driver using ddu 2- try the old driver 3- set power to max in windows and nvidia control panel 4- using msi after burner to limit the clock but somehow it manage to go 1900 again

Hi everyone. Due to the new update of the valorant anti cheat, a friend of mine needed to enable tpm 2.0 and secure boot, once the computer restarted it showed black screen and no POST, so we tried to unplug the cable from the power, turn off the power supply from the switch, remove the CMOS battery for 30 seconds and put it back, once restarted nothing has changed. So we tried to remove the battery for about 30 minutes and reset the CMOS from the clr_cmos jumper. Always black screen. Any type of help is appreciated. I don't know what to do fix the issues I am having. I am currently having Black Screen issues whenever I game along with various BSOD's on rare occasions. Specs: Ryzen 9 5900X Asus ROG Strix X570-E EVGA 2080ti FTW3 Seasonic FOCUS Hybrid 850w 80 Plus Platiunum Samsung 980 1 TB M.2 Crucial P1 1TB M.2 I have a tried the following = Uninstalled and reinstalled the Nvidia drivers using DDU. Uninstalled and reinstalled older Nvidia drivers to try something different. Also using DDU Swapped GPU's with another EVGA 2080ti FTW3 along with uninstalling and reinstalling all Nvidia drivers. Wiped SSD (Crucial P1) using Drive Wipe on ASUS MB and reinstalled Windows 10 along with all the drivers for operation only such as Chipset, Display, etc. Also updated BIOS to the latest version 4010. Bought a new SSD (Samsung 980), reinstalled Windows 10 along with all the drivers for operation only such as Chipset, Display, etc. Swapped Motherboards with a B550 and the 5900X after reading there could be an issue with the MB through ASUS's FAQ's on the support site. Updated all drivers as needed such as Chipset, Display, etc. Swapped Motherboards back to the X570, but put my old 3900X back in the motherboard. This previous combo had NO PROBLEMS whatsoever before now. The problem now transferred over to the old combo. Swapped back and am on yet another fresh OS install, but did not update anything other than Windows Updates. No problems for two days, then everything came right back. Also started having other issues where OBS has constantly crashed everytime I stream. I have tried playing games using a clean boot and only the files needed to run the game. I don't know what else to do at this point. I have a 3080ti and a new PSU coming tomorrow. I am going to try and install them and see what happens, but Im really thinking this is some sort of Windows issue. The Event viewer has listed multiple issues for the crashes such as nvddlmkm.dll, d3dxxx.dll, UnityPlayer.dll, and many other errors. If anyone has any ideas on what to do here I would be greatly appreciated. At this current point in time. I am one more crash away from setting this thing on fire in the back yard. Lol. Thanks in advance for any help. Forgive me if I don't respond instantly, but I will try to get to them as soon as I can.

In my last thread I asked about cloning a drive. It seem to have worked perfectly. The issue: after that I tried to reboot back into windows but I am only getting a black screen after turning the machine on. I tried resetting a bunch of times and once got it to work/into BIOS and set my OC profile because it had gone into save boot. Shouldn't have done that because I had to reset again instead of continuing to boot. So now I have forced a shutdown with Ted power button more than 10 time and still don't have any display out. The system used to work before that. I tried removing the source SSD (from the cloning process) and reinserting it again for. The debug LEDs on the board turn off so it has completed start up successfully. I just don't get a display out and I don't get why. Specs are 3900x Asusu X570 I gaming 2080 Ti (two display port and on. HDMi connected)

This issue only arose when i installed the card My old card (GTX 1080 ti) never encountered this issue. Ive done vbios updates, new drivers for both gpu and monitor, unistalling drivers, cleared cmos, enabled HAGS (aparrently a fix on earlier rtx 30 series cards) but still no luck. Any advice would be welcome before i open up an rma request eith evga Many thanks, DaButterGamer

I got 6800xt and I keep getting a black screen that last for 4-5 seconds before sign in/welcome screen in boot. The problem doesn’t occur whenever I uninstall the drivers. Once I install the drivers the problem persists. I tried a lot of different things. updating bios. updating windows. installed all kind of different drivers. Clean windows 10 installation. Nothing worked. I even recorded it with my phone so anyone can see the issue more clearer. I attached the dxdiag file as well. Just so you guys know I contacted amd support and after they checked the video they told me this is normal. Now is it normal for real? my brother has the same specs as me but with nvidia 3070 FE, and doesn't have this problem. ALSO the card performs as it should in gaming no issues in that at all. Thanks. Hey, so I just went on a discord call, then my pc suddenly crashed. Afterwards I tried to turn on my pc, it goes on, cpu fan turns on too, lights are going on, but there is no screen showing. My pc is almost 7 months old, it has: Corsair CV650 MSI B450 carbon pro max wifi Asus Tuf Gamin Radeon 5600XT AMD Ryzen 3600XT 4x8GB G.Skill DDR4-3200 Kingston SSD 960GB WD NVMe M.2 SSD 1TB 3 Freakin monitors, 1 BenQ XL2411p and 2 other Terra Monitors. 2 DPs and 1 HDMI is connected. No signal at all. So let me describe exactly, what I tried: First I saw that the VGA light on the mainboard went on, so I turned off my pc, plugged the cables out. Took the gpu out, blew into the PCI slots (because everyone does this) and put the gpu back. The VGA light didnt turn on again but it remains with no signal... I tried out another GPU I had, GTX 670, but still didn't work. So I realized it couldnt be my GPU. The mainboard might be the issue. It has the newest bios update. Did that a month ago, but had no issues at all. What should I do now?

I've had an Acer AL1916 monitor for a while but never used it, so I decided to use it as a second monitor. Bought an HDMI-to-VGA adapter, connected it, and no picture (monitor is detected, shows up correctly in screenshots (you can see attachment) but black screen). I can confirm the adapter works, as I tried on 2 other laptops (one on Win7 and one on Win10 1803) and it works perfectly there, therefore I think the problem is either my GPU or something else in my computer. I already clean-reinstalled GPU driver, no difference. Now, I'm going to try reinstalling windows and see if that makes a difference If you've got any ideas for a solution, please share. GPU: Geforce GTX 1660 Super (Gigabyte Gaming OC 3-fan version)

Am having issues with my computer where it just back screens, when the screen goes black the keyboard tuns off (lights) like if I've just shut down the computer. However everything else inside the PC is on and running lights are on and I have no idea why this is happening. This happed before I cleaned the CPU which did have some black residue on the pins, this has only started to happen recently and hasn't happened before until now. This mainly happens when I click on an application like chrome, I've installed the drivers for the GPU put a old GPU in to see if it was my GPU however the problem still persists with the other GPU. I have a feeling that it could be my CPU socket but am.not 100% on this since it's only started recently.

FiveM crashes without any error message Automobilista 2 crashes and turns all 3 screens black for a few sec and i was watching a twitch stream at that moment and gave me a playback 3000 error because of the crash. i tried both on highest, medium and lowest settings. this did not help. deleting my user profiles also didnt help as for some people this did help. Both games are on separate ssd's. PC specs are: 32GB ram 3200mz i7 8700k 4,6hz 1080ti

Alright hello everyone.. So I have this issue with my computer and I can't seem to figure it out it's driving me crazy.. It is a prebuilt from CyberpowerPC (only bought it because I couldn't get my hands on a 3070 and this had one) anyways.. The specs are as follows: CPU: Ryzen 7 3700x Motherboards: Gigabyte 450M DS3H Wi-Fi V2-CF Ram: Crucial Ballistic 3000 Mhz 8 GB x2 GPU: EVGA RTX 3070 XC3 Ultra PSU: Enermax REVOLUTION D.F. 850w AIO: Corsair H115i Elite Capellix 280M Storage: Adata Swordfish NVMe SSD Now for the issues (I'll list any/all issues I've had recently/information I've gathered) #1 Randomly on boot-up normally only after being off for 4+ hours after logging into windows with the pin the screen will go black, keyboard and fan rgb freeze, keyboard stops responding (pushing num lock does not turn numlock light off) the only thing I can do is push and hold the power button to force it to turn off and then turn it back on.. Normally on the 2nd boot up after the issue the computer is fine and works as normal.. (Event logs show nothing) #2 Randomly on boot-up normally only after being off for 4+ hours after logging into windows with the pin I'll get some screen artifacting followed by a small freeze, followed by my screens going black then coming back on. Event logs show 'Event ID 14 from source nvlddmkm cannot be found.' (I haven't had this issue since uninstalling iCUE.) #3 Sometimes opening iCUE causes issue #2 #4 Tried to reinstall iCUE got issue #1 in a boot-loop the screen would just go black after entering windows pin. After 10 or so force reboots windows just instantly BSOD with 'Critical Process Died' (even when attempting to boot into safe mode) And I had to reinstall windows. #5 (Has happened twice only after reinstalling windows) BSOD 'WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR' Followed by 'select proper boot device' at post. (Fixed both times by going into bios and selecting Windows Boot Manager as boot device) Things I've tried: I can't update the motherboard bios because I can't find this motherboard on their website. (CyberpowerPC OEM?) Stress test CPU & GPU. (Pass no issues) Ran Memtest. DDU and reinstalling drivers. Reseating GPU & Ram. Uninstalling iCUE. (seems to help?) Reinstalling windows. SFC scan etc. (sometimes there is an error found, normally nothing found) Reseating PSU cables. Unplugging commander core from motherboard usb header. (Only tried this once didn't seem to help) Disabled RGB Fusion in bios. Notes: Issue(s) happen at least once a day (Normally at first boot) I was able to use the PC without any issues for 3 days by disabling iCUE at boot until I decided I wanted to change the fan color then it came back.

Hello there, I need some help, as when I alt tab out of borderless / windowed full screen applications, my screen turns black for a few seconds after tabbing back in. More precisely i'm talking about League of Legends on Borderless full screen, its the only game i've tested, however my mates were streaming the other day on discord, and I watched it on full screen, when I clicked off on my second monitor and clicked back on the stream, the exact same thing happened, so its safe to assume it would happen in all games on borderless. I know its a thing on Full screen games, which is why I used borderless for the longest time, and have not encountered this issue with the exact same set up until recently. Keep in mind the monitor does not go black EVERY time, but most of the time, which makes it more confusing. I have G-sync disabled on both monitors. What i've tried: - I tried using my secondary monitor as the gaming one, and the issue was gone, it has not flickered a single time despite alt tabbing out. - Changing up the display port cable - Updating gpu drivers - tried finding drivers for the monitor but none exist apparently. - resetting the monitors settings to default My setup: Windows 10 RTX 2070 Super (updated to latest drivers) Intel I7 9700k Monitors: Asus Rog XG258Q (1080p & 240hz) <----- The monitor that flickers Aorus AD27QD (1440p & 144hz) Any help on this would truly be appreciated, thanks in advance.

Okay... I have spent 60hours playing this game with plenty of issues but the crashing got less frequent after enabling HAGS however now its now unplayable. major issue right now is after about a minute of game play my PC screens (2 main and secondary) disconnect and go into power saving, at the same time I can here windows sound (ping sound) when you get a error, I assume Graphic driver crash or something but I cant see it. to be clear, I can sit in the main landing page of the game for ages but once the game is loaded and being played I have about a minute sometimes less. Edit: game crashes when trying to open to "load" option form the title screen(landing page), hence I cant try to open an old save game... I have tried the following: enabled HAGS updated windows clean installed GPU drives. latest GPU drivers increased paging file size on boot drive and the drive the game is installed on. tried default clocks on the GPU. disabled shader optimisations run the game as administrator allowed the shader optimisation to complete before loading game save. validated games file ...at least 4 times. reinstalled the game (edit 26/07/2021) Im running the following Hardware: I7 4770k @4.5ghz. 1080 Ti, MSI Aero model. Asus Formula Mobo 32gb of corsair LPX memory. boot drive and gamed drive are Samsun SSDs. VRM, GPU and CPU all under a custom loop, temps below 50 even after 6+ hours of playing games or looped benchmarks. Edit: Installed the game on a different PC running: 16gb ram Radeon RX570 AMD R5 3600 On a different PC there was no issue, hence assuming hardware issue at this point. I'm truly at a loss now, any help would be great, thanks. Thanks!

Problem Explained: PC crashes at random times, black screen (sometimes its grey screen at first, then it eventually goes black) while fans keep spinning, RGB strip also on, CPU LED lights up on the motherboard and no more audio coming through. To get my system running again, I have to press restart switch on my case. Before the crash, audio sounds distorted/loops/freezes for half second or so, if there is any audio playing while the crash happens. What I have tried to fix the problem: RMA'd CPU, Motherboard, RAM, PSU, and SSD as advised by Mindfactory (company i purchased parts from) they told me everything is fine and sent it back to me. Reinstalling windows (clean install), Reinstalling all drivers, using a different outlet, Updating BIOS(3 different versions), reseating the CPU, reseating GPU, using a different GPU (r7 260x 1gb sapphire oc), reseating RAM, using different RAM, unplugging and plugging all cables, using different PSU, changed power supply idle control (from auto to Typical current idle) in BIOS/AMD CBS, ran memtest86 (zero errors), I've ran benchtests like cinebench, heaven benchmark, prime95 and Intel burn test multiple times to try and recreate the crash but i had no luck. All temps look fine, crash also happened plenty of times while my PC was idle with temps 30c-35c. I've also had the crash happen on 3 different monitors with 3 different cables. Additional details: I used to have XMP enabled and ran my RAM on 2933mhz, then i turned the XMP off and ran my ram at 2133mhz to see if that was causing my problem. I thought the problem went away with XMP OFF but my PC crashed again with everything set on stock, no OC anywhere at all and XMP turned OFF (even thought i think XMP should work with my configuration). Only thing i noticed is, when XMP is turned ON the crashes are more frequent. For example, PC ran fine for 2 months with XMP off then all of the sudden it crashed, and with XMP on it crashed in 15 days. All in all, crashes are random, sometimes they happen 2 times in 20 mins and sometimes it takes 2 months. I've been dealing with this ever since I bought it (over 1 year ago) and cant seem to find what's causing the problem. Also can't figure out a way on how to recreate the crash, that would be really helpful. Any tips/info are greatly appreciated. Thank you!

So I had a problem a while ago which was when I opened (Movies & TV) and tried to press any button in the app it would give me a black screen and I would have to keep spamming alt+tab until the black screen was gone. and just a few days ago all windows apps had the same issue but worse; when I try to open any windows app it would give me the black screen and I would have to spam alt+tab to fix it too but even after I got rid of the black screen I could never use the apps if I try to tab back into the app it would black screen again until I completely closed the app which wasn't easy either. I tried to look for so many fixes and tried everything, but nothing seemed to work, so I reinstalled windows and made it so that it would leave nothing on my C drive when it was done everything was fine for like an hour then all of the sudden I try to open windows settings and a black screen again, same as before, but all other windows apps where fine. I was trying anything to fix it but nothing then I right-clicked settings and pressed app settings it opened fine and I could navigate every bit of the settings but as soon as I pressed home it would black screen just like before which is pretty weird that only the home screen in the settings gives the black screen now. If anyone can help me with this issue I would be very grateful. here are my PC's specifications: OS - Windows 10 x64-bit What OS was originaly installed on the system? windows 10 Is the OS an OEM version (came pre-installed on system) or full retail version (YOU purchased it from a retailer)? Preinstalled Age of system (hardware) almost 2 years CPU model Intel® Core™ i7-9750H Processor Video Card model GeForce GTX 1660 Ti System Manufacturer Exact model number GL63 9SDK-614US-BB7975H16G1T0DX10MA Laptop or Desktop? Hi everybody, a friend of mine just bought a new Gaming rig and after a few days the pc went black screen and the GPU fan at max speed. He bought every single component brand new except for his SSD and HDD. He did a clean OS installation in the SSD and use the HDD as an Archive. Thats his specs: X570 Gigabyte Ryzen 5 5600x Rtx 2060 6gb 2x8gb ram ddr4 3200mhz gskill rip jaws Has a be quiet cooler for his cpu and a 700w be quiet PSU. It has happened only one time. Could this be a problem with his old component (SSD/HDD)? Thanks im advance for the help guys!

So, I have just built my very first PC and everything has gone pretty well... until I have come to the point of needing to install the OS... I can get the PC to boot, fans spin, AIO cooling the CPU etc. etc. as well as being able to successfully get into the BIOS and apply changes while i'm in there. Once I have made any changes however, I go to install Windows 10 from my USB drive and it just sits there on a black screen endlessly. When I say black screen, I mean that it exits the BIOS and sits there, doing nothing. I do not see a mouse pointer and it doesn't respond to keyboard inputs. I've tried just leaving it for an hour or more and still, nothing. The screen doesn't turn off either or tell me there is no input. I can see the backlight as well so, it's definitely on. So, I can get into the BIOS so seems to be able to display graphics somewhat but, I can't even get a Windows logo, spinning wheel or anything once I am out of the BIOS. I have tried flashing and updating the BIOS and firmware on the board - this is all up to date and ensured I had the latest from ASUS' website. I have also tried resetting my BIOS to default settings but no go. I've also tried a different USB drive/pen, USB slots on my board but still nothing. I am absolutely stumped and lost at what else I can do. The only error I received when booting was the CPU fan not spinning (but that's expected because I have an AIO, not a fan on the CPU so, I have disabled this in the BIOS). My M2 drive is recognised with no issue, the USB drive I am using to try and install the OS is recognised and it tries to load from this drive. I can see the activity light blinking pretty much constantly after telling it to boot from the USB drive. To create the bootable USB drive from Microsoft's website, I downloaded the relevant tool and then selected to create a bootable USB drive (rather than ISO) but, I could try the ISO version just in case. Unfortunately, I do not have any other devices that use M2 slots to test the drive but, this was brand new off of Amazon so, hoping it wouldn't be an unlucky defective unit at least. System Build: Intel i9 11900k ASUS ROG Hero Maximus XIII Crucial P2 M.2 2280 250 GB drive (installed into the M2_4 slot on MOBO) 32GB (2x16GB) Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO 3000MHz DDR4 (No GPU - using inbuilt graphics in CPU while waiting for GPU) Any help, tips or advice would be grand! I'd love to get my new rig up and running!

Hi guys I need some help with my system, tnx in advance for any ideas. Also this is my first post so sorry if something is wrong. Before explaining my issue I want to get some things up front : · English is not my main language so excuse my mistakes please. · I´m aware that my CPU is not officially compatible with my motherboard, thats why i´m looking for suggestions of more experimented peolpe. · I use to put PCs togehter in the LGA 775 era so I’m comfortable inside a PC but i´m not really familiar with all the BIOS options now a days. · My sister has an "almost identical” PC, instead of an HDD she has a 1Tb Kingston NVMe a2000, a Ryzen 5 3600 and a MSI GTX 1650 Super 4Gb GDDR6. This system works fine whit most games without touching the settings. Because of this i guess when i´m update my system (first NVMe, then GPU and later CPU) my system will work fine but i´ve seen this processor run games in 1080 low settings and i´m not able to do this, so here I am looking for help. So with that out of the way here are the parts of my Frankenstein : · MSI MAG Mortar B550M WiFi · Corsair 2x8Gb CMK16GX4M2B3200C16 · AMD Ryzen 5 3400G 3.7 Ghz 4Core AM4 · Cooler Master MasterWatt 650W 80Plus Bronze · Seagate ST2000M08 2Tb · Cooler Master MCB-Q300L · Windows 10 x64 So now to the issue : When I try to run a game after a couple of minutes, even sometimes a couple of seconds my monitor goes dark like when i shut down the PC, the audio stops and the fans keep spining at the same speed they was spining when the monitors goes dark. As i mention before I was aware this CPU is not officially supported by B550 motherboards but I really wanted an upgradable PC and i wasn’t 100% sure in november last year that B450 motherboards going to be fully compatible whit Ryzen 6 (which i plan to upgrade in the future). So because of this I´m aware that maybe my issue doesn´t have another solution that upgrade my CPU and add a GPU BUT i really wanna ask for help because maybe somebody has some cool ideas. When this black screen happen I have to shut down the powe supply, wait a couple of seconds and power it up again and press the power up button for the case. I know the case is not really the best for air flow but all the components in there keep in normal range even when it allows me to play for a couple of hours. And even if I remove the side panel and put an external fan this keeps happening. I´ve tryed adjusting the memory speed to the 2933Mhz supported by the processor with no luck. This happen whit the original BIOS E7C94 v12 from 03-08-20 and do the same with the latest one (7C94 v18 from 09-07-21). Sometimes this happen less frecuently when I update the APU driver to the lastest version but right now keeps happening with the Adrenalin 24.6.1, 21.7.2 and the optional 21.8.1. Again i have seen online this APU running games like Forza 4 at 1080 low settings decently, but my PC goes black even running Gang Beast or Lonely Mountains Downhill. When my PC is working decently I can run GTA V at 1280 x720 ☹or gang beast in really low settings but i really would love to hear some suggestions to make my system stable. This never happen playing minecraft for W10 btw. Hope I can update my PC “soon” but with the current situation -financially- and with the GPU prices/scalpers who really knows when this will be, thats why I´m trying to look for some advise to be able to play in my current PC. Thank you to every one who get to this point and again thanks in advance for any help.

So Im recording Rise Of The Tomb Raider at 24 QCP 1440p / 60 with "game capture" and it randomly just records "nothing" aka only sound and a black screen. Usually happens after i recorded something and exit the game… when i boot up the game again and record something is when it happens - which is the weird part. Plus I used to record at 22 QCP orginally and that didnt happen… Also - yes, i sometimes catch OBS saying "overload" but that didnt happen until previously either, plus it doesnt actually stop the recording from working just fine … its the *next* video where it will (most likely) record a black screen… Also doesnt happen when I use display capture (so far) guess something messes up OBS, maybe the fact ROTTR runs in exclusive fullscreen? Just wondering if anyone knows why this keeps happening ? I also tried changing a few things, resolution, canvas size, etc, didnt really help. Also Im playing with Nvidia DSR, that could be a factor? Edit: well, i really have no clue whats causing this… I set it to 1080p and its still doing it so I doubt DSR has anything to do with it. Also display capture isnt a solution as thats really laggy for some reason. The game captures are *perfect* IF they work…

Starting with the RGB on my cooler pump/rad fans freezing and the USB disconnect sound repeatedly going off and reconnecting about a week into building the PC when playing Horizon Zero Dawn. I thought this was just new PC teetering issues, as it only happened when using an xbox controller with the 2.4ghz dongle for it. That issue happened once while playing Rocket League then it never happened again so I forgot about it. Recently I got Cyberpunk 2077 and upon playing the game for about 15 minutes the RGB on the same components plus my ram completely froze and the framerate completely plummeted (high settings with nearly max Ray Tracing on 3440x1440), I could still pause and the menus would respond with the cursor but no input would work. After a hard reset of my PC I relaunched the game to see if it happened again and after 5 minutes the same issue occured (mostly at med settings with no ray tracing), I reset my PC again and opened task manager and HWmonitor to see if there were any anomolies anywhere, I relaunched the game and got about 20 minutes through and it froze again after I paused the game. Again menus and task manager and HWmonitor would highlight when I hovered my cursor over them but wouldn't respond to any input, I didnt see any problems in the HWmonitor or Task Manager the only thing I wasn't sure about was my GPU was at 100% usage but my temps were fine (mid 60s avg). Again I reset my PC but uninstalled CP2077. Tried playing RL, but it wouldnt get past the loading screen, I could force close the game through task manager. This happened 3 times in a row. Then I tried Apex Legends and that wouldnt get past the intro. When I tried to force close the game with Task Manager little solid black and clear boxes started popping up on my screen. I obviously got worried and reset my PC, updated my drivers and that seemed to work so I redownloaded CP2077 and all the issues came back after launching, after uninstalling again I ran a DDU on the system, downloaded the latest drivers for my GPU and AMD chipset along with updating the bios to the latest stable version. This seemed to have the desired affect, Until 3 days ago (28/8/21) those little square and rectangles started showing up but only when I was scrolling through my emails and a form I was filling out on the internet. I done some research and couldn't find anything. The next day I launched Apex and the game would keep black screening, unrecognising my 2nd monitor and then crash and the desktop would only show on my main monitor and the other wouldnt recognised any signal. I'm honesly so lost, I want to see if there is any fix to this at all. My last resort is RMA and warranty, just because of the hassle, and not knowing what the issue actually is. I've reseated and swapped my ram around as well as the GPU and still having the issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Hi all, This is my second post about this issue as the first one was no help. So basicaly I have a Ryzen 5 5600X mounted on a Gigabyte B550 Aorus Pro (V1) and for some reason my GPU (RTX 2072 Super) won't produce any output when mounted in the top PCI-E slot but will work fine in the seconds PCI-E slot... I don't know if it's about the new gen 4 thing or the shared lanes with the CPU... I'm kinda noob about that. I also have a Samsung 970 SSD in the top m.2 slot. I tried every combination of putting both on top slots, one top one bottom, both bottom and nothing seems to help my case. Simple and short, GPU powers up and fans spin on the top PCI-E but no output. Works perfectly fine in the second PCI-E. Ideas? Just updated my chipset driver and the mobo BIOS is kind of updated (had to to make it compatible with Ryzen 5000. Thanks all

Had a few power outages, my pc managed to get into bios and windows a few times, but now doesn't boot/post, just a black screen. When turned on: -black screen -CPU/GPU fans do the usual ramp up then ramp down -USB(rear io) keyboard doesn't work, tried just having only one plugged at the time -PS2 Keyboard lights up for a split second as it's turned on -HDD spins normally, no ramp up -motherboard has green LED which stays on when PSU is on. Things I've tried -Different PSU, wall outlet, extension cord -Unplugged psu, cleared CMOS, jumped the start pins for 30 seconds. Also tested the PSU on another pc, works fine. -New CMOS battery -Unplugged HHD & SSD, tried having both and either one plugged in. Both SSD & HDD confirmed working on another pc. -GPU confirmed working on another pc, also tried motherboard DVI port. Black screen. There seems to be a signal though, as my monitor will cycle through the ports if it's not receiving any signal. It switches and stays on the connected port. Also tried different PCIE slots. -no other way to test DDR3 ram. It was working fine yesterday, all matching 4x4gb was detected, was left running while I was zero-ing my HDD. Corsair Vengeance DDR3 1600mhz (CMZ4GXM1A1600C9). tried 1/2/3/4 sticks at a time, MEMOK led stays off. -tried known faulty DDR3 kingston ram, MEMOK led stays solid red. Pressing the MEMOK button the red led will blink as it tried to configure it to a stable state but failed to do so, returning back to solid red. Weird behavior when I managed to get into BIOS -Bios would freeze up and keyboard(both PS2/USB, tried one at a time) would be unresponsive. The NUM led will stay on but pressing it changes nothing, same with CAPS/SCROLL. -2 times the text in the Bios would be glitchy/out of place, then freeze up and keyboard unresponsive. -once or twice it didn't show post/bios and just went into a black screen with underscore on the top left -I did clear cmos, unplug the PSU when these things happened Now it just shows a black screen, no more underscore on the top left. No post/bios. Specs: Asus P8Z77-V LX i5 3570k Corsair Vengeance DDR3 1600mhz (CMZ4GXM1A1600C9) 4x4gb Adata SU800 246gb, 1TB WD Caviar Green EVGA Supernova 650 G+ Ordered a CH314a programmer to check the bios chip. Will try to find another CPU to test it with, along with a speaker for the motherboard.

Anyway I guess we should get started, First I'll list what recently happened to my pc.. After a lot of issues with mouse polling rate and fps drops I went and bought another motherboard, so far I'm really happy with it as it fixed a ton of issues I had with my old motherboard! Anyway I was playing Rainbow 6 and my pc crashed with these weird pixels on it before shutting down and restarting. I thought oh that's weird but thought nothing too much of it, after that I continued playing and the same thing happened again. I thought it was just that game but I played another game and the same thing happened after a little bit of play time, its happened 4 times in total so far and it seems to vary from 20 minutes of gameplay to a couple hours. I followed a guide on Bsod and made sure everything was updated, I did a sfc scan and a "chkdsk /r on my ssd and nothing popped up. I suspected it was my Psu but at the same time when the crashes happen my computer doesn't immediately shut off, instead it kind of sits there frozen. I'll give you any info you need but I'm really stumped right now. It seems to only happen when playing games but watching YouTube and stuff like that seems to be fine. I guess I also enabled Resizeable Bar but I'm just really not sure why that would be an issue. Thanks for any support and have a great day! Picture of what it looks like when it crashes----> crashed
