http://www.mwave.com.au/groupbuy Over here (on MWave) are Astro A40's going for only $85! 43% off! (Original $149) This is an Australian website. Astro A40's are extremely comfortable and sound very nice, especially when gaming. They are semi-open back. The best gaming headphones I've ever used. Although the sound quality is great, the mic quality isn't that amazing. Though I use an external mic, so it hasn't been a factor for me. Both White and Black Astro A40's are on sale (for the same price).

Being a user of Apple Pay, and loving it, not having to unlock my phone and also having the ability to use my watch (even when my phone is't present) that is extremely handy as well, albeit a lot more awkward to do. I feel that unless Apple also opened up the Apple Pay API, everyone solution would be garbage in comparison. Being able to hold my phone next to the NFC terminal takes literally seconds since I don't have to unlock my phone and look around pages of apps for my bank app, then sign into that one and so on, holding everyone up while you do so. Apple will open up the NFC at some point not necessarily iOS 10 or 11 but they will, they'll have to and when they do it'll cause a lot of apps that just don't hold up as well as Apple Pay's senselessness and perfect integration into iOS. However saying that it will benefit all these other areas is true, although to my knowledge a lot of these can be achieved though Apple's wallet app, but I may be wrong and it probably only allowed for certain developers. Hello fellow Aussies! I am just wondering if any of you live in Sydney and know stores which will have the RX 480 on the release date (29th june). I live on the north shore (Hornsby area) but am willing to travel to the city or Ryde area. A link to the store website and/or a phone number would be great. Thanks

If you've been following Australian politics, you'll understand that Labor have practically revoked all of their promises that they made. Hopefully, if the Australian public vote right, it'll mean that Australia will be in surplus *cough cough* liberal *cough cough* by 2020. The politicians will stop spending money and start repaying loans. If you've got different takes on this, leave it below. -Alpha.

Hi. I've been having a few issues with my motherboard, mainly around the rear-panel audio. I've diagnosed the speakers and they even work through the front panel audio on my case. I don't want to spend money on getting a sound card, so I would like to (hopefully if the warranty's still up) RMA the motherboard to Gigabyte. I've owned the motherboard for about 16 months now, how would I go about RMA'ing the board? Or is it better to go to the place where I bought my computer? Thanks, Alpha.

Hey, Just wonderring if anyone knows of any good gaming laptop deals in Australia at the moment? Doesn't specifically need to be a 'gaming' model but would prefer an i7-xxxxHQ cpu, with a GTX850m or better, with a 1080p screen. Goal price is $1000 australian, but can stretch a bit. This is the best thing I've found so far: http://www.msy.com.au/notebooks/15444-acer-nitro-vn7-591g-79fb-i7-4720hq-8g-1tb-156fhd-win81-64bit-4g-gtx960m.html

Currently collecting hardware for a new build. i already have: GeForce GTX 1070 G1 Gaming (awaiting shipment) Asus Maximus VIII Ranger 16gig (2x8) corsair vengeance 2400mhz ddr4 i7 6700k (current define R4) (current ssd's) Need to buy a new power supply, case fans and a cpu cooler (i'd prefer air) Any suggestions would be appreciated. I'm from Australia by the way so your suggestions will probably be more expensive for me than you think.

So I've just pre-orded a Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1070 G1 (new build) and i need a motherboard for the I7 6700k i bought previously. The problem is i live in Australia and we get price gauged pretty bad. I've heard people recommend the MSI Z170A GAMING M5 but the cheapest i can find that board including delivery is $315 Aud would you still recommend this board at that price? Or are there better options?

Source: http://www.gizmodo.com.au/2016/05/youtube-red-is-now-available-in-australia/ Source: https://www.youtube.com/red YouTube Red launched in the US in November 2015 and has now come to us Aussies. Memberships will normally cost AUD$12 a month (the same as play music which is included) but the introductory price will be AUD$10 per month As a current user of Google play music I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the YouTube icon say "YouTube Red" at no additional cost

Hey all, I'm gonna be building a new pc come the start of the financial year and want to run it past you guys to see if it can be improved. It will be used for gaming and streaming games to my Shield TV. I know its a bit overkill but I want to indulge, however if some dosh can be saved I'm all ears. I'm going for a White theme with the PC to contrast a black desk. The pricing is inclusive of a windows 10 licence and 2 new G-Sync monitors http://au.pcpartpicker.com/p/P8YLCJ I'm planning to use a GTX 1070 or 1080, the 980Ti is there as a placeholder price, as its roughly how much i'll expect to pay here down under. Appreciate any input on this. Cheers.

Budget & Location I live in Australia, Queensland, and i have a total budget of around 3.2k -3.3k Use The aim is to use this system for mostly gaming Games like: Csgo, Overwatch, Metal Gear solid ,GTA, Arma, Dark souls, FarCry, Battlefield, Fallout/Skyrim..... and other similar games Monitors I've been suggested an Acer H257HU SMIDPX 60Hz 25.0 1440p Monitor but i am open to suggestions as i'm unsure if i need a 1080p or 1440p, 60hz or 144hz, TN or IPS. Any suggestions are welcome, but if you do can you please tell me why you suggested it (ie, hardware restrictions, great reviews...) Peripherals The peripherals i plan on getting are Corsair STRAFE RGB Wired Gaming Keyboard , Mionix Castor Wired Optical Mouse (and a steel series QCK extended mouse pad), Kingston HyperX Cloud II 7.1 Channel Headset I chose these because i've heard/seen/read lots of great reviews. i have also tried to colour co-ordinate this built to be a black/dark-grey and red build But i want to hear what you think of this pc, please feel free to suggest anything Thank you! Western Australian state authorities stepped in to stop a 65 year old man from sending millions to West African scammers. Mr Peter Melvin Kleinig has already lost million to scammers but refuses to stop sending them money despite repeated warnings. Consumer protection officials had to step and file legal action to stop him from sending more money to what Mr Kleinig believes to be a legitimate investment. Okay, before people start shouting "freed'm 'Murica!" and "Nanny state!", Mr Kleinig is basically funding criminal activity. So not only is he losing money, but he could also be identified as an accomplice. Source (ABC NEWS): http://www.abc.net.au/news/2016-04-06/west-african-scam-cost-wa-man-peter-kleinig-millions/7302322

So I'm in the market for a new chair, but it seems that the only two that have caught any attention from me are impossible to get. Maxnomic has no Australian store and doesn't ship here and the Australian DXRacer store is useless as it is always out of stock on any chair I might want. The chair I have at the moment (this piece of shit) is worthless at this point. Any leaning at all makes loud squeaking noises, the lean tensioner is broken, with leaning locked it still squeaks its noisy ass back and forth a few degrees diagonally, the padding on the arm rests is worn and hangs obscenely over the sides and worst of all, the actual seat has lost all padding where I actually sit and I now basically just sit on leather covered plywood. I'm particularly interested in the Maxnomic and any help or other suggestions would be very much appreciated.
