My question is if having a 4-pin CPU effects the maximum performance of a 750 Ti? (Compared to a 8-Pin) or that it doesn't matter since it all comes from the 24-Pin Mobo power cable.

Hi guys I just bought Palit GTX750 GPU(Single Fan), so like all of us I decided to overclock it, but temperatures (max load) went from ~40 degrees to ~80-90 degrees (Celsius scale ftw) Are those temperatures dangerous for GPU ? Any good aftermarket cooling solutions ?

I'm building my first pc and I am so stuck on these two graphics card. I wan't the extra performance and free games R7 265, but I also want the features and low noise and efficiency. I'm currently swaying towards the R7 265, but I need the professional opinion of you guys. I also have a few questions -What are the overclocking capabilities of both these cards? -Are these cards 1080p futureproof? -Should I just get a different PSU and case and get a better graphics card (like the R9 270X or GTX 760)? I need parts from this site and this site only! http://www.pccasegear.com. I can't do Newegg, ebay or amazon because my dad is a little skeptical about online shopping The build I'm currently planning on getting. Budget is $800, dad doesn't mind if I go $10 or $15 over CPU: AMD FX-6300 6 Core Black Edition Processor $129.00 GPU: Sapphire Radeon R7 265 Dual-X 2GB $169.00 Case: Coolermaster N400 Mid Tower Case $59.00 Mobo: ASUS M5A78L-M/USB3 Motherboard $79.00 SSD: Kingston SSDNow V300 120GB SSD $75.00 HDD: Western Digital WD Blue 1TB WD10EZEX $65.00 RAM: Kingston Hyper X Fury HX316C10FRK2/8 8GB (2x4GB) Red $99.00 PSU: Corsair CX-500 V3 Power Supply $79.00 CPU Cooler: CoolerMaster Hyper 212 EVO CPU Cooler $39 Total= $793 *All parts must be from PCaseGear

Hey everyone! Does anybody own this bayres/pump-combo from XSPC? I'm interested in getting one for my planned custom loop, but first I'd like to ask if anyone owns this unit and can give me any information on pump reliability, noise and vibration. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hey, i'm new here so i hope i'm doing this right... So i've got this i5 750 i've been using quite a while now, i've bought a new gpu already (gtx 760) and i thought i should upgrade the cpu and get myself a 4670k But i'm not sure if it's really worth it because i'd have to buy another motherboard and i don't know if i could get a lot more performance just by overclocking it Or maybe i should buy an AMD cpu... I don't know =/ Someone help me? Thanks

I went on way too long about this, sorry for the wall of text. Nvidia has a gap in their line up that needs to be filled. Currently we have the 750 Ti, *"660"*, 760. This is outrageous they still have a card in production and being sold thats going to be 2 years outdated soon! This is the one little spot that separates nvidia's lower end cards from their big boy cards (I know the 750, 750 ti, and 760 are all considered mid range cards, but this is how I think of it). The 650 Ti Boost, discontinued long before even being a year old was one of Nvidiia's best ideas in my opinion, you got the technologies, sli and gpu boost, of the big boy cards at the price and specs of the mid range cards, starting at only $150, which is an insane deal considering you could SLI them and get more performance than a 670 for cheaper, obviously it was only beneficial in SLI optimized games. I don't see why nvidia doesn't just make the 750 Ti Boost happen. I doubt it will use 20 nm processes, because this is only going to be used on the 870 and 880 form rumors, and probably not the mid range cards (850-860) until next generation cards when 20nm is fully integrated into all nvidia GPUs. Either was theres a $100 gap between the cheapest 750 Ti, and the cheapest 760, so It's a really hard choice: do I get the 750 ti and get an ok card, or spend a whopping extra $100 for a 760 which will probably be too much if your budget building. I think Nvidia should have a price tag of some where in between $180 and $200 on the 750 Ti Boost, making a good middle ground in between the 750 ti and 760, so these 3 cards can all have their roles. 750 Ti is for light gaming, 750 Ti boost is for moderate gaming, and 760 and up is for full on gaming. Also I would imagine a company like EVGA would have a bland model for $180, a superclocked one for $190 and a FTW edition for $210 with ACX and all that jazz. Also I think the memory will be a solid 2gb across the board, anything less and 1080p gaming is a big no no, and anything more would be stepping in 760 territory. Also I'm guessing a 192-bit memory bus to fit in between the 750's 128-bit and the 760's 256-bit buses and 192-bit is the sweet spot for 2 way SLI. What do you think of this? I really want to see the true predecessor of the 650 ti boost thats not the 660 we know form 2 years ago. I really want on too long about this but I really want Nvidia to make a sweet spot card in between 750 and 760. Maybe it'll be called the 755, since the 650 ti boost only had boost because it supported boost where as the regular 650 ti didn't. Many will say that the 750 Ti is the predecessor to the 650 ti boost, but I think not for 2 reasons, 1. It still has a slow 128-bit memory bus compared to the Boost's 192-bit so thats a downgrade 2. It doesn't support SLI this tied into the memory bus thing, but either way I think having the option of SLI is a huge step up, and the 750 Ti doesn't support it so again its a downgrade. Sorry again for the wall of text. Also, didin't want to really get into this but, AMD is offering their R7 265, which is just a R9 270 underclocked, that supports Crossfire with 2gb of 256-bit memory, and its only $150!!! Thats insane considering it has 20% better performance than the 750 Ti and is $10 cheaper than the base 750 Ti. This is insane that Nvidia is not acting on this.

Hello, a friend has a computer built on an a8 (not sure which one). 4 gb of ram and unknown Mobo. He has a 260-300 W psu and he wanted to buy an Asus GTX750, since that card doesn't require any power connectors, will the 300w psu be enough to run it?

Short Introduction This is a short overview over the EVGA 750 G2 since i couldn't find anything about it when i bought my new psu. I got this powersupply after RMAing my NEX650G, also from EVGA. I am currently using my old CX500M. Also, don't tell me that 750 watts is to much wattage, but this unit is not available in lower wattages. Don't expect any professionalism! I am taking pictures with my D5100 with an Sigma DC 18-125 1:3.8-5.6 HSM. I apologize for my bad english skills, I am not an native english speaker. Packaging & accessories In the box there is included: - the powersupply packed in nice soft foam. - a bag the psu is in. - an manual which i actually really like! nice illustrations and step by step installation guide.- all the modular cables which use different types of twist types which i find weird. on the NEX650G they were held together with velcro strips with an evga logo which i liked more. - a molex to floppy connector. - a bag for all the unused cables. - a power cord. its a power cord. its 1.5 meters long. - some delicious silica gel. - a 24 pin jumper. this is quite handy in my opinion, no more paperclips! - four black screws. in the manual q&a they answer the question why there are more than four screw holes but only four screw holes but there are actully only four screw holes which is a little bit funny. - four cable management velcro strips. The powersupply I really like the overall look of this powersupply. The finish is very textured and looks great. They rounded the edges and removed the handles from the last generation. They also improved the fan grill which was screwed on the last time which would have probably made it easier to replace the fan but it did look worse. I am also not sure how much airflow this design allows and how much air turbulence it will create. The modular interface is pretty self-explainatory, looks great and it very functional. I think it uses pretty standard plugs, that means that you could probably buy normal vga connectors, remove the clip and make you own cables from scratch this way. Also the zero fan mode is great too see, also the switch is pretty handy, but this needs to be tested in the next few days. The cables The main reason why i got my 650G was the cables. So is it for my 750G2. All the cables are black, including the connectors. On the 650G the vga cables were red, I liked it but i think not everybody does so i think this is the better solution. But the cables are not flat, they are sleeved with pretty high-quality sleeving. The heatshrink and the cable ties used below it are not really optimal, but it keeps down cost and doesn't look too bad. The advantage of these cables are that they are easier too cable-manage imo and if you want to you can sleeve them yourself later on. Mini-Conclusion This is kind of a mixture between the 650G, the 1300G2 the 1500 Classified and all the other psu's in EVGAs line-up. I think for around 100€ this i a psu, i would recommend. It is not perfect, but if you need the features it offers it is the psu for you! If you have any questions on it, ask me i will try to answer them as good as i can! And: Dear Linus Sebastian, Please review this unit. I would like to know your opinion on this. @LinusTech

Hey guys! So my friend has an Hp Pavilion HPE H8-1114 desktop pc and wanted a graphics upgrade from the gt520. He went and bought a 430 watt and a 750 without asking me and asked for me to install it. At first I thought it might work, but i was a little skeptical. As I installed it i put in the psu and kept the old gt 520 in there and it worked perfectly. Then, i put the 750 in and it went to the hp load screen and it said "press esc to go to setup" etc. and then i got the beeps. 1 followed by 3 fast beeps. I called evga and hp and the support wasnt helpful at all and i think that the newer 750 isnit compatible with the mb. I updated the bios from the hp sitwe and it still didnt work, but i noticed the bios were last updated on feb 6th 2012. 2 years behind so im guessing that its a compatibility issue and im thinking of just getting him a 550ti 1gb because another friend has the same pc and got the 550ti and it works like a charm. any thoughts? thnx guys!

So I am starting to buy parts for my first computer build, and im kind of stuck on what GPU I want, should I get the EVGA 750 TI FTW and have a little more money to spend on more parts or eventually get a better GPU or spend a little more money and just get a 760, and if so which 760? I mainly play Smite, World of Tanks, Wargame, LoL, Borderlands and Warthunder but there are a few other games I do want to play that are a little high end like Battlefield 3, Arma and Mass Effect and I would like to record and livestream too. What do you guys think??

Since the 750 and 750 Ti launched I though they would make great single slot cards due to their low power consumption, low temps, and in the case of EVGA's cards already having all the connectors within a single slot. I also thought EVGA if anyone would be the ones to do it since they were one of the only if not the only companies to put out a proper single slot 640 (v1). I posted my idea in the thread announcing the 750, 750 Ti, and Titan Black. Jacob got back to me with "No plans right now, sorry. We may look into it if there is demand though." After that there ended up being others that voiced their interest in a single slot 750 or 750 Ti so I thought I would create this thread to drum up some more interest, demand, and also to get some ideas flowing. For me this would replace my single slot 640 (v1) 4GB. I would also buy EVGA's DisplayPort Hub because I have the 640 running my 3 auxiliary displays via HDMI and that would make it far more elegant. Personally I would prefer this product to be a 750 Ti as for HTPC's this would mean you could even do a good bit of gaming with the machine. Seeing the 6-pin PCI-E connector would be nice but only if it was optional meaning that it could run with and without it. When plugged in it might let the card clock higher or something. I would prefer to see a blower cooler with some copper because of the space constraints. A back plate would be cool to see as well, just cause. Well guys show you interest if you have any and share your ideas of what you would like to see on the card. P.S. Here is the thread I created on EVGA's forums in case you have a account and what to show your interest there as well.

Which one should I go with? 'GTX 750 ti boost' or 'GTX 660' I am kinda confused as the 750 uses Nvidia's latest MAXWELL architecture but on the other hand the 660 is a better performer. Please help me choose one of these. And which manufacturer should I go with? I prefer EVGA because it looks better. So should I buy one from EVGA? Does anyone does it better? Some good help is appreciated

I noticed the C-link connector on my Corsair Rm750 power supply. After researching the connector I was looking for the C-link to usb motherboard header cable but after hours of looking I was unable to find the name of the cable or anywhere to buy it from. Anyone know what the cable is called or where I can buy it?

Hello there! I am a week or two away from getting a brand new EVGA Nvidia Gefroce GTX 750 Ti FTW card (upgrade from Gigabyte Geforce 550 Ti 1GB) and I see that there is a PCI Express 6-pin connector. Is this a must connect connector, or leave it not connected if I'm not making a overclock. And what if I connected the connector but not overclock? Will anything get bottlenecked or will there be any difference? Thanks!
