Can anyone confirm to me? the monitor screen bleeding are really showing on top right side it normal or should claim warranty?
-
Okay so the native resolution is not very popular among games so should I downscale to 1080p or upscale to 1440p with custom resolution settings?

Alright lads, here's the dilemma. Time to upgrade from my 1080p dual monitor setup. I game a lot, but also study IT and would like to have the real estate of 3 monitors. Choice 1: 27" 1440p Main Monitor 2 27" 1080p Secondary Monitors OR Choice 2: 32" 1440p Main Monitor 2 27" 1080p Secondary Monitors Any thoughts? While were at it, curved or flat?

Hi Linus, I've been your faithful viewer since I know your channel few month ago. Your review helps me understand more about PC system . I've been trying to ask about the performance of underclocked and overclocked GPU. For example MSI 3060 ti Gaming x trio and Zotac 3070 twim fans. With MSI gaming trio i can overclock 3060 ti to perform closer to 3070 performance with higher power draw, but msi is known for its silent fan. But I think I can limit power of 3070 so, it can perform closer to 3060 ti with less power draw and with cooler gpu, and zotac known for its loud fan. I am planning to play AAA games 1080p with maxed settings(with ray tracing of course). Currently I'm Using intel core i5 10400 with MSI B460m motherboard, 16gb of ram with, with thermaltake 650w psu, 75hz 1080p monitor. I am planning to upgrade CPU and add more monitor in the future. With this setup, which one should i buy between 3060 ti gaming x trio and 3070 twin fan(planning to apply power limit or it will bottleneck the cpu on some games), because they are basicly nearly costs the same in my country. Thanks for the response

Hello guys . I was playing cyberpunk for a couple of days and I wasn't so pleased with my fps so I decided to oc my GPU I used the gigabyte software to oc manually . I was running tests with heaven benchmark , I tried to go on 2100 MHz and I couldn't so I stopped at 2088 that my card runed smoothly . So I was ready to play and see how many fps I would achieve more. (My goal was 10 fps ) . So when is started the game the rendering was aufull I could see noise and particles on the glossy objects. So I reset to default all the settings on my GPU I reinstalled the latest drivers from nvdia and still I have the same issue when playing the rendering is bad as hell. I tried other games in some of them I am good and no such issue . Also ok the heaven benchmark when I runned it again with no oc I had the same particles on the ship that's floating on the canons. I think I just broke my GPU... I hope the photo that I am attaching is clear so you can see what I mean . GPU: gigabyte gtx 1080 g1 gaming CPU: Ryzen 7 1700x Ram: 16gb

Hi to all I have access to a set of 4 identical 1080p screens (from a local recycler) and I wanted to combine them in a 2 by 2 grid to make a single big monitor which would be of 4k resolution. However these are the ports available on my graphics card: 1 DisplayPort 1.4a and 1 HDMI 2.1. I was therefore wondering if you knew of a system that would "request" a 4k image from the graphics card on a single cable (DP or HDMI) and then split it onto the 4 displays. The only one I found was the Quadhead2go which retails for a fortune. I'm a computer science student so more on the cheap side and I don't mind doing DYI. Thank you all for your help! PS: I have an extra PCIe slot if needed.

So yesterday I ordered a new laptop (https://www.bestbuy.com/site/hp-pavilion-15-6-gaming-laptop-amd-ryzen-5-8gb-memory-nvidia-geforce-gtx-1650-256gb-ssd-shadow-black/6427566.p?skuId=6427566) And after doing a little research, I found out that it doesn’t have a Display Port. I use display port for this monitor, which is 144hz. (https://www.lg.com/us/monitors/lg-27gl650f-b-gaming-monitor/reviews) I did some research and someone asked if you could run 120hz via HDMI, but what about 144hz? I looked on multiple retailers and LGS site and could find nothing. If I can’t run 144hz on HDMI could I buy A USB-C to DisplayPort adapter? Thanks!

purchase advice Advice on Recent Monitor Purchase (LG 24GL600F)
ClickForLife posted a topic in Displays
Hi there, I recently picked up an LG 24GL600F in the Black Friday sales for £116.99. It's a 144hz TN panel. I'm wondering if anyone can advise if I've took the right choice over some other products like the IPS MSI 241C or the AOC 24G2. The only thing that put me off these displays was the higher price tag and higher GTG response times. The selling points of the LG monitor was of course its 144hz refresh rate and it's stated 1ms (GTG). I mostly play fast paced games such as Fornite, Call of Duty and Halo. I'm in no way an esports player, and just play for fun. I also use the monitor for alot of office work and reading as I'm currently working from home. Have I made a good purchase, or should I have chosen a different panel? I'm currently using a Dell ST2220L TN panel with 5ms and 60hz, so it's definitely an upgrade! Also, are any fellow LG 24GL600F owners able to comment whether I made the right choice as I've now read some stories online about smeary text and blurriness on desktop. Thanks!-

Hi all, thanks for reading this, I am looking for a new monitor but am stuck whether to go for a 1440p 165hz or a 1080p 240hz, reason being I've got a gtx 1080, which is still a great card, but might struggle hitting higher frames at 1440p with all the new games coming out, the issue is, I don't plan or want to upgrade my gpu for the next couple of years, (im 16, a new gpu in Australia is quite expensive, I'd rather buy a car). Would a 25 inch, IPS 1080ps 240hz monitor still look nice for single player games, or should I get the 1440p monitor and eventually sell my kidneys to upgrade my pc? Excuse my sarcasm this is an honest question :) Thanks for your help, Nick.

Hi, I am looking for a monitor to use for my xbox series x. I am choosing between a monitor with 1080p 144hz and 1440p 144hz. The problem is that I will be using an elgato hd60s game capture but it only records up to 1080p at 60fps so should i just get a 1080p monitor? Or can I play in 1440p and my viewers will be able to see only 1080p video with lots of complicated editing as I have a low spec pc. Also, the games I will be mostly playing are simulator like forza horizon and motorsport and f1 franchise. I will also be playing minecraft and rarely fortnite and other games of that genre. Please could you help and give any suggestions. Thanks

Hi, I am just looking for some guidance of getting a monitor. I'm looking into either getting a 1440p or 1080p 144hz monitors with my series x. The thing is that I want to be able to stream my games onto twitch and shorten them for youtube. I am not sure if there is a certain recording resolution limit for the series x. Also if you know how to stream games on xbox to twitch and edit them for youtube do i have to use a capture card for it and if not tell me the pro and cons with streaming without a capture card an with. Sorry if this looks like a mammoth task

Hi there! First of all sorry for my bad English. Currently I have a 24" 1080p 75Hz monitor, and I want to buy a 27" 1080p 144hz one. I thought about a 1440p 144hz one but then I have to upgrade my 1050Ti, cause its too weak for 1440p, and a 1440p capable video card with a 1440p display is way too much to pay. I have two questions: 1. do 1080p on 27" looks like a big pile of poop? 2. do the gtx1050Ti even capable of 144hz in 1080p for R6 (that's the main motive why i even want a 144Hz display)? Thx for your help :)))

The ViewSonic VX2458-C-MHD 24-inch 1080p 144hz Curved Gaming Monitor is available to me for USD 162.26. I have an i5-3570 paired with a Gigabyte Single fan GTX 960 4GB. I am buying this monitor for Valorant@1080p144. Will my PC be able to manage it? Does my GPU have G-sync? This monitor has Freesync, will it work with my GPU? Is this monitor worth it?

I'm currently really confused which monitor should I go with. I've been using 27 inch 1080p for like a year and half now and 81PPI doesn't bother me at all, I never seen any visible pixels unless I get extremely close to my monitor and getting 24 inch monitor feels like a downgrade to me. The reason why i'm confused is because many people say 1080p on 27 inch monitor looks ugly but since I never experienced 27 inch 1440p myself I can't tell any difference and why i'm hesitating into getting 27 inch 1440p is because not every game can run at above 60FPS on max settings at that resolution yet and I'm the guy who hate it when games run under 60FPS. So here's my question, how terrible does 1080p resolution looks on 1440p monitor compared to 27 inch 1080p monitor? Should I buy 1440p monitor and run it on 1080p or just get 1080p monitor? These are the monitor that I think I might buy because i'm into graphic designing as well and they good good response time and decent colour accuracy. LG27GL850 or LG27GL750

Budget (including currency): Max £1100 for everything including peripherals, hoping to reduce by buying discounted products during Black Friday Country: Ireland, but buying components from the UK to save money Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: 1080p gaming - mainly AAA single player games e.g. Cyberpunk, Baldur's Gate 3, Titanfall 2, Doom, Deathloop, Total Warhammer, Star Wars Squadrons. Maybe a little multiplayer (star wars squadrons or Titanfall 2) but nothing serious and I'll be playing on wifi. Plus general office tasks like Word, Excel, Powerpoint but no video editing or anything like that. Other details: I've spent the last few months looking into a new 1080p build. I need everything - monitor, peripherals, etc, and want to bring the price down by picking up anything that gets a discount during Black Friday. I've prepared a shortlist of options for each component and want to know: - Are any of them bad picks for my budget? - Are there any better options I should consider? - Is there any reason not to buy any/all components that are on offer and pick the rest up later? CPU - with no release date for a 5600 and the likely £50 price hike over the 3600, I'm looking at the 3600 or maybe the 3600x if there's a good saving. The 3300x has been out of stock for 6 months. If there are no CPU discounts I'll wait until I get the GPU (see below) in case there's something new by then. Motherboard - I need wifi, so the MSI B550M PRO-VDH WIFI is my number 1 pick. I couldn't see any other B550s that have wifi at this price point, or cheaper ones where adding a wifi card would come to the same price GPU - I'm almost certainly going to wait for the 3060 / 6600; I imagine the new cards will be more expensive so hoping to offset this with savings elsewhere. However if there are great savings on any of the below I'd consider getting one: EVGA GeForce RTX 2060 KO Gaming Gigabyte GeForce RTX 2060 Zotac GeForce RTX 2060 Gaming Gigabyte Radeon RX 5600 XT Gaming OC PowerColor Radeon RX 5600 XT Red Dragon Sapphire Radeon RX 5600 XT 6 GB PULSE Memory - either the Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB 3200 or the Team T-Force Vulcan 16GB 3200 Storage - either the Crucial P1, Kingston A2000 or the WD Blue SN550 - all 500GB NVME drives. I know the WD Blue is DRAMless but it seems to work well despite that? Cases - Either the Fractal Design Focus G Mini tower plus 1x Arctic P12 fan, or the Thermaltake Versa H18 mini tower plus 2x arctic P12 fans to have 3x fans in total either way PSU - I think I'd be fine with 550W even with a new GPU from what I've read? My shortlist is: Cooler Master MWE Bronze V2 550 W 80+ Bronze Corsair CV 550 W 80+ Bronze be quiet! System Power 9 600 W 80+ Bronze Monitor - Only 1x option here - the AOC 24G2U, as it seems to be overwhelmingly the best 1080p monitor Keyboard - I've never used a mechanical keyboard but would like to try one. I'd prefer a TKL as I've a small desk so either the HyperX Alloy FPS pro or the Corsair K63 Mouse - either the Steelseries Rival 3 or Logitech G203 Lightsync Headphones - either the HyperX Cloud Stinger or the Logitech G432 if there's a good discount Here's my current model build for ref on the price: CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 3.6 GHz 6-Core Processor (£180.00 @ Currys PC World) Motherboard: MSI B550M PRO-VDH WIFI Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard (£99.99 @ Box Limited) Memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 CL16 Memory (£58.00 @ Amazon UK) Storage: Kingston A2000 500 GB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive (£44.98 @ Amazon UK) Video Card: Sapphire Radeon RX 5600 XT 6 GB PULSE Video Card (£276.58 @ Alza) Power Supply: Cooler Master MWE Bronze V2 550 W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply (£52.94 @ Box Limited) Case Fan: ARCTIC P12 56.3 CFM 120 mm Fan (£5.99 @ Amazon UK) Case Fan: ARCTIC P12 56.3 CFM 120 mm Fan (£5.99 @ Amazon UK) Monitor: AOC 24G2U/BK 24.0" 1920x1080 144 Hz Monitor (£178.20 @ Currys PC World Business) Mouse: SteelSeries Rival 3 Wired Optical Mouse (£29.98 @ Currys PC World Business) Headphones: Kingston HyperX Cloud Stinger Headset (£49.99 @ Amazon UK) Custom: Corsair K63 Compact Gaming Mechanical Keyboard (Cherry MX Red) (£72.98 @ Amazon UK) Custom: Thermaltake Versa H18 Window (£41.28 @ Amazon UK) Total: £1096.90 Sorry for the long post and thanks in advance for any advice!

Currently I have a Dell S2716DG 144Hz 1440p 27" monitor (https://www.dell.com/lv/business/p/dell-s2716dg-monitor/pd) and would like to buy a second, cheap, similar looking one for a dual display setup - Dell P2419H 60Hz 1080p 24" monitor. (https://www.dell.com/hr/business/p/dell-p2419h-monitor/pd). I've read lots of forums and reddit posts but the opinions vary, so you are the community I trust. #floatplane My question is, is it possible to connect them both easily at their own resolution and refresh rate without any problems or a bigger performance impact?

Specs: i5-8400, GTX 1050Ti, 16GB RAM I want to buy a new monitor(s) but confused between these choices. One 1440p IPS One 4K VA panel Two 1080p IPS dual monitors All are almost at same price. Mostly multimedia work, MS office, movies etc. Sometimes casual gaming. Graphics don't matter to me in gaming. Currently using 720p on 32" for 2 years and want to use a sharp monitor with space for atleast 2 windows on it. That's why I am confused on these. I want the space and don't want pixelated text like I am using now. Please suggest what would suit best for me. Note: Overall workflow is important, gaming is not a priority.

Okay guys I have a riddle for you. What do you do when you want to upgrade your GPU, your SSD, your CPU cooler and get a third monitor but you only have money for a GPU? So let me explain. I have a 3700X with a GTX 1080Ti and I'm running a 1440p 165hz panel as my main gaming monitor and a 1440p ultrawide as my secondary (do stuff and watch movies on) monitor. As many of you I got drawn into the RTX 3080 hype as well and I set aside the 700$ (or in my case cuz third world country 900EUR) and preordered one. Well best indications showed that the earliest it would arrive would be mid-november so that got me thinking and I did some research. Yes the 3080 is substancially faster than the 1080Ti (duh) but it's not AS fast as I expected it to be at 1440p. The difference as far as I understand is between 50 and 75% which while a lot still ain't the 2X we were promised. I also started thinking about how I need a third monitor because 2 ain't enough for my workflow and on top of that I only have 1TB of storage which after installing a few games fills up pretty quick as you might imagine. I was thinking about going all out and spending a ridiculous amount of money on a third 1440p monitor + a 3080 + an SSD + a Noctua NH-D15 but then common sense struck me. Wait a minute I can get everything I want (sorta) and not spend my entire lifesavings on it. So.. you ready for the solution to the riddle: Instead of getting a 3080 I ordered a 25` 1080p 240hz Alienware monitor which obviously will give me a sizeable performance boost, I'll move my previous main 1440p monitor and use it as a third monitor while still being able to play games on it if I ever feel like it AND I have money leftover for both 1TB NVME SSD and a Noctua NH-D15 to replace my noisy Wraith cooler. Stuff is coming in tomorrow and I've already kinda made my mind up but I'm still super curious to hear from you fellow nerds: Was this a big brain move or a dumbass move?

I have a rtx 2060 super, should I buy a 1080p monitor or 1440p. I play games like rainbow six siege, minecraft rtx, and Forza Horizon 4 on ultra settings. Im worried that the rtx 2060 super wont have enough juice to power a 1440p monitor.
