I'm currently looking at getting a 1070ti. The prices have come down and I would be comfortable buying at the current price. I don't currently have a PC right now and don't have the money for the entire PC. I will have the money in the next couple months but I'm worried the price of GPUs will go up by then due to everyone rushing to buy the new cards and then buying 10-series cards once all the new cards are gone. The way I see it, I have 3 options: 1. Buy the 1070ti now even though I don't have the money for all the parts of my computer, 2. Buy the 1070ti once I have the money to buy all the parts and risk the prices rising, 3. Wait until the new cards come out and buy one of those for more than the 1070ti costs but get more performance. Let me know your thoughts

Hi everyone, I've recently started purchasing parts for a new build from scratch, and was wondering if you could give me some advice on the easiest/safest way to overclock my new Ryzen 2600. I'm a completed noob in terms of overclocking CPU's, and am completely new to AMD builds in general. Here is a link to the parts I've purchased (have not bought the CPU cooler yet, so open to suggestions) - New Build I have a couple of questions I hope somebody can answer or clear up for me. Is the Cryorig H7 a sufficient enough cooler to be allow me to get my Ryzen 5 2600 to 4.0/4.1GHz? Do I have a good enough PSU for this? Should I go for the 650W version? The x470 MOBO has an 8pin slot along with an additional 4pin power slot for the CPU, is the 8pin enough? How easy is the Ryzen 5 2600 to overclock for someone who has never done it before? Can anyone recommend a good guide? How safe is Ryzen Master Utility to use for a noob? I've heard Ryzen builds are very dependent on RAM speed, is the RAM I've chosen good enough? The case I purchased only came with 1 intake fan, I'm debating adding another intake, and an exhaust fan, will this be sufficient? I'm also afraid of using too much voltage in this OC attempt and destroying my new build. Is there a sweet spot I should aim for? A lot of questions I know, but any help or advice would be greatly appreciated! I want to get this right. Cheers!

Im looking to upgrade to a 1070ti 8GB card in the next month or so and ive been looking around at prices so ive got a budget of around £450 and theres a few cards within that price bracket. Can anyone recommend any sites to look at for suggestions and prices in the UK that i may have missed, so far ive checked out... Amazon, CCL Computers, Ebuyer, Novatech, Scan, Overclockers, & Aria PC as these are the sites i usually check prices on. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hello, im unsure of what to do here. I need a new graphics card and it has to be a blower style card since the open air ones don't work with my case because its too small. I can't upgrade my case since it's a prebuild case (Asus G20) My question is should I choose the Gtx 1070 ti Founders edition or the Msi Areo gtx 1080. I've read that the MSI one is a really loud at higher temperatures, and that the quality of it isnt near the same as the quality of the Founders edtion. Theres only a 48$ or 40€ price difference. And as far as I can see online from tests theres only about a 10 fps difference between the two cards.

My friend wants to get a GTX1080ti because his parents are paying but he only wants to play PUBG, we are saying get a 1070 or 1070ti we need help. He wants to get a pre-built so if you guys have any recommendations about the GPU or what pc.

Hi there, (You awesome community!) So I'm currently planning to build my first PC and got most of the hardware sorted out already. Ryzen 2600X; MSI b450-a-pro; CM masterliquid ml240l; 16gb 3200mhz; second hand GTX 1070ti. What would be the ideal monitor for that card? I play games like city skyline, KSP, CS:GO, BF1, Hitman, Life is Strange, Tomb Raider etc... I thought that a 1440p 144hz one would be best, but most of them are quite expensive. Thanks for your time! P.S. If you also have an example of a cheap 1440p 144hz monitor, or if there is anything wrong with my hardware, please tell me below.

I'm getting artifacting from my GTX 1070Ti... It's a PNY reference card with an EVGA Hybrid cooler installed. It never goes above 73c under stress tests, I haven't OC'd it in months. This happened overnight. I've tried using DDU and re-installing the drivers, same issue. Any next steps? I bought the card on eBay second hand months ago. PNY's RMA site states that they won't honor an RMA if the cooling has been modified. I've got three different monitors and my Windows MR headset. All of them show artifacts.

Here's the problem: I'm building a system with 3 graphics cards. When I plug in the 3rd GPU, the wireless Asus NIC stops working (code 10 error in device manager). Here are the specs: i9-7900x 3x 1070ti FE Asus PCE-AC51 (The wireless card) Asus X299-WS SAGE 64GB Crucial DDR4 2666 970Pro 512GB RM1000x With only 2 GPUs, the NIC works fine, then won't work with the 3rd card installed. Any ideas?

I was browsing around and have come to see that INNO3D cards are fairly cheaper than any other brands such as Gigabyte, ASUS, MSI, etc. Is there any particular reason for the difference in prices?

So i'm in the market for a new gpu, and since the RTX 2080 was announced i've noticed that there are a lot of used gtx 1080s and the price for a new one is dropping significantly. So im looking to buy a 1080, but im worried it would be overkill for my two 1080p 60Hz ultrawide monitors and I don't want screen tearing. So my question is, couldn't I just increase the resolution in game to say 1440p or a higher ultrawide monitor to make the image look smoother and to work my gpu harder? Or would the scaling be messed up

I have done a benchmark test on my PC after realising it is running slower than any other 1070 ti build, the results say that my RAM, CPU and GPU are all running slow, anybody got any advice/suggestions on how I should go about fixing this? I just got my Gainward 1070ti phoenix yesterday and after uninstalling my old and drivers with DDU and then installed the new GeForce drivers. But when I got into R6S the clock was 1786mhz on the core and 4000mhz on the memory, and the usage on the GPU is high same on my ryzen 1600 which is in the high 60's and low 40's while the gpu is at 99%. I play at 1080pMy specs ryzen 1600 3.85ghzgainward 1070ti phoenix16gb ddr4 3000mhz Any help is appreciated thanks

I know that the GTX 1080 is overkill for that, but I want to play games to their best with good frames, and eventually use dual monitors. I also know that the 1070Ti is good for 1080p gaming, but I don't know if it is as good with dual monitors, or as future proof. I chose the CPU because I'll be streaming, fyi. To summarize: I need help determining which CPU cooler to use on an OC'ed i7-8700k. I'm also open to a Ryzen 7 2700x if you think it'd be better for streaming, or an i5-8600k if you think it'd be better. I also want to know which GPU would be 1) more future proof 2) dual monitor capable 3) be able to play games maximized while streaming, the 1080 or the 1070ti. Hey guys Eversince i upgraded to my new 1070ti i realized an unsual performance in my games ive been getting substancially less fps than benchmarks i saw online on certain games with weaker cpu's like i54670k etc getting better fps than my 8600k so ive been digging around the net for solutions and didnt find any.Yesterday i realized that my cpu usage is off the roof 95% of the time its 100% usage even when there is no games open which is super weird can anybody help me would be really nice SPECS Zotac 1070ti amp xtreme i58600k 850w PSU z370 pc pro mobo 16gb ram

I have been wanting to upgrade my desktop for quite some time. Its a Haswell 4790k and an R9 390. I was deeply interested in the Vega56 when it launched at $400 eagerly awaiting for the AIB partner cards to hit the market. Then as we all know the Crypto mining boom hit and nothing was worth buying. Again the prices are back to at least reasonable from what they were a few months ago, but..... are they actually reasonable? In my opinion the Vega 56 is a flat out no, it is still going for over $150 over what MSRP was. But even now, the 1070 and 1070ti are going for $25-$75 over MSRP. Lets face it the 1070 is a 2 year old card, does it really deserve to be priced over MSRP with the next generation of cards coming this year? The 1070ti is quite a bit closer only costing about 5% over MSRP and only being 7 months old. Are the green team prices so high because the red team is so much worse off or are these cards still actually worth the mark up? So what are your thoughts, yes it is exciting that cards are back to where they were, but shouldn't they be measurably lower still?

Do you guys recommend me to get the EVGA 1070ti FTW Ultra Silent, upgrading from a MSI 1060 6gb. I found a deal on amazon for the evga 1070ti for $680 CAD, where the other 1070ti cards are around $750 CAD.
