  1. Over the course of a year, my expense on building my PC is almost $1k now, and it is not even great. More here https://redd.it/7dh5gm

  2. Thanks for all of your response, I will be playing this tonight. I hope to wake up early for work for tomorrow though hahahaha
  3. Even though your response is not the same, maybe what I will do is, just buy the prequel and then play it soon. Just like LOTR did on their release of "The Hobits" They tell the story on how it all happened after seeing the trilogy of LOTR. I enjoyed that movie, I just recently had the time to watch the LOTR trilogy and the first one of the Hobits. (sorry for off-topic on my own post )
  4. After seeing it on sale on Steam and hours before the end of sale, I finally purchased the game! I see that it the Game of the Year edition contains all the DLC that has beed released so I saved so many on that one. After sucking at multiplayer games(CS:GO, PUBG, DOTA2) I finally decided to purchase this game and just enjoy the story of it, someone told me that this game will consume a big chunk of my time, but that's okay because I don't have anything to do after work so I guess just relax and play this game. I did not install it yet because my internet here at home is slow AF (3mbps), so I will download it next week at work when we resume after the holiday. I still have some change from purchasing this game because it is so cheap, so I am thinking if I should buy the prequel of this game and play those before playing this. What is your thoughts about it? I decided to create this thread because I am so excited to play the game!
  5. i tried sorting it out but all of them are 0% usage on network.
  6. I just notice this on the current version, the last version(which I don't recall) has a properly working Task Manager. The latest doesn't show any signs of network usage at processes at all.
  7. I play during the night (UTC+8) http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198061543944/
  8. Can somebody tell me what is going on with my PC? I took some screenshot for better description. So I just noticed that something is using my internet connection but when I look at the processes to see what it is, it shows 0%.
  9. It’s okay ? Come to think of it, if I save all the money I spent on gambling, I could’ve bought the games that I want to play but doesn’t have on my steam library. And it should also stop me from being Captain Jack Sparrow. I like PC building too. If I do that in here there will be no profit because all of the people here who wants to have a PC wants it to be fast AND cheap but these two are on the different end of the spectrum. ? the idea of joining the stock market lingers me for a long time now but not have the guts to try and learn about it.
  10. Thank you guys for the responses, I appreciate it. After loosing the gamble, I always think that it should be better if I just bought some nice skins that I can afford instead of trying my luck. Even though I know that in every gambling site, the house wins. But this is the start to change things. I’ve been playing PUBG alot lately but sometimes the network is against me. Maybe play offline games instead? Anyway, I thank you again for your comments. Have a nice day.
  11. Gambling addiction. I will admit that i have gambling problem. Gabling problem on in-game skins. Basically I pay case opening website hoping that I will get more than what I paid. And then, when I don’t get more or brake-even, I will bring those skins to another gambling site which gives me the opportunity to mark-up the value of my skins, but instead loose miserably. I only do this every time my pay-check arrives. And only spending the extra (for example I receive $105, I will spend 5 on gambling). I regret the time that I was curious about the names of the players that I play with (InGameName gambling.com). So tried...once. And then I thought I was lucky because I got more that what I paid, so I want more. Then it begun the loosing streak, the “I can’t wait to gamble again” feeling. Now I feel miserable. Now I feel that it is not fun to play the game anymore without those skins. And let’s add the problem on my network that I can’t play well even though I want to play at my best, to enjoy, because of lag. This problem on lag exist because I only use WiFi connection. I am just renting a room to stay so the internet is shared with 5 other people. The landlord gave me permission to lay some ethernet cable but I am thinking about the other tenants that will suffer if I do this because our connection speed is only 3/1. I think I am falling from being a gamer. I say this because I think that I am not improving anymore. The gambling, lag, and frustration. At this moment I am trying to fight my gambling problem. I do this by draining(withdraw from ATM and store it in my closet) my debit card so that I can’t use it to transact online. But even though all of this that is happening to me right now, I am always thinking positive. I believe that everyday is a chance to change my/your life. I will try to go away with gambling sites, and just focus on money on physical things, like upgrading my PC. Okay this is long enough. If you read the entire post, I thank you for taking the time reading my story based on my real situation.
  12. how about the sticky goo, at first I thought it is some kind of leak in a erupted capacitor. I have a theory that some rat climbed inside my rig and peed in there (because I saw some tear on the serial/name sticker at the PCB) causing this rust and goo. Is my GPU in trouble?
  13. First the GPU. How in the world does this happened? Second the RAM. First I have 1x8GB Crucial ballistics Sport DDR4 RAM, then I just bought a 2x4GB Corsair Vengeance LPX RAM. Why does they don't work (no post, no display, RAM and CPU error LED flashing) when placing the 2x4GB on the GREY and the 1x8GB on WHITE. And then I read something in this forum that I should just place them right beside each other (1x4GB on grey 1x4GB on white 1x8gb on grey) and it works. Last is the XMP. All of my RAM has a rated 2400mhz speed when I run it on XMP, I did but task manager says that it is only running on 2133mhz which is default speed. And follow-up to this questions and problems. Why did my games drops the FPS from 140 to 90 after I added the RAM?
