  1. Heh, sad thing really. Aside from corporate nonsense from some big companies, there is definitely a lazy coding side as well, unfortunately partially due to higherups but yeah. But, for certain esports competitive games, some less known that are also programmed really well, can run up to 1000fps and look decent too.
  2. I just meant it that big companies for esports game should put more effort into developing better AC though. As we've seen even kernel-level one is not a silver bullet but just invasive piece of software. At least get good enough AC that can caught anything up to DMA cheats. For example the "combat log" in WoW combat log api gives a ton of game info for addons that use it to work. Especially combat addons. These are allowed of course, but certain combat addons like WeakAuras basically can do anything you can think of in terms of combat and automation. Which in a way is another heated game discussion, thus it's kinda stupid as addon plays for you really and makes it mandatory to use in the end, which is dumb, as in a way game is designed around it. This is a topic that is tough by Blizzard words, as if they would ban such combat addons it would break a ton of addons relaying on api access for different uses. Now, some certain info that was too much, they have limited separately and removed from combat log so it's not visible anymore. But yeah, this is an MMO and with addon support. I was mainly talking about online fps games that can be more locked down in terms of third party stuff. On the macro side in WoW yeah, that also can be iffy, some macros just broke gameplay, acted as interrupt bots, or quick 1-2 executions and such. Luckily they limited such actions and some straight up don't work anymore. But new things as game evolves get discovered so once it gets abused and gets attention it gets fixed. I get cheats and AC will be a cat and mouse game, but for esport games more effort needs to be put, because it's really easy as it looks to circumvent current ACs. Aside from DMA cheats which go lower then kernel level but cost a ton to set up and all, but at least a much larger barrier vs easier cheats. Yes, some games punished cough cheaters with difficulty trolling, some SP games some online like self damage, but yeah, first need to properly identify them. Funny Blizzard doesn't care about bots in WoW as much, they ban a lot, but oh is it not enough and they keep popping. The mouse/keyboard macro thing, I know earlier days in Apex you could make a macro that would turn a semi auto weapon in to fully auto my executing fast macro. Or better yet two binds same execution repeatedly. That got fixed, as they limited some extra binds but also in code how fast such a weapon can ever fire. The engine side though, at least for popular online games like esports ones, they don't use Unity or Unreal engine, some less known UE but whatever. It's usually old engines or newer proprietary ones. On top of using some know AC too. I know for some games, some things are client side some server side, so not sure how that transitions into making AC for it vs making good netcode too.
  3. It would be WoW in tens of thousands of hours.
  4. Answer kinda in the title. The very good ones, best ones are expensive, another reason as they are more niche market and lower volume. I'm someone who appreciates good fast monitors. Those super cheap ones are crap, simple. Aide from those now known 500 class or 540Hz there is 600Hz ones to come. But it's pushing LCD quite a lot. I expect OLED to take over as it's way faster and no issues in terms of transition. So currently such monitors have a place for sure, I like them and soon 480Hz OLED to come and eventually faster.
  5. I mean I do, but kernel level one is still not untouchable yet it has such root access which is unacceptable though. I'll check it out.
  6. Yet to check really, but I've already seen it's about Valorant and Vanguard anit-cheat that is kernel-level which is a nope.
  7. Many good options now. Can check reviews like above mentioned. Depends on your game sens, dpi it self means nothing aside from desktop use. I use 1600 but but depending on games sens it differs between people. My mouse is like 70g and it's fine.
  8. I'm just here wanting good anti-cheat in games. Oh and proper coding so games don't run like crap.
  9. It's transition time between pixels changing color, it's not as fast in LCD monitors enough for that to be done perfectly between refresh cycles, thus blur.
  10. It's straight up horrible and no. It is considered on consoles not PC though.
  11. Only VA I'd consider is Samsung Odyssey one. Or some TN with strobe like Zowie if you want that otherwise some other IPS then. Just check reviews, some are slower in response times.
  12. It's a good price, warranty is not as long as some other can be and doesn't cover burn in. There are other models from brands. All those QD OLED monitors use glossy panel but no polarizer though. Forget about overclock.
  13. I wouldn't get those as they are ultrawide and not 4K. There is no 4K 240Hz monitor anywhere near that price, they are just being released now and cost way more. Maybe if you find 1440p OLED for around that price on sale.
  14. Yeah for sure worth it for such games. Easy to drive and feels better. Also monitor have good price ranges too.
  15. Cool though. But as always EU prices just makes everything look bad. I managed to grab XTX for decent price before at least.
  16. The one game comes with as default? You turn up? Can't remember every game default but I usually have to lower in game sens because cam spins with blow on a mouse. Using 1600dpi. Don't know what mouse you have, but setting max dpi like what.. if it seems so slow maybe that mouse doesn't have high dpi, seems odd to me this case of yours. Point of having lower sens is to be precise in aiming mainly. Another thing is using mouse on desktop. Use on desktop what works and adjust in game for that game, simple.
  17. Sure is. Really I can't wait to me away from LCD though. I'm waiting for matte 480Hz which I want. But yeah burn in, as long as you don't use static elements 8h or more daily as a use case should be fine.
  18. Heh, I mean be it any middle east or a bit further, some countries really have good internet. Meanwhile larger parts of eastern europe crap.
  19. Just no, that's not how it works, that would make things worse. Others already explained it enough. Those displays are also expensive not just because of better panel it slef, but also special chip, controls on monitor which add a ton of expense that are not needed for consumers. So we'd 'only' the great panel from these monitors sans the custom chip and ports etc. But that would still cost a lot more than current best consumer displays since it is made to be the best and consumer displays have a much lower price that is acceptable on the market.
  20. That's in line what I got, can check my sig bellow as another options.
  21. Yeah I somewhat figured that, because I've seen a bit worse countries have better internet then mine. Yet we are worse in Europe quite sad. But caps aside, yes quality is another thing, it's not really good, can be iffy a lot of the times. But I'm not on fiber.
  22. Well idk about satellite I meant general wire. Even my phone plan is unlimited. Sad if so.
  23. I can't imagine data caps exist, I'm in third world country and it's not a thing at all. Slow speeds at places sure. Infrastructure needs to hurry that's for sure. But really this tech seems way far off then just expanding fiber.
  24. I find it very hard to believe we will see anything with RPM storage wise in consumer space. Stright up price is going off the charts for these and I'd just expect general SSDs to grow in capacity and internet speeds. These huge medias for consumer space aside from archival and pro space, are very slow vs their capacity. Speed needs to follow capacity at some point no. By this time is to exist, let alone questionable for consumer space, also price, we'll have SSDs far from it in terms of storage and speed.
  25. Really depends how much you value pixel density. 4K to me is just good enough, lower I easily see pixels.
