We do not have to, we do not have orange tips here in the UK, if you do not have a UKARA licence the gun has to be sprayed 50% in a bright colour

 

If you have UKARA you can have it black /wood etc like a real gun, 

 

you are not allowed them out in public anyway, so its not really a problem you just put them in a gun bag to take them to the airsoft site

i got it for 1900 usd from ultimaker even though they say its 2500usd on their site

and it is expensive but its extremely easy to use.  im software retarded and i can make it print like a pro
