    I have the ASUS RT-AC87U and have had it for a year now and its amazing. I used to swear by linksys products and I had a E4200 and a E1000 but I always had problems with too many devices connected and the internet being bogged down. We moved in January to a 5000 sq ft house and the asus being in the middle of the house reaches everywhere and even a little down the street on the 2.4 band. The 5.0 band I had a little trouble with at first because there are a lot of walls in the house but I can get it pretty much everywhere also. The configuration was painless and easy. I also use Asuswrt Merlin and it helped with performance a little bit. hope this helps you out!

    How is the Mac part of the build going? Have you had any success on patching the bios because I have the same motherboard and was also looking to put Mac on my computer too. I love the paint on the front panel by the way

    If you wanted to dim the lights and control it with a knob of some sort, you can get a potentiometer and rig it up in the cabling some how and that will do the job. Just make sure to get the right sensitivity. Nice Build!

    My favorite feature would have to be the front speakers. I get annoyed when I cover up my back speaker with my palm when i am watching a youtube video. Thank you HTC for doing this giveaway.
