  1. I just want to post a few links to e-bike sites for those who want to know more about e-bikes: https://www.electricbike.com/ and https://endless-sphere.com/forums/index.php These sites are for people who are interested in building or repairing e-bikes and other battery powered vehicles. These sites really helped me when starting from nothing. You can build bikes that easily go 30-45 mph for 1500$ if you really want to.
  2. Nope. I don't mess with phones very often because I don't really like them. Thanks for the info though! Is it any good or does it feel really clunky?
  3. Dang... Thanks anyway. Do all samsung phones support it or just their new and top line?
  4. I can text through my computer using a usb connection with my phone.
  5. I am looking for a phone that will natively interface with my computer. My Asus Zenfone 2 had it, but I don't want another zenfone (VERY bad customer service and RMA policy). I rarely use my phone for anything besides calls and texting, and some very light internet browsing. Please help, nothing besides Samsung comes up when I try googling phones that meet my needs >.< I would prefer if it was around 100$ used.
  6. Just wondering what other twist lock cables work with the M-100's besides the coil pro made by V-Moda. I can't find any information on the internet. If anyone has a pair and multiple twist lock cables could you test and see?
  7. Rig name: IceCpu: i7 5820kGpu: GTX 760Ram: 16gb
  8. *Voice of apathy* Oh no, the DOJ is actively choosing phones that are less secure. There is no way this will come back to bite them like choosing a less secure email service did...
  9. I was waiting for this a few years ago. Now that I have a mechanical keyboard, I see no reason to get this. It's linear, and will probably cost as much as a steering wheel. Being able to change the actuation point via software though would be cool...
  10. This seems like something Taran would be into. It reminds me of the Meccano/Erector sets. This would be great for test bench design. Past that though, it's useless. It caries all the problems of Meccano, with almost none of the benefits. Meccano is built on an already existing architecture. They just made plates and designs. Honestly the better choice would be to actually make a case from Meccano pieces (LTT get on this). If they used a common slip pipe/fitting system, and then just built ways to attach already existing hardware to it, it would be a whole lot better. They could even use snap clamps for making panels! It would make modding, and developing for it so much easier and cheaper. They could just buy aluminium pipe, powder coat it to make it look pretty, and sell that to us at a steep price. Other people would just buy PVC or some other cheap pipe at the specific OD. I think the MasterCase 5 MIGHT suffer from this problem as well, just because manufacturing and developing parts for it is so difficult. For modularity you either have to make something amazing on it's own, so people will buy it anyway, or build on top of what people already know/own/have easy access to.
  11. Check it out. I check MyHabit and Massdrop out every day. You might find something better on there that you like!
  12. Myhabit has a black Timberland fishing/river hoodie for 45$. Myhabit is run by amazon, and you need to register with your amazon account. Other than that it's a pretty cool place to find discounted clothing
  13. I wish Linus would keep us up to date on what is going on with the hoodies. Like one of those package tracking apps.
  14. Hey, I am looking to get a google cardboard to play around with and watch youtube videos with. Is there any specific google cardboard that is better than the rest at the moment, or are they basically all the same? I can always DIY something to make it more comfortable
  15. Death!? Cool tell that to the whole android market. I'm sure these applications would run just fine on the hundreds of different models, some with different architectures even, if they were written in C++. Please this has to stop. Every language is a tool. You wouldn't use a hammer to screw in a screw in the same way you wouldn't write a AAA game in java. Also, you wouldn't write a small app to check the weather in C++. So no, it does not need to die. It's just that people need to recognise its uses. I still hate the fact that there is not a built-in GUI API in C++ for example... Thank you. Seriously, that kind of thinking is so ignorant it hurts. Just thinking about C++ dominating the phone market hurts. Updates would happen less often than they already do, apps would break constantly after said updates, and developing new apps would be a nightmare! With how fast paced the tech world is right now, we need Java-like programming languages more than ever. Something effortlessly cross-platform. That is what makes Java so useful. Omg what about the massive amount of Linux servers... *cries*
  16. Hope they have the 3D model for the replaceable back as well as the name plate. Would love to do some cool 3D models for the people on the forum. If it had the Logitech endless spin wheel I would buy this ASAP. That being said, it would probably just be my gaming mouse as it is.
  17. Screw you fnatic. Func was making really unique and good products. They completely crippled the MS-2 and threw out the MS-3. Already done with them and their teams.
  18. Actually I think he was referring to the UK bill that will make it illegal for any company to tell their users if their information was requested by their government. The CEO could spend 2 years in jail if they did. Granted, the USA has been doing things like this for years now. Good ol' yahoo...
  19. Happy happy happy me. Please tell me we plebs will get a consumer version for prototyping T^T
  20. Show me the rendering times and then we will talk AMD... Then we will talk.
  21. I hope he doesn't settle and this case sets a precedent for intellectual property. I want freebooting to be completely illegal.
  22. Mine has had issues just because the software is always trash. It's also a fairly uncomfortable design (Yes, i have the Naga Epic and have used the 2014). Waiting for the Nyth to come out so I can use a 3D printer to make the mouse fit me perfectly :3 This looks a little more comfortable but i still have issues with it.
