    Not Telling
  1. It seems you can only participate if you're in the USA or Canada. Makes sense I guess due to shipping. It could be more prominently mentioned in this first post though.
  2. The kiddos seem more prominent in the video than they were in person because they wanted to be at the front of the stage. This is about the best crowd shot I got. Crowd goes further back out of the side of this shot.
  3. I flew from >12h away to attend this event and agree with your pros/cons. The crew were the stand out stars for their attitude and energy. I never saw them turn down a photo or signing opportunity and they came pre-prepared with multiple sharpies each. I wanted to get a shot with Dennis and Colton. I managed first but not the latter. They fell a little out of schedule and as the first stage presentation was happening I was half way through my food. I wasn't sure if food was allowed down on the floor so I stayed up in the stands. The stands had some of the best views I think. However the projector screen were really bad, and from the stands it was inaudible. I knew in advance there would be a lot of swag so I didn't bother fighting among the crowds by the stage. The crew had backpacks full of the stuff and were just looking for ways for offload it all. Everyone in our group ended up with a tshirt which we got for participating in the sumo game. Win or loose, we all got one. As you pointed out there was a bit of a missed opportunity by the sponsors. The products selections on display were thin. At one point I heard someone saying they would have bought some of the products if only they were for sale. It wasn't obvious, and I still don't know, if they were actually selling the products or just showcasing them. Edit: All the booths were 100% legal
  4. For the first time ever I was actually tempted enough by the sponsor spot at the start of the video to "check out the link in the video description". However I was disappointed to find that it isn't linked there at all. Instead of a link to the Feenix keyboard is a link to the (unavailable) Feenix mouse. I won't be following this post to check for some correction and a properly affiliated link, I'm too lazy for that. Though I did revive this account that's been inactive 3-years to voice my disappointment, so I guess you still win.
  5. I can understand how you might have made this mistake. I'm not as old as some here but in my limited capacity allow me to further explain this. You will notice he has 7 expansion slots and 7 back panels. 1 APG, 5 PCI, 1 ISA. I've included example images of each below to help illustrate: AGP PCI ISA Take note of how the ISA card is orientated in the opposite direction. This is because ISA cards are installed face-up, unlike the AGP and PCI. The bottom back panel in the case is shared between the ISA slot and the bottom PCI slot. This is why you can only install one or the other. With this specific combination of case and motherboard the top black panel will not be occupied.
  6. Missed out on the first batch so I've been eagerly awaiting this for a while now. I don't have a use for it right now but plan on sitting on it until Broadwell comes out. No telling what might become of this case in the future so I don't want to potentially miss out.
  7. Silence by far. I would underclock my CPU if it reduced heat, thereby reducing cooling requires, and in turn the noise.
  8. That's a very handy link, bookmarked.
  9. A lot of those companies just re-badge PSU's. Not that there's anything wrong with that in theory, but since they do not consistently use the same OEM, even within a single series, it can result in wildly different quality. For a more specific example: Corsair HX-450 – Seasonic HX-520 – Seasonic HX-620 – Seasonic HX-650 – Seasonic HX-750 – Channel Well (CWT) (DSG platform) HX-850 – Channel Well (CWT) (DSG platform) HX-1000 – Channel Well (CWT) HX-1050 – Channel Well (CWT) In this example, if you read a review of the 520 you could get a fair idea of how a 620 might perform also. However that would not be the case between the 650 and 750 Source: http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/power-supply-oem-manufacturer,2913-4.html
  10. Silverstone PT13 Thin Mini-ITX 1.6L $59.99 http://www.amazon.com/Silverstone-Tek-Aluminum-Mini-ITX-PT13B/dp/B00DL4BMMC
  11. Depends if you mean small as in the volume of the case, or its footprint on the desk. For example the following: Silverstone RVZ01 382mm (W) x 105mm (H) x 350mm (D), 14 liters Silverstone SG07 222mm (W) x 190mm (H) x 350mm (D), 14.8 liters
  12. In the PSU calculator it has Regular, High rpm, and Green SATA. What do these equate to in RPM? 7200, 10000, & 5400 respectively?
