Okay, this might be my personal preference/Opinion , But does the Linus's new unboxing channel has that slight "Unbox therapy" vibe to it? not that there's anything wrong with that , i like the background & how it looks overall. But it doesn't bring that oldie Linus vibe for some reason, i don't know how to say it, it feels like a scheduled studio stuff?? the overhead shots were inverted/upside down when it should've been down towards the viewer imo, the desk should have minimum of 1 & maximum 2 objects on it, i guess it felt like 3 flower pots were a bit too crowded & distracting. the main camera & side angled ones looked amazing, the contrast can be a bit boosted imo. lighting,color & focus were perfect throughout . i guess i miss that casual stood up against a tall table one take shot from the old days. Anyways i want to see more & how the channel content progress, hope they wont abandon it in 3-4 months time.

@DildorTheDecent : Goddamn , i didn't mean outside in the sun, i've only seen like one or two videos like that. you remember that huge bright deep blue wall with the NCIX wallpaper thing? something with maybe 1 or 2 jump cuts & slow transitions & continuous close up shots, that's the thing i was talking about. it's like you were almost literally there with him looking at it compared to watching a catalogue read out done by a model.

the proper answer would be "since that new underwear thing" , but i mean like those regular ad spot skinny dudes on old TV ads. he kinda used to have that charisma & look to him back in the days.
