  1. Just as the title says, I want to disable the automatic portion of the updates. I'm not saying I don't want to update, but at the end of the day if I leave my PC on and go to bed, it sometimes restarts. This is a huge pain as I leave all my software open and some of it doesn't save any changes that happen between me leaving for bed and when I'd expect to return.
  2. I've repaired them before, but I've have a decade of soldering experience. http://www.aliexpress.com/item/10-Pcs-Per-Lot-7-15-Pin-Right-Angle-SMT-Male-Reverse-Sata-Connector-For-2/32537289129.html?spm=2114.40010308.4.2.Mye03B
  3. you glue two fingers together... ALWAYS happens
  4. heat it up with a hair dryer and then use superglue.
  5. let me rephrase that... a vast majority of the computers are win 7 now. probably about 97% of workstations.
  6. 1. Open the Services desktop app.2. Open properties for TDM Service.3. Set startup type to disabled.4. Repeat steps 2-3 for Intel Rapid Storage Technology.5. Reboot.
  7. I have not seen this. We are first getting windows 7 Also most of the terminals for satcom are win 98 and NT. Which is probably older than 87% of the people on here.
  8. No... people are already ceasing to play

  10. I'm looking for a faster storage medium for my laptop. I found a 256gb evo ssd on amazon for $70 but I can't find any specs as to why it's so cheap compared to the $160 256 pro. I imagine there is a difference in I/O speeds.
