  1. Weird, I wonder if my issue is actually the driver then. I updated to it prior to playing Cities Skylines 2. Less than 10 minutes of in game would result in crash to desktop. Thought it was CPU OC at first so set that back to stock but same thing. Went into reliability history and discovered it was producing bug check 141 (video engine timeout). Set my GPU OC (that's been stable in everything else for over a year now) back to stock and it fixed it. My OC was also undervolted so I went back to it but upped the voltage from .982 to .993 and it's been fine.
  2. Swapping quickly between the two screenshots I took (first one being high settings, second being my settings), the most obvious changes are the LoD and fog. With my settings there's a lot less decoration and detail on the buildings at this zoomed out level and obviously the fog is gone as I disabled it. Maybe at a more zoomed in level the GI and AO would be more noticeable but I can't really see the difference in the zoomed out pictures.
  3. Global Illumination, Level of Detail, and Ambient Occlusion (in that order) get the biggest performance gains. Curious to see what you get if you try my above settings.
  4. 3080 10GB and 12700KF. 1440p High preset settings (38fps) vs custom settings (64fps). About 2k population.
  5. Actually Pokemon games haven't had the Game Corner (casino) since Heart Gold and Soul Silver in 2010 for this exact reason.
  6. If I'm understanding what you're wanting to do here you shouldn't need a second HDMI output. The Elgato has an HDMI IN and OUT. So you go out from your main PC GPU into the Elgato for capture, then out of the Elgato into the TV for display. This should be 0 (or very near 0) latency as the out is just a passthrough.
  7. I'm aware of that, I have one, and more often than not they can used interchangeably. I've paid for many things in my ~20 years of owning one that ask for a credit card with my debit card (including online subscriptions like this). The only real difference is one is tied to a line of credit with a limit that you pay the balance off of, the other is tied directly to your bank account.
  8. I've been with my bank since my dad first got my brothers and I bank accounts when we were kids so I'm unaware if this is uncommon or not how it works everywhere, but did your bank not issue you a debit card? You should be able to use it if so. If nothing else works maybe a service like Privacy that lets you create temporary credit cards?
  9. GSYNC (or well GSYNC compatible in my case) is working for me. You may need to go into your nVidia control panel and toggle it from Fullscreen only to Fullscreen and Windowed I've been playing on my 3080 10GB with 1440p RT on and DLSS balanced. Had to drop texture and render distance to avoid the VRAM issue but get 60fps+ (upward of 85 or so in some areas) otherwise. Still get the frame drop/stutter when entering new areas but I think that's an everyone issue?
  10. Some games work better with controller, some better with KB/M. I would say it's more weird to lock yourself to a single type of input device. Shooter, RTS, simulators (like City Skylines or such)? yea I'm probably going to use KB/M RPG/Action/Adventure, (especially) Racing games? I'm going with controller 100%.
  11. Have you tried eBay or similar? I see some cases on there for sale; though to be fair for the price of the ones I see you'd probably be better off just buying a whole new set lol.
  12. ICYMI HUB has acknowledged the discrepancies in their power scaling tests and have contributed it to the motherboard auto voltage they believe.
  13. Update hit my PC last night and like most here I got the tabs in file explorer but not task manger from task bar, not that it matters to me as I always use CTRL + SHIFT + ESC, but just noting it.
