the strix isnt as good as rmx but it is still decent but overpriced. what about rmx 650? Rmi 650w?
but for 30 dollars more i wouldnt get the 750w even if the rmx is a bit better than the strix. I would get the strix.

edit: If for what you are doing with work, do not need as much cpu power as a 3700x then I would definitelly go with a Ryzen 5 3600 and a rx5700 xt

Thanks, sounds like this will likely never be an issue for me then. Makes finding a suitable PSU easier, appreciate it.

Get a Corsair RMx 550W or BitFenix Formula or Whisper 600W

A 500W unit will get the job done; Yes, later AM4 'boards have a 2nd EPS port that's really only needed for exotic cooling (LN2, etc), but it's optional.

Also if you don’t need or plan to use PCI-E 4.0, you can step down to a B450/X470 and probably save some money, just be sure to look at the mobo tier list. No gpu’s on the market currently max out even Gen 3, only deciding factor would be for a gen 4 nvme.

He didn’t ask for one in the op, once decided on a cpu you should buy around that.

Guys, did you not realize he hasn't picked a motherboard?
You can pick your motherboard from this tierlist here.
Although, you may want to wait for the B550 board, which will be released in the 16th of June, for easier upgrades to the 4000 series.

Then really as many cores as you can afford, but really you should go with a 3700X, 3800X if you want slightly better boost clocks. 32GB of RAM should be fine but depending on just how much stuff you may want to try for 64GB, but that won’t be as important as at least 8 cores. 3900X if you can squeeze that into the budget, I have one and I love it.

What for? They can just enable PBO and it will boost to the 3600x speeds.
Avoid Razer for any peripherals except the Huntsman TE and the Viper Mini.
Don't get Logitech for keyboards, the have non replaceable keycaps due to having a custom keyswitch stem. Their mice are fine, pretty good wireless technology,
For that price, get something like a Ducky One 2 TKL and a G305.
