  1. Pretty sure they noticed the comments and made a conscious choice not to respond so as not to draw further attention
  2. Was watching the Cold Fusion Intel story on YouTube Part 1 & Part 2. I wasn't aware just how bad their anti-trust behaviours were.
  3. Part of the problem is the patchy coverage even in major cities which causes the device to be constantly scanning and switching between 4G and 5G
  4. If you are concerned why not create a secure folder or better yet get a second drive for your secure docs. This way you get the performance and security. But to answer your question you will see a performance hit in I/O but this will be the case with any encrypted drive and I would expect when comparing two drives with and without bitlocker that the performance difference would remain mostly the same
  5. Yes VR has a long way to, graphical processing power will be a big part of that
  6. With VR on the table it will be a very long time before devs can't take advantage of more graphics processing power
  7. Yes this has been going on for quite a while now but I had been hoping that Samsung would have done something about it especially given the price of the S20 Note. For those interested this is an interesting watch
  8. Just watched a couple of videos on YouTube comparing the Exynos 990 with the Snapdragon 865+ processors in the Note and it seems clear that battery life and performance are again subpar for Exynos. As an Australian with no access to the Snapdragon variant I think it is time for me to move away from Samsung.
  9. I have always thought of Future-Proof like Fool-Proof. Taken at its most literal both terms are pointless, but the concepts they are trying to express make sense when realistic expectations are applied
  10. ....wait are you suggesting NVidia marketing isn't completely transparent and honest
  11. I suspect that Facebook smells blood in the water. Apple's reactions are entirely predictable and, like Epic, Facebook set them up in order to make Apple look bad. Personally I believe Apple have abused their Monopolistic power but Facebook are hardly known for generosity and transparency either. Facebook execs are probably drooling at the thought of being able to create an iOS appstore of their own.
  12. I think we will have to agree to disagree. I see your point but my opinion is that different sizes have strengths and weaknesses for different use cases, especially when you add resolution, response time and color specs to the mix. LTT has many videos on the other aspects of monitors but nothing which addresses size considerations.
  13. That is a big piece of it but but it is a question that you need to answer when buying a monitor and LTT has never covered this. Most people have to compromise when buying a monitor and size is part of this, do I get the absolute best 27" or would I be better off getting an 32" or even an ultrawide with lower specs
  14. Would be great to see a vid on monitor sizes and what sizes work best for different use cases
