I want to get a 2560x1440p monitor, and I am stuck between the dell u2713hm and the viewsonic vp2770. I have already tried the asus pb278q, but I wanted to try another monitor instead. The monitor will mainly be used for movies, gaming and other simple tasks.

My gaming headset is not working anymore, the front left speaker has stopped functioning. So I can barely hear anything, it can function sometimes, but the sound is like flashing so it's very uncomfortable to listen to. So I am going to have to get a new audio setup, and I want to do it the way Linus and other youtubers like Logan recommend, and that is to get a nice pair of headphones and have an external microphone like the modmic. But I don't really know anything about headphones, I've heard that Sennheiser is good, so can you please recommend any good pair of headphones. The price range is ca. 250 dollars.
