  1. If you are prioritizing a camera that will do well in high temperatures, the Action 3 is definitely the camera to go for. This video is proof of that As for the mounts, they do have share the same mounting style as the GoPro mounts. It also has a time-lapse mode. From what I have heard you can run an external power source through the camera similar to the GoPros. Regardless, if you are looking for a camera that can stand the heat, the action 3 is the better option vs. the GoPro 11.
  2. It was already stated above as well but the new Macbook Pros are very hard to beat for that work. I am a diehard PC user but I even bit the bullet and switched to the new Macbook Pros for my editing for the performance and accurate screen - but I was also looking for more portability too with traveling. If you know that you are going to be working with the Apple ecosystem anyway, it can also save you some headache when/if you need to share certain data, files, etc.
  3. Well by the looks of the fried spot on your graphics card I would say that there isn't any going back from that. That is most definitely the problem and it is very difficult and most times impossible to fix a fried board like that.
  4. I've really liked the idea of having a wireless 60% keyboard for the simplicity of it and so I ended up going with a cheaper keyboard just to try out the 60% layout before I spent more money on one. I got the RK61 off amazon and have noticed that it is very finicky. Sometimes keys will register, other times they will register twice, and sometimes it just works perfect. It's become really annoying not knowing for sure if every click is going to do what I want it to do and I'm wondering if anybody has had similar issues with this keyboard? I have the red switch variant if that makes any difference.
  5. The newer GoPros aren't even comparable to the Hero 7 Silver. If I was getting a new action cam I would be looking to get another GoPro simply because the new GoPros do everything that the Action 3 does and more.
  6. In short, yes 500gb is more than enough for a boot. I know people who boot on a 240gb with no problems. I would choose speed over size. I use a 500gb SSD for a boot drive and then have x2 1TB HDD for game library and other files. All depends on if you want to store your game library on your boot drive or if you don't mind having a slower SSD or even a HDD for your game library.
  7. I would honestly get 550w incase you want to upgrade a couple components. 450w should be fine but I personally like to get a little larger of a PSU than I need for both future proofing and PSUs have a range where they run the most efficiently which usually is around 50%-75% usage.
  8. I use Arctic MX-4 and have had nothing bad to say about it.
  9. future proofing for the next gen cpus that just were announced
  10. They are compatible but I would get a beefier mobo for a 3600x. Just my opinion
  11. I’d go for the 3600 as the things you plan to do with your pc are cpu intensive and the 3600 is a more powerful cpu
  12. Don't waste your time on garbage dongles. Same thing goes with wireless mice and their dongles, you don't want to get a cheap one because most likely you will notice issues with it.
