Still cheaper than 3 high refresh rate 1080p monitors.

First, it would take about three 7970's to get the same double precision computational power as this new Xeon Phi, which would use a lot more power and in server environments power cost is a huge deal. Also if double precision performance was the only thing that mattered there would be no reason to have Quadro and FirePro cards. But the reason they are around us because they have support with perfesional applications.

I would like people to read all of the post before they reply because why would crossfire work in a dozen other games but not in Far Cry 3 if Crossfire wasn't enabled in CCC?

Of course the 295X2 is going to win in game benchmarks, it's build completely for gaming. While the Titan Z is a professional rendering card that just happens to have gaming drivers.

For me, the problem isn't that these games are going to far with graphics and making things look too real but they are kissing something's that we have in real life. Like on my PC, skyrim with about 100 mods that enhance the graphics of the game makes it look great but with a couple of mods that make things like grass and hair move and interact with the world around them I feel way more immersed in the game and I overall have a better experience. But after I got a better graphics card for my PC and I could run skyrim with both sets of mods it looks better then either one separately. So I think that making the graphics better by using bigger textures and more detailed worlds is great but developers should also focus on the physical properties abd interactions of everything in the worlds.

I would switch to 2x8GB because that leaves room for upgrade in the future, and just because it is an after market cooler doesn't inherently make it better. So the Evo, like metioned above, would be my recommendation.

I currently have a Radeon 7950, and I am looking for an upgrade and with the upgrade some water cooling. I was thinking of selling my graphics card and buying a GTX 780 and setting up a custom water loop. But would it be better to just go with another 7950 and water cool both of them?
